Chris Rock: Did He Cheat on His Wife With Kerry Washington?!
Chris Rock is a living legend, and like many men who have had that status conferred upon them, Rock seems to have a bit of trouble in the fidelity department.
Refreshingly, however, he’s not blaming his inability to keep it in his pants on a sex addiction or the pressures of fame.
In 2014, Rock and Malaak Compton-Rock divorced after 19 years of marriage.
The split was far from amicable, but in a change of pace from the usual celebrity breakup, Rock actually admitted fault and confessed to being unfaithful to Compton.
The comedian recently gave a stunningly candid interview to Rolling Stone in which he went into great detail about his infidelities.
“I was a piece of s–t,” Rock bluntly told the mag.
The writer of the piece goes on to describe Rock’s shocking confessions thusly:
“He segues into his infidelities and gets disarmingly specific, describing three women: one famous, one semifamous and one a member of the retail class.”
Naturally, that description has prompted a flurry of speculation with regard to the identity of the famous woman.
Now, Page Six is claiming the cat is out of the bag, and Rock’s A-list side-piece has been identified as Scandal actress Kerry Washington:
“He was cheating on his wife with Kerry when they were filming [‘I Think I Love My Wife’] about him, ironically, having fantasies of cheating on his wife,” a source tells the tabloid.
“That went on for a while, for like six months, and she found out. There’s no gray area.”
The revelation is especially scandalous (no pun intended), as Washington was engaged to actor David Moscow at the time of the alleged affair.
Rock’s team is already doing damage control and brushing off the confession as “joke”:
“I take it as a joke when he says he cheated with a famous person. He even says he cheated with a member of Destiny’s Child, but not Beyoncé,” says a source close to the comic.
“He was friends with Kerry around that time. They did the movie together. He was also separated from Malaak around that time. They were off-and-on a lot during their marriage. It was a rocky situation.”
As for his romantic future, Rock says there’s little doubt about his marital prospects:
“Would I ever get married again? Not if it would cure AIDS.”
Needless to say, his divorce hasn’t cost him his sense of humor.

Scandal Did WHAT?!? Kerry Washington Reacts to Controversial Killing
WARNING:
The following article contains major Scandal spoilers in light of the shocking event that highlighted this show’s wildly anticipated return on Thursday night.
Do not read any further if you wish to remain in the dark about what went down on Scandal Season 6 Episode 1.
Okay? Ready? Warning heeded?
Good, let us start here in that case: HOLY MOTHEREFFIN CRAP!!!!!!!
On the first new episode of this beloved drama since last May, viewers learned early on that Mellie lost the Presidential election to Frankie Vargas by just a few thousand votes.
Yes, a controversial male candidate defeated a female candidate for President by a razor thin margin.
The episode was filmed about six months ago, so while the election storyline may have been inspired by Donald Trump taking on Hillary Clinton in the real life Oval Office race… the result was more prescient than reactive.
What happened next, however, is what left jaws around the country dropped to the ground and what has led to significant backlash against the Shonda Rhimes-created series:
Vargas was shot while giving a speech on national TV.
He was taken to the hospital, where he quickly flatlined and died.
As mentioned above, the premiere was filmed several months ago.
Nevertheless, Scandal is under a bit of fire at the moment for even daring to go here; for actually airing a plot that centers around a Presidential assassination during a political environment so fraught with tension and anger.
The episode was originally slated to air last Thursday night, a day before Trump was sworn as POTUS, until ABC moved it back at the last minute so the network could air a special about Trump’s family.
Was this postponement related to the delicate subject matter?
No, ABC entertainment president Channing Dungey tells TV Line.
“Here’s the thing: It is a fictional story about fictional characters in a fictional world, that very much builds off of everything we did in Season 5,” she explains.
Dungey does acknowledge a “weird similarity” to what happened in the actual election on November 8 between Trump an Hillary Clinton, but emphasizes that this storyline isn’t even about the late President-Elect himself.
It’s about Cyrus (who Fitz appointed as his successor!) and whether he actually planned the murder.
“That’s an inciting incident that’s about plot,” Dungey says, adding:
“Because what the episode is about is something completely different. It’s about Cyrus’ complicity, or not, [in his running mate’s murder]. So while I feel like, ‘Sure, there’s a tiny bit of an eerie something,’ the story we’re telling is a very different story.
“Again, it’s a fictional story in a fictional universe. And it’s a great story for Scandal.”
Star Kerry Washington was also asked about the parallel between this stunning turn of election events and the equally stunning result that has gobsmacked America.
“I think it’s important that people know that the episode was written a long time before the outcome of this past November. I think that’s important,” Washington tells Entertainment Weekly, adding in more detail:
“It doesn’t get lost on me every day that for years the culture of this show was that the things we say and do are outrageous and unfathomable, and now we’re having to change plot lines and reconsider air dates because it’s too close to what’s actually happening or could be misconstrued as such.
“That is a reality that I am consistently trying to wrap my head around.”
It’s true. Real life is even more bizarre and harder to predict that Scandal.
That sort of says it all, doesn’t it?

Kerry Washington: What the Heck Did She Say on Ellen?
We think we speak for all television viewers when we say the following:
FINALLY!!!!!!!!!
Following a hiatus that lasted way too long, Scandal Season 6 will finally kick off on ABC on Thursday, January 26.
The series took an extended break between the spring and this winter due to star Kerry Washington"s real-life pregnancy.
So Ellen DeGeneres figured that Washington needed some practice prior to reprising her beloved role as Olivia Pope on this addictive new drama, inviting the actress on her talk show for a game of "Speak Out."
This basically involved Washington putting a piece of plastic inside her mouth and trying to … well… speak out. In coherent fashion.
And it involved Ellen having to guess what the heck Washington is saying.
Before asking readers to hit PLAY on the following video in order to see this hilarious back-and-forth in action, we had to get at least try to give fans a few Scandal spoilers prior to the show"s big return.
"It"s worth the wait," Washington told Ellen during their taping, referring to the election that happens on the show. "In the first 10 minutes you will find out who won and who lost."

Kerry Washington: Excuse My Twitter "Rant," But...
Kerry Washington is so gosh darn adorable.
An actress who is nearly as private as she is talented, Washington gave birth to her second child this month.
She and husband Nnamdi Asomugha welcomed son Caleb Kelechi Asomugha into the world back on October 5, although news of this joyous event didn’t go viral for a couple weeks.
We said Washington was private, remember?
Which is why it came as a shock late last week when the Scandal star made like Kanye West and went on a crazy Twitter rant.
Okay, it wasn’t that crazy. Not in the least.
But Washington herself dubbed her diatribe as such, which is why we adore her so much.
“It’s a quiet Saturday afternoon. So, a few things I wanna get off my chest,” the beloved actress began on Saturday, prior to delving into a number of issues.
First, the mother of two precious little kids thanked her four million followers for all the love and support they have showered her with after learning about Caleb.
“I saw all your very kind & thoughtful congratulatory tweets. So yeah we thank you. Xo,” she wrote along with a heart eye emoji.
However, Washington did not then ask folks to go watch Scandal online in order to catch up prior to the show’s return in early 2017.
Instead, her messages took a far more serious turn when Washington mentioned the name of a 66-year-old Bronx woman who was reportedly shot and killed at her apartment last Tuesday by a uniformed New York Police Department sergeant.
“The loss of #DeborahDanner has rattled my core. Not only becuz of painful truth that we must continue to affirm that #BlackLivesMatter,” Washington wrote, adding:
“But also becuz #DeborahDanner was killed in the community where I was raised. Community filled w/people I know & love. So when I #sayhername.”
According to various reports, officers visited Danner at home after neighbors called 911 because she had been behaving erratically.
In response, Danner – who allegedly suffered from mental illness – charged one of the cops with a bat.
Both Mayor Bill de Blasio and NYPD Chief James O’Neill have condemned the gunfire and promised a thorough investigation.
“My heart aches. For lives lost and for the lives we must protect. For the humanity we must work to illuminate and preserve and affirm. #BLM,” Washington wrote.
In conclusion, she urged folks to go see the critically acclaimed film Moonlight, a coming-of-age film centered around LGBT issues.
“ALSO. Go see @moonlightmov this weekend. It is artful food for your soul. At a time when so many of us need to be lovingly nourished,” Washington urged, prior to ending her Tweets as follows:
“End of rant XOXOXOXOX.”
Yes, this is a Kerry Washington rant.

Kerry Washington: Pregnant with Baby #2!
Contrary to a handful of recent tabloid reports, Kerry Washington will not be hiring a divorce lawyer any time soon.
But she probably will be stopping by her OB-GYN’s office…
… because the actress is pregnant!!!!
Insiders have confirmed to E! News that Washington is expecting her second child with husband Nnamdi Asomugha, with the news going viral just a few hours before Washington is also expected to walk the red carpet tonight at the 2016 Met Gala.
In other words:
Keep your eyes peeled for a baby bump, readers! This is so exciting!
Washington and Asomugha have unfortunately been the subject of a few break-up rumors over the past several weeks.
Neither half of the famous couple has addressed this chatter, however, because both the Scandal Season 5 star and the former NFL star value their privacy.
There’s a reason you have not yet seen any photos of their daughter, Isabelle, on any supermarket magazine covers, for instance.
“I will say I feel really, really blessed,” Kerry told to the Los Angeles Times in one of her first interviews after welcoming her first child.
“I just feel really blessed that I’m kind of living extraordinary dreams come true in my work life and in my personal life.”
And while Washington has mostly remained quiet about life as a parent, her co-stars are more than happy to gush on her behalf.
Isn’t that, right, Tony Goldwyn?
“[Motherhood] has just made her more awesome than she was to begin with,” the actor told E! News in the past.
“She’s just so happy all the time as it does when you have a baby. It’s a magical time.”

Kerry Washington Slams Adweek for Photoshopped Cover
A scandal is brewing around the star of Scandal.
Kerry Washington is the latest celebrity to take a magazine to task for altering her appearance to an extreme degree via Photoshop.
In this case, the beloved actress is covering the latest issue of Adweek.
At least we think that’s Washington on the cover. It’s hard to say for certain.
“I have to be honest… I was taken aback by the cover,” Washington wrote on social media in response to the picture, adding:
“Look, I’m no stranger to Photoshopping. It happens a lot. In a way, we have become a society of picture adjusters – who doesn’t love a filter?!?
“And I don’t always take these adjustments to task but I have had the opportunity to address the impact of my altered image in the past and I think it’s a valuable conversation.”
In early March, Lena Dunham went off on a Spanish publication for the way in which it digitally altered a picture of her body on its cover.
Zendaya Coleman has also been open about how she wants to keep it real in all images.
“I just felt weary,” Washington added of seeing the photo above for the first time.
“It felt strange to look at a picture of myself that is so different from what I look like when I look in the mirror. It’s an unfortunate feeling.”
The actress, who we adore any time we watch Scandal online or on television, wanted to leave her rant on a positive note, however:
“That being said. You all have been very kind and supportive. Also, as I’ve said, I’m very proud of the article.”

Kerry Washington & Nnamdi Asomugha: Headed For Divorce?!
Back in 2013, Kerry Washington and Nnamdi Asomugha got married after a brief, secretive courtship.
Kerry and Nnamdi have been intensely private about their relationship from the start, but based on what little we know, they seemed to have one of the most stable relationships in Hollywood.
Now, however, In Touch is reporting that the couple is ready to call it quits after several months of escalating tension.
“Things have gotten so bad, Kerry and Nnamdi are barely talking,” says a source close to the couple. “They are like two strangers living under the same roof.”
“She’s already met with her attorney to start preparing,” the insider adds, noting that the two “are pretty much separated.”
Apparently, the biggest problem is the couple’s wildly different work schedules – namely, the fact that Kerry works and her husband doesn’t
Asomugha, 34, retired from the NFL in 2013, and has yet to embark on a new career.
Meanwhile, Washington frequently pulls 14-hour days on the set of Scandal.
Kerry gave birth to a baby girl in 2014, and despite the fact that he Nnamdi has considerably more time on his hands, Washington still handles the bulk of the child-rearing responsibilities.

There’s no doubt that the Emmys were AH-Mazing last night.
Between Amy Schumer winning, Game Of Thrones taking home a record amount of Emmys, and Tracy Morgan taking the stage, what was there NOT to love?
But there may have been one thing during the awards that stole the show — Apple Music’s commercial!
That’s because this particular commercial starred Taraji P. Henson, Kerry Washington, and Mary J. Blige as the ladies got together at Mary’s house to have a little dance party!
