Teen Mom OG Recap: Let"s Try That Again
This week on Teen Mom OG, Farrah helped Michael plan his proposal, while Catelynn freaked out again and Tyler became overwhelmed.
At the same time, Maci and Taylor celebrated their anniversary, but was a dark cloud hovering over the joyous occasion?
Perhaps most significantly, Teen Mom OG Season 5 Episode 9 began with a pregnancy reveal. How’s that for burying the lede?
Amber Portwood and Andrew Glennon confessed to the show’s producers and revealed that they were indeed expecting.
Since they don’t use birth control, so Amber said she wasn’t surprised it happened despite only knowing him for three months.
We don’t even know where to start with that.
Amber also revealed that she stopped taking her medication for bipolar disorder after meeting Glennon, as she no longer needs it.
He’s so much more positive than anyone she’s ever known, she says, so she can get by without the drugs, she now believes.
Andrew went on to say that he wasn’t looking for a relationship, but that “something gravitational” brought the couple together.
He admitted the idea of raising a baby makes him “slightly terrified” but at the same time this just “feels so right” with Portwood.
Meanwhile, Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra were gearing up to launch their clothing line, but that stressed Tyler out big time.
Between that, trying to finish their house and take care of his dad, he was running on fumes and suffering from low self-esteem.
In Italy, Farrah Abraham helped her father Michael propose to his girlfriend, with a poem that ended with a proposal (she said yes).
Even Farrah’s mom, Debra Danielsen, offered them congratulations and an engagement gift before they all went out to dinner.
Because she had to get in at least one good dose of drama per episode, Farrah said vacations are better without Deb’s fiancé.
Finally, Maci Bookout and Taylor McKinney were celebrating their anniversary when Amber told them she was pregnant via text.
The topic of more children then took over their dinner, with Maci telling her husband she wasn’t nuts about having another.
She said she’d like to adopt in a year or two, but right now, the idea of having another biological child feels a bit daunting to her.
Taylor feels at least somewhat more strongly about it, and Maci said that if he really wanted to, she’d do it, but ASAP please.
She also brought up the fact that they had miscarried earlier that year, something McKinney did not want to discuss on MTV.
They hadn’t yet told their families about this, but Maci felt it was important to have this conversation in front of their audience.

Kim Kardashian Lets Daughter Ride Motorcycle, Hear It from Twitter
Kim Kardashian has something in common with Audrey Roloff.
A hit reality television show and a close-knit family?
Okay, yes.
Allow us to therefore rephrase:
Kim Kardashian now has something else in common with Audrey Roloff:
With the Little People, Big World star receiving unfair backlash as a result of THIS PHOTO, Kardashian is now also the target of Internet ire after sharing a picture of her daughter.
It appears to be a relatively harmless one at first glance.
It was posted to Kim’s Instagram page and it featured North West riding a toy two-wheeler.
What’s the big deal, right?
North is four and a half years old and this is a perfectly common thing for her to be doing.
We mostly agree.
But we may be in the minority.
Many comments in response to this image call Kim out for two reasons:
- North is not wearing a helmet.
- North is wearing Harley Davidson sweatpants.
The latter, critics argue, implies that Kim and Kanye are maybe encouraging motorcycle riding as a hobby for their first born when she gets older.
This is a dangerous activity under any circumstance.
But it’s made even more dangerous if the individual behind the wheel (or clutching the handlebars, we suppose) isn’t donning a helmet.
“sriously, Kim?!?” writes on Twitter user. “Bike safety starts early. Put a helmet on ur kid!”
Another individual agrees:
“It’s not about looking cool,” this person Tweets of helmet use. “It’s about being safe.”
North was born back in June of 2013.
She was later joined by brother Saint and the siblings will welcome a boy or a girl either later this year or early next year, as Kim has confirmed she and her famous husband are using a surrogate to expand their family.
According to insiders, this surrogate will give birth right around Christmas.
Shortly after that, Khloe Kardashian will give birth to her first child…
…. and Kylie Jenner will give birth to her third child.
Crazy, right?
Little North will soon have lots of cousins and kids with whom to play, so it will be important for her to serve as a role model; when it comes to bike safety and other activities.

Corinne Olympios to Nick Viall: Want a Second Chance? Let"s Talk!
Corinne Olympios may not have won The Bachelor, but that’s not to say she is completely ruling out giving Nick Viall a second chance.
“If I saw him getting back to the way he was when I first stepped out of the limo, I would seriously consider giving him a chance,” the controversial contestant dished to Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday, October 24.
“I would meet up with him, have coffee, talk to him and see how he is. He just broke up with his fiancée; it can’t be easy,” she continued.
If you watch The Bachelor online, you will already know that Corinne put on quite the show for the cameras and was painted as the villain of the season.
While that may have been a good way to raise her profile, it resulted in her doing everything and anything to grab Nick’s attention, and it certainly seemed like she was more of a novelty for producers because she was giving them a lot of material to weave together.
Corinne was clipped before the end of the season, and Nick bid adieu to her after the hometown dates episode of the series. Corinne has been very public about her thoughts on being let go.
Simply put, she felt like Viall made a huge mistake, and with him and Vanessa Grimaldi calling their engagement off, maybe she was right.
“We clearly had strong chemistry, I was falling so hard, and I remember when he changed completely,” she told ET.
“I went up to him, cameras not rolling, and was like, ‘I just want to give you a hug before the night ends,’ which is something we normally did. He was like, ‘K, well, I’m gonna go give out this rose now.’
“I was like, ‘Whoa.’ It was a slap in the face, like, ‘I’m too busy for you right now.’ I don’t know why he got like that. … I feel like [in the beginning] I saw a different side of him than what [he] shows right now.”
Maybe Nick was just spoiled for choice on the set of the series. All of the women were vying for his attention, and while Corinne was a little out there, she was fun to watch.
It’s no surprise that she’s calling Nick out on his behavior because he was initially seen as a villain when he first appeared on The Bachelorette.
A lot of fans voiced their displeasure at his casting as The Bachelor because they felt like he had enough chances and there must be something wrong with him.
As for Corinne, she followed up The Bachelor with a stint on Bachelor in Paradise that almost got the show canceled.
She and DeMario Jackson had an alcohol-fueled romp in the pool, and it shut production down for days an investigation went on to establish who was at fault because Corinne alleged that she could not remember what happened.
That’s not to say she and DeMario fell out in the aftermath. In fact, they have been photographed together several times since the scandal rocked Bachelor Nation.

Amber Portwood to Farrah Abraham: Let"s Make Up!
Amber Portwood and Farrah Abraham have one of the most interesting relationships out of all the Teen Mom ladies.
And that’s probably because Amber tried to knock Farrah’s teeth out on national television.
These two women go way back, obviously — all the way back to when they were both 16 and Pregnant.
We can’t be sure of all the specifics, but we at least know they met during the reunion show for the first season of Teen Mom, and after that, they were friendly with each other.
There was actually a period of time, believe it or not, when they were close.
It’s hard to say exactly when that changed, but it was probably right around the time that that video was released where Catelynn Lowell referred to Farrah as a “ho bag.”
Amber was right beside Catelynn when that happened, and she didn’t exactly defend Farrah.
Then again, their issues could have began when Farrah called Amber up and tried to warn her about Matt Baier — remember, Amber didn’t seem too receptive to any criticism of her man.
No matter how very, very valid that criticism was.
But basically, they had a falling out, and things were tense between them before that fateful reunion show.
During her interview with Dr. Drew, Farrah made a comment that Matt looked like a pedophile, and that was enough for Amber to storm the stage and take a swing at her.
After that, they had traded insults through social media and interviews.
Farrah referred to Amber as “Miss Piggy,” Amber threatened to quit the show altogether.
It was a great era of Teen Mom drama, we won’t lie.
But for the past few months, their feud has seemed to die down a bit — after all, Amber’s probably been very busy with her messy Matt Baier breakup and finding a new creeper to love.
Which is good, really, when you think about it. They’ve both got enough going on in their lives without fighting with each other.
Except Amber just did a new interview with E! News, and she was asked about Farrah …
And what she has to say may actually shock you.
At first, she was asked why she “hates” Farrah, and she laughed and said “No!”, because she doesn’t hate her.
So she was asked why they don’t get along, and she explained that “She has a very strong mind and strong opinions, and so do I.”
“So I think it’s just natural for us to kind of clash.”
“Plus,” Amber added, “she’s crazy.”
Well, we can’t argue that.
“We used to be friends,” she continued, “but I don’t know what happened, I really don’t. She just kind of did things for publicity, honestly.”
“But I still love her to death. She knows that.”
When she’s asked if they’ll ever be friends again, Amber claimed that “I know that for me, I’m ready to let everything go,” but with Farrah, things have to be “on her terms.”
And for that reason, she said “I’m not really putting any effort into it or thinking about it.”
But just because Amber isn’t tight with Farrah doesn’t mean she’s not close to any other members of the Abraham clan!
You know how Debra Danielsen, Farrah’s mother, is getting married soon to that sketchy doctor?
Amber said that she was invited to the wedding, and she’s definitely going because she and Deb are “very close.”
Now that’s a spin-off the world deserves, right?
Hopefully, Farrah will see this little interview somehow, and instead of hitting back with a statement that makes no sense, she’ll actually think about it.
Maybe she can forgive Amber for everything, maybe they can go back to being the weird, trashy buddies they used to be.

Judge Judy Lets Dog Loose In Court: Find Out Why!
Judy Sheindlin has been laying down the law in the courtroom on Judge Judy since 1996, but a recent episode featured resolution that was a first for the iconic series.
The episode focused on two warring families as they each tried to claim ownership of a dog, and Judy had no idea who was telling the truth.
On one side, a woman was claiming that she purchased the dog legally and that it had become a fixture in her family.
But she bought the dog from someone on the street for $ 50 and seemed to think the whole thing was not out of the ordinary.
We"re not even kidding.
On the other side, a man claimed the dog in question was his and that he did not agree to sell the furry friend.
Thankfully, the dog was the brought into the courtroom and Judy demanded it be put down in the room to scurry towards its rightful owner.
“Put the dog down,” she yells.
In one of the cutest moments to hit the internet in recent memory, the dog makes a beeline for the man who claimed to be the rightful owner and does not leave him alone.
The man starts sobbing as he realizes he has finally been reunited with his dog.
“He does that to everybody,” the woman on the other side claims, but Judge Judy feels like the case is over, and the dog chose its owner.
“It’s his dog,” Judge Judy rules. “That’s all, take the dog home.”
It"s certainly a refreshing way to bring a case to a close, but was it the best course of action?
We were skeptical at first, but the reaction of the dog was astounding when he clocked the person claiming to be his original owner.
