Emoji Movie Mocks Handmaid’s Tale, Much to Twitter"s Chagrin
The Emoji Movie tells the story of a fictional city called Textopolis that is hidden inside of all smartphones.
Each emoji has only a single facial expression, except for Gene, an exuberant emoji with multiple expressions.
We won"t spoil the rest of the film for you, except to say that this really is the basis for an actual movie.
In promoting the unusual cartoon, producers Tweeted a photo of an emoji wearing the outfit of a main character from Hulu"s drama The Handmaid’s Tale… and Internet users were simply NOT having it.
Not when The Handmaid’s Tale centers on a totalitarian state that treats women as pieces of property.

Ariel Winter Poses in Daisy Dukes and Not Much Else!
Ariel Winter has served up all sorts of drop-dead gorgeous looks, especially recently. Whether we’re talking about Ariel Winter rocking a bikini or lounging like the world’s yummiest pizza topping, this young actress knows how to leave an impression.
Well, during a recent trip — to Canada, of all places! — she’s trying out a look that’s pretty different from what we’re used to seeing from her … but she’s still got that hotness.
We’d just never imagined Ariel Winter as a cowgirl, you know?
Ariel’s gotten some very unfair criticism over the years.
For her political statements and for having a body and the audacity to show it off however she deems fit.
Also for having an older boyfriend, even though she and Levi Meaden are both adults.
People have even accused Ariel Winter of giving Levi Meaden an allowance, which she of course shut down.
Despite all of this, she continues to have a great sense of humor — remember when Ariel made that post about getting crabs?
She’s a treasure.
And she also continues to share her gorgeous photos with the world.
Surely we can all agree that this is a good thing.
She attended an event called Stampede this week in Calgary — that’s in Alberta, Canada.
It turns out that weird farm animal hijinks aren’t exclusive to the American southwest.
Because it was basically some kind of big indoor rodeo thing.
Thus, the daisy dukes and the tan-colored lace-up bikini top.
Well — that wasn’t the uniform or anything, but when you combine that kind of setting with Ariel Winter …
… You get art is what you get.
Because she looks amazing.
She captioned this photo: “Startin’ off Stampede with my ol’ pal Jack.”
Before you freak out because she’s 19 and, gasp, drinking alcohol …
(Which surely no 19-year-old does, has ever done, or will ever do!)
… You should remember that she’s in Alberta, where the drinking age is 18.
There are some parts of Canada where the drinking age is higher — 19.
America’s hat … that is to say, Canada … has better weather, better healthcare, and more sensible if still-not-quite-there drinking laws.
Call us when their drinking age measures up to, say, Italy’s.
In any case, though, we’re glad that Ariel Winter got to take advantage and enjoy herself.

We suspect that attending Stampede wasn’t the main purpose of her visit to Alberta.
Levi Meaden’s mom, Chris, had a birthday and the young actor couple went up to celebrate.
One can only speculate at how meaningful it is for Ariel to have a good time with Levi’s family.
(Since Ariel’s mother is a nightmare, which is why Ariel became legally emancipated several years ago, when she was still a minor)
It’s so nice to see how far Ariel’s life has come from where it was, you know?

Kim Kardashian"s Makeup Line: She"ll Make HOW Much in Minutes?!
Kim Kardashian is launching her own makeup line, Kim Kardashian West Beauty.
Even though, as people have already pointed out, Kim’s business could compete with Kylie Cosmetics.
But now that we’ve seen how much money Kim is projected to make … we totally get it.
Women’s Wear Daily projects that Kim Kardashian’s first product will rake in $ 14.4 million within minutes.
Just about anybody would sell out their sibling’s business for that kind of cash, right?
We’re kidding. Ish.
So, Kim’s new line drops its first product, a cream for contouring and highlighting that comes in four shades, on June 21st,
That’s the Summer Solstice, so we hope that the conspiracy folks who think that every Halftime Show is an Illuminati ritual have fun with that.
Kim Kardashian West Beauty is expected to sell all 300,000 of these kits in under 5 minutes.
Since each of them cost $ 48 and math exists … you get $ 14.4 million.
Well, Kim and other profit participants get that much.
They’re not pulling these numbers out of nowhere, either.
Apparently, when Kylie Cosmetics released KKW by Kylie, it was basically just a test run for Kim’s own line.
Which had to be weird for both of them, right?
300,000 of these lip kits sold out in minutes, and were $ 45 each … generating over $ 13 million.
Based on that test run — literally imagine making that much on a test run, holy crap — they expect for Kim’s own products to sell at least as well for her own brand.
And remember that some people only go to Kylie Cosmetics because they adore Kylie.
There’s no telling how quickly Kim might sell out to her own fans.
Given that level of cooperation, it sounds like they might not be competing after all.
Kim, at least, would have us think so, because that’s what she told WWD.
“I am older than Kylie. We definitely have a different audience.”
That’s true. Kylie’s audience is, for the most part, people young enough that using Snapchat doesn’t make them feel like the cold hands of time are clutching at them and dragging them ever-closer to the grave.
They must think that it’s worth it to see Kylie pose in a sheer lacy bra that does nothing to hide her nip-nops.
Kim’s fans tend to be a little older — old enough that they can relate in some way to a woman who’s now a married mother of two.
“We do have a lot of similar things — but we aren’t doing the same products so we won’t run into that overlap.”
Kim Kardashian Beauty is supposed to just be concentrating on contouring and stuff instead of lip kits, but who knows how that might change?
Money changes people. Even when they’re already rich.
But Kim seems to thinkt hat it won’t be an issue.
“We’re really cautious of that. We work together to make sure that we don’t overlap like that.”
Keep your friends close and your sister closer, eh, Kylie?
We know that Kylie’s willing to go all-out to promote her products.
Usually that just means, you know, sexy pics with a caption here and there.
Kim’s has more experience at being a businesswoman — remember her video game? — and her brand is a little different.
But however she keeps people interested in her products over time, we’re sure that it’ll be hard to miss.
Maybe she and Kylie can both be makeup moguls.
We just hope that, with hundreds of thousands of women doing their makeup like Kim, Rob doesn’t bang any more Kim Kardashian lookalikes.

Tyga: My Life"s SO Much Better Without Kylie!
Tyga should really just be grateful that Kylie Jenner put up with him as long as she did, and that the world seems to have overlooked the fact that he was dating a minor when he was already old enough to rent a car.
Instead, it looks like he’s spending his time taking cheap shots at his ex.
What a class act.
That Instagram photo is almost fine on its own — well, except that Tyga’s in it — right?
Except that his caption, “Better Dayz,” seems like he’s bragging about how much “better” his life is since Kylie finally gave him the boot.
His spelling style’s unorthodox, but this is from a guy whose name is probably a reference to big cats (tigers) but sounds more like boreal forests (taiga).
It’s hard to look at his caption and see this as innocuous. If he were just having a good day, he’d surely have written “good dayz” or whatever.
“Better” implies that he had some not-so-good days, and he has to know that everyone will immediately think of Kylie.
This isn’t even the first time that he’s done this — remember that diss track?
Ugh. What a way to regard your ex.
Especially when she’s the only reason that anyone knows who you are.
After it felt like Kylie had been dating Tyga for decades (really just 18 months — Kylie hasn’t even been alive for decades, yet), the couple that just couldn’t quit each other finally split.
Speculation on the reasons for the breakup varied, from Kylie having grown as a person to her finally putting her foot down over how much advantage he was taking of her finances.
All of that sounds believable, to be honest.
And then there was the creepy age difference.
And the family drama with Tyga having a son came close to becoming Rob Kardashians’ stepson.
Basically, there was every possible reason for their breakup to end.
And if you ever have doubts over whether or not you did the right thing, look for your ex lashing out at you on social media and then never look back.
Kylie’s moved on with Travis Scott, and the two are even rumored to have secretly married.
It’s admittedly kind of hard to imagine that.
Not because Kylie’s so wise and mature, but because it’s hard to picture something like that slipping past the all-seeing eye of Kris Jenner.
While Travis Scott isn’t exactly a class act himself — remember when he grossly compared Kylie and Kendall’s bedroom skills? — he is, at least, not Tyga.
The fact that we feel relief that Kylie’s dating him just means that she’s set the relationship bar so, so low for herself.
Hopefully, whenever her relationship with Travis ends — and it will, because all relationships end and also she’s still just 19 — Travis won’t use the fame that she gave him take cheap shots at her over Instagram.
Like, Kylie can really rub you the wrong way sometimes, but nobody deserves to be torn down by someone they used to love.
Not even one of the Kardashians.

Teen Mom OG Trailer: SO MUCH HEARTACHE!
Great news for those of us who enjoy keeping up with that ragtag group of ladies who got pregnant at the tender age at 16 and then found themselves on MTV years afterward.
Which is to say, great news for Teen Mom fans!
Teen Mom OG premieres its brand new season on Monday, and to celebrate, they"ve released one more supertease to get us all pumped and ready for it.
And it"s safe to say that, as usual, there"s heaps and heaps of drama coming our way soon.
The trailer starts off with some sweet, funny moments — Catelynn and Tyler"s daughter celebrating her second birthday, Amber embarrassing her kid in her new Corvette.
We get to see Ryan Edwards propose to his girlfriend, Mackenzie Standifer, and he didn"t even look high while doing it!
It all looks so nice, but that"s how they get you. Ryan"s proposal leads into some heavy drama between Maci and Ryan"s family.
Maci tells a friend that "When it comes to Bentley," Ryan"s parents are "selfish" … then we see Ryan"s father getting angry and exclaiming "We don"t need her freakin" opinion!"
Then we cut to Butch, Tyler"s troubled father, talking about starting his day off with several lines of cocaine.
Speaking of Tyler, it seems like we"re going to see more relationship issues between him and Catelynn. Lots more.
In one heartbreaking scene, he asks her "Do you believe that I"m not going to leave you?"
Amber, meanwhile, is planning her wedding to professional creeper Matt Baier. She looks at venues and at wedding dresses, before informing one of her friends that "You can love each other and want to be with each other for the rest of your life and still not trust each other."
Yeah, maybe pray about that one a little bit, girl.
Farrah is up to her usual antics, yelling at her parents for no real reason. That"s about it with her.
We also get to see Amber, Catelynn, and Maci, along with their significant others, take that big trip to Puerto Rico!
It looks fun, but this is Teen Mom — you know the fun gives way to sadness real quick.
"We"ve been together for 11 years," Catelynn tells Amber of Tyler, "and it"s f-cking stressful, and we got on each other"s f-cking nerves and I want to leave and I cry "cause he hurts my feelings."
Later, Maci cries to the girls about how she"s "tired of dealing with the sh-t, wondering if today"s going to be the day that he does something he can"t come back from."
Is she talking about new husband Taylor McKinney? The deadbeat-ish dad of her first son, Ryan Edwards? Or someone else entirely.
It"s hard to say, but it looks like there"s trouble in paradise. Literally.

Briana DeJesus: Earning HOW MUCH For Teen Mom 2?
Last week, rumors that Briana DeJesus is joining the cast of Teen Mom 2 began to circulate online.
The network still hasn’t confirmed the decision that the Teen Mom 3 alum will be making the leap to TM2, but they also have yet to deny it.
Couple that with the fact that the show’s current stars are openly pissed about the addition of DeJesus, and it becomes pretty apparent that the whole thing is a done deal.
And just what are the other moms so angry about?
Well, one of them has already feuded with DeJesus on social media. (Yes, it was Jenelle.)
But mostly it seems their irritation boils down to two issues: salary and screen time.
The ladies are reportedly concerned that the presence of DeJesus will cut into their time on camera, and they’re almost certainly right about that.
After all, there’s only so much that can be crammed into a 60-minute runtime, and the cast, like many fans, are said to be confused, as they believed that the show was already dense with drama.
The most likely explanation for why producers felt the need for some new blood is that they feel said drama is growing stale and the show is becoming less relatable now that the ladies are all loaded.
(They’ve all been raking in $ 300,000 per episode for the past several seasons.)
Speaking of salary, Briana won’t be earning nearly as much as Jenelle, Kailyn, and company, but the ladies are reportedly irate about how much she is making.
According to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, Briana will earn $ 20,000 per episode, a mere fraction of what her co-stars are making, but still too much, according to some.
The ladies argue that they didn’t make that much until their second season on the show, so it’s unfair to pay Briana that much for her first.
Producers reason that Briana already did one tour of duty on a Teen Mom series, and thus earned the raise.
The Ashley also reports that Briana won the job over former TM3 star Mackenzie McKee and 16 and Pregnant alum Lindsey Harrison, both of whom were determined to be just too stable to provide consistent drama.
Take note kids: sometimes, being a trainwreck can pay off in a big way.
Actually, pretty much only when you’re trying to be cast on a reality show.

Bill O"Reilly Paid HOW MUCH to Settle Sexual Harassment Claims?!?
Bill O’Reilly is in trouble with a handful of women.
And, for a change, not one of them is Beyonce.
On Saturday, The New York Times reported that O’Reilly has settled five different claims from women over the years, each allegation rooted in some form of sexual harassment.
According to the newspaper, the women received payouts that totaled $ 13 million in exchange for NOT pursuing litigation or speaking out in public against O’Reilly.
The payouts either came from O’Reilly, Fox News or a combination of the anchor and the network.
Two of these settlements took place after the former chairman of Fox News, Roger Ailes, was forced to resign last July in the wake of his own sexual harassment scandal.
After numerous complaints were lodged in public against Ailes, the company said it did not tolerate behavior that “disrespects women or contributes to an uncomfortable work environment.”
Based on the Times article, all five women who made allegations against O’Reilly either worked for the long-time reporter or appeared on his primetime program.
They complained about a such behavior as:
- Verbal abuse.
- Lewd comments.
- Unwanted sexual advances.
- Phone calls in which it sounded as if O’Reilly was masturbating, according to documents and interviews.
For real. We’re not making that last bullet point up.
One of the five lawsuits centered on ex-producer Andrea Mackris; made headlines in 2004.
Another lawsuit involved Fox News employee Juliet Huddy and was first reported in January.
The other three claims had not been known until this time.
A sixth woman, Dr. Wendy Walsh, told The New York Times that she turned down O’Reilly’s advances and he later didn’t follow through on an offer to make her a network contributor.
In a release, attorney Lisa Bloom said Walsh will speak out at a press conference Monday in Los Angeles and they “will reveal their new demands to the network.”
Bloom also compared O’Reilly to another famous figure while talking to CNN on Sunday.
She said the many allegations against him and the way in which they were swept under the rug reminded her of Bill Cosby.
“How many women have to come forward?” Bloom asked on CNN’s “Reliable Sources.” “How many millions of dollars have to get paid before Fox News takes sexual harassment seriously?”
Referencing Cosby, the formerly beloved comedian who has been accused of drugging and raping dozens of women, Bloom added:
“In my opinion, this network is the Bill Cosby of corporate America. Women over and over again are driven out.”
The issues surrounding O’Reilly are similar to the sexual harassment charges against Ailes.
Overall, ugly rumors regarding the treatment of women at Fox News have been permeating for years.
Former network host Andrea Tantaros, for example, is suing Ailes and top executives at Fox News, which she compared to a “Playboy Mansion-Like Cult.”
Both Gretchen Carlson and Megyn Kelly have left the network in recent years, both having claimed they were mistreated by executives there.
The O’Reilly Factor garners nearly four million viewers each night.
It is the most-watched show on cable news and has brought in more than $ 446 million in advertising revenue from 2014 to 2016, according to The New York Times.
“Just like other prominent and controversial people, I’m vulnerable to lawsuits from individuals who want me to pay them to avoid negative publicity,” O’Reilly said in a statement on his website in response to these allegations.
He concluded as follows:
“In my more than 20 years at Fox News Channel, no one has ever filed a complaint about me with the Human Resources Department, even on the anonymous hotline.”
