Audrina Patridge Accused by Ex of Exploiting Daughter for The Hills!

The Hills are alive — or they’re going to be, because The Hills: New Beginnings is a real thing that is happening.

Audrina Patridge has confirmed that she will be part of the revival of the groundbreaking reality series. But her ex Corey Bohan is making demands.

He has now taken to social media to insist that their daughter have no part in the show.

Audrina and Corey split up just about one year ago, and there were upsetting reports that Corey Bohan was emotionally and even physically abusive with her, prompting her filing a restraining order.

Corey was also accused of being unable to control his behavior, including outbursts and obscenities, in the presence of their very young daughter.

But now that The Hills is making its comeback, Corey has decided that the real menace to his family is … reality television.

Corey’s Instagram is now set to private, but the good folks over at The Ashley got their hands on a message that he shared with his followers.

In his Instagram post, Corey blasts reality television as exploitative, and seems to think that merely being on camera would harm his daughter.

corey bohan instagram post slamming the hills

In white letters on a black background, Corey says that if he gets his way, his daughter will never be part of The Hills: New Beginnings.

“I refuse to think it’s ok for our 2yr old daughter Kirra Bohan to be shown & exploited on reality TV,” Corey writes.

For the record, the show has not yet begun filming, and it’s unclear whose children, if any, will appear on screen.

“Not just my child,” Corey continues. “But anyone’s for that matter.”

Most assume that Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag’s baby will get some airtime. It looks like he’s eager to throw shade in multiple directions.

Corey’s post continues.

“I stand up for what I believe in,” Corey insists.

Though he appears to be questioning the parenting judgment of a whole lot of people, he claims that he’s not taking a shot at anyone.

Corey writes: “This post isn’t an attack or negative rant.”

“This,” Corey proclaims. “Is about our daughter Kirra Bohan.”

Contrary to what the BMX rider might fear, Audrina isn’t strutting Kirra out in front of anybody’s cameras just yet.

“They haven’t even started filming the show yet,” a source tells People.

Additionally, the insider shares that “Audrina hasn’t made any final decisions about whether Kirra will appear.”

As far as things with her ex go, Audrina “just wants things to be okay.”

That is a very understandable feeling. But we’re not sure if she’s going to get her wish.

We don’t mean to sound like we’re accusing Corey Bohan of planning ahead, but it sounds like he may be laying the groundwork for his next custody battle.

See, because of Corey’s alleged behavior towards her and around their daughter, some of which was in public, Audrina has sole custody.

Corey clearly does not like that, and he may plan to use “reality television harms children” or “she’s using our baby for cash” as an argument in court.

That is just a guess, however. We of course cannot speak with certainty of Corey’s motivations or intentions.

It may be that he just wanted to lash out online.

David Cassidy Dies; Singer and Former Patridge Family Star Was 67

David Cassidy, the popular folk singer and former star of The Patridge Family, passed away today at a hospital in Florida.

He was 67 years old.

Said the star’s family via statement tonight:

On behalf of the entire Cassidy family, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, our uncle, and our dear brother, David Cassidy.

David died surrounded by those he loved, with joy in his heart and free from the pain that had gripped him for so long.

Thank you for the abundance and support you have shown him these many years.”

The artist was rushed to said hospital late last week due to organ failure, with multiple outlets writing that he required a near-immediate kidney transplant to survive.

He was initially placed in a medically-induced coma, although sources said he was later drifting in and out of consciousness before the end arrived.

Cassidy was moved to the intensive care unit on Sunday as his condition worsened.

Cassidy rose to fame as Keith Patridge, the son of Shirley Partridge, on the beloved 1970s sitcom The Partridge Family.

The series centered on a family of musicians and propelled David to teenage superstardom.

He was one of the most popular singers in the country forty-plus years ago; you could almost refer to him as the Justin Bieber of his era, considering his fame among young women at the time.

Cassidy later enjoyed a career in both acting and music, only recently retiring from the entertainment field.

Throughout his career, however, Cassidy struggled with alcohol abuse issues that resulted in drunk driving arrests in 2010, 2013 and 2014, along with a stint in rehab.

He filed for bankruptcy in 2015.

In February of this year, Cassidy also opened up about his battle with dementia.

“I was in denial, but a part of me always knew this was coming,” Cassidy told People Magazine, shortly after he forgot lyrics to a few songs during a live performance in California.

He told the publication that his mother also struggled with this tragic mental disorder.

It was due to this diagnosis that Cassidy stopped going on tour.

“I want to focus on what I am, who I am and how I’ve been without any distractions,” Cassidy said several months ago, adding;

“I want to love. I want to enjoy life.”

Insiders say Cassidy was surrounded by loved ones when he passed away.

The late star appeared on The Partridge Family for four years alongside Danny Bonaduce, who released the following statement back when Cassidy confessed to his dementia:

“David Cassidy once had a bigger fan club than Elvis & the Beatles. If you’re a fan, now is a great time to send him your love & best wishes.”

The same now applies in the wake of Cassidy’s death, in regard to the singer/actor’s friends, family members and loved ones.

May David Cassidy rest in peace.

Audrina Patridge, Corey Bohan Accuse Each Other After NEW Incident!

When news first broke that former The Hills stars Audrina Patridge and Corey Bohan had split, some despaired. Others saw it as confirmation that reality TV couples just can’t last.

It was the abuse accusations that Audrina has leveled against Corey that has people much more concerned.

We were understandably alarmed to hear that there’s been a new incident, but Audrina and Corey are telling very different stories.

Audrina Patridge’s abuse claims against Corey Bohan are, frankly, disturbing.

Corey is accused of primarily emotional abuse, displaying anger issues and instability that at the very least make him a potential danger to himself.

According to Audrina, he has even shoved her while she was holding their baby daughter, Kirra.

Corey has reportedly also done things like empty out Audrina’s purse and harm himself in her presence, effectively blackmailing her into staying with him or he’ll “do worse.”

Based upon that, a divorce sounds like absolutely the right call.

They were together for 9 years and got married last November, so we are anxious to know if this had been going on in a gradually escalating manner all along … or if this is an altogether new behavior that manifested since they were married.

We wonder if there’s some newly emerged medical issue that could be driving this … but either way, this couple shouldn’t be together.

Unfortunately, when you’ve been an item for almost an entire decade, it’s difficult to extricate yourselves from each other’s lives.

For example, they’ve been living in the same house … which is what brought them into conflict.

Thus, this new incident.

Entertainment Tonight obtained court documents that show both Audrina and Corey’s versions of what happened.

What they can both agree on?

Audrina and her father, Mark, returned to Audrina’s home in Irvine, California with the intention of collecting Audrina’s belongings.

Within the court documents, Audrina alleges that Corey is “holding all of my personal possessions and my home hostage.”

Audrina has stated that the house in which the couple lived was hers prior to their marriage.

More than that, the two apparently have a prenup agreement that confirms that yes, Audrina is the sole owner of the house and will remain that.

But, presumably because she is the one who fled from the home with Kirra and took up temporary residence at the home of her parents, a judge denied Audrina’s request to have Corey removed from her house.

(Which sounds super unfair, but I imagine that laws are structured to make it difficult for one spouse to render the other homeless during a dispute — just a guess, though)

When Audrina went with her parents, Corey allegedly cursed her out — part of a pattern that she has described in which he uses expletives and yells and cannot seem to keep from doing so in front of their baby.

Audrina also accuses Corey of having installed additional surveillance devices in her house.

(If you’ll recall, Audrina’s initial claims when they split and she sought a restraining order mentioned that part of Corey’s emotional abuse involved installing cameras in their home that he used to spy on her)

She is once again imploring the court to remove Corey from her home.

Corey’s side claims that Audrina and her family “literally barging in the house through the garage door” with only 15 minutes of notice.

He says that he’d asked them to arrange a time when he wouldn’t be there.

He claims that he hasn’t installed any new surveillance devices, that the only cameras are a nanny cam in the living room and a camera by the front door.

Corey claims that he did not yell or curse but merely “spoke calmly” to the Patridges, and says that Audrina’s father, Mark, was trying to instigate a fight.

No matter what you believe about this couple and their conflicts, no part of this sounds good.

Audrina Patridge Details Horrific Abuse Claims Against Corey Bohan

The Audrina Patridge-Corey Bohan divorce has quickly taken a turn for the very ugly.

Earlier today, we reported that the former Hills stars were splitting after nearly a year of marriage and nearly nine years of being together overall.

We weren’t sure why.

We thought maybe becoming parents to a little girl naked Kirra last June had placed a strain on their marriage.

It turns out, however, that the reason is far more troubling and insidious.

On Monday, September 18, Patridge was granted a restraining order against Bohan for what a source describes to People Magazine as ongoing instances of “emotional abuse.”

More specifically and most troubling, there was an incident in mid-April, legal documents claim, during which Audrina says Corey shoved her while she was holding Kirra in her arms.

The couple was arguing about Bohan’s alleged infidelity when he proceeded to empty out her purse and punch himself in the head, threatening to do even more damage if she left him.

This was the second time in a few weeks, Patridge claims, that Bohan had talked of suicide.

She also references an incident on September 6, saying Bohan started calling her names and harassing her after she returned home.

“Grow some balls and pull the trigger and file for divorce,” Bohan supposedly yelled at her at the time, prompting Patridge to call the police and file a report.

Just over a week later, child protective services came to the residence to meet with her.

This past weekend, Bohan showed up for a panel discussion Patridge was taking part in… followed her on stage … and demanded to know their daughter’s whereabouts.

“I was shaking at this point,” Audrina says in her legal documents.

She asked for a restraining order the next day.

HOWEVER, Bohan allegedly showed up on September 19 and refused to leave Audrina’s home.

He installed five video cameras around the premises to keep tabs on her and called her a “f-cking cunt.”

“I am fearful of [Corey’s] temper because he cannot control his swearing and personal attacks on me, even when in the presence of our young daughter,” writes Audrina.

The restraining order requires Bohan to remain at least 100 feet away from his estranged wife, his daughter and even his dog.

As for the divorce, Patridge is demanding primary physical and legal custody of 15-month-old Kirra.

She is asking a judge to shut Bohan down if he asks for spousal support.

And, finally, she wants an order specifically prohibiting Bohan from taking Kirra to his native land of Australia.

Talk about a terrible ending to what had appeared to have been a stable love story.

Patridge and Bohan had been together since 2008, remaining close even throughout filming of The Hills, an unusual development for couples that appear on reality television.

Alas, the relationship has ended on the most sour of notes.

For the sake of their young daughter, let’s hope Audrina and Corey find a way to work this out as amicably as possible.

Audrina Patridge and Corey Bohan: It"s Over!

For Audrina Patridge, The Hills are no longer alive with the sound of true love.

Terrible puns aside, the truth of this unfortunate matter remains:

The former MTV star has filed for divorce from husband Corey Bohan.

The couple got married in November in Hawaii, finally making their relationship legal after many, many years together. Approximately eight, to be exact.

Patridge and Bohan are the parents to a little girl named Kira, who was born in June of 2016 and who will remain the priority for both halves of this now-former romance going forward.

“Audrina’s No. 1 priority is her daughter and she asks for privacy at this time,” Patridge’s rep told Entertainment Tonight in a statement.

Exactly.

A united front ever since The Hills was a major hit on MTV, Patridge and Bohan appeared to be an exception to the rule that most couples who get together on reality television eventually fall apart.

Back in December, Audrina talked to Entertainment Tonight about how she and Bohan planned to avoid a break up.

“We’ve been through all those pitfalls, I feel like, before we got married,” she said at the time, explaining:

“We experienced the reality side of it, the made-up stories in the tabloids, other people trying to get in between us and the gossip and the rumors…

“I feel like we are so grounded now and we have each other’s backs no matter what… people can’t just try to come in between us and tell us lies. It’s like, ‘No, that’s not true.’”

So, what went wrong?

We may never know exactly.

But in this same ET interview, Patridge did say that having a young child at home was a strain on the pair’s marriage.

“It’s been hard… we haven’t really been on a date just him and I since we had the baby,” Patridge said, adding:

“We have a calendar now… and it’s really nice because I’ll give Kirra a bath every night and get her ready for bed and put her to sleep and he’ll cook us dinner, so there’s a balance.”

It can be difficult to find time for romance when a couple also must find time (A LOT of time!) for a tiny human being at home.

Whatever the cause of their split, we wish Audrina and Corey the very best in the future.

UPDATE: Audrina reportedly filed for a restraining order as well, following an accusation of domestic violence against Bohan.

YIKES!

Audrina Patridge and Corey Bohan: Married!

The Hills are officially alive with the sound of wedding bells.

In a manner of speaking, that is.

Audrina Patridge and Corey Bohan got married on Saturday in Hawaii, exchanging vows after many years of dating.

E! News was the first outlet to confirm this very happy news.

According to that website’s sources, Patridge and Bohan became husband and wife while surrounded by approximately 100 friends, family members and loved ones.

They were together for eight years prior to making the relationship legal.

In June, Patridge gave birth to the couple’s first child, a precious little girl named Kirra.

In photos obtained by E! News, you can see the ex-The Hills star wearing a beautiful llace gown, while looking gorgeous with a red flower tucked behind her ear.

Bohan, meanwhile, went with your basic white dress shirt, khaki pants and suspenders.

We also know that Patridge walked down the aisle with a long train and bouquet of flowers in her hand.

Not long before her big day, Patridge wrote on Instagram that she had joined her two sisters for an impromptu celebration in Las Vegas.

“Yesterday my sisters kid napped me and took me to Vegas for a spa evening and a Britney Spears kind of night!” the bride-to-be wrote on social media, adding of her siblings:

“You guys are the best!!!”

Did anyone from the series that made Patridge famous make the final guest list?

No.

“We just finalized the guest list, and it’s about 130 people, mostly family,” the quasi celebrity told Fit Pregnancy and Baby in June, explaining:

“As far as friends go, we only invited the ones who’ve been there for us in the past year and who will continue to be there for us for the next 30.

“So, no one from The Hills made the cut. If we were doing a really big wedding, I’d invite them, but we’re keeping it intimate.”

That may sound like a diss, but it’s really just Patridge being honest and realistic.

The Hills was a mammoth hit for MTV, but none of the cast members has remained especially close.

On more than one occasion, Lauren Conrad and others have come out and admitted that so many storylines were contrived, so much of the filming was staged.

Everyone who rose to fame as a result of their role on the show has moved on.

Patridge and Bohan got engaged in November of last year in Orange County.

“Corey dropped to his knee and said, ‘We have been together for many years now and I love you more than anything. I want to spend the rest of my life with you – will you marry me?’” Audrina told People Magazine at the time.

“I was in shock and kind of didn’t even hear him, but I said yes!”

And now she said “I Do!”

We send our best wishes to this couple.
