Nun Fires Perfect First Pitch Strike, Leaves Internet in Awe
It"s official.
In case there was any doubt before, all debate has now been put to rest:
Sister Mary Jo Sobieck of Marian Catholic High School in Chicago is a better pitcher than 50 Cent.
As proven in THIS CLIP, the rapper is on record as having thrown the worst first pitch in Major League Baseball history.
So, in that sense, the perfect strike tossed by Sister Mary in the video featured here did not have a high bar to clear in order to be placed higher than 50 Cent"s attempt many years ago.
But this awe-inspiring nun didn"t just head out to the mound on Saturday and barely manage to get the baseball over the plate.
No.
First, she did a little trick with the ball in her hand and then she threw what can just be described as an ideal 12-6 curveball, one that would have fooled even Aaron Judge or Mike Trout.
It floated right down into the catcher"s mitt in the heart of the strike zone when all was said, done and applauded.
Sister Mary was called upon to make this ceremonial first pitch in Chicago, prior to yet another White Sox loss.
They fell to the Royals by a score of 3-1 after the nun left the mound.
With a record of 45-77, it"s pretty clear the White Sox could use Mary Jo Sobieck on their roster.
Maybe not as a starter. Her arm might lack the stamina to go six or seven innings.
But as a late-inning reliever?
Someone to come in for a batter or two and disrupt the opposing team"s rhythm?
Someone ordained by God, no less?!?
Sign her up, Sox!

Jenelle Evans: Screw You, MTV! I"m On Strike!
Somehow, despite basically daring them to give her the ax on a daily basis, Jenelle Evans has not been fired by MTV.
But that doesn’t mean the Carolina Hurricane is getting along with her bosses.
In fact, production insiders say Jenelle is refusing to film yet again, this time opting out of the annual Teen Mom 2 reunion show, which has historically served as the season’s dramatic highlight.
According to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, Jenelle is not planning to attend the reunion taping, which is scheduled to take place in New York City this weekend.
The problem, it seems, is that Evans hit MTV with a list of demands, and since this is a work event and not a hostage situation, the network didn’t even consider giving in.
“MTV has refused to give in to any her demands in regard to the reunion,” a production insider tells The Ashley.
“Jenelle wanted them to pay for David [Eason]‘s entire trip– travel and expenses– even though he’s not allowed on the set,” the source adds.
“When [the producers] refused to agree to pay for David, Jenelle said she’s not coming. This has been going on for a long time, them battling back and forth, and MTV refused to budge.”
The source adds that just everyone involved with the show is hoping that network execs will hold firm in their refusal to kowtow to Jenelle:
“Hopefully they hold their ground for once,” says the insider.
As for how Evans’ absence will be addressed on the show, producers are reportedly unconcerned:
“Right now, the plan is to not really even explain Jenelle’s absence, and just have Dr. Drew state that Jenelle was ‘unable to be with us’ or something, so that they don’t have to lie and go into too much detail,” says one source.
“Everything is being set up on the set as if she’s not coming, because it’s super unlikely that she’s changing her mind at this point,”
In all likelihood, the cast and crew of Teen Mom 2 are probably thrilled that Jenelle won’t be in attendance.
After all, it was at last year’s reunion show that David Eason drunkenly stabbed a bunch of balloons, thus terrifying all those in attendance, including the young children of several cast members.
And it seems that if Jenelle thinks her absence from the reunion show will have producers scrambling to meet her demands, she’s got another thing coming.
“Even with Jenelle absent, there is still a ton of tension between the other girls and Briana, and between other cast members so for this reunion, every girl is going to have their own dressing area/green room area,” one source tells The Ashley.
“Everyone is worried that fights could break out again, and things could even turn physical.

Janelle Monae Encourages Global Sex Strike, Believes "Respect" for "The Vagina" Has Been Lost
Janelle Monae has a way with words.
But, if it were up to the singer and actress, no man on the planet would have his way with the body of any woman until society undergoes some much-needed changes.
In a cover story of this month’s issue of Marie Claire, the Hidden Figures star makes quite the bold statement:
She encourages those who share her gender to withhold their most private part from members of the opposite gender as a form of protest.
“People have to start respecting the vagina,” Monae told Marie Claire, explaining:
“Until every man is fighting for our rights, we should consider stopping having sex. I love men. But evil men? I will not tolerate that. You don’t deserve to be in my presence.”
This would explain why Melania Trump has not slept with Donald Trump in about a decade.
In all seriousness, however, this idea may sound ludicrous.
But if ALL women around the globe really did agree to close their legs for ALL men… you just know there would be equal pay laws on every book in about two-and-a-half days.
Monae acknowledges the facts.
She talks openly about the lack of female leadership around the country.
She figures that if voters won’t put a woman in the White House, for example, then women themselves need to take their own kind of unique stance in order to demand change.
“If you’re going to own this world and this is how you’re going to rule this world, I am not going to contribute anymore until you change it,” she says, addressing men in power and adding:
“We have to realize our power and our magic. Because I am all about black-girl magic, even though I’m standing with all women. But this year?
“This year, I am so carefree black girl.”
Monae also elaborated on what “sexy” means in her view, stressing the significance of embracing one’s individuality.
“Women automatically are told that this is how you should look. This is how you should get a man. This is how you should get a woman,” she told the magazine.
“You need to fit into all these boxes to be accepted. I don’t subscribe to that way of thinking. I don’t think we all have to take the same coordinates to reach the same destination.
“I believe in embracing what makes you unique even if it makes others uncomfortable.”
Amen, right?!?
In closing, the actress reminded readers just how important it is to stay true to themselves.
“I believe in embracing what makes you unique even if it makes others uncomfortable. I have learned there is power in saying no. I have agency. I get to decide.”
And, if it’s up to Monae, men won’t get to decide on the next time they have sex until they take a long, hard look in the mirror and realize:
I’ll never get long and hard in bed again unless I do some things differently!
