Donald Trump Fires Off Dumb Tweets About Global Warming & Vanity Fair, Gets Savagely Roasted
Look, we understand that headline’s not gonna please anyone.
Either you’re a dyed-in-the-wool #MAGA ass and you came here just to deride us as a bunch of libtard cuck-flakes in the comments, or you’re part of the majority of Americans who wishes the president would stop tweeting entirely, in which case, you probably think we didn’t go nearly far enough.
But hey, our New Year’s resolution is to piss off as many people as many people as possible, and we decided to get an early start!
We kid, of course.
Resolving to offend people in 2018 is like resolving to breathe in and out. It’s gonna happen no matter what, and it doesn’t require any active effort.
For evidence of just how easy it is to piss off tens of millions of people these days, you need look no further than the tweets of America’s P-ssy-Grabber-In-Chief, Captain Offensive Pants.
No doubt still clad in a Trump Hotel bathrobe, the president frequently outrages half the planet before he’s even dropped his morning Big Mac deuce.
While our more heathen-y presidents may have taken the holidays off in order to drink Starbucks and slaughter a virgin, the Trump Train kept right on rolling!
By which we mean the 71-year-old leader of the free world spent the season of peace talking enough trash on social media to shame a recently-dumped middle school girl or a butthurt Star Wars fan.
And who were the Donald’s targets this time around?
Well, there was Vanity Fair, which committed the grievous offense of cracking jokes about a woman Donald once threatened to imprison, and then there was planet Earth, which has apparently pissed Trump off by continuing to exist despite his apocalyptic environmental policies.
First, some context:
In case you haven’t heard, it’s effing cold in the northeast. Like, even by “winter in the northeast” standards.
Someone told this to Donald, and his response was apparently to crack his knuckles and start sticking it to the libs:
“In the East, it could be the COLDEST New Year’s Eve on record. Perhaps we could use a little bit of that good old Global Warming that our Country, but not other countries, was going to pay TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS to protect against. Bundle up!”
Now, hopefully, we don’t have to tell you that’s a dumb thing to say or point out that weather and climate are not the same thing.
A cold day isn’t an indication that the planet is stable anymore than a single hot day is evidence that it’s heating up.
The world’s scientists are concerned due to data collected over several decades which indicates a disturbing trend toward hotter … ya know what? Let’s just move on to less-terrifying idiocy…
As you may have heard, there was controversy this week over a video posted by Vanity Fair, in which several staffers expressed their 100 percent-justified belief that Hillary Clinton should probably step away from the political arena for the foreseeable future.
The situation outraged the president, not because of the content of the clip, but because VF dared to issue an apology for the sake of those who found the video offensive.
“Vanity Fair, which looks like it is on its last legs, is bending over backwards in apologizing for the minor hit they took at Crooked H. Anna Wintour, who was all set to be Amb to Court of St James’s & a big fundraiser for CH, is beside herself in grief & begging for forgiveness!” Trump tweeted.
Never mind that our commander-in-chief is still devoting his days to picking petty fights with various media outlets, Anna Wintour is the editor of Vogue, not Vanity Fair.
Sure, they both star with “V,” but if we Donald off easy on this one, next week he’ll be referring to Justin Trudeau as the prime minister of Cambodia.
Needless to say, Trump was roasted to a crisp over both tweets, but sadly seeing our president get savagely corn-cobbed by the entirety of Twitter is one of the many things we’ve been forced to get used to in 2017.

Piers Morgan Slams Emily Ratajkowski as "Global Bimbo," Gets OWNED by Model
Piers Morgan has chosen the wrong woman to go after.
And definitely the wrong time during which to do it.
To open today’s broadcast of Good Morning Britain, Piers Morgan set his sights on Emily Ratajkowski and the model’s latest risque photo shoot.
It was for Love Magazine and it featured Ratajkowski wearing more strands of spaghetti than layers of clothing.
And Morgan simply was NOT having it!
“I don’t know quite what she is. She’s a global bimbo,” Morgan said bluntly on air, adding:
“She’s posted something on Instagram about how what we are watching now is unbelievably empowering to feminists…
“For goodness sake – get some clothes on and get yourself a proper job.
On Twitter, meanwhile, Morgan shared a collage of images from the pictorial in question and wrote:
“This is Emily Ratajkowski ‘promoting feminism’. Somewhere, Emmeline Pankhurst just vomited.”
For the record, Ratajkowski never said a word about this particular shoot “promoting feminism,” as Morgan asserts.
But she has wondered in the past why there’s a double standard applied to beautiful women… versus men or more average looking women.
“When Lena Dunham takes her clothes off, she gets flak, but it’s also considered brave,” Ratajkowski previously told Harper’s Bazaar.
“When Justin Bieber takes his shirt off, he’s a grown-up. But when a woman who is sexual takes off her top, it plays into something.”
Ratajkowski seems to be missing the general critique about her: that she is only known for posing nearly naked, while the other stars she cites above rely on their talent to earn fortune and fame.
Yet Ratajkowski does not miss the mark in any way, shape or form in responding to Morgan’s harsh criticism.
She totally owns the smarmy anchor.
“Lol never said my love video was a feminist statement,” Ratajkowski Tweeted in response, elaborating perfectly as follows:
“But now it’s worth saying that telling women what to do with their bodies & sexuality is actually just classic sexism.
“I can have opinions about feminism & also do sexy photo shoots k thanks.”
Pretty great point, isn’t it?
What is more sexist, flaunting a body one is proud of… or insulting a woman for doing so?
Citing the allegations against Harvey Weinstein, and really the entire #MeToo movement in general, Ratajkowski added via Twitter:
I’m tired of having to consider how I might be perceived by men if I wear the short skirt or post a sexy Instagram. I want to do what I want to do.
Feminism isn’t about adjusting, it’s about freedom and choice
Previously, addresses critics of her scantily-clad photos by saying:
“To me, female sexuality and sexiness, no matter how conditioned it may be by a patriarchal ideal, can be incredibly empowering for a woman if she feels it is empowering to her.
“The way I dress, act, flirt, dance, have sex – those are my decisions and they shouldn’t be impacted by men. Being sexy is fun and I like it.
“I should never have to apologize for that.”

Charlie Gard, British Baby at Center of Global Medical Drama, Dies
Charlie Gard, the British baby who had been at the center of a high-profile legal battle over his medical care, has passed away.
He was only 11 months old.
The child was born with a rare genetic condition and spent a majority of his life in the hospital.
Charlie’s parents, Connie Yates and Chris Gard, fought a lengthy and emotional legal battle to take their severely ill son to the United States for treatment, a move that was eventually denied by judges.
The tragic case made global headlines, with President Donald Trump Tweeting about it just a few weeks ago.
This is what he wrote at the time:
Pope Francis also weighed on the debate, with the Vatican saying the pontiff prayed for the parents and “their wish to accompany and treat their child until the end is not neglected.”
Around the globe, a countless number of supporters made their voices heard, earning the nickname “Charlie’s Army” in the process.
They raised over 1.35 million pounds online, but were unable to influence the High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court… all of which ruled life support treatment should end and Charlie should be allowed to die with dignity.
He passed away while in a hospice facility.
The couple ended its legal battle on July 24, in what they referred to as the “most painful of decisions.”
An end-of-life plan for baby Charlie was then approved on Thursday by High Court judge Nicholas Francis.
Gard was born on August 4 and inherited the faulty RRM2B gene that affects the cells responsible for energy production and respiration, leaving him unable to move or breathe unaided.
His parents yearned to give him experimental, unproven nucleoside therapy, provided by American neuroscientist Michio Hirano.
Throughout the lengthy legal process – which saw an appeal rejected the European Court of Human Rights – physicians at Great Ormond Street maintained this treatment had little chance of success.
They said it would kinder for life support to be switched off.
Upon confirming the passing of her son, Connie simply wrote, “Our beautiful little boy has gone, we are so proud of you Charlie.”
May he rest in peace.

Janelle Monae Encourages Global Sex Strike, Believes "Respect" for "The Vagina" Has Been Lost
Janelle Monae has a way with words.
But, if it were up to the singer and actress, no man on the planet would have his way with the body of any woman until society undergoes some much-needed changes.
In a cover story of this month’s issue of Marie Claire, the Hidden Figures star makes quite the bold statement:
She encourages those who share her gender to withhold their most private part from members of the opposite gender as a form of protest.
“People have to start respecting the vagina,” Monae told Marie Claire, explaining:
“Until every man is fighting for our rights, we should consider stopping having sex. I love men. But evil men? I will not tolerate that. You don’t deserve to be in my presence.”
This would explain why Melania Trump has not slept with Donald Trump in about a decade.
In all seriousness, however, this idea may sound ludicrous.
But if ALL women around the globe really did agree to close their legs for ALL men… you just know there would be equal pay laws on every book in about two-and-a-half days.
Monae acknowledges the facts.
She talks openly about the lack of female leadership around the country.
She figures that if voters won’t put a woman in the White House, for example, then women themselves need to take their own kind of unique stance in order to demand change.
“If you’re going to own this world and this is how you’re going to rule this world, I am not going to contribute anymore until you change it,” she says, addressing men in power and adding:
“We have to realize our power and our magic. Because I am all about black-girl magic, even though I’m standing with all women. But this year?
“This year, I am so carefree black girl.”
Monae also elaborated on what “sexy” means in her view, stressing the significance of embracing one’s individuality.
“Women automatically are told that this is how you should look. This is how you should get a man. This is how you should get a woman,” she told the magazine.
“You need to fit into all these boxes to be accepted. I don’t subscribe to that way of thinking. I don’t think we all have to take the same coordinates to reach the same destination.
“I believe in embracing what makes you unique even if it makes others uncomfortable.”
Amen, right?!?
In closing, the actress reminded readers just how important it is to stay true to themselves.
“I believe in embracing what makes you unique even if it makes others uncomfortable. I have learned there is power in saying no. I have agency. I get to decide.”
And, if it’s up to Monae, men won’t get to decide on the next time they have sex until they take a long, hard look in the mirror and realize:
I’ll never get long and hard in bed again unless I do some things differently!

Early Tuesday, the streaming service got an assist from Graham in revealing that all seven seasons of Gilmore Girls will become available to stream globally on Friday, July 1.

The beloved series ran from 2000 through 2007 and it will give way Gilmore Girls: A Year In the Life this fall.
As previously announced, this Gilmore Girls revival will bring back every member of the main cast and will be comprised of four lengthy episodes, each one taking place in a specific season.
