United Airlines Removes Bride and Groom-to-Be from Plane (But Why?!?)
We have some good news and some bad news for United Airlines.
First, the good: the company has gone multiple days without beating up any paying customers.
But now the bad: the company made news once again over the weekend for alleged mistreatment of two passengers.
In this instance, an engaged couple was on board a United Airlines flight, heading from Houston to Costa Rica for their wedding.
Michael Hohl and Amber Maxwell tell KHOU that they were the last ones to board their plane and that they came across a sleeping man, draped across their assigned seats, upon arrival.
In response, Michael and Amber moved a few rows up in the economy cabin and asked if they could pay on the spot for seats in the Economy Plus section.
They were denied by flight attendants, who told the couple to return to their original seats.
“We thought not a big deal, it’s not like we are trying to jump up into a first-class seat,” Hohl explained to KHOU, adding:
“We were simply in an economy row a few rows above our economy seat.”
This is where details become murky, however.
The engaged twosome allege that a federal marshal escorted them from the plane due to their refusal to seat in the seats to which they were assigned.
But United says this simply isn’t true, releasing a statement that details how Michael and Amber “repeatedly attempted to sit in upgraded seating which they did not purchase and they would not follow crew instructions to return to their assigned seats.
“They were asked to leave the plane by our staff and complied.”
This statement from a United Airlines spokeswoman says the company offered the couple a discounted hotel rate for the night, and rebooked them on a Sunday morning flight.
So there seems to be some disagreement here in regard to what transpired.
But the PR disaster is obviously not on the level of what happened between United and a doctor named David Dao.
As has been well documented by now, Dao was one of four passengers on a flight from Chicago to Louisville last week who was chosen at random to give up his seat because United had overbooked his flight.
When Dao refused to do so, he was dragged away against his will and the following video has turned United into an ongoing punchline:
After the incident triggered international outrage, United CEO Oscar Munoz apologized to Dao, his family and its customers, saying the carrier would no longer use law enforcement officers to remove passengers from overbooked flights.
(What a novel concept, huh?)
“I continue to be disturbed by what happened on this flight and I deeply apologize to the customer forcibly removed and to all the customers aboard,” Munoz said in a public Mea Culpa, days after his initial apologies were considered tone deaf and insensitive.
“No one should ever be mistreated this way.”
Dao is almost assuredly set to file a lawsuit against United Airlines.
We expect the company to settle for a hefty sum and for the carrier to eventually be renamed Dao Airlines.
Just kidding. But only a little bit.
This doctor is about to absolutely own that place.

Barron Trump Video Creator Issues Apology, Removes Controversial Footage
Melania Trump has clearly learned a lot from her husband.
The impending First Lady just used the threat of a lawsuit to get an everyday citizen to grovel at her feet, while also do her exact bidding.
In this case, however, we can’t really hold anything against Melania.
She was just defending her son, after all. Allow us to explain…
Early last week, a YouTube user named James Hunter shared a seven-minute video of Barron Trump on the campaign trail with his father.
The footage featured the 10-year old acting restless in a chair, clapping without having his hands touch and exhibiting other signs on the spectrum of Autisim.
This is what Hunter wondered and alleged, that is.
The video then went mainstream after Donald Trump rival Rosie O’Donnell linked to it on her Twitter account, asking followers whether Barron was actually Autistic.
This created quite an uproar, although Rosie later tried to explain that her own daughter is Autistic and she was simply saying that Barron’s diagnosis might help bring attention to this disease.
O’Donnell didn’t hide her disdain for the President-Elect, but said she has no “ill will” toward members of his family.
But she still helped the video go viral, which prompted Melania Trump to say she would sue Hunter if he did not remove it from the Internet.
Via a statement through her lawyer, Melania also plainly said that Barron Trump is NOT Autistic.
On Tuesday, not only did Hunter obey Melania’s instruction that he take down the video, but he also offered a very public and heartfelt Mea Culpa.
He even put it on YouTube.
The video is titled “My Apology To Melania and Barron Trump” and it is comprised of the following words:
“On November 11, 2016, I posted a YouTube video titled: ‘Is Barron Trump Autistic #StopTheBullying.’
“n the video, I suggested Barron Trump might suffer from autism. This is in fact, 100 percent false.
“It was incredibly irresponsible of me to diagnose Barron Trump using a selection of misleading videos. Many of the videos I used showed Barron Trump behaving like any normal kid would at 3 a.m.
“I falsely correlated him trying to stay awake and occasionally doing quirky things, with him suffering from autism. This was incredibly foolish of me.”

Hunter continues in it:
“My video was originally intended as an anti-bullying video, as I myself suffer from autism and wanted to educate people. Unfortunately, I completely misdiagnosed a person and ended up making a video that was false, defamatory and malicious.
“I retract every single statement I made in that horrendous video, and want to sincerely apologize to the Trump family, especially to Melania and Barron Trump.
“I can understand if you might not want to accept my apology, but please know I didn’t mean to hurt anyone with my video.
“I wish your family nothing but good luck, safety, and love, as you prepare to become the next First Family of the United States.”
Sounds pretty darn sincere, doesn’t it?
We’re guessing no lawsuit will be filed and this will be the end of this scandal.
We can all now return to wondering what the heck Barron’s father will Tweet next…

Crystal Hefner Removes Breast Implants: Find Out Why!
Crystal Harris Hefner has gone to extreme lengths to get better.
The wife of Hugh Hefner has had her breast implants removed because of how unwell they were making her feel.
The glamor model has went through years of pain due to the implants and decided she’s had enough,so got rid of them.
Hefner took to Facebook in a post titled, “My Implants Slowly Poisoned Me.”
She started her post off by letting her fans know about about the symptoms she has come up against.
“Intolerance to foods and beverages, unexplained back pain, constant neck and shoulder pain, cognitive dysfunction (brain fog, memory loss), stunted hair growth, incapacitating fatigue, burning bladder pain, low immunity, recurring infections and problems with my thyroid and adrenals.”
It all sounds pretty horrible and it will no doubt have her thinking twice about cosmetic procedures in the future.
There are risks to any procedure, but it sure sounds like Hefner’s life was changed forever when she opted for implants.
“I ignored it, labeling myself a hypochondriac, despite truly worrying that there was something wrong with me,” the 30-year-old explains.
“I joked about losing my memory to age, and about getting ‘lazy’. I began to cancel appointments and shoots because everything exhausted me. Before everything went downhill I was at the gym five days a week, and always shooting and working.”
It’s perfectly natural for people to ignore health issues. Sometimes you’re worried at what could be causing you to not feel that great.
Hefner was obviously worried about the underlying issues making her feel so ill.
The star even spoke about how difficult it has been to get out of bed some days and noted that she was depressed at being left out of everything.
Hefner had her implants removed on July 15 and felt the benefits instantly.
“I know I won’t feel 100% overnight,” she adds. “My implants took 8 years to make me this sick, so I know it will take time to feel better. I also have other illnesses to address, but with the toxic bags removed, my immune system can focus on what it needs to.”
“Many of my friends have implants,” she adds in closing. “I worry for their health and hope that they, and everyone, can benefit from what I have experienced.”
Hefner’s experience will no doubt make people look into the downfalls of cosmetic surgery.
