Scheana Shay & Robert Valletta Take Their Relationship to the Next Level!

On tonight’s episode of Vanderpump Rules we’ll finally see Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney get married.

The wedding comes on the heels of a lot of drama, a lot of tears, and a lot of very valid questions about whether or not these two should really be getting hitched.

But while we’ve yet to see the Bubbas exchange vows, the public has already lost interest in Tom and Katie’s dysfunctional relationship and shifted focus to a new Vanderpump coupling.

We learned last month that Scheana Marie and Robert Valletta are dating, and now that they’ve gone public, the lovebirds are flaunting their romance at every opportunity.

Scheana and Robert kept their relationship on the down-low at first, as she’s still in the process of divorcing Mike Shay.

Now that the cat is out of the bag, however, they’re making up for lost time in a big way.

Though they’ve only been together a few months, Scheana and Robert are already traveling together, and it seems they’re big fans of those lame “couple on vacation” photos that are always clogging your newsfeed.

And we’re not talking about little weekend jaunts to Napa here, either.

These two are going international, and the weekend saw them partying it up in Amsterdam.

Scheana posted the above photo yesterday, along with a caption reading:

“Saturday night in the Dam!”

We’re not sure if anyone actually calls Amsterdam “the Dam,” but we’re gonna go ahead and assume Scheana just made that one up.

Anyway, it looks like these two don’t have a care in the world, but they’re not kicking things off under the most auspicious circumstances.

Scheana and Shay didn’t just get divorced, they got full on ugly divorced, and the specter of that failed marriage is still looming large over Scheana’s life.

Tonight’s season finale will celebrate romance, but after that, we’re on to the reunion show, and it seems Scheana’s troubled love life will be a major topic of discussion.

In fact, her much-maligned ex will make an appearance to confront rumors that he cheated on Scheana and explain what exactly went wrong.

Nothing like curling up on the couch with your new dude and watching as you and your ex hash out your marital troubles on TV.

Good luck with that, you two!

Watch Vanderpump Rules online to get caught up and try to imagine how awkward this season must be for Robert!

Robert Valletta and Scheana Shay: We"re Instagram Official!

First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes a baby in a baby carriage?

Maybe in 1983.

These days, it’s more like:

First comes a dating rumor, then comes a few vague hints from those involved, then comes anonymous source confirmation and then comes the first social media photo of the new couple.

Isn’t that right, Robert Valletta and Scheana Shay?

The Vanderpump Rules star and her rebound from her failed marriage to Mike Shay went public on Wednesday night, making their romance Instagram official via the cozy picture above.

Posing alongside the little known actor, Shay captioned this image with a single blue heart emoji, confirming that things are progressing very well between the two.

Valletta also posted a photo of the pair from the same evening on the red carpet, as they attended this film premiere with Shay’s Vanderpump Rules costars Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix.

Check it out below:

“She wasn’t expecting to meet somebody new so soon; she certainly wasn’t looking for it,” an insider told People Magazine last month of Shay, who divorced husband Mike in November.

This source added:

“She’s taking things slow, but is finally optimistic on what the future might hold.”

Scheana and Mike called it quits on their marriage last fall after two years as husband and wife.

Those who would watch Vanderpump Rules online on a regular basis were well aware that the couple had its share of issues.

Mike battled an addiction to painkillers for quite some time, actually going missing for several days not long before Scheana filed for divorce.

At the time, the estranged reality stars released a statement that made it sound as if this would be an amicable break-up.

“While we have made the difficult decision to move forward separately, our story will continue on through the love and mutual respect that we have cultivated throughout our 15-year friendship,” they wrote, adding:

“Much of the recent speculation and reporting on our relationship has been misguided, and we have come to an amicable decision on all matters.

HOWEVER:

A trailer for the upcoming Vanderpump Rules three-part reunion, which debuts on April 3, features Shay alleging that her former husband cheated on her, claiming that she “caught him texting another girl.”

That trailer came out around the same time as Shay releasing this picture of her and Robert Valletta.

Hmmm… coincidence?

Or it Shay trying to stir some $ hit up between herself and Mike?

It feels like a very long time since the two sliced into some wedding cake and exchanged vows, doesn’t it?

Says another source to People:

“Scheana spent the past year putting all of her energy into her marriage, neglecting her own needs.

“In Scheana’s previous relationship she carried the weight, in regards to finances and responsibility.

“It’s refreshing to see her with somebody who matches her own ambition and work ethic.”

Sort of hard to wonder if this anonymous source isn’t a certain Vanderpump Rules cast member who recently got divorced and who just made her romance Instagram official.

Vanderpump Rules airs Monday nights at 9/8c on Bravo.

Scheana Shay Accuses Mike of Infidelity, Vanderpump Rules Reunion Taping EXPLODES in Scandal

It was all over for Scheana Marie Shay and Mike Shay in late November.

Following weeks of rumors and innuendo regarding their marriage, the Vanderpump Rules star confirmed their divorce in a joint statement.

“While we have made the difficult decision to move forward separately, our story will continue on through the love and mutual respect that we have cultivated throughout our 15-year friendship,” the controversial couple said at the time.

The reality star added:

“Much of the recent speculation and reporting on our relationship has been misguided, and we have come to an amicable decision on all matters.

“We might have failed at our marriage, [but] we are committed to succeeding as friends and will continue to support each other’s personal happiness and professional success.”

That was then, however.

This is what has happened now:

In a taping for the Vanderpump Rules Season 5 finale, Scheana came out this week and basically accused Mike of cheating on her.

“Have you spoken to Shay at all?” Lisa Vanderpump asks Scheana backstage in a Bravo-sponsored clip.

“I haven’t seen him since we filmed,” the reality star replied. “I think he’s going to be way more uncomfortable than I’m going to feel. I have a room of support and friends.”

For years prior to their split, Mike Shay battled a substance abuse problem.

In a 2015 episode of their popular reality series, Scheana Marie staged an intervention for her troubled man, but clearly it didn’t take, as Mike actually went missing for multiple days last fall.

It was presumed at the time that he had fallen off the wagon and was on some kind of drug binge.

It has also been presumed that this marriage fell apart as a result of Mike’s unfortunate dependency.

But maybe not.

“I caught him texting another girl,” Scheana claims at the reunion, to which Mike responds:

“I can’t even look at you right now.”

The three-part reunion special kicks off on Monday, April 3 and marks the first time the couple has seen each other since Scheana filed for divorce from the musician.

It sounds as if things are about to get a lot worse between the stars before they get a lot better. If they get better at all.

Scheana, as previously reported, is now dating Amber Valletta’s brother, Robert Valletta.

The relationship appears to be getting serious, which is another awkward topic you can expect to be broached at the reunion.

Will you be tuning in for this three-part special?

Sorry, that’s akin to asking whether Kylie Jenner will be wearing next to nothing in her next Instagram photo, right?

Of course you will be!

Stassi Schroeder & Scheana Shay: Feuding Because of Lala Kent?!

It was back in August, that we first learned Lala Kent was quitting Vanderpump Rules, reportedly due to unwelcome scrutiny of her personal life.

(Lala really should’ve googled “reality star job responsibilities” before she took the gig. There’s only like one.)

The show has yet to deal with Lala’s departure, but a preview for next week’s episode promises a brief return, presumably so that she can tie up some loose ends before cutting ties with the SUR crew for good.

Despite the fact that she lasted just a few episodes longer the ill-fated Vail Bloom (Vail, we hardly knew ye.) Lala still casts a long shadow over a certain WeHo neighborhood, and it seems the mere mention of her name is still enough to stir up drama amongst her former rivals.

According to Radar Online, Scheana Shay has committed the grievous sin of befriending Lala (Following the shifting alliances and rivalries in this clique is like studying the buildup to World War I.), and now she’s suffering the Regina George-esque wrath of Stassi Schroeder and company.

If you’ve been watching the show this season you know that the similarities between Mean Girls and Vanderpump Rules have been overwhelming, and that poor Scheana has been on the receiving end of some serious cafeteria table cold shoulders.

Now, an insider says that just as Scheana was being welcomed back into the fold, she once again finds herself exiled from Stassi Land due to to her decision to make nice with Lala.

“Lala and [Scheana] have been hanging out, partying together and texting and talking,” a source close to the situation tells Radar.

“[Stassi Schroeder] is still mad and making digs at Scheana for even talking to — let alone becoming friends with Lala [Kent] again.”

Yes, it seems Scheana still just can’t catch a break.

First she gets divorced from Mike Shay, then her friends question her commitment to the wedding of Tequila Katie that’s taken up this whole freakin’ season for some reason, and now she’s on the outs again for getting friendly with Lala.

Granted, Lala did some sh-tty things (her “summer bodies” comment will go down as one of the douchiest in the show’s history, which is really saying something), but let Scheana live, y’all

Has the girl not been through enough?

These days, Scheana is dating again and trying to move on from both the wreckage of her marriage and her singing career, but she just can’t get out from under the thumb of Queen Stassi.

We’re about to launch a Kickstarter to buy this girl a new group of friends.

Scheana Shay: Identity of Her Mystery Boyfriend Revealed!

Back in November, Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Shay filed for divorce from Mike Shay for reasons that still aren’t entirely clear.

Production sources have revealed that details of Scheana and Shay’s divorce will be featured on the current season of Vanderpump, but thus far, the season has mostly focused on disastrous marriages that haven’t happened yet (sorry, Tom and Katie).

Little is known about the cause of the divorce, but it’s widely believed that the split was prompted by Shay’s struggles with substance abuse.

But while there was reportedly no infidelity involved, Scheana has wasted no time in moving on with a new dude.

For some reason, she’s chosen to publicly reveal that she’s in a new relationship, but to also try and keep her boyfriend’s identity a secret.

Unfortunately for Scheana, this is 2017, and an international cabal of Internet sleuths brings its A-game to everything from exposing the mundanity of Hillary Clinton’s emails to figuring out who D-list reality stars are banging.

Last month, we learned the identity of Lala Kent’s secret boyfriend, and now the online community is reaffirming that we’re living in a post-privacy age by revealing the name of Scheana’s rebound man:

That’s Robert Parks-Valletta, a 35-year-old Los Angeles-based actor, whom Radar Online has identified as Schena’s mystery guy.

According to Valletta’s IMDb page, he’s best known for a 2009 film called Frat Guy, so yeah, he’s – how do we put this nicely? – not exactly crushing it.

If his last name sounds familiar, that may be because Robert is the younger brother of model Amber Valletta, who was a thing for a while in the ’90s.

All-in-all, he’s a step up from a dude who’s in a hip hop crew with Nicole Arbour, and we’re guessing that’s all Scheana really cares about right now.

There’s no word on how serious things are between Robert and Scheana, but it seems like more than just a friends with benefits situation.

Robert and Scheana have been spotted on multiple outings together, and he traveled to New York with her for her latest appearance on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live.

We imagine for Bravo stars introducing your new piece to Andy is bigger than having him meet your parents.

Scheana Marie-Brandy Glanville Feud: Finally Settled?

Before she joined the cast of Vanderpump Rules, Scheana Marie was gained a modicum of infamy as one of the women who slept with Eddie Cibrian while he was still married to Brandi Glanville.

If you"re familiar with this crowd, you know the story:

Cibrian went on to marry LeAnn Rimes, and Scheana swears she didn"t know he was married.

Understandably, Brandi is no huge fan of Scehana"s, but it seems like years later, she might finally be coming around to the idea that it"s Eddie who"s to blame.

If you watch Vanderpump Rules online, you know that this season hasn"t been particularly kind to Scheana.

Not only is she dealing with her divorce from Mike Shay, the other ladies in her clique are being less than kind.

Ms. Marie has enjoyed plenty of sympathy on social media, and it seems like even Brandi is team Schena these days

On last night"s Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen asked Scheana how she feels about Brandi offering some kind words in a recent interview.

Scheana says the turn-around made her jaw drop, and she went on Twitter to thank her former rival…

…only to find that Brandi still has her blocked.

Looks like this hatchet isn"t completely buried just yet.

Watch the clip below to see Scheana"s reaction to Brandi"s stunning endorsement.

Stassi Schroeder on Scheana Marie Shay Divorce: There Were Red Flags

There’s nothing Stassi Schroeder likes to say more than, “I told you so.”

That has been crystal clear over the past five seasons of Vanderpump Rules, but we would not change her for the world.

If you watch Vanderpump Rules online, you will be well aware that Stassi has somehow managed to work her way back to being the Queen Bee of her friend circle.

That’s not entirely a bad thing. Schroeder makes for good TV and it’s evident the producers knew that, allowing her to stage a return to the show last year.

Stassi’s latest revelation centers on co-star Scheana Marie Shay’s marriage to Mike Shay.

As you probably already know, the relationship came to an abrupt end last November when Scheana filed from divorce from Mike after some erratic behavior.

“You’ll see as you keep watching this season. Shay kind of backed off from us almost entirely. It felt like he was almost never around,” Schroeder revealed about Mike’s sudden disappearance.

“So that to me was like a little bit of a red flag, but like nothing major. So when they actually decided to split up, that was a little shocking.”

Turns out, the “red flag” actually turned out to be that Scheana and Mike were having some marital woes.

It’s difficult enough to admit to yourself that your relationship is over, so you can only imagine how painful it was for her split to become public knowledge.

That said, Stassi felt that the divorce came about pretty quickly and there was not much lingering from either party.

“It was so fast that, like, I don’t remember having, like, a real reaction. All I know is that I’m happy that they are getting a divorce. I think Scheana’s handled it so well and she’s been so strong,” Schroeder continued.

“And I don’t know if I would have been able to have that strength if I was in her position. But I admire the way that she’s handled everything.”

As much as Stassi comes across as the two-faced person of her band of minions, it’s clear she does like Scheana.

They may not have gotten off to the best start, but it seems the bumps in the road to becoming friends have only made them stronger.

There are still a lot of big events coming up this season on the hit Bravo show. We will finally get to see Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz becoming the cutest “bubbas” of the small screen.

That’s if Tom gets Katie to agree to the prenup.

What do you think about all of this?

Sound off below!

Jax Taylor: I Knew Scheana Marie Would Get Divorced!

On many, if not most reality shows, the drama comes off as staged and scripted for the sake of the audience.

The reason we get that impression, is because that’s usually, quite literally the case.

If you watch Vanderpump Rules online, however, you probably gets the impression that the employees and ex-employee of SUR would be guzzling pump-tinis and making entertainingly bad decisions even there were no camera crews on hand.

As with Jersey Shore before it, the show often reaches a sort of fever-pitch insanity that’s nearly impossible to fake.

And while we know some of the cast members are sitting on a stack of headshots and maybe even a few IMDb credits, we seriously doubt they’re that good at acting.

Adding to our belief that the Vanderpump keeps it realer than most (every reality series takes some liberties with actual events) is the fact that the conflicts don’t end when the cameras turn off.

Just this month we’ve seen Stassi Schroeder slam Lala Kent on Twitter, clash with Kristen Doute over whether or not it’s okay to praise Melania Trump’s fashion choices, and defend Brittany Cartwright’s mother after felt to many fans like an unsettlingly homophobic episode.

But today’s clash of the SUR staff doesn’t involve Stassi at all, but instead pits Jax Taylor against the former Scheana Marie Shay.

As you may have hears Scheana recently got divorced from Mike Shay after less than two years of marriage.

That particular drama hasn’t even played out on the show yet, but naturally, her castmates are already offering their opinions.

“I think she just loved the idea of marriage so much that she just wanted to get married when there were so many red flags,” Jax recently told The Daily Dish in a surprisingly blunt assessment of the situation.

“She was in love, she wanted to get married, she thought [marrying] her high school sweetheart would be the thing to do, and it wasn’t.”

He was equally frank when asked if he thought the marriage would last:

“I thought it would happen sooner,” he added.

“I kind of knew that Scheana and Shay was gonna end. I hate to say that because I love Scheana very much, and I do, I love Shay, I think he’s a great guy, but [they were] just polar opposite.”

Jax is making the same observation that many others have voiced with regard to Sheana and Shay’s clashing type-A vs. type-B personalities, and he seems to be more concerned with giving his honest two cents than with throwing shade.

The same can’t be said for Internet hack comic Nicole Arbour who talks smack about Scheana like it’s her job these days, which in a way it is, as it’s basically her last-ditch effort at remaining relevant.

Like we said, the drama never stops with this crew.

And we wouldn’t want it any other way…

Okay, we’d get rid of Arbour, but that’s it.

Scheana Marie Opens Up About Divorce, "Mean Girl" Castmates

If you watch Vanderpump Rules online, then you know that this season has been a difficult one for Scheana Marie Shay.

In addition to the ongoing drama surrounding her divorce from Mike Shay, Scheana has once again found herself on the bottom rung of the social ladder.

The politics of the SUR girl (and former SUR girl) chick clique are complex, and alliances are constantly shifting, bridges are frequently burned, only to be easily mended at a later date.

When she started out on the show, Scheana was the odd woman out, regarded distrustfully due to her affair Eddie Cibrian, who was married to Brandi Glanville at the time.

(Scheana says she had no idea he was married, and it’s not really her job to make sure a married man doesn’t cheat on his wife, anyway.)

Despite their initial misgivings, the group eventually accepted Scheana, who in turn invited her friend Ariana into the fold.

These days, Ariana is a cast regular, but she and Scheana are on the outs, due to Ariana’s friendship with Lala, who’s been (justifiably) shunned by the rest of the group.

Scheana, meanwhile, appears to be getting the mean girl treatment from the rest of the cast again, primarily because she committed the unforgivable sins of not being rude enough to Lala, and drinking from a straw on vacation.

Like we said, messy, complex stuff, and it’s made for some compelling TV thus far this season.

Over the weekend, Scheana opened up about her place in the ever-changing social strata of the show:

“No one admits this other than me, but I think we all are very competitive with each other,” Scheana said during her appearance on The Tomorrow Show on Saturday.

“We aren’t always genuinely happy for each other when someone else gets an opportunity. So I think that’s something subconsciously, too, that makes us fight.”

That dynamic is obvious to most viewers, but it’s rare to hear any of the ladies admit that their circle of friends is more than a little dysfunctional.

Though to be fair, just last week, Stassi Schroeder opened up about her feelings toward Lala and the the “mean girl” criticism she’s faced all season, so maybe the ladies of Vanderpump made new year’s resolutions to be more forthcoming,

As for her divorce, Scheana had this to say in a recent interview with the Daily Dish:

You’ll see a lot of this play out on the show, so I don’t want to give too much away. Shay and I did split amicably. We put out a joint statement.

“It just wasn’t working anymore on either end. We just decided instead of going for a legal separation or trying to continue therapy, we both agreed it wasn’t right.

“And, you know, hopefully one day we can be friends. You never know what the future holds. But it just was a situation that needed to end before the holidays, before the new year.”

Credit to Scheana for refusing to stoop to the level of Nicole Arbour, the Internet “comedian” and friend of Mike Shay’s who’s been calling Scheana out and claiming that she’s solely responsible for the divorce.

Don’t feed the trolls, kids. They’ll follow you home.

Nicole Arbour Slams Scheana Shay: She"s SO Mean!

Between Donald Trump and Nicole Arbour, 2017 is looking to be huuuuuge for terrible blondes who have made careers out of talking sh-t.

If you’re not familiar with Arbour, you’ve enjoyed a blessed existence, and you should read no further, so that you might live the rest of your days unsullied by the knowledge of this angry comments section come to life.

If you are familiar with Arbour, then we don’t have to tell you she’s the absolute worst.

Arbour became “famous” for her noxious screed of a YouTube video, “Dear Fat People” back in 2015.

Like Martin Shkreli and countless toddlers before her, Arbour can’t distinguish between positive and negative attention, so she fed off the Internet’s contempt and stuck around well beyond her allotted 15 minutes.

So why are we talking about the Carlos Mencia of social media this week?

Well, like a parasite attached to a host, Arbour has managed to remain relevant by sinking her teeth into a slightly better-known Z-lister, former Vanderpump Rules star Mike Shay.

If you’re a fan of the the show, you know that Mike was married to Scheana Marie for about four seconds (or 18 months, whatever).

Mike and Scheana broke up recently, and portions of the drama will reportedly be featured in the latter half of Vanderpump‘s current season.

These days, Mike is in a hip hop group with Arbour called Dat Dope Group, because apparently Nicole is capable of being funny, but only when it’s unintentional.

Because dat group has a total of 96 Twitter followers, which is decidedly un-dope, Nicole is drumming up publicity the best way she knows how – by being horrendous!

According to Arbour, Scheana basically sabotaged her marriage for the sake of Vanderpump‘s ratings, which seems like a pretty hefty price to pay for a storyline that the show rarely focuses on.

“Scheana and Shay were told if they didn’t cause more drama that she would be fired because she wasn’t interesting enough,” Arbour recently told Radar Online.

“They needed more drama from her. And that’s what started causing so many problems in their marriage.

“Mike wasn’t into it and Scheana was like, ‘Well, this is my job and you have to support me and cause more drama with me.’”

She added:

“He always spoke so highly of her, like, ‘I love my wife. My wife is amazing. I love her so much.’ But none of us ever saw that. We never saw them being in love.

Arbour went on to reiterate that she believes Scheana was lying when she claimed that Mike went missing and appeared to relapse back in November:

“One time he accidentally locked himself out of the studio and he wasn’t actually missing,” she said.

“He locked himself out and had to walk home. He was missing for a couple of hours because he didn’t call her back.”

Since Scheana has yet to take the bait and feed Arbour the troll pellets that she needs to survive, Nicole decided to go all-in by slamming the entire Vanderpump cast:

“It’s sad that this is what these people have to do,” she said.

“They have to make up lies and try to run with them so they have a career next year because they’re desperate for storylines.”

We never saw it that way, but Arbour is something of an authority on resorting to sad, desperate measures to guard her precious nugget of fame like some sort of angry blonde Gollum, so maybe she knows what she’s talking about.

Scheana Shay Opens Up About Divorce: What REALLY Happened?

For months now, we’ve been hearing reports that Vanderpump Rules’ Scheana and Mike Shay had split up after less than two years of marriage.

At one point, there were rumors that Mike had gone missing for six days after emptying his and Scheana’s joint checking account, prompting family and friends to call police and have him tracked down.

Last night, Scheana finally spoke about her troubled marriage in a pair of very different interviews:

Following last night’s episode of Vanderpump (which awkwardly transitioned into the pilot for for Bravo’s dumb new show about Hamptons snobs – a bit of programming trickery that we really hope doesn’t become a trend), Scheana appeared on Watch What Happens Live, alongside Stassi Schroeder.

Naturally, host Andy Cohen asked about the state of Scheana’s marriage, and the usually private aspiring pop star gave a remarkably candid assessment of her love life:

Scheana confirmed that she and Mike have filed for divorce, forgoing a legal separation period altogether.

She says they haven’t lived together since October and are currently “not on speaking terms.”

She even hinted that she may have already found someone new, but stopped just short of going into detail about the “mystery man” on her Snapchat account.

Prior to sitting down with Cohen, however, Scheana spoke with E! News and made the dissolution of her marriage sound much more amicable:

In this interview, Scheana claimed that the couple had little trouble weathering the storm of Mike’s substance abuse issues, but adds that they ultimately decided together they simply weren’t a good fit for one another.

“I just didn’t think it was something that was fixable,” she explained to us before her appearance tonight on Watch What Happens Live.

“From three months into the marriage, if it wasn’t one thing it was another and we both decided amicably that this relationship wasn’t working anymore and a divorce was the way to go.”

While she reiterated that she and Mike are no longer speaking, this time she made it sound like a mutual decision, designed to help both of them move on:

“Look, you’re happy. I’m happy. We can be happy for each other,” Scheana explained.

“If you need anything I’m here but it’s just kind of at the point where communication doesn’t need to be regular.”

Sadly, we didn’t get any updates of Scheana’s feud with Nicole Arbour, or the state of Mike and Nicole’s unintentionally hilarious hip hop crew.

Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz: Somehow Shocked Over Scheana Marie Divorce

Note to Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz:

You may want to watch your own television show.

We can help. You can use this link to watch Vanderpump Rules online in order to catch up with past episodes of this Bravo hit.

Perhaps then you’ll be able to remove your jaws from the floor when it comes to Scheana Marie Shay and Mike Shay recently filing for divorce.

These Vanderpump Rules stars appeared last night on Watch What Happens Live and were asked by host Andy Cohen about Scheana Marie splitting from her husband of two years.

Considering that Scheana staged an intervention for Mike last season…

… and considering that a Season 4 episode also centered on Mike moving out of the couple’s apartment after just months of marriage…

… and considering that Mike actually went missing for a few days in November, while Scheana wondered about his whereabouts and folks wondered if he had fallen off the wagon…

… well, this divorce was not difficult to see coming.

Unless you are Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz, apparently.

“It was honestly – it came out of nowhere,” Tom told Cohen on Tuesday evening’s broadcast. “We were blindsided.”

“We all thought they’d be together forever,” added Katie, who evidently has never actually spoken to Scheana or Mike.

Katie and Tom, who got married themselves in August, continued to sound more ignorant than the average Vanderpump Rules viewer, with Tom somehow stating on air:

“You never know what’s going on behind closed doors. They seemed happy from outward appearances.”

Ummm… no, they did not.

Countless episodes of your very own reality show – with camera rolling in front of open doors and everything – depicted Scheana and Mike experiencing serious marital problems.

But Maloney reiterated this same stance in a Facebook Live chat Monday.

“I never saw it coming. We never anticipated it. I thought they would be together forever,” she said at the time.

“My heart goes out to them and I can’t even imagine, but I think it’s the best decision for them both and I know that they will still be able to maintain a friendship.”

It doesn’t sound like you know anything about them at all, actually, Katie.

Wrote Scheana and Mike in a joint statement upon announcing their break-up:

While we have made the difficult decision to move forward separately, our story will continue on through the love and mutual respect that we have cultivated throughout our 15-year friendship.

Much of the recent speculation and reporting on our relationship has been misguided, and we have come to an amicable decision on all matters.

We might have failed at our marriage, but we are committed to succeeding as friends and will continue to support each other’s personal happiness and professional success.

Scheana later jumped on Twitter and thanked her fans for their support.

“Thank you all for the love today! It’s never easy to split with someone you still love, but we will always remain friends,” she wrote.

As for what brought the marriage down? And where the relationship will go from here?

A reliable source says more information will leak out as more episodes of Vanderpump Rules air this season.

Tom and Katie may want to tune in.

Scheana Marie Shay Divorce: Details to Come on Vanderpump Rules!

In news that shouldn’t have come as a huge shock to anyone who has tracked her marriage of late, Scheana Marie Shay filed for divorce this week.

She ended her relationship with husband Mike after about two years as his wife, purportedly due to Mike’s substance abuse issues.

Although the Vanderpump Rules star did not come out and specific the basis for her break-up, it’s not hard to read between the lines.

In early November, after all, Mike went missing for a number of days.

There was talk that he emptied his bank account and chatter that he had fallen off the wagon after a year or so of sobriety (which followed eight years of an addiction to painkillers).

Yes, Mike eventually turned up.

And, yes, he shared a post at the time on Instagram that assured followers he was happy, healthy and in love with Scheana.

“I love my wife and will always love my wife,” Mike wrote once he resurfaced. “Whatever is going on between us will stay between us! I love my family and my family loves me.”

But it didn’t take long for divorce rumors to circulate.

Heck, going back to November of last year, Scheana was Tweeting about trouble in her marriage and asking fans not to judge her and Mike too harshly.

She also staged an intervention for Mike on a Vanderpump Rules installment last year.

So, yeah. This split was pretty easy to see coming, no matter how happy the couple looked on its wedding day.

This is the joint statement they released upon announcing their divorce:

While we have made the difficult decision to move forward separately, our story will continue on through the love and mutual respect that we have cultivated throughout our 15-year friendship.

Much of the recent speculation and reporting on our relationship has been misguided, and we have come to an amicable decision on all matters.

We might have failed at our marriage, but we are committed to succeeding as friends and will continue to support each other’s personal happiness and professional success.

Scheana then went on to thank her fans for their support, writing on Twitter this week:

“Thank you all for the love today! It’s never easy to split with someone you still love, but we will always remain friends.”

Now, in news even less surprising than the divorce itself, Kristen Doute has confirmed that those who watch Vanderpump Rules online will learn a lot more about what led to her close friend deciding to end her marriage.

The Sur waitress was a guest on SiriusXM’s “Conversations with Maria Menounos” Friday when she revealed that the Bravo series recently resumed filming… specifically to include details about the divorce.

It’s almost as though this was a storyline planned by producers for several months.

“Obviously there are other things that will come out on this season that were reasons as to why [they broke up,” Doute said on air, claiming that it was Scheana’s decision to pull the plug and adding:

“She definitely has some other reasons and things that have happened between the two of them.”

What could those reasons possibly be?!?

We’ll need to tune in to new episodes of this Bravo reality show for the answer.

Real classy, everyone.

Scheana Marie Shay and Mike Shay: It"s Over!

It is all over for Scheana Marie Shay and Mike Shay.

The couple, best known for their roles on Vanderpump Rules, announced on Wednesday afternoon that they were splitting up after two years of marriage.

Scheana actually filed the official legal documents on Tuesday.

In a joint statement, the reality stars say the following to Us Weekly:

“While we have made the difficult decision to move forward separately, our story will continue on through the love and mutual respect that we have cultivated throughout our 15-year friendship.

Much of the recent speculation and reporting on our relationship has been misguided, and we have come to an amicable decision on all matters.

We might have failed at our marriage, but we are committed to succeeding as friends and will continue to support each other’s personal happiness and professional success.”

Anyone who fires up their Internet connection to watch Vanderpump Rules online or tunes in to Bravo each week is well aware that the twosome has seen its share of trouble of late.

Mike, for example, has battled a substance abuse problem for years.

Earlier this month, Scheana Marie grew concerned when her husband reportedly failed to return home after band practice. She panicked when she was unable to track him down.

In a 2015 episode of her popular reality show, Scheana Marie staged an intervention for her man.

Following a year of sobriety, which followed eight years of a painkiller addiction, there was a fear that Mike has fallen off the wagon.

But he shared a post on Instagram on November 7 that quieted this fear.

“I am not missing. I am sober. I am Happy!!!” he wrote, adding:

“Don’t believe everything you read. I love my wife and will always love my wife. Whatever is going on between us will stay between us! I love my family and my family loves me and a lot of things have been said out is protection and anger by many people.

“I just ready for the next chapter in my life!”

It’s unclear right now whether the divorce is directly related to Mike’s ongoing struggles. But it’s very safe to assume.

His next chapter of life will take place as an unmarried individual.

About a year ago, Scheana sat down with Entertainment Tonight and said the following about her marriage:

“On the show, you don’t talk about being on the show. You know, we’re not the Kardashians. We don’t see cameras and all that.

So, it’s like, it’s hard when we’re fighting about something we can’t fight about for everyone to see, because that is a struggle.

“I don’t like to live with regrets. I like to live and learn. And one of the things, I think, about our show is how real it is. It’s unscripted. We’re a group of friends who love each other, can’t stand each other, and same with Shay.

“You know, we’re not always perfect.”

Heading into this season, she also teased new insights into her marriage.

“You will see a different side to our relationship this season, and that’s all I’m going to say,” she previewed to Us Weekly just a few weeks ago.

It will be interesting to see how the relationship continues to play out on Bravo in the coming weeks, considering episodes were filmed awhile back.

The couple married on July 27, 2014, in a ceremony at Hummingbird Nest Ranch in Santa Susana, California.

The wedding was filmed and aired as part of season 3 of Vanderpump Rules. Because of course it was.
