Jon Gosselin: Congrats to My Girlfriend! I Can Finally Quit Stripping!
Sexism is over! … Okay, not really.
But Jon Gosselin’s post congratulating his girlfriend Colleen Conrad has some people chuckling over some refreshing role reversals.
Which should not, of course, distract from celebrating this couple’s good news.
Jon Gosselin’s girlfriend, Colleen Conrad, graduated from nursing school.
The reality personality took to Instagram to congratulate her, his caption indicating that she intends to become a nurse practitioner.
Lately, we know that Jon Gosselin’s been working as a stripper.
When he’s not saving people’s lives, that is.
He’s credited the profession with putting his life back on track, which makes sense — with his novelty as a reality star, it could definitely pay the bills.
We’ve all heard stories of women who were strippers to put their boyfriends or fiances or husbands through medical school, or who at least stripped during that time.
You know, in anticipation that the future doctor or nurse would eventually become the breadwinner.
Some pointed out similarities, though we’ve seen no indications that Jon’s been bankrolling her through school or anything like that.
But it’s always nice to hear a man praising his girlfriend’s career milestones instead of the other way around.
Stripping can be a great way to make money and some find it empowering, but the age range for it to be a viable career is pretty limited.
In other words, medical professionals are likely to make more with age.
Over time, strippers are likely to make less.
In Jon Gosselin’s case, he’s kind of older than you usually picture a stripper being, but — and we say this with no intended offense — we think that his career is based more on his fame than on his looks.
And that’s totally okay.
So, if the Jon Gosselin’s novelty wears off before he lines up a new gig, if he and Colleen are still together, she could be the breadwinner for a while.
Jon Gosselin’s still famous, even though he’s no longer a reality star.
Though he’s glad that his family’s time in the spotlight has provided for a financial future for his children, he’s expressed concerns in the past that the fame may impact them in unforeseen ways.
Honestly? We don’t think that he needs to worry.
Growing up famous can screw with you plenty — just look at Kylie Jenner.
But for the Gosselin children, we can’t imagine that the long-term mental scarring from fame will hold a candle to the damage of being raised by that beast Kate Gosselin.
We also think that he knows that, but probably has very good reasons for not saying it.
Custody situations can be … complicated.
But this moment is about Jon and Colleen, and not Jon’s heavy personal baggage.
We’re glad that they were able to toast to her graduation from nursing school and to her new career.
Honestly, we hope that Jon sticks to stripping for a while if he’s enjoying it.
You want to ride that fame train as far as it will take you, you know?
So long as it keeps paying the bills, anyway.

Baylee Curran: Stripped of Beauty Pageant Crown for Stripping Down!
Baylee Curran’s name is everywhere right now for getting Chris Brown arrested.
Curran was at Chris Brown’s home on August 30, but things took a terrifying turn when an argument broke out.
Chris allegedly waved a gun at the beauty pageant winner when things got out of hand.
It resulted in a tense standoff as police waited hours for Chris to surrender himself to them.
Chris also threw a duffel bag out a window with guns and drugs in it.
The rapper even took to Instagram to claim the whole thing was blown out of proportion.
To an extent, it was, but he should not be waving guns at people.
Baylee has opened up about her ordeal, placing the blame on Brown.
It appears that Baylee has been in a lot of trouble this year for not adhering to the requirements of being Miss California Regional 2016.
Pretty much as soon as she was crowned, nude pictures of her were sent to the pageant director.
This caused a lot of drama for her, but Curran was quick to rule the nudes as fake.
After going at it with the pageant director, Curran was given one more chance.
As you can probably guess, Baylee blew that chance.
Curran continued to screw up and deceived the pageant director.
She didn’t even show up to any the scheduled events she was meant to go to as Miss California Regional.
The last straw appears to have been when she ditched an event, but was tagged in pictures frolicking in a boat.
That’s hardly model behavior.
Baylee was allegedly rude when the director asked for the crown back.
“You’re the director. You can make or bend the rules. I’m keeping the crown and we can move on.”

Patti LaBelle Goes Off On Man Stripping During One Of Her Shows, And She Shades Nicki Minaj & Miley Cyrus In The Process!
Don’t go playing around on Patti LaBelle‘s stage!
The New Attitude singer was in the middle of a show on Friday night in Vancouver when a fan started stripping on stage… and the legendary singer wasn’t having it AT. ALL.

During a performance of Lady Marmalade, LaBelle invited several audience members on stage to dance. So far, so good, right?!
Well, things went downhill when one fan started to unbutton his shirt as if he were going to start stripping! Patti was not about that life, and she scolded him for it, saying in front of the entire audience:
“Don’t you dare, not on my stage. I am 71-years-young I am not Nicki Minaj or that little, uh, Miley.”
Patti, why you gotta shade Nicki and Miley with it though?! LOLz!!
She continued, eventually kicking him out of the concert:
“Get off of my goddarn stage, b***h. And stay off. Put him out of the building. Put him out! How dare you!”
Later in the concert, LaBelle obviously felt bad about what she did, but she had a really good explanation for it:
“I’m so sorry. I’m a Gemini and things come out of my mouth sometimes that I try to control. Don’t ever come in my face again.”
Ahhhh, so that is what it was!

Patti LaBelle -- Goes Nuclear On Stripping Fan (VIDEO)

Patti LaBelle made it known loud and clear last night … NO ONE gets on her stage and strips down.
LaBelle was in Vancouver Friday night and invited a couple of fans up on stage with her to sing and dance. However, one fan took things too far for Patti and started unbuttoning his shirt, a big no-no.
Patti chewed the fan out and once he turned his backside to her, she lost it — throwing him out of the show.
The 72-year-old even mentions Nicki Minaj and Miley Cyrus in the tirade — LaBelle has criticized the pair’s clothing (or lack there of) in the past.
