Shahs of Sunset Season 7 Episode 2 Recap: It"s My Party and I"ll Make You Cry If I Want To
If you watch Shahs of Sunset online, you know that Golnesa ‘GG’ Gharachedagh is not a Shah to be messed with.
On Shahs of Sunset Season 7 Episode 2, she was blindsided that her friend Mercedes ‘MJ’ Javid had iced her out of her wedding.
In a stunning move, MJ confirmed that the only one of her close friends who was going to be part of the wedding was MJ, with the rest of the help coming in the form of the people who help her work out and do her makeup.
“Her glam squad is her bridal team,” GG complained.
GG and Adam fumed when they realized that they had been left out and made their way to the bar to throw shade at both MJ and Reza.
What made it worse was that Reza and MJ then shocked their friend by confirming that Shalom’s ex-wife was also in attendance at the event.
That was enough for GG to flee the party.
“Take me the f**k out of here,” she yelled at Shervin.
“I don’t want to be around these people anymore. Why would they do that?,” GG fumed while in the smoking area of the party.
Reza then told MJ that GG was annoyed about the way things went down, and we learned that they were both mad about the way GG acted on the ski trip.
Earlier in the episode, GG ruined the surprise before everyone left the ski resort.
“So how does Tommy feel about the maid-of-honor who had his d*** inside you?,” GG blurted out upon hearing the news.
“Do you want to be in the bridal party? You can’t be happy for me?” MJ asked her friend.
“I have no intention of enabling friends who act like a**holes. If you do something shady, then don’t cry when something happens to you,” MJ continued.
While GG may be against weddings for now because of her failed marriage to Shalom, MJ was unimpressed at the way her friend was acting.
“I feel bad for GG for not being happy for us,” MJ complained in a confessional.
Reza tried to break the ice by apologizing to GG for ambushing her.
“I wanted to apologize, so this doesn’t become a thing,” Reza said.
“It’s a thing already,” GG responded.
Meanwhile, MJ was trying to get in shape so that she could get married and have a baby with Tommy.
However, she worried that her father being ill could affect her potential pregnancy. The good thing about the wedding and the freezing of the embryos is that Vida finally feels happy for her daughter.
This could have been brought on by Doctor Ghadir, who said that MJ needed positivity in her life.
“I would like for you to be positive with her because I can’t wait to give all of you good news,” he told Vida.

Shahs of Sunset Season 7 Episode 1 Recap: A Short Kiss Goodnight
A new season of Shahs of Sunset can only mean one thing:
Drama.
When Shahs of Sunset Season 7 Episode 1 got underway, Reza Farahan wanted to remind viewers that he was still the busiest Bravolebrity around.
Adam Neely, Reza’s husband, was still going on about starting a family. Yes, it looks like they are getting the same storyline they did for Shahs of Sunset Season 6.
“Stressing about the house and getting all this baby pressure, I’m spread real f***ing thin,” yelled Reza as he didn’t only walk red carpets and get paid to promote things on social media.
We kid, mostly.
The cast then got ready for a trip to Big Bear, and Mike Shouhed could not help himself by telling his fellow cast members that there was a new girl on his radar named Mona.
“We’re friends, for now,” said the 39-year-old.
“I’m done partying, and I want to have a family,” he confirmed to his friends.
Yeah, if you watch Shahs of Sunset online, you know that Mike does not have the best track record for keeping it in his pants.
Mona showed up at the lodge with her brother Nema, and there was something off about their relationship.
“It’s for sure an Angelina Jolie brother vibe like if she won an award you know Nema’s going to be there trying to stick a tongue in that mouth,” laughed Destiney Rose.
There was also something off with Nema. He was talking about his girlfriend, and how much he loved her. However, he was also flirting with GG.
As the friends chatted, GG admitted that she wanted to have a child within the next year.
“I wanna have some sperm,” she announced to her friends, adding that the sperm donor had to be “healthy and wealthy.”
“I would do that,” said Nema.
“I see her, and my rational thought goes out of the window,” said Nema, before begging her to accompany him on a dinner date.
This dude had a girlfriend of over a year when this episode was filmed, so we think it’s fair to say he’s one to watch and not for the right reasons.
Nema then asked for a kiss, but GG shut it down but confirmed she would go on a date in Los Angeles.
“It can’t kill anybody, but it can get me in some s***,” GG said.
“It’s between us,” Nema responded.
GG went on to open up about the breakdown of her marriage to Shalom.
“I began seeing sides to him that were frightening,” she said before confirming that “diamonds are forever.”
“I literally have no sexual desire anymore, I don’t know if it’s my libido or if it’s because I’m so turned off by Shalom,” she continued.
Mike tried to get close to Mona and said “it’s a done deal” when he attempted to get close to her. When he was shut down, he changed his stance, saying her “philosophies” were different from his.
Okay then.
“When he meets a woman that’s not willing to drop to her knees within, I’d say 12 minutes of meeting him, it’s a blow to his ego,” said Reza.
As for MJ, well she was planning her wedding, but she did confirm that the rumors about her sleeping with Reza several years before were true.
Yes, things are getting crazy, and it’s been just one episode!

Shahs of Sunset: Trailer Teases Drama, Loss, and a Wedding!
Shahs of Sunset is returning for its seventh dramatic season, and we have the trailer.
We already knew that Mercedes Javid married David Feight, but this video teases plenty of wedding drama. Also, other drama.
And some sadness. And a couple of fights, because hey, why not?
Before we get into MJ"s fun misadventures (and the sadness), let"s cover the roster.
First, the returning stars:
Reza Farahan, Mercedes "MJ" Javid, Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi and Mike Shouhed are all back.
And we"ll be seeing more of Destiney Rose, who is still a newbie on the series.
Then there"s the new cast member, Nema Vand, who describes himself as a "white-washed Persian." Hey, so long as he"s the one saying it, right?
Remember when we openly questioned if Asa Soltan Rahmati was done with the series?
She"s sticking around … but only in a recurring capacity. It happens.
The bride-to-be is very excited about her wedding to her long-time lover, but she is the first to acknowledge that she had once ruled it out entirely.
"Remember me?" MJ asks the camera. "The one who said never?"
In case you"ve forgotten, the trailer cuts to footage of MJ saying exactly what she thinks of marriage — a stressful and expensive prelude to divorce.
Clearly, she has now changed her tune.
"Guess what, mother f–kers?" She asks. Don"t worry — it"s rhetorical. "I’m getting married!"
She sure is!
While we knew that she tied the knot already, this trailer shows us that the wedding didn"t exactly go smoothly.
Meanwhile, Mike Shouhed has a heart-to-heart with his mother.
Sometimes, when others reach life milestones, you realize that your life hasn"t led where you had imagined that it would.
He laments that he is not married with children already, as that is where he believes that he should be at this point in his life.
(We"re guessing that he"s really regretting cheating right about now)
His mother assures him that he"ll find the right person in time.
Oh, speaking of major life decisions, Reza Aslan and his husband, Adam Neely, seem to have hit a bump in their relationship.
The trailer hints that these two are at odds over whether to have children — with Reza being against it.
But … we need to circle back to MJ.
The trailer certainly does.
MJ"s lowest point in this trailer is dealing with her father"s death.
Unfortunately, that sorrow becomes almost comical — almost — as her attempt to scatter his ashes over the water goes awry.
The wind blows some of her father"s own remains back into her face, which is unpleasant on many levels. All levels, really.
Reza doesn"t take it well, either.
For the record, it is our understanding that Federal law prohibits any spreading of human remains along any coastlines unless you are three miles or more out at sea.
So … that"s another layer to this very uncomfortable scene.
MJ has more to do, by the way.
It looks like we"ll be seeing at least one fight between MJ and GG.
And then we get just a tease of some sort of mini-catastrophe at her wedding, which is every bride"s nightmare.
The trailer is punctuated perfectly by Reza"s "what happened?"
Shahs of Sunset is a gift, folks.

Shahs of Sunset Season 6 Episode 15 Recap: Are GG and Shalom Still Together?
Did Asa conceive naturally?
That was the big question on Shahs of Sunset Season 6 Episode 15 when it became apparent that not everyone believed what Asa was saying.
When the episode got underway, Reza was still on the fence and made it clear that he was annoyed at himself for having doubts about his good friend.
Asa denied that she was worried about bumping into MJ at the clinic, and everyone seemed to think she was just lying. Reza was mad because he felt like he was trying to give her every opportunity to tell the truth, but she was not having it.
MJ then chimed in and said that she was mad because her reaction was made out to be an overreaction and that she reacted the way any good friend would have.
Things took a crazy turn after lunch when Golnesa took what seemed to be a panic attack. She revealed that she was light-headed and that she felt she was going to faint.
Andy asked why Golnesa was still drinking despite going to rehab. She defended herself by saying that she never claimed to be sober. The talk turned to her relationship with Shalom, and all seemed to be right between them.
Reza then said that she was talking crap because she was stabbing herself where the tattoo of Shalom is. Golnesa claimed that the reason they had the falling out was that she learned he was married before her and felt like he was only looking for a green card.
When Shalom hit up the stage, it became clear that things were not right between the couple. Shalom noted that they were trying to fix their relationship, but it does not seem like it will be successful.
Reza then shocked Adam by saying that they could be in an open relationship ten years from now, and the poor man looked like he wanted to run off the set and away from his husband.
The plan for the baby is that Adam is going to be the biological father and surrogate the child through surrogacy. When that was out of the way, Reza and Adam revealed they bought a house.
Mike was not impressed and felt like he and MJ were being left out of everything. In the end, everyone went their separate ways, and it became clear they were all against one another.
Is there hope?
We will find out in Season 7!

Shahs of Sunset Season 6 Episode 14 Recap: Is Asa Soltan Done With the Series?!?
The shahs do not share the same bond they once did.
That became clear on Shahs of Sunset Season 6 Episode 14 which served as the first part of the reunion for the latest season of the hit Bravo series.
When the episode got underway, Andy wasted no time in asking some questions to the cast members. His attention was firmly on Asa at the opening.
He asked if the baby would be making its way onto the reunion special.
“No, but he might be coming later because I’m breastfeeding. Which is a lot of work, by the way.”
Andy then quizzed them all about the plastic surgery they have had done, and MJ refused to raise her hand because she did not want to discuss the question.
Andy then pointed out that she was complaining about Asa keeping things from them over the course of the season, and felt like it was a bit hypocritical of her.
Asa said that people in the cast just want the world to see certain things about them and question what is fact and what is fiction.
“For example, are those your natural lips?” she asked MJ.
MJ tried to say they were the real deal, but she forgot Asa went to school with her, so she knew MJ was lying.
Andy quizzed Asa about motherhood, and she was very open about her experience of it. When Andy asked about why the kid is not in front of the camera, she blamed it all on Jerome.
We then moved on to the whole race card. Mike was still mad with Asa because she painted him as a racist because he said that Jermaine was black.
“You’re fake, you’re false, you’re a liar,” he said to her. But, it did not take him long to take back his harsh words and left her with an apology.
When the attention turned to MJ’s family life, she took full responsibility for that fight with Tommy from a few weeks ago. Yes, the one that was so clearly scripted.
Vida then came on the stage and claimed MJ was not ready for a baby. This did not go down well for MJ because Vida was never there for her growing up, so she felt like it was not her place to comment on anything.
Vida did note that Tommy was growing on her and everyone seemed shocked. They agreed to get married, so at least that was positive for their relationship.
Vida then said that Mike had matured in a lot of ways, and she liked the person he was becoming, but she said Asa was trash.
“So you guys just like to bring Vida out to shit on me,” Asa balked later in the episode.
The attention turned to MJ trashing Asa’s baby, and she claimed it just slipped out. Asa said that’s the type of behavior she has come to expect from MJ over the years.
Reza brought up the fact that Asa lied about the doctor to MJ, and that it must have hurt. Asa lied and said they were not there at the same time.
“You didn’t tell me that you were worried you were going to bump into her at the doctor’s office?” She said no. Reza replied, “That’s why we are where we are in our relationship.”

Shahs of Sunset Season 6 Episode 13 Recap: The Thread That Broke The Shahs" Backs
Is Asa Soltan leaving Shahs of Sunset behind?
It certainly seemed that way on Shahs of Sunset Season 6 Episode 13 in which she appeared to be so done with all of the drama, but we never really got a solid answer about her future with the series.
When the episode got underway, Reza and GG were trying to find out what was going on with the decor for the Winter Bell. They spoke to Kevin Lee about it.
GG dropped the bomb that Jessica had been contacting Mike’s mother and wanted to get back with Mike. Reza thought it would be a good idea for them to get back together.
If they couldn’t make it work the first time, why would it work the second? Didn’t they keep secrets from each other? Yeah, we’re totally not buying this.
Reza and Adam later visited Asa, and she said she did not want to be around the group because of all the negativity. The group always seems to get into alcohol-fueled arguments, and she’s so done with that.
Some people outgrow the days of fighting, and it sure sounds like Asa is done with that. Will the Bravo producers be able to find someone to be friends with her for Season 7?
Reza, as always, made his own assumption about her claims and took it as her saying she did not want to be around them anymore.
Reza then bickered with Adam at MJ’s home, but they tried to make it one of those quiet arguments. Reza then threatened to not have a child with Adam, and that’ when things went nuclear.
Why would you even threaten someone with that? It’s horrible. Will these two even make it to Season 7 as a couple?
At the party, everyone tried to get Mike’s mom to accept Jessica again, and we have no idea why. Jessica was the one who changed her whole lifestyle for her man.
He was out sleeping with anyone who would take him, and that’s why this whole storyline is absurd. Let’s move on from the convoluted crap, you guys.
In the end, Adam revealed to Reza that he struggled to move on from all the drama with the wedding, and the subsequent claims about not having a child.
Reza realized the error of his ways, and they finally buried the hatchet, but we have no idea how long this one will last.

Shahs of Sunset Season 6 Episode 12 Recap: Sex (Tips) In The City
Just because the group was on their break to New York City, it did not mean the drama did not follow them.
Shahs of Sunset Season 6 Episode 12 picked up in the aftermath of the significant proposal and the gang headed out to indulge in some ice stating the city.
In one of the fakest moments in the show’s history, Reza called Asa to invite her to an event back in LA. The odd thing about all of this is that Asa exiled herself from the group.
She wanted to lie about things and imply her life was perfect, but that was far from the point of having friends. She and MJ could have bonded over their treatment.
Instead, it pushed them further apart because of Asa’s blatant disregard for someone who was once her best friend. Reza’s phone call did not seem to do anything to right the ship.
Asa revealed that her energy levels were diminishing because of the pregnancy and that she felt like things were going to get worse for her until the baby was delivered.
The rest of the group concluded that she did not want to be asked about her pregnancy. She tried to stay apart from the group, and when you consider how quickly they burn bridges, maybe that’s a wise move.
Mike decided to stay off the ice and let everyone else have fun, but aside from MH and GG, none of them could skate. It was embarrassing watching them skate around as though they knew how to do it.
While everyone was having fun in New York City, Asa was struggling with her pregnancy. Her doctor told her it would make more sense for her to steer clear of her friends if they are adding to her stress levels.
Despite her blatant sadness, she found out that she was for sure having a boy, so that was one of the positives with her storyline in this otherwise somber episode.
The next morning, the group started digging Mike for staying out the whole night before. The last time I checked, he was a grown man, so giving him in trouble is a bit too far.
Not being the brightest person, GG thought it would be fun to sniff the underwear he wore the night before. It was bizarre, to say the least, and she automatically came to the conclusion he must have been with Jessica.
GG, MJ, and Reza had a chat a little later and seemed to thin Jessica wanted to get back with Mike. If you watch Shahs of Sunset online, you will already know that Jessica has made it very clear she is done with Mike after all of his lies.
This seemed like something thrown in at the order of a producer to ramp up the drama. It was apparently fake, and that’s not a good thing.
Just when it seemed like we were finally going to lay eyes on Tommy’s family, we found out it was his friends we were meeting. They helped him through the loss of his parents, so they were his family.
Back in LA, Destiney flipped out at Shervin for cheating, so he split up with Annalise via a video call. Yes, we are not kidding. The fakery is on full display this week, you guys.
Also, ASA met up with Latoya Jackson, and they chatted about the perks of being part of the same family. In the process, they had a look at some baby clothes to pass some time.
In the end, we got to see GG’s play, but MJ and Tommy decided to stay with Tommy’s friends. Shalom showed up at the play in the closing moments.
So, he’s not as bad as we first thought!
Over to you guys, what did you think of the latest installment?

Shahs of Sunset Season 6 Episode 11 Recap: The Shahs Take Manhattan
The Shahs are ready to take Manhattan by storm!
On Shahs of Sunset Season 6 Episode 11, everyone made their way to New York to support GG in her performance. We use the term “support” very loosely because we all know how much fighting this group does.
When the episode got underway, MJ and Tommy were still very much at odds. After they slept if off, MJ refused to accept responsibility for the way she acted, and it proved she was kind of delusional.
As id that was not bad enough, MJ leaped out of bed and started writing on the freshly painted wall. She wanted them, as a couple, to take some steps to fix their relationship. She also made it her mission to throw in some parenting classes.
Sweetie, you can’t even look after yourself.
In New York City, Shalom was mad about GG kissing another guy in the play, but what did he expect? She wants to be an actress, and that means she needs to play the part.
He went crazy and said he was leaving and heading home. Like, what the hell is this dude’s problem? You would think he would play nice for the cameras, but instead, he’s showing everyone his real character.
GG decided to ditch the play, but Mike told her she needed to do it because it would look bad on her, but she did not seem to want to do it.
MJ and Reza even suggested she lie to Shalom about everything. Another fight ensued, and Shalom left once again, leaving Mike to try and pick up the pieces.
The next morning, GG was engaged to Shalom, and all seemed right in the world. But, the proposal took place off-camera, so that’s not that good when these stars are allegedly showing their lives off for us.
Reza and Adam visited the rabbi, and he told them about his experience of surrogacy and how it is such a beautiful thing. This helped the two men change their stance on the whole thing and brought them to tears.
It all wrapped up with the group trying to egg Mike on to get back together with Jessica. Yes, maybe MJ is not the only deluded one in all of this.
Also, where the heck was Asa? Is she leaving the show? She gets less screen time every week.
What did you think of the episode?

Shahs of Sunset Season 6 Episode 10 Recap: The Lying Game
MJ wanted to have her first child, and she wanted to shout it from the rooftops after downing ten shots while renovating her home.
When Shahs of Sunset Season 6 Episode 10 got underway, MJ wanted to make sure her home was finally completed, and she felt like her designer would be integral to completing all of it promptly.
Reza showed up and said that the whole group would come together to get the painting completed and that’s exactly what happened.
Everyone aside from Asa was invited to help out with the big event, and everyone wanted to know why Asa was not asked. MJ opened up about her lies and that it was time for her to move on from Asa and all of her crazy drama.
Vida showed up and started throwing shade at Tommy because she still thought he was the wrong man for her daughter and that he was not up to the challenge of being a father.
This sent the drink-fueled renovation efforts into overdrive. MJ started bawling like a child when her mother refused to take $ 100,000 from her for retirement.
MJ thought it was disrespectful, but if she really had that amount of money to give away, you would think she would have had decorators in to deal with all of the paint.
Before long, MJ had a go at Tommy for saying he felt like they were not ready to have a child because there was still a lot of growing up to come.
MJ yelled that she knows men who would knock her up in thirty minutes, so she clearly had an idea that Tommy was going to bail at the last minute.
Destiney managed to get through to Tommy, and he revealed that he was worried about the child growing up without a parent. If you watch Shahs of Sunset online, you will know that his mother died of cancer when he was thirteen.
In the end, MJ essentially dumped him and said she was going to get knocked up. It was embarrassing, but should we have expected anything other than this to happen?
Meanwhile, Shervin dropped the bomb that he cheated on Annalise multiple times and his friends were so mad. They were concerned that Annalise was moving across the world to be with him.
He seemed to think the fact that she was on another continent while it happened made it okay, but it most definitely did not. Annalise should run and never look back.
Once a cheat, always a cheat and she is setting herself for disaster and embarrassment. MJ will likely drop the truth to her because she cannot seem to keep her mouth shut about anything these days.
Finally, Mike got some traction with his shoes for toddlers. Shoe Palace agreed to stock them in their stores on a trial basis, and he was ecstatic.
