The Walking Dead Season 6 Episode 1 Recap: Worst Laid Plans

It’s safe to say Rick’s plan to keep walkers out of Alexandria went badly on The Walking Dead Season 6 Episode 1.

Very badly. Terribly badly. Like, as badly as any plan could ever go. Ever.

The premiere of The Walking Dead Season 6 picked up with Deanna telling Gabriel he had been wrong about Rick.

Also, we saw Eugene being thrilled to see Tara… Enid holding Carl’s hand… Glenn lying about how and and Nicholas had been wounded in the woods… and Rick and Morgan committed to getting to know each other again.

As they were debating what to do with Pete’s body, these two discovered a bunch of walkers and were forced to save Ron, who had followed them to learn where his dad was buried.

Rick then proceeded to dig a grave, considering Pete’s son had seen and heard everything.

In Alexandria, Rick devised a plan to free the walkers they just trapped and lead them away from the city. Enter Carter, a local portrayed by Ethan Embry, who argued they should just build a wall around the community instead.

Deanna shot this idea down, leading Rick Abraham, Sasha, Daryl, Glenn and Nicholas to head off on Operation Free the Walkers.

Elsewhere, Tara was stunned to learn from Maggie that Nicholas had gotten Noah killed AND tried to murder Glenn. Why wasn’t Maggie pushing for exile?

Because she has grown close to Tara despite Tara’s history with The Governor, so there’s hope for anyone.

Eugene, meanwhile, was caught listening in to Carter talking other residents into actually killing Rick so they could reclaim their community. The organizer of this planned homicide was about to shoot Eugene when Rick, Daryl and Morgan walked; the former wrestling the gun away from Carter and aiming it at his head.

Morgan wasn’t a fan of this threat, though Rick did win some favor with him when he offered to let Morgan hold Judith and also invited him to move in with his family.

On to Rick’s plan: during a dry run, the walkers pushed a semi off a cliff, which prompted the survivors to just go ahead and act.

It was all going okay, too, until Carter got bitten in the face and Rick had to BREAK HIS NECK (in front of Morgan and Michonne) to ensure the victim’s screams draw the walkers away from the path everyone had worked to send them down.

Morgan and Michonne reluctantly followed Rick’s orders after this kill, making it look as if everything would end well… until a horn blared, drawing the walkers toward the sound – and we saw the sound was coming from Alexandria.

WTH?!?

Amber Rose-Blac Chyna Reality Show: Already Kaput!

Amber Rose and Blac Chyna have abruptly pulled the plug on their big reality show, which was supposed to premiere later this year or early next.

Apparently, they’re both so busy doing other things they just don’t have time for this project. That’s the company line they’re sticking to, anyway.

According to TMZ, however, the two just had a falling out.

The two (former?) best friends are telling friends that they have too many other projects in the works that prevent them from teaming up.

As for what those are, who the hell knows; Amber says she’s “in the process” of getting her own talk show, which is the first we’ve heard of that.

Blac Chyna, meanwhile, speaks of various “product deals.”

For what it’s worth, Amber held her Slut Walk in downtown L.A. last weekend and BFF Blac was a no show, because she was hanging with Future.

Insiders say Rose was irate that her bestie skipped her big event and that led – indirectly or directly – to her putting the kibosh on the reality show.

There are also rumors floating around that the Kardashians wanted to torpedo the Rose-Chyna show and threatened legal action if they were spoken of.

Blac, of course, is the former fiancee and baby mama of Tyga, the mediocre rapper currently putting it to Kylie Jenner, and recurring foil for that duo.

It’s not clear if Kardashian threats or scare tactics played any role in the show going from full throttle to DOA in a matter of weeks, but we doubt it.

If anything, they would welcome the beef to drive up ratings, and Rose in particular has vocally and bluntly taken on the powerful family in the past.

The more likely explanation is that they simply hate each other, though that could always change, and we’ll always have the Blac-Kylie Instagram feud:

Once Upon a Time Season 5 Episode 3 Recap: Lancelot Lives!

Look out, Storybrooke.

As made evident on Once Upon a Time Season 5 Episode 3, Emma is on a mission to get Excalibur and snuff out her light forever.

In need of a hero to yank the famous sword out of its resting place, Emma turned to Hook, who knows a lot about Dark Ones and saw right through her plan.

“I loved you,” he told Emma when challenged to profess his feelings, making the past tense clear and asking the Dark Swan what she is really after.

In both Storybrooke and Camelot, meanwhile, it’s made pretty clear that the King isn’t as noble as initially assumed, considering he stole the crimson toadstool from Charming during a mission to track down an item that would allow them to speak to Merlin.

Arthur jumped (too enthusiastically?) at the chance to help David with this quest, as the latter quickly took fondly to the former.

The King’s motives are not entirely clear at this point, but he did offer David a spot on his Round Table.

Mary Margaret is proud of her man for his seat among the honored Knights, but then her attention is diverted but someone else there: Lancelot! Somehow alive!

Arthur tried to sound humble in explaining the awkward situation between himself, Guinevere and Lancelot… but the presumed-dead knight tells it different.

He speaks of corruption and greed and a ruthless leader who will do anything possible to remain in charge of his kingdom.

Finally, Belle arrived at Rumple’s bedside after the rose revealed to her that he was waking up from his coma… only to find he had done AWOL.

Thanks to Emma?

We can only assume Belle will go off on her own quest to find out and we can’t wait to watch that unfold.

Sister Wives Recap: So Many Girls, Only One Kody

Kody Brown, literally up to his elbows in women, attempted to bond with his youngest daughters on an all-new episode of Sister Wives this week.

At one point on Sister Wives Season 6 Episode 8, the Brown patriarch and his girls ended up in a situation one of the wives was not a big fan of.

Having a blast on a California beach trip is great and all, but Robyn Brown wishes her hubby would have individual heart to hearts with them instead.

Previously acknowledging that he didn’t have the best relationship with his girls, Kody came up with this road trip/beach idea as a way to fix that.

“This will allow us to hang out and bond,” Ysabel, one of the five companions, explained. “I’m excited to go somewhere all alone with dad.”

“It’ll be nice to have dad all to ourselves,” Savannah added.

You know you have a big family when “only” five of you go somewhere together and you legitimately consider that “all to ourselves” or “all alone.”

That’s no surprise if you watch Sister Wives online, though. When you have four wives and 17 kids, well, taking it down to just five kids is relaxing!

Meanwhile, Maddie Brown explained to Robyn and Meri, Kody’s first sister wife, why she wasn’t being allowed to get baptized by the LDS:

“They called me and said it was too contradictory and they hope I reconsider [joining the church] when we’re not such a public family.”

Maddie elaborates that the LDS church, which banned polygamy a century ago, wouldn’t accept her unless she would “publicly disown” her family.

“That’s so unfair,” Robyn responds, and we kind of agree.

Maddie reveals she’s now struggling with her faith.

“My beliefs don’t fit a religion other than the Mormon Church,” says Maddie, who is engaged to one man and does not plan to be in a plural marriage.

“And now I don’t want to join the Mormon Church,”

Elsewhere, Meri Brown confronted Janelle about partaking in therapy sessions and they both decided it was time to help mend their rocky relationship.

The two agree that they would like to find peace and find a way through the “turbulence” that has occurred from the “beginning of the relationship.”

“So what was the problem all these years? I don’t know,” Janelle says, presumably serious, as though plural marriage isn’t the long and short of it.

To each their own, but just saying.
