Big Brother Recap: Is It Time For Frank To Go?

There’s always that one person that over plays the game of Big Brother.

The person doing that this season is Frank. He’s got deals with all of the houseguests and has even resorted to taking out one of his own this week.

What did he do when someone other than him won the HOH? He manipulated them.

It seems like his reign of terror could be coming to a conclusion. Bridgette is a fool if she believed his reasons for nominating Bronte. It was only a few hours earlier that he lied to her face and said he did not do the deed.

Big Brother is a game built on trust and Frank has already proven that he’s the least trustworthy person in the house. Right now, the most honest person is Natalie.

James knew he would be putting heat on her by announcing that Frank was the Road Kill winner. Natalie did not tell her alliance members. That doesn’t make her a bad person.

It means she trusts James enough to know that him telling her it could blow up his game, so it was a wise decision to keep quiet about it. There’s also a huge chance that if anyone came down from the block, she’d be going up.

Natalie no doubt harmed her alliance a little. Bronte and Bridgette aren’t silly. They knew something wasn’t right with Natalie when she wouldn’t open up about her conversation with James.

Bronte went a little too far when she pursued the answers from James. James is a nice person, but I’m sure he could easily sway his alliance to take Bronte out of the equation if need be.

If Bronte told anyone that James told Frank, Bronte would be the one made to look bad. She’s already on the block, so she shouldn’t be making these waves in the house.

Paul just seems to be floating on by, but he knows that Frank is up to something. Frank has proven that he’s the one running the house based on the fact he keeps telling Paul that he’s safe.

In an ideal world, Paul would win the next HOH and shake the game up. He knows that Frank’s loyalty only extends as far as the power goes.

Tiffany finally realized that she was the target and fought to win the veto, but she just can’t seem to win a damn competition.

The competition looked super easy and Bridgette emerged as the victor, but she hurt herself in the process, so she’s now parading around the house in crutches.

Obviously Frank was straight in the room with her when she returned and informed her that they need to keep nominations the same. Bridgette followed through with his plan because she knew that she would have to put Natalie up.

How will the live eviction go down this week?

Josh Duggar to Offer Televised Apology For Sex Scandals?!

Back when it was first announced that TLC would be picking up a full season of Jill & Jessa: Counting On, the network assured viewers that disgraced eldest son Josh Duggar would not be appearing on the show.

However, now that execs have ordered a second season of Counting On, but failed to offer a similar guarantee, some fans are growing concerned that they may be subjected to a televised Josh apology tour.

Making matters worse is a new report from In Touch that definitively claims Josh will be appearing in an upcoming episode of his family’s comeback reality series.

“Josh will appear on the next season of his sisters’ series,” a source tells the tabloid.

“The plan is for him to address everything he’s done. What he has to say will be ratings gold, and TLC – and the Duggars – know it.”

Well, we suppose it could be ratings gold.

But it seems just as likely that the move would result in widespread public outrage and perhaps even a boycott of the network.

Already, several corporations have pulled their advertising dollars from TLC after learning their commercials appeared during broadcasts of Counting On

To the surprise of no one except the Duggars, the public has, for the most part, proven unwilling and unable to forget that this is the same family that harbored a child molester and helped him avoid punishment for his crimes.

While an episode in which Josh tells his side of the story would likely draw big numbers for the network, the ensuing fallout would be catastrophic.

It seems unlikely that the execs at TLC would be willing to take such a risk.

Then again, many felt that way about allowing the family to return to television at all.

And here we are talking about a second season…

Katy Perry Throws MAJOR Shade at Taylor Swift Following Calvin Harris Rant

In case you somehow haven’t heard, it’s been a rough day for Taylor Swift.

It all started when TMZ reported that Taylor dumped Calvin Harris as a direct result of a dispute involving his hit song “This Is What You Came For.”

Things really turned ugly when Harris confirmed the rumors and slammed Swift in a lengthy Twitter rant.

Harris’ tirade resulted in the “Taylor Swift Is Over Party,” in which angry members of Team Calvin reveled in what they perceived to be the downfall of one of the world’s most successful singers.

Throughout the “party” we couldn’t help but wonder what Taylor’s most famous rival, Katy Perry, thought about the situation.

Well, as expected KP is finally offering some insights into her take on Taylor’s terrible, horrible, no-good, very bad day.

And naturally, she used her favorite method of communication – the Hillary Clinton meme:

In case that shade was too subtle for you, Katy also retweeted a post that she originally wrote back in May that reads:

“Time, the ultimate truth teller.”

Yes, it seems no one is enjoying the post-Taylor party more than Katy.

Mind you, Taylor isn’t actually “over” – very far from it, in fact.

She is – and will likely remain for the foreseeable future – one of the most popular entertainers on the planet.

But with 90 million followers, Katy is the undisputed Queen of Twitter.

And as they proved today, her Katy Cats have claws.
