Amber Portwood and Matt Baier: Will They Still Get Married ... or is This the End?

With Amber Portwood and Matt Baier’s wedding canceled, as she confirmed this week, Teen Mom Nation is now asking the obvious:

Will these two get married? Ever?

All year, the revelation that Matt Baier has eight kids from previous relationships has caused the MTV couple behind-the-scenes drama.

They put on a good front for the most part, with Matt claiming that Portwood “knew everything” about his past, and it was not an issue.

Not necessarily the case.

To that end, it was both shocking and not at all shocking when Portwood confirmed that their planned fall nuptials have been shelved.

“Honestly, I tried to stay neutral in the whole situation because I didn’t know what was going on yet,” Amber admitted in an interview.

Staying neutral?

About the man she plans to marry? She admits that sounds unusual, but explains her thought process: “I didn’t know what the truth was.”

“I didn’t want to make a rash decision,” she said, based on celebrity gossip reports or merely “on something that everyone else was saying.”

“Everything got thrown on the back burner when stuff happened,” Amber said, leaving her fans wondering if this is the end for them.

Not so fast.

While Amber, 26, admits this has been a “really hard time” in their relationship, don’t stick a fork in her romance with Matt, 44, just yet.

“I didn’t want to base my decision, you know, him 5 to 10 years ago, so we went through a rough patch,” she told OK Magazine exclusively.

“Honestly, it was a really hard time in our relationship,” Portwood acknowledges, “cause I didn’t approve of anything that he did in his past.”

“We’ve been working through it and we are actually doing a lot better. I think our trust is starting to build again … you know it was really hard.”

Engaged since 2014, Amber and Matt were planning to wed this October until she postponed it. She says that’s all it is, though – postponed.

Not off the table for good.

“We don’t have a set date anymore but we still want to get married,” the MTV star said. “There’s so much going on, we postponed it.”

“I know for sure I want a destination wedding in Malibu. I want it on the beach,” she adds. “I do want to get married within the next year.”

As for a TV wedding?

“I would definitely love to share it with my fans. I have the greatest fans of all,” she said, which is good news if you watch Teen Mom online.

There’s no doubt that fans would tune in – this is going to be a major focal point of Teen Mom Season 6, as Portwood herself teased.

We can also see Amber supporters rally around her, despite their suspicious and misgivings about Baier, if they really can make it work.

Still, you have to wonder if they’re really in such a good place, or if Matt simply has too much baggage for this to last for the long haul.

Eight kids. That’s not only a huge responsibility, but beyond that, you can’t help but ask if he has the right amount of personal integrity.

What do you think?

Colton Haynes: My Dad Killed Himself Because I"m Gay

Colton Haynes holds absolutely nothing back in a new interview with Out Magazine.

The actor (Arrow, Teen Wolf) makes it pretty clear in the feature article that he’s more content than ever after having come out as a gay man in Hollywood.

But he also explains how this was the end of a difficult struggle that started at home.

And he even goes into detail about his father’s suicide.

“I’m the last person in the world who would say, ‘Oh, my dad – pity me,” Haynes tells the publication.

“But I was told that my dad killed himself because he found out I was gay.

“So, of course, I lost it and was like, ‘How could you say something like that?"”

It’s unclear just who did tell Haynes this heartbreaking information, while it will remain unclear forever whether or not it’s accurate.

“No one will ever really know the truth,” he says, adding:

“But my brother and my mom went to pick up my dad’s stuff, and the only picture on his fridge was my eighth-grade graduation picture.

“So I was just like, ‘F—,’ ” said the Kansas native, who came out to his family and classmates at age 14.

That would most likely be right when Haynes was in eighth grade.

Haynes came out as gay to the public, meanwhile, in May.

Chatter over his sexuality had started in January after a few modeling pictures went viral, with Haynes telling Entertainment Weekly that anxiety over going public forced him into rehab.

“It took me so long to get to this point, but I’m doing so good,” Haynes said this spring.

“I’m happier than I’ve ever been, and healthier than I’ve ever been, and that’s what I care about.”

Why did it take the 28-year old so long to make this admission?

“I feel really bad that I had to lie for so long, But I was told that was the only way I was going to be successful,” he admits to Out.

“When you’re young in this industry, people take advantage of you, and they literally tell you that your dreams are going to come true. If you believe that, you’ll do anything.

“And you do believe it, especially if you’re from Kansas.”

Haynes moved to Tinseltown at 17.

Even after coming out, he was criticized by Noah Galvin for somehow doing it the wrong way.

(Galvin later apologized to Haynes and to the LGBT community.)

Haynes says he has not been in a relationship in ages.

His ideal man is a combination of John Cena, Idris Elba and Ryan Reynolds.

We assume he’s kidding (well, serious, but kidding), as he added to Out of his dream mate:

“[It would be] someone who just descended from a mountain and said, ‘I don’t have any friends. Would you like to come live with me?’

“I’d love that. I want to somehow have a happy ending. Or a happy beginning.”

We hope Colton Haynes finds one.

Lamar Odom: Still Struggling To Stay Sober?

Lamar Odom still has a long road to recovery, but he has one more person in his corner making sure that happens.

Long Island-based trainer Oneil Pryce is an old friend of Odom’s, and offered his expertise to help the former NBA star stay sober and get in shape.

Pryce gave Us Weekly an update on Odom’s progress, something the public has been wondering about since he was kicked off a Delta flight on July 11th for being too drunk.

“From what I know [he’s not drinking], because right now he is focused and that is the state I have him in right now,” Pryce told Us.

“I have been letting him know that [this] is going to be a rough road, a hard road,” Pryce said, referring to Odom’s October 2015 overdose that left him in a coma.

“And one thing he has to do is make sure that the partying, the drinking, all of that stuff, is going to be tough on his body.  So right now, he has been drinking his water, staying low key and pretty much staying out of sight of everybody else, all of the negative stuff.”

Pryce warned that though Odom might look fine, his body is still recovering.

“He might look physically fit on the outside, but on the inside, you have to understand, his liver has been through a lot, his kidney has been through a lot, and his heart has been through a lot,” the trainer explained.

“I’m just trying to show him it is one day at a time … Just two, three months ago, people were saying you weren’t going to walk again, you weren’t going to live. So, just to be where you are right now, you are doing good.”

Pryce is helping Odom focus on staying positive and “keeping his mental state high.”

Knowing that his friend has been through hell, Pryce encourages the Queens native to weed out the negative influences in his life.

“He [has] certain people around him that I am trying to get him away from, and just keeping him positive,” Pryce said.

Jinger Duggar & Jeremy Vuolo: Violating Courtship Rules AGAIN?!

It’s only been six weeks since we first learned that Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo are courting.

Shortly thereafter, Jinger and Jeremy got engaged, so needless to say, they’re following Duggar tradition when it comes to speeding past relationship milestones at breakneck speed. But are they breaking her family’s rules in other ways?

That’s a photo of Jinger and Jeremy that Jill Duggar posted on Instragram yesterday.

(As far as we can tell, Jinger is still not allowed to have her own social media accounts.)

Jill captioned the pic:

“Goodbyes are so tough! I remember those days! Loved getting to hang out with these lovebirds yesterday,”

It may all look innocent enough at first, but as with everything the Duggars do there’s a scandal bubbling just under the surface.

Of course, this one is only an issue because of the family’s own ludicrously strict rules governing relationships and sexuality.

Duggar obsessives have picked the pic apart like it’s footage of the freakin’ Kennedy assassination, and what they found may shock you to your very core.

But only if your last name starts with “D” and ends with “-uggar.”

You see, the Duggars forbid “front hugs” prior to marriage, as Jesus expressly forbade the mingling of premarital genitals separated only by twin layers of denim, or some such nonsense.

Only hand-holding and “side-hugs” are permitted so as not to arouse those sinful urges.

Some fans believe what’s pictured above qualifies as a front hug, and they’re all like:

“Hope those three seconds were worth an eternity in HELL, missy!”

Believe it or not, this isn’t even the first time that Jinger and Jeremy have broken courtship rules.

No word yet on when they’ll be getting married, but we assume the ceremony will take place in the First Ozzy Osbourne Temple of Satan.
