Law enforcement sources confirm that an officer saw the Drake swerving and speeding after abruptly stopping at a red light.
Bell was driving 55 in a 35 m.p.h. zone at the time.
When the police pulled him over, a smell of alcohol coming from the 29-year-old’s vehicle was enough to get their attention.
Officials say Bell failed an on-site sobriety test and was rung up on DUI charges. After nearly ten hours in the can, he was released.
Drake is free on $ 20,000 bond.
