Mark Salling is in major trouble with the law.
In troubling news first broken by Crime Watch Daily, Salling was arrested early Tuesday morning at his home in Sunland, California.
The former Glee star has been charged with possession of child pornography.
There are not many details available at the time of this writing.
However, the LAPD’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force reportedly obtained a search warrant and used it inside Salling’s residence.
According to TMZ, they found “hundreds of images” on the actor’s computer, purportedly of underage children in various states of undress and/or in the middle of sexual acts of some kind.
This is not Salling’s first run-in with the law.
In early 2013, Salling was accused of committing sexual battery against Roxanne Gorzela.
She claimed at the time that he forced her to have sex without a condom.
Salling denied the charges and counter-sued Gorzela; the two eventually settled in court, with a judge ordering Salling to pay Gorzela $ 2.7 million in damages.
Neither Salling nor anyone in the star’s camp has commented on the latest charge.
Salling, 33, is best known for playing Noah Puckerman on the Fox hit Glee from 2009-2015.
