Let the Pretty Little Liars movie talk officially begin!
Just a few weeks before this ABC Family favorite returns with the back half of Season 6, series creator I. Marlene King has confirmed plans to bring it to an end.
In a new interview with Variety, King is asked the following question:
“So you definitely want it to end at the end of season 7, and don’t want it to go beyond that?”
“Correct,” the executive producer answers simply.
Back in August, viewers finally learned the identity of the villainous A to be Vanessa Ray’s character CeCe Drake, who turned out to actually be Alison’s older brother, Charles.
See… he transitioned into Charlotte and later went by the name CeCe… and, yeah. It’s complicated.

The show will return on Tuesday, January 12 with a unique five-year time jump.
It will feature Hanna being engaged, Emily holding a huge secret, Spencer working in D.C. and plenty of other significant changes.
“I think that this story when we’re back will end next year at the end of season 7,” King told Variety when asked about the time jump.
