The surest sign that a couple will soon be engaged is ____.
This is the logic tabloids have been applying to Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani"s nearly five-month courtship.
Report after report claims that Stefani is carrying Shelton"s child, or that Shelton is so totally ready to propose to his former Voice co-judge.
As I write this, I"m flipping back and forth between a few stories having to do with Shelton spending time with Stefani and her sons in LA, and his eagerness to put a ring on her finger.
Gossip Cop showed a Snapchat of Shelton pitching to Stefani"s sons (off-camera).
Thanks to the magic of social media, Stefani showcased her weekend with the four gentlemen, which involved pool time at her gorgeous hillside home, napping and cooking.
A few weeks ago, Us Weekly was convinced that Shelton would propose to Stefani STAT.
“Gwen is everything he wants," a source said.
True, she"s a friggin" catch, but there hasn"t been an engagement yet.
Another source told People that Stefani thinks of her beau as "the biggest blessing," adding that "they share both good life experience, like work, and bad ones, like their divorces.
"They seem too perfect for each other for it to just be fluke," the source pointed out.
"For now, they seem happy with their relationship, but Blake is old-fashioned and a future engagement seems very possible."
Stefani told the New York Times that meeting Shelton was magic.
They both “had been going through literally the exact same thing in literally the exact same time frame,” Stefani explained, adding that that their relationship went through several emotional stages.
“We had anger, we had sadness, we had flirtation, we had sexy, and now we’re madly in love,” she said. “Never in my wildest, craziest dreams would I ever have seen this coming."
