Following The Voice results of a week ago, when Emily Keener was ousted, 11 singers remained heading into Tuesday night’s program.
As the competition hits the stretch run, it’s getting harder and harder to survive. And it only become more challenging in weeks to come.
After Monday’s always-impressive live performances, the top 11 contestants on Season 10 of The Voice faced elimination last night.
The results were determined solely by viewers’ votes and iTunes downloads. No help from the coaches, other than to persuade fans.
Coaches Christina Aguilera, Pharrell, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton could only sit, watch, hope, pray and urge America to get it right.
Did they? Let’s break down The Voice results …
Declared SAFE based on America’s votes:
Mary Sarah (Team Blake)
Nick Hagelin (Team Christina)
Laith Al-Saadi (Team Adam)
Alisan Porter (Team Christina)
Hannah Huston (Team Pharrell)
Paxton Ingram (Team Blake)
Shalyah Fearing (Team Adam)
Adam Wakefield (Team Blake)
Bryan Bautista (Team Christina)
That left Daniel Passino (Team Pharrell) in the bottom two to sing for his life against Owen Danoff (Team Adam) for a chance to advance.
Owen bungling his lyrics and sounding off-key on the climactic note actually made it a fairly easy #InstantSave for America this week.
Danoff is out. Passano is not.
What did you think of The Voice results? Did America get it right? Are you happy Owen is going home and Daniel is moving on?
Moreover, who do you think will take it all the way to the finals this year and be named The Voice? Whose team stands the best chance?
