Earlier this week, fans were shocked to learn that Megan Fox was pregnant with her third child.
Of course, a pregnancy is often regarded as a joy, but since the actress filed for divorce from her husband Brian Austin Green last August, the expectancy was a little… unexpected.
For days there was no word on who the father was, although Fox shared a composite pic to Instagram confirming who it wasn’t (Will Arnett, Shia LaBeouf, Jake Johnson).
Now, Green has stepped forward and all but claimed his title as the baby daddy.
“You know, nothing is planned,” he told People during an interview. “None of them are ever planned. You kind of just go with it.”
“At my age, to be having three babies is crazy,” he added. “I’ll be 43 this year.”
The Beverly Hills 90210 alum already shares two sons, Noah and Bodhi, with Fox. The couple have been together for 11 years – five of them married.
While the pregnancy may have been a surprise, the pair will reportedly be putting their divorce on hold for the time being.
A source close to the couple affirmed they are delighted with the news and will raise the child together.
“They are looking forward for the arrival of their new baby,” the source said.
