On Teen Mom OG Season 5 Episode 12, a couple prepared to tie the knot, but that wasn’t the only notable event on the MTV hit.
Not by a long shot.
Would Farrah’s latest altercation with producers spell the end of her time on the show on Teen Mom OG Season 5 Episode 12?
Would Tyler man up and get his father into rehab? Would Amber be able to handle the bombshell she had to drop on Leah?
If you watch Teen Mom OG online, you recall that Ryan Edwards and Mackenzie Standifer’s first wedding day was … unusual.
They married in a parking lot with only his parents on hand, with Ryan having driven there high as a kite no less. On camera.
Obviously, they still have plenty of issues and obstacles to overcome, but this time, at least there was no wedding controversy.
Fans may be a little upset, though, by the fact that before the ceremony, Ryan Edwards was seen drinking with his groomsmen.
Harmless? Perhaps, but for a man with obvious addiction issues, it’s sure to raise red flags with some viewers, for good reason.
Asked about his wedding vows, Ryan told his friends, “I don’t care, it’s not like it’s got to be perfect.” They were pretty close.
“I promise to always love you, be your best friend, I promise to be faithful and always be there for you,” he told Mackenzie.
Standifer had a prepared speech. Slightly awkward.
Later, Ryan admitted to his wife that he’s drunk; Edwards and Standifer proceeded to take shots and talk about their financial situation.
Ryan’s father then gave a speech that made him cry.
That was pretty emotional, as was the scene last night were Tyler Baltierra’s long-troubled father, Butch, finally enters rehab.
Butch cried when he learned that his son had come up with the exorbitant amount of money to cover the treatment, in full.
At the rehab center, one of the administrators says to Tyler that it’s probably been a long time since he’s really met his dad.
“I don’t think I’ve ever met him,” he responds.
For his part, Butch confessed that he’s done “a lot” of cocaine and crack in life and was on drugs as recently as “3-4 days ago.”
Terrifying. Speaking of family drama, Farrah Abraham put her differences with her mother aside to celebrate Debra‘s birthday.
At least she tried. Could it possibly last?
Deb pleads for Farrah to attend her wedding, which Sophia finally decides she’s allowed to, so that’s a step in the right direction.
However, after Abraham’s “vaginal rejuvenation” (seriously), Deb was left waiting in the car for a half hour as Farrah got ready.
When she finally got in the car, Farrah proceeded to freak the f–k out on a producer for reasons that weren’t entirely clear.
While Farrah’s insane treatment of producers has been well documented, it’s never not amazing to watch it play out on TV.
“If you can’t get along with anyone or try to or get in my way of how I live my f–king life,” she says, “then do not work with me.”
“F–k you and your excuses.”
Farrah Abraham, ladies and gentlemen. Never a dull moment or an episode that passes without a complete meltdown.
