Amanda Stanton Talks Robby Hayes, Josh Murray, & Becoming the Bachelorette!

Amanda Stanton finished her latest tour of Bachelor in Paradise last fall, but fans have questions.

Has she spoken to that cheater Robby Hayes? For that matter, is she in touch with Josh Murray? Will she answer the hopes and dreams of countless fans by becoming the next leading lady of The Bachelorette?

Finally, Amanda is speaking out and, believe it or not, answering all of those questions.

Amanda Stanton won a lot of fans on the 20th season of The Bachelor, but it was Lauren Bushnell who won the heart of Ben Higgins.

You know, for a while.

Amanda then went on to Bachelor in Paradise, where she and Josh Murray became a couple. Unfortunately, their breakup was so dramatically unpleasant that police were called.

Yikes.

This last season of Bachelor on Paradise didn’t do her much good, either.

Not only did she have to defend herself against mom-shamers for appearing on the show, she didn’t exactly get a happy ending.

She became romantically entangled with Robby Hayes.

Unfortunately, he allegedly became “entangled” with someone else.

Amanda Stanton tweeted a photo of Robby’s cheating to prove it to the world.

A lot of nonsense goes on in Paradise; that’s basically the point of the show. But we should all be able to agree that Amanda deserves better.

Well, Amanda Stanton opened up to Us Weekly about the many topics that have aroused the curiosity of fans.

For starters, she is so not talking to Robby Hayes.

Josh Murray, despite the drama in their past, is another story.

“I talk to Josh here and there.”

She is, at first, cautious about talking about this. She doesn’t want to give false hope to shippers.

“I mean nothing more than a friendly conversation.”

But Amanda and Josh are on what we’d call unusually good terms for a pair of exes.

She acknowledges that things were bad when they ended things, but emphasizes that things are so much better, now.

“We had such a bad breakup, and so it’s nice to just not have that drama anymore and just be cool with each other.”

Gwen Stefani wrote a whole dang song about that. (“Cool” is, in fact, my favorite song of hers)

“Because he was around my kids and we did have a good relationship for the most part. So it’s good to be on good terms.”

In fact, she and said children (Kinsley and Charlie) apparently FaceTimed Josh Murray after her return from this past season in Paradise.

But then comes the big question. The one that matters.

Those men are in her past, but what lies in her future? Might she be The Bachelorette?

Amanda shatters the hearts of fans as she sounds very certain that she’ll no longer be looking for love on camera.

“I’m done for sure.”

Heartbreaking. But she makes it clear that this isn’t sour grapes speaking.

“I’m so grateful for the opportunity, and like overall I had such a good experience and don’t regret anything.”

Still, her air of finality remains.

“But I think I’m done.”

“I’ve had my fair share of chances.”

Does she really believe that she missed her chance to find love on screen? Or is she just sick of having her heartbreak broadcast to the world?

For the record, she spoke to Us Weekly at a speed dating event, so her brand is at least still tied to the quest for love.

But it sounds to us like Amanda was mostly just being dismissive of returning for yet another season of Bachelor in Paradise.

If she got an offer to become the Bachelorette … would she really turn that down?

We’re not so sure.

The Bachelorette Season 14: Who Could It Be?

If nothing else, the selection of Arie Luyendyk Jr. to play the leading man on The Bachelor shows that anyone can be in that role. Seriously, anyone.

But who will fill Rachel Lindsay"s shoes in the next season of The Bachelorette?

Obviously, we don"t expect to know right away. And there"s always a chance that a few viable candidates will emerge from among the contestants on Arie"s season of The Bachelor.

That doesn"t mean that we can"t consider the possibilities, though. Because the Bachelor Nation has some very strong candidates already.

Some of these women are beloved by the Bachelor Nation. Others are … we don"t want to say reviled, but they don"t necessarily foster warm feelings with potential viewers. We shouldn"t dismiss their entertainment value, however.

So let"s look at who it might be!

Of course, since showrunners apparently chose Arie Luyendyk Jr. in part because they worried that it was too easy for fans to guess who would be next, maybe we"re disqualifying all of these ladies just by mentioning their names.

We hope not.

1. Kristina Schulman

Kristina schulman is gorgeous

This girl won a lot of sympathy on Bachelor in Paradise during her love triangle with Dean Unglert. While his reputation sunk, her star has never been brighter. Should she become the Bachelorette?

2. Vanessa Grimaldi

Vanessa grimaldi and the sunset

You might be thinking that they’d never cast Vanessa, because she and Nick only JUST broke up. Well, Arie Luyendyk Jr. had a girlfriend until just a couple of days before he was announced as the Bachelor. The real question is, since Rachel Lindsay was just the Bachelorette, would they have two leading ladies back-to-back who hate each other?

3. Corinne Olympios

Corinne olympios in a bikini in a pond

Hear us out on this one. The scandal on Bachelor in Paradise this summer wasn’t her fault or DeMario’s. She’s still entertaining and seeing her be the Bachelorette would be the stuff of dreams. She has a heart of gold and a platimun vagine — literally what more could you ask for? Plus, there’s a chance that she’s already in talks for it.

4. Ashley Iaconetti

Ashley iaconetti

She’s been on The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise and she knows how to stay relevant even between seasons. Some might question her star power, but she could very well have what it takes to be the leading lady.l

5. Andi Dorfman

Andi dorfman beautiful and fun

“But she was already The Bachelorette!” Yes. But, especially given that it resulted in a tumultuous relationship with Josh Murray, doesn’t she deserve another bite at the apple?

6. Amanda Stanton

Amanda stanton flaunts her summer hair

Amanda dismissed the idea of becoming the Bachelorette, but … that could be a deliberate deflection. She’s gorgeous, she’s a mom, and she’d be great in that role.

Corinne Olympios: The Next Bachelorette?!

The world has seen the infamous Bachelor in Paradise hookup between Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson, and heard from everybody involved.

We think that the Bachelor Nation is pretty much ready to move on.

And, apparently, so is Corinne herself. Some of what she said has led people to ask if she’s going to be the lead on The Bachelorette.

First of all, can you imagine what a jaw-dropping, intense season of The Bachelorette we’d have if Corinne Olympios plays the lead?

This is the woman who famously took off her top in the pool on a group date, because honestly she’s kind of an unsung hero.

Seriously, when she isn’t blacked out thanks to an unforeseen interaction of alcohol with her prescription meds, Corinne knows what she wants and she goes after it.

Imagine her with a couple dozen suitors or so, all vying for her hand.

Imagine how many ridiculous gifs we’d get from that season.

So, yeah, even the slightest hint that Corinne might star on The Bachelorette makes our eyes widen with delight.

During a recent interview with The Insider, Corinne was asked if she’d ever consider returning in some form to a Bachelor series.

Specifically, as the Bachelorette.

Instead of a simple “sure, I’d consider that,” or “no, that’s not for me,” Corinne replied by looking past the reporter at someone else and asking:

“Am I allowed to answer this?”

Whoa!

Generally speaking, you don’t ask if you’re allowed to do anything unless you’re at least in talks to do something, whether it’s to get a book published or, say, star on a reality series in which multiple men compete to win your heart.

Now, the reporter kept asking Corinne about that, thank goodness.

To respond to the very specific question of: “Are you already the Bachelorette,” Corinne finally answered.

“No! Oh my God! No!”

First of all, the word “already” is a clue.

Corinne might be in talks to be the Bachelorette, but there might be others.

After all of the totally unwarranted slut-shaming that Corinne endured (no wonder she said that she was a victim of the media!), what better apology could producers offer her than a starring role?

Also, Corinne’s been known to play things close to the vest — that’s how she was about Bachelor in Paradise before it was announced that she’d be on it.

She could even be straight-up lying to keep to her NDA.

Interestingly, the actual interview itself was about a very different project that Corinne is working on.

She’s apparently going to be part of a scripted series.

Corinne teases that it’s going to be about “Dating and this new kind of life,” which is vague as hell but definitely piques our interest.

It’s always possible that Corinne could appear on another show in the Bachelor franchise and also have this scripted gig launch.

(She wouldn’t be the first person to make the leap from reality star to scripted acting)

We can’t wait to see what she gets up to next.

The Bachelor and Bachelorette Couples: Who"s Actually Still Together?

The Bachelor"s 2017 season came to a close with Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi engaged and totally, utterly, blissfully in love.

Or something. Judging by the reaction of fans and Bachelor Nation members, their breakup would be immediate if not sooner.

They turned out to be correct.

Nick and Vanessa broke up Friday, August 25, after just five months. It turns out he was more into fame and didn"t want to move to Canada.

We know, who would"ve EVER seen that coming. At least Nick"s latest breakup gave us The Bachelorette season starring Rachel Lindsay.

This summer, Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo got engaged, and while fans aren"t hugely enthralled with him, they too seem in love.

Will they be the new golden couple for the franchise, a la Trista and Ryan, Ashley and J.P., Jason and Molly and Desiree and Chris?

Or another Juan Pablo and Nikki Ferrell, Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray, Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff? Or … Nick and Vanessa?

Sorry, too soon. The point is, we can"t help but wonder as we ponder the future: Who is living happily ever after? Who is not?

You don"t need The Bachelor spoilers to tell you that the "made it" list is a lot shorter than the other, though there are exceptions.

A final rose does not a future make. Perhaps Bryan and Rachel will surprise, but with this track record, and human nature in general?

We"re not betting on it. Just saying.

Take a look at some notable duos from The Bachelor and Bachelorette and see whether they"re still together since the show:

1. Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo

Rachel lindsay engagement ring

Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo are a match made in heaven … or are they? Bachelor Nation seemed to prefer runner-up Peter Kraus, but Rachel went with the smooth (too smooth for some fans’ liking) doctor from Miami at the last minute. If Bryan didn’t watch the finale, which centered primarily on Peter waffling over his willingness to propose and Rachel being hung up on him? Then they might be alright.

2. Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi

Nick and vanessa on atfr

Look … we wish Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi all the best. That was just the least inspiring public debut from a Bachelor couple since Juan Pablo and Nikki. Also, it’s Nick Viall. Guy seems to have been bitten hard by the fame bug, and Vanessa doesn’t want to leave Canada. Just saying. The odds make them a definite underdog.

3. JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers

Jordan rodgers and jojo fletcher after the final rose

JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers are an interesting case, both seemingly over the moon in love and behind the proverbial eight ball since day one. They certainly seem to have weathered whatever storms have been in their path thus far, but it’s still in the “honeymoon” phase, and we can’t shake the feeling that there’s more to Aaron’s little brother than we know – or that JoJo does at this point. Chances they’ll make it to the altar? 50-50.

4. Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell

Ben higgins and lauren b

It was a good year, closer to a year and a half actually, which is a long time for any relationship, and Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell recently called out what they deemed as “fake news” that said they had broken up … but they canceled their wedding and just admitted that they broke up. #realnews

5. Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth

Kaitlyn bristowe and shawn booth

Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth have looked the part of the happy couple ever since they got engaged in August 2015. But will their engagement actually last and stand the test of time? The show’s track record suggests otherwise … but here we are a year and a half later, so the joke’s on us?

6. Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff

Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff just got engaged on The Bachelor season finale in March 2015 … only to break up in May 2015! What seemed like the perfect fit turned out to be anything but.

Amanda Stanton: Will She Be the Next Bachelorette?

Rachel Lindsay’s season of The Bachelorette has only just had its finale, but naturally, everyone is wondering who will be the Bachelorette on the show’s 14th season.

The Bachelor Nation knows that there’s a whole world of possibilities for which lucky, eligible lady could have scores of suitors vying for her hand and heart … but one familiar name keeps coming up: Amanda Stanton

As it turns out, Amanda Stanton has definite hopes, dreams, and opinions.

Before her ill-fated romance with Josh Murray, Amanda Stanton competed for the affections of Ben Higgins during season 20 of The Bachelor.

She’s also signed up for two season of Bachelor in Paradise (this season being the second one, folks).

Yes, that means this super nuts season that filmed twice.

You can even see her at times in the Bachelor in Paradise sneak peek that we got this week.

We really don’t know yet what kind of arc she’s going to have on there.

Though her statements about her interest in being the Bachelorette might yield a major clue.

Amanda Stanton was interviewed on the Morning Breath podcast, where she claims that she’s ill-suited to be the next Bachelorette.

“The world would freak out if I was The Bachelorette. Everyone would hate it.”

Well, any choice is going to be divisive to some degree.

Somebody always has someone else in mind.

She might be thinking of the reaction that she got from haters earlier in the summer when she was mom-shamed for going on Bachelor in Paradise.

Like, those shows are filmed over a relatively short period of time.

A mom having a career isn’t the same as neglect, jerks.

“I would be the worst. I would be an awful Bachelorette.”

She’s really selling herself short, here.

It appears that Amanda is selling herself short.

People wouldn’t be asking if people weren’t interested, right?

But you know what?

She might be trying to mask things or avoid spoilers.

Bachelor in Paradise is supposed to be about people finding each other.

Ideally while sober and not blackout drunk in a pool, but you know, you take the hand that you’re dealt.

So what if Amanda found love on Bachelor in Paradise?

She wouldn’t want to spoil anything, but she also wouldn’t want to say “yeah, I’d totally do that” — which would indicate that she went home single.

Unfortunately, it’s hard to read into her statement, one way or the other.

Maybe she found love or at least had some fun on Bachelor in Paradise.

Or maybe she was as unlucky in love as ever.

But she might just be indecisive or leery of the spotlight that gets cast on the Bachelorette each season.

Or maybe she just wants to spend more time with her kids.

Regardless … if you have a The Bachelorette betting pool, we wouldn’t recommend placing your money on Amanda Stanton.

The 17 Most Shocking Bachelor and Bachelorette Finales EVER!

Chris Harrison hilariously tell us at the end of every season of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette that this is going to be epic.

We"re about to see the most shocking, most dramatic, emotional finale ever, he tells us. But which finales truly stand out most?

Sometimes, it"s the season finale with a surprising winner.

Sometimes, it"s a little extra drama or an epic meltdown.

And sometimes (cough, Brad) there"s no proposal at all.

Well, we"ve decided to take a look back and rank the 17 most shocking finales from both The Bachelor and The Bachelorette.

Where do we place last night"s The Bachelorette season finale, in which JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers got engaged?

Which was the most insane in BACHELOR HISTORY?

Check them out and see if you remember these – we"re sure you do, if you"re reading this – and if you agree with our rankings!

17. The Bachelorette Season 8: Emily Maynard

Jef holm emily maynard

Emily wanted to be considerate of Arie’s feelings on the finale of The Bachelorette Season 8, so once her mind was made up about Jef, she sent Arie home before they made it to the rose ceremony.

16. The Bachelor Season 4: Bob Guiney

Bob guiney pic

It’s kind of amazing how often a finale on The Bachelor or The Bachelorette ends without a proposal. In Bob Guiney’s case, he offered a promise ring to his chosen lady instead. They broke up a few months later.

15. The Bachelorette Season 6: Ali Fedotowsky

Ali fedotowsky and roberto martinez pic

Ali gave use a suprise at the end of The Bachelorette Season 6 when she sent Chris Lambton home early, incredibly confident in choosing Roberto.

14. The Bachelorette Season 12: JoJo Fletcher

Aqttkgxrjyyweyofsivo

While there were final rose ceremony tears and a bit of drama – Robby Hayes really thought he had it in the bag, while Jordan Rodgers held back, initially, when it came to asking JoJo Fletcher’s parents for permission to propose to her – the Dallas beauty ultimately went with her heart, and the frontrunner all season (Jordan).

13. The Bachelor Season 14: Jake Pavelka

Vienna girardi and jake pavelka picture

Jake shocked fans on his season finale when he chose the season’s villain, Vienna Girardi, over fan-favorite Tenley Molzahn.

12. The Bachelor Season 1: Alex Michel

Alex michel and amanda marsh

Believe it or not, even The Bachelor Season 1 didn’t end as we thought it would. Alex Michel told Chris Harrison he was planning to pick Trista Rehn, but then chose Amanda Marsh at the last minute. He didn’t propose, though, but instead just wanted to keep dating.

The Bachelor & The Bachelorette: 31 Most Stunning Exits Ever!

In the past 15 years, The Bachelor & Bachelorette have given us plenty of shockers, from emotional meltdowns to twists we never saw coming.

Usually, these events result – or stem from – an elimination.

Or a dramatic departure of one"s own volition. Or someone being asked to leave by the show itself. Or just a really, really bad breakup.

With the TV cameras rolling to document it all, obviously.

Suddenly it"s no surprise that this franchise has left a mark on the genre, airing for more than THIRTY-FOUR seasons, with no end in sight.

The men, women and moments featured on this list made their way onto it for very diverse reasons. Often through no fault of their own.

All provided images we won"t soon forget, however … at least not "til the next season airs on ABC and we update this list once again.

Where does this week"s finale devastation rank for Peter Kraus, who may well have gotten engaged to Rachel Lindsay … if he were ready?

Or for so many other famous faces from years" past?

Here"s a look back at those and other stunning exits in the turbulent, nearly decade-and-a-half history of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette

1. DeAnna Pappas AND Jenni Croft

Brad blows everything

The one that started it all: Brad Womack rejected Jenni Croft on his season finale, and looked poised to propose to fan favorite DeAnna Pappas … who he ALSO rejected!

2. Jason Mesnick

Jason mesnick deanna pappas photo

DeAnna Pappas became The Bachelorette, and threw fans for a loop by rejecting beloved single father Jason Mesnick, who was so smitten with her, in favor of Jesse Csincsak … who she stayed engaged to for like two weeks.

3. Melissa Rycroft

Melissa rycroft and jason mesnick

Jason Mesnick upped the ante on both Brad and DeAnna in the finale night shocker department. After getting engaged to Melissa Rycroft on his season finale, he dumped her … on the After the Final Rose special, in favor of runner-up Molly Malaney! At least this one had a happy ending, though: Jason and Molly are happily married, and have a beautiful daughter.

4. Reid Rosenthal

Jillian harris reid rosenthal

Reid Rosenthal bolted The Bachelorette of his own volution during the final three … then returned to propose to Jillian Harris on the finale after a change of heart … only by then she had already chosen Ed Swiderski to be her fiance.

5. Ed Swiderski

Ed swiderski and jillian harris

Ed, too, left in the middle of that same season of The Bachelorette … only to return and WIN Jillian Harris’ final rose. His shady, cheating ways soon caught up with him, however, and the lovable Canadian decided to List It, Not Love It … see what we did there?!

6. Rozlyn Papa

Jake pavelka and rozlyn papa

In Season 14, starring Jake Pavelka, Rozlyn Papa got the boot at a rose ceremony … after getting a rose! Say what? Yes, she allegedly had a fling with one of The Bachelor staff members.

The Bachelorette Stars: Ranked By Relationship Duration!

If The Bachelorette spoilers are any indication, Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo from Season 13 may have a real shot at love that lasts.

Specific issues regarding Bryan"s on-screen persona aside, the two seem head over heels in love, so the odds of a wedding are good.

Or at least better than average. If you just look at the show"s track record, Rachel and Bryan"s chances for long-term success are mixed.

At best.

Why do we say that? Isn"t it obvious? This is a dating competition throwing two people together under a pretense that is hard to sustain.

We have ranked the 13 stars of The Bachelorette based on who was most successful at finding love during her stint as ABC"s queen.

See how they stack up from worst to first, and tell us whether you think Rachel and Bryan will end up a success story or cautionary tale …

1. Jen Schefft

Bachelorette Jen Schefft broke up with winner Jerry Ferris on the After the Rose special because she just “wasn’t feeling it.”

2. Emily Maynard

Emily Maynard and Jef Holm broke up just a few months after his proposal in 2012. He was never the right guy anyway. Should’ve picked Sean.

3. Rachel Lindsay

Bryan abasolo and rachel lindsay

Obviously, it’s early in the long-term love game for Rachel Lindsay, who just went public with fiancee Bryan Abasolo following the Season 13 finale. We’ll see if these two can stand the test of time.

4. Andi Dorfman

Andi dorfman and josh murray on the bachelorette

Andi Dorfman found love with Josh Murray on The Bachelorette. Unfortunately, their engagement ended after only six months or so.

5. DeAnna Pappas

DeAnna Pappas and Jesse Csincsak broke up seven months after their finale aired. She went on to marry Stephen Stagliano, a high school teacher and the twin brother of former Bachelorette contestant Mike Stagliano!

6. Jillian Harris

Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski broke up one year after their finale aired. Swiderski later appeared on Bachelor Pad. Jillian now appears on HGTV’s Love it or List it Too.

The Bachelorette & The Bachelor Couples: Are They Still Together?

The Bachelor"s 2017 season came to a close with Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi engaged and totally, utterly, blissfully in love.

Or something. Judging by the reaction of fans and Bachelor Nation members, their breakup will be immediate if not sooner.

Maybe we"re reading too much into a single interview on After the Final Rose. What do you think? Will Nick and Vanessa last?

So far, so good. At least they made it until the end of the subsequent Bachelorette season, starring Nick castoff Rachel Lindsay.

Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo got engaged, and while fans aren"t hugely enthralled with him either, they too seem in love.

A final rose does not a future make. Just ask Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell, the latest duo to call it quits (after a year-plus).

Perhaps 2017"s engaged duos will surprise, but based on the franchise"s track record, and just the human condition in general?

We"re not betting on it. Just saying.

The Bachelorette Finale Recap: Who Did Rachel Lindsay Choose?

The Bachelorette has aired its iconic 13th season finale, and as the dust settles, we can finally confirm what we’ve known for weeks:

Rachel Lindsay has given out her final rose! But to whom?!

Viewers have waited all summer for the answer to this:

Were The Bachelorette spoilers we’ve been discussing for weeks – especially after the conventional wisdom changed – correct in the end?

And given many fans’ growing concerns regarding one of the three guys left in the running for Lindsay’s love, did we want them to be?

Might an epic twist rock Rachel, Peter, Eric and Bryan and end the season on a note that not even Bachelorette spoiler aficionados predicted?

To channel our inner Chris Harrison for a moment, this may go down as the most anticipated, controversial finale in Bachelor history.

The beautiful Dallas attorney, a veteran of The Bachelor, spent 11 weeks paring down 25 suitors to the three standing before her tonight.

All the while, dispatching the likes of DeMario Jackson, Lee Garrett, that Whaboom guy and some others who were actually tolerable.

So would Rachel give the final rose to Bryan Abasolo, the smooth-talking Miami doctor whose confidence has turned off many a competitor?

Or would it go to Peter Kraus, a guy who looks and acts the part of a swoon-worthy fiance – but who has expressed 11th-hour reservations?

Or would Eric Bigger, whose relationship with Rachel has developed slowly but powerfully, pull off an upset no one believed to be possible?

Yes, all three gentlemen met her family as Rachel grappled with what could be the most difficult and consequential decision of her life.

Who does she see a brighter future with – and can she trust that person with her heart, especially given the doubts surrounding them?

So which guy got the rose, if anyone? Did they get engaged – and perhaps most consequentially of all, are they still engaged right now?

Man alive, The Bachelorette producers sure can cut a slick series finale, keeping us guessing and slowly dialing up the drama to 11.

In the end, though, there was no major shocker:

Rachel Lindsay is engaged to Bryan Abasolo.

Yes, her first impression rose recipient all those weeks ago is now her fiance, having proposed (she said yes) at the end of the night.

But that doesn’t mean the road to Rachel Lindsay’s engagement ring was easy for her, or this wasn’t super painful for for Bryan to watch.

The finale focused heavily on fan favorite and eventual runner-up, Peter Kraus, and his lingering apprehension about popping the question.

Peter asked Rachel how she would feel if he couldn’t propose, which made her realize how strong her feelings actually were for him.

For Peter, that emotion “went a long way,” and he got invited to the Fantasy Suite, as did Bryan, obviously … but then things got a bit weird.

Bryan noticed that she was a little checked out, and Rachel admitted later that she was hung up on Peter and her complicated feelings.

In any case, Eric didn’t make it to the final two.

Bigger was definitely the bigger person in his heartfelt reaction to this, however; Eric thanked her and gushed about Rachel at length.

In a Bachelorette first, the show essentially scuttled the After the Final Rose special, splicing together the reunions with Monday’s finale.

That made for some crafty editing, as well as the revelation that Rachel’s choice – Bryan vs. Peter – would not come until the very end.

But which one would it be?!

For a time, it felt like the connection with Peter was just more real.

Stronger. More genuine and compelling. But for Rachel, Peter not saying he’d propose was brutal, and ultimately this couple’s undoing.

Peter then fully admitted he wasn’t ready to propose, while at the same time confusing her with his talk about building a future together.

Many mixed emotions, to put it mildly, on this finale.

Kraus said that he decided way too recently that he was in love with Lindsay; Peter didn’t want to lose Rachel, but also wasn’t ready.

Eventually, she felt she had to tell him goodbye, saying that if he proposed the next day, it was only ‘cause he knew she wanted him to.

Perhaps he just wasn’t meant for this show, or life.

Their live sit-down was painfully awkward and sad, but at least there was the actual proposal – almost an afterthought after all we just saw.

Fortunately, Rachel called Bryan the perfect foundation, and he pulled out a pear-shaped ring, and soon they were engaged. HOORAY!

We wish the couple nothing but the best going forward and everything, having just seen all this, you do have to wonder, though:

1. Will it last? Do people dislike Bryan for kind of no reason?

2. Did Bryan cover his ears during all the Peter scenes? If he watched, is he equally convinced that he was really her second option?

3. Did Peter just kill his chances of being The Bachelor?

4. How do you feel about Eric’s beard on the live show?

5. Does Chris Harrison have the best job on TV?

The Bachelorette Spoilers: How Will it End Tonight?

The Bachelorette Season 13 finale airs this evening on ABC, drawing to a dramatic close in an epic three-hour installment as always.

What do The Bachelorette spoilers tell us about Rachel Lindsay and her three remaining men, Eric Bigger, Bryan Abasolo and Petter Kraus?

This season has been so controversial and polarizing on multiple levels, and the tumult is far from over as Rachel mulls over her decision.

With the first African-American Bachelor franchise lead came even more intense scrutiny for Rachel (and racist behavior by Lee Garrett).

Every decision she’s made has been viewed, to a point, along racial lines, and the topic of interracial relationships has been at the forefront.

We’ve seen a guy dating someone back home (DeMario) and tensions between the men, including some who are still in the running.

Yet in many ways it’s been a conventional season. Lots of romance and high points, plenty of self-doubt and hard choices for the star.

Before we reveal tonight’s dramatic conclusion, as revealed by Bachelorette spoilers, a brief recap of some of the big storylines in play:

Eric Bigger (left) has never been in love like he is now, he admits, because of an upbringing that muted his ability to express his emotions.

Nevertheless, his ability to self-reflect and honesty in powering through that (along with many other positive attributes) has gotten him here.

Peter Kraus (middle) has been a fan favorite and Rachel favorite from the start, but threw a wrench into Rachel’s expectations last episode.

Admitting he may not be ready to propose, and wouldn’t do so if he wasn’t feeling it, even if he won the final rose? That was honest.

Very unusual for the show, though, and not something Rachel was expecting. As for the third remaining contender Bryan Abasolo (right)?

Let’s just say his faux-smoothness continues to rub some co-stars and fans the wrong way, even as Lindsay falls further in love with him.

There can be only one winner, of course, and Rachel will be second-guessed no matter what. The question is who she picks on the finale …

While it’s sure to disappoint many of you, according to The Man, The Myth, The Bachelorette Spoilers legend known as Reality Steve …

Rachel is engaged to Bryan Abasolo.

Steve’s initial stance a few weeks into the season, and before the season had even begun, that Lindsay was engaged to Peter Kraus.

Why the change? New information.

“After looking into it deeper, this time it turns out to be right,” Steve said, noting that sometimes, his sources are simply incorrect too.

Give him credit for owning it, and he’s right. He’s not actually an Oracle, or Soothsayer. Just a guy who’s damn good at spoiler acquisition.

“Unfortunately, without compromising sources, I can’t give you specifics” of why he was off the mark, he said, but it is Bryan. Period.

Hooray?

We also can tell you that there are fewer details available than in past seasons as to how specifically it plays out with the three finalists.

Eric Bigger, Peter Kraus and Bryan Abasolo, all of whom have meet Rachel’s family, are still in this thing heading into the season finale.

Plenty of blanks still must be filled in, but we have no reason to doubt that Rachel Lindsay is engaged to Dr. Bryan Abasolo right now.

We’ll find out for sure tonight – there will always be a sliver of doubt until we see it with our own eyes, but only a sliver – around 10 p.m.

Whatever happens, whether there’s an epic twist in the works or not, plenty of Rachel-Peter fans and Rachel-Bryan fans will be on edge.

(As for who is the next Bachelor, it’s obvious that one or both of the runners-up would be a favorite, though Paradise complicates things.)

Peter, in particular, has a built in fan base and would be a worthy man for the job on merit; Eric is great, but seems like a distant third.

There’s been no suggestion that Bigger will prevail, and his romance with Rachel has seemed strong, but slightly less potent all season.

Soon, all will be revealed. For now, digest these Bachelorette spoilers and hit the comments below … did Rachel make the right choice?

If you believe the spoilers, that is?!

The Bachelorette Ending: Rachel Lindsay Gets the "Proposal From HELL!"

We know that Rachel Lindsay regrets at least one choice from her season of The Bachelorette, but surely you’d think that that by the big moment — the epic proposal — everything would be just as Rachel imagined.

Apparently not.

In fact, according to this report, it sounds like Rachel’s big moment was a nightmare.

If you follow The Bachelorette Spoilers, you already know Rachel’s ultimate decision.

Before that, according to what an insider tells In Touch, Rachel Lindsay was extremely torn.

Because she: “fell in love with two of the men.”

Honestly, at the risk of sounding like Tina from Bob’s Burgers, we’re amazed that she didn’t fall in love with a lot more of them.

But knowing that she fell in love with both explains why the final breakup is so brutal.

“The fairy-tale moment that Rachel was dreaming of her whole life was a complete ordeal. It was the proposal from hell.”

Wow.

That is just … really direct.

We don’t know how much of that will translate onto the small screen when we all get to see the finale, but

“She even considered walking away from the whole thing because she was terrified of making the wrong choice.”

We actually knew that Rachel Lindsay thought about quitting The Bachelorette, so that makes a lot of sense.

It’s good to have context, though.

“In her mind, this whole thing was going to end differently.”

Well, as much as we might enjoy watching a spin-off along the lines of The Bachelorette: Polyamorously Ever After, the grim fact is that Rachel Lindsay went into this knowing that she’d have to settle on just one suitor.

So we’re not sure what she was expecting.

We think that what that source means is that Rachel Lindsay was expecting that just one suitor would rise above the others.

Like if she were in a room full of, somehow, dozens of copies of Trump’s adult sons but exactly one Michael Phelps and she had to choose which one to marry.

It turns out that dating in real life isn’t all that easy.

And choosing between a host of suitors isn’t as easy as it seemed when she wasn’t the one making the choices.

The Bachelorette‘s finale is several days away — somehow really soon and ages away..

Before we know it (and yet not a moment too soon), we’ll all get to see how this plays out.

Thanks to the Bachelor in Paradise scandal this summer spoiling the elimination of a The Bachelorette frontrunner after he was spotted down there, we know Rachel Lindsay’s choice.

It will be very interesting to see this dude, who was clearly overwhelmed with heartbreak after Rachel Lindsay didn’t choose him, nurse his wounded spirit on Bachelor in Paradise.

Honestly, we’d be surprised if he found love so soon after such emotional devastation.

Remember — the man who doesn’t become Rachel’s fiance reportedly broke down and cried after Rachel’s rejection.

No matter how happy Rachel may be now, this is going to be one bittersweet proposal.

(Or, possibly, just a bitter one)

This season of The Bachelorette is sure to go down as a controversial one.

Fans are definitely opinionated about the final suitors.

They don’t trust the Bryan Abasolo’s silver tongue and his promises to give Rachel everything that she’s ever wanted.

Bachelor Nation in general is enamored with Peter Kraus and are honestly terrified that

Eric Bigger … hasn’t actually managed to inflame passions one way or the other. That’s actually not great for a show like this.

We may already know, but the world will find out soon enough!
