Bill Cosby: A Look at His Life Behind Bars
Bill Cosby is a convicted rapist and a ward of Pennsylvania.
The disgraced comedian was found guilty in April 2018 of drugging and assaulting a woman named Andrea Constand and then sentenced to three to 10 years behind bars in September of 2018.
"Nobody is above the law because of where they live, who they are, wealth, fame, celebrity or even philanthropy," said the judge said during Cosby"s hearing while delivering Cosby"s sentence.
"Any lesser sentence would take away from the seriousness of the crime," he added.
Overall, Cosby has been accused of rape by over 60 women.
He deserves to be behind bars — and we have a look below for you at exactly what life is like for him there.

Scott Peterson Is Reportedly Trading Sex for Protection Behind Bars
Being famous and in prison is not a good combination. Being infamous and widely despised and in prison is usually worse.
Scott Peterson is about as infamous and widely despised as it gets, and his fellow inmates at San Quentin prison know that.
A new report alleges Peterson is so desperate to avoid the wrath of other prisoners that he is trading sexual favors for protection.
Raynard Cummings is a convicted cop killer and an armed robber.
He has been in prison since 1983 for the shooting of LAPD Officer Paul Verna.
In a lengthy letter published by RadarOnline, Cummings reveals that Scott Peterson is trading sexual favors for protection from a group of strong, burly inmates — including Cummings.
RadarOnline shares that Cummings is 61 years old, 6-foot-6, and 250 pounds.
It sounds like Cummings able to offer a great deal of protection from the regular beatings that Peterson would otherwise experience in general population.
Cummings has a nickname for Peterson — his “snowbunny.” Outside of prison, that nickname has some very different meanings. Behind bars, well …
Cummings and his group within San Quentin are apparently known as the Tribe.
In addition to sexual favors, Peterson apparently performs unenviable chores — like washing the Tribe’s underwear — and also gives them backrubs with massage oil int he showers.
Though Cummings cannot imagine why Peterson actually requested to be moved out of protective custody and placed in the general population, he writes that he enjoys reaping the benefits.
“Taking SP [Scott Peterson] in was and is one of the sweetest move[s] I’ve ever made in 37 years of death row imprisonment,” Cummings writes.
“For whatever reasons,” Cummings writes. “SP wanted to hang out with the baddest of the blackness…This is the circle in which SP chose to walk into in the middle — and then to stay in the middle of — learning the program.”
“I call him my Death Row sissy,” Cummings explains. “Because he’ll do just about anything to save his worthless neck.”
Wow.
Cummings elaborates, saying: “He knows he’s one of the most hated men in here and could be killed at any moment.”
Cummings even included some more salacious details about his interactions with Peterson in the showers, writing: “The shower felt silky-smooth and SP to me is one handsome white boy.”
The world knows the grisly details of Laci Peterson’s murder. So many people wasted countless hours searching for Laci when, the court concluded, her husband knew the whole time where she was — because he had been the one to murder her.
Scott Peterson has been on death row for many years, now.
He has made numerous attempts to appeal his conviction, but to no avail.
It is difficult to imagine why someone like Peterson would want to enter the general population — unless, of course, he simply had a death wish, and changed his mind afterwards.
What Cummings describes should probably not be confused with prison rape, another serious issue. This sounds like Peterson has effectively hired these men to protect him from other men.
But it’s still not a good situation.
Some might view Cummings’ letter as some form of justice.
Others believe that every day on which Peterson draws breath is an injustice, and that we — all of us who are good people — will live in a better world the day that he finally dies.
Whether or not you believe the word of a death row inmate who was convicted of murdering a police officer during a routine traffic stop, the letter is an indictment of the prison system.
Even if you believe that Peterson deserves his current fate as described by Cummings, we all know that there are innocent people behind bars who become victims of violence.
We should have prisons designed in such a way that inmates, guilty or innocent, are not at the mercy of strong, vicious criminals who have nothing to lose.
That said … it is difficult if not impossible to feel sorry for Scott Peterson.

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino Pleads Guilty to Tax Fraud, Faces 15 Years Behind Bars
We’ve got quite a situation here, folks.
Just as the Jersey Shore cast is reuniting for a second shot at reality TV stardom, one of the show’s most infamous figures may be headed to jail for a very long time.
But hey, at least he’ll have plenty of time to work on those famous abs.
Back in April of 2017, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino was charged with tax fraud alongside his brother and business partner, Marc Sorrentino.
According to court documents obtained by Page Six, The Sitch has pled guilty “not paying all federal income tax owed on approximately $ 8.9 million … earned between 2010 and 2012.”
And it seems that Mike didn’t simply forget to dot the I’s and cross the T’s on his 1040:
“They also stand accused of commingling their business and personal bank accounts so that they could get away with spending the money on ‘high-end luxury vehicles and clothing,’” a source close to the case claims.
Mike also stands accused of making “multiple cash deposits on the same day in amounts less than $ 10,000, into different bank accounts that he controlled” in an effort to avoid reporting his earnings to the IRS.
Mike and Marc were first offered the plea deal on December 19 but rejected it due to the lengthy amount of time they might spend behind bars.
It seems Mike is facing 15 years in prison, while his brother might be put away for a whopping 25 years.
Legal experts say it’s unlikely that they’ll receive the maximum sentence, but note that some jail time seems inevitable.
Last year, the Sorrentinos appeared on Marriage Boot Camp (they really need to fix that title), where they discussed the charges against them and admitted to being fearful of going to prison.
Interestingly, Mike is not the first Garden State-based reality star to be convicted of tax fraud in recent years.
Real Housewives of New Jersey regular Teresa Giudice served 15 months in prison on similar charges back in 2015.
Her husband, Joe Giudice, is currently serving 4 years behind bars.
There’s no word yet on whether or not Mike will be able to appear in the upcoming Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.
Which is a shame, because it certainly sounds like he could use the cash!

Apollo Nida Reunites With Fiancee From Behind Bars
If you’re wondering why you haven’t heard from Phaedra Parks’ ex-husband Apollo Nida in a while, then you may be in for a bit of a shock.
Back in 2014, Nida was convicted of fraud charges and sentenced to eight years in prison.
These days, Apollo is behind bars, but he’s not letting the pesky peculiarities of his living arrangement interfere with his social life.
To the surprise of many (ya know, because of the whole “being in prison” thing) Nida got engaged to a woman named Sherien Almufti last year.
The news came as a shock, because in addition to the fact that he’s locked up (Have we mentioned that?), Apollo had only been divorced from Phaedra for a few months when he put a ring he made himself on Sherien’s finger.
(We suppose “I’m in prison” is a pretty good excuse for not shelling out for a diamond.)
The news that Sherien is an aspiring famous person who was promised a spot on The Real Housewives of Atlanta helped to shed some light on the mystery of why she rushed headlong into a relationship with a convict.
Sadly, it seems there was more than just Plexiglass coming between Apollo and Sherien, and the couple broke up earlier this year.
Maybe it was the forced separation.
Maybe Sherien realized that marrying Apollo wouldn’t be her ticket to the A-list, after all.
Or maybe she simply got sick of Nida blathering on about his hobbies all the time (shiv-sharpening, ramen based-cookery, hanging posters of decade-appropriate film starlets over the ever-deepening tunnel in the wall of his cell).
Whatever the case, Apollo and Sherien called it quits.
For about two weeks.
Yes, as suddenly as they began their romance, Apollo and Sherien have reconciled.
Almufti even celebrated her birthday by visiting Nida in the clink last week:
Yes, Sherien and Apollo enjoyed a jailhouse embrace – presumably after assuring the nearest C.O. that they wouldn’t be passing anything to one another.
Almufti seemed to briefly address the breakup in her caption for the photo, acknowledging that things “haven’t always been peachy” as of late.
“God has blessed me with another year. I am so thankful for every single thing in my life,” she wrote.
“Although it hasn’t always been peachy, I wouldn’t trade it for the world! Thank you God for every mistake I have made and for every lesson I have learned. I am stronger today than I was yesterday!”
She later praised Nida, hailing him as “an amazing person inside and out,” who will someday get his due.
You may now commence being depressed about prison inmates having healthier relationships than you do.

Devoin Austin: Briana DeJesus" Baby Daddy is Back Behind Bars!
If you watch Teen Mom 2 online, then these days you’re no doubt familiar with the show’s newest torubled baby daddy, Devoin Austin.
When Briana DeJesus joined the cast for the show’s current season, fans who follow her on social media expressed their hope that Devoin would be featured as well, since he’s something of an entertaining trainwreck.
Thus far, he has not disappointed.
The Ashley’s Reality Roundup is reporting today that Austin was arrested and thrown in jail over the weekend due to an outstanding warrant stemming from a failure to show up in court on marijuana possession charges.
As the site points out, the arrest took place at 5:59 am, which means Devoin was either headed to work, or coming home from the club ready for bed.
Either way, it’s pretty much the worst time to get arrested.
Now, Devoin is being held in Orange County Jail in his native Florida.
He’s awaiting trial not only for the original possession charges but also on charges of failing to respond to a court summons.
No word on bail, but since Devoin didn’t show up to court the first time he was scheduled, it’s probably sky high.
We usually don’t rush to the defense of Teen Mom baby daddies, because the majority of them are terrible, but there’s no denying that Devoin is getting screwed here.
Fans have been quick to drag him on social media, but what did the guy really do that was so terrible.
He got arrested on cannabis possession charges, which is apparently a thing that still happens in 2017.
Sure, failing to show up in court was dumb, but the guy was probably afraid of getting railroaded by the same justice system that had already unfairly targeted him at least once.
Now the guy is behind bars for having pot and paraphernalia in his possession.
Did we mention it’s 2017?
Now, is Devoin the ideal baby daddy?
Maybe not, but if that were illegal, just about every Teen Mom dad would be doing time.
So if you want to twet about Austin, we say stop dogpiling the poor guy and get a #FreeDevoin hashtag going.
Then you can totally waste the rest of your day with the knowledge that you engaged in some half-assed activism.
It’s a win-win.
