Vanderpump Rules Cast: Urging James Kennedy to Come Out of the Closet?

On last night’s episode of Vanderpump Rules, James Kennedy drunkenly confessed to being in love with his gay best friend, Logan, whom he then kissed.

It came in at about 47,000 on the list of most eyebrow-raising behaviors James has engaged in this season, but for some reason, that’s the move his cast mates are fixated upon.

The previews for next week’s episode showed Kristen Doute–James’ only real competition for the title of most sociopathic Vanderpump cast member–insisting that Kennedy come out of the closet, because … well, we’re sure she’ll eventually come up with some reason why his sexuality is any of her business.

Just give her some time.

Kristen wasn’t alone in being far more concerned with the possibility that James is bisexual than with the fact that he’s likely a bipolar alcoholic with abusive tendencies.

“Watching James and Logan interact for like two seconds, I don’t know what’s going on,” Jax Taylor remarked during Monday’s episode.

“I just don’t know who’s the top and who’s the bottom.”

And apparently, James’ castmates aren’t just playing it up for the cameras.

In fact, it seems the only one who isn’t concerned is Kennedy’s girlfriend, Raquel Leviss.

One insider tells Radar Online that James’ “friends” have been relentlessly pressuring him to come out:

“They told him that he really needs to start living as his true self,” said the source.

“They think James needs to come out.”

The situation is interesting, but not for the reason the Kristen and company think:

1. The questioning of James’ sexuality and the campaign to forcibly draw him out of the closet comes on the heels of an episode in which the cast repeatedly boasted about their concern for social justice and their cred within the LGBT community.

Side-eyeing your straight friend’s friendship with his gay roommate isn’t exactly the height of wokeness.

2. In that same episode, James got daytime sh-tfaced and heaped verbal abuse on a woman in a public setting.

No one seemed to have a problem with that, but kissing his male friend on the cheek?! Mon dieu!

Look, horrendous behavior from the Vanderpump cast is nothing new, but coming on the heels of their annual pride parade episode, this buffoonery is especially nauseating.

Watch Vanderpump Rules online to remind yourself of the extent to which these people need to grow up.

Caitlyn Jenner: Kris Jenner Forced Me Into the Closet!

It’s been nearly two years since Caitlyn Jenner debuted on the cover of Vanity Fair, and to say that her popularity has faltered considerably since then would be a tremendous understatement.

Part of the problem with Caitlyn’s public image is that her political beliefs often seem at odds with her own experiences.

As a result, many who applauded Caitlyn’s courage after she first came out now find themselves baffled by her support of right-wing policies and unwilling to entertain any more of her political views.

This PR crisis presents a major problem for Caitlyn these days, as her memoir – once thought to be a guaranteed bestseller – is soon to hit stores with little fanfare.

The task of promoting the book in the run-up to its April 25 release falls mainly to the Olympian herself, and after spending the most contentious election year in recent history alienating what would have been her core audience, Caitlyn is struggling to make her voice heard.

Fortunately for her publishers, Caitlyn has an ace up her sleeve:

For the majority of her time in spotlight, Caitlyn was famous not as a gold-medal winning decathlete, but as the husband of Kris Jenner, father of Kylie and Kendall, stepdad to Kourtney, Kim, and Khloe Kardashian.

If her time with the first family of reality TV has taught Caitlyn anything, it’s that celebrity secrets outsell tales of bygone athletic glory any day.

Maybe it’s for that reason that Caitlyn is promise to pull out the big guns and blast away at her ex in the upcoming Secrets of My Life:

“Kris made her suppress her true self,” says a rep for Caitlyn, teasing the sort of allegations that will be made in the memoir.

“Caitlyn resents Kris for a life she didn’t get to live.”

Following a relatively amicable split in 2015, Caitlyn and Kris feuded over public accusations made by the former, eventually cutting ties with one another altogether.

Now it looks as though the accusations in Caitlyn’s memoir will only damage their relationship further.

Furthermore, the book might do irreparable harm to Caitlyn’s relationship with daughters and stepdaughters, who have reportedly described the book’s content as “deeply troubling.”

Caitlyn has clashed with Khloe Kardashian in the past, but she has mostly gotten along with Khloe’s sisters in the years since her transition.

Those who have seen advanced copies of Secrets of My Life say it’s unlikely that Caitlyn will be welcome at any Kardashian family functions any time soon.

Kristen Stewart: Here"s Why I Decided to Come Out of the Closet!

Last month, Kristen Stewart hosted what may have been the best episode of SNL this season, and in a memorable monologue, she addressed Donald Trump’s obsession with Twilight in general and with her in particular.

Stewart concluded by addressing the Donald directly, and informing the president that he’s barking up the wrong tree, as she’s “like, so gay.”

It was a proud moment for the LGBTQ community, as it wasn’t all that long ago that a celebrity informing a sitting president of her sexual orientation on live TV would have been the stuff of scandal.

While there’s much progress to be made, in 2017 such moments are widely applauded, a fact that activists and allies alike can take as one of the latest in the long line of victories that serve as signposts on the road to equality.

While Stewart has never hidden her sexual orientation from fans, she rarely discusses her personal life in the press.

However, it seems she’s willing to make an exception when the opportunity to send an important message in a poignant way arises.

Stewart addressed the issue of her love life in a recent interview with People magazine, discussing, among other things, why she never chose to talk about her post-Pattinson relationships in the past.

“I didn’t talk about my first relationships that went public because I wanted things that are mine to be mine,” Stewart told the magazine.

“I hated it that details of my life were being turned into a commodity and peddled around the world.”

Stewart says there was a time when she would have been content to keep her private life as private as possible for rest of her life.

However, the actress experienced a change of heart upon realizing how many young people she could make feel less alone simply by sharing her own story:

“Considering I had so many eyes on me, I suddenly realized [my private life] affects a greater number of people than just me,” Stewart said.

“It was an opportunity to surrender a bit of what was mine, to make even one other person feel good about themselves.”

Stewart says her breakup up with Robert Pattinson left her wary of the press, but in recent years, she began to feel that it’s her responsibility to use her platform for good:

“If it didn’t seem like a relevant topic, like something that needed help, I would have kept my life private forever,” she said.

“When I was dating Rob, the public was the enemy — and that is no way to live. It wasn’t this grand statement, ‘I was so confused! Now I’ve realized who I am!’ I have not been struggling.”

Post-Twilight, Stewart has remained one of the most sought-after and celebrated talents in Hollywood, and it seems clear that she has every intention of remaining a role model to young people living on the fringes of society.

And Donald Trump is just gonna have to deal with it…

Vanderpump Rules Season 5 Episode 14 Recap: In the Closet

Monday on Vanderpump Rules Season 5 Episode 14, Schwartz voiced his opinions about his bachelor party, while Katie raged at Scheana.

Elsewhere, Stassi was given more relationship advice, but if you watch Vanderpump Rules online, you know how that typically goes.

The wedding of Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz and the lead-up to that epic event was bound to the focal point of this entire season.

Still, could anyone imagine just how big of a disaster of an experience it would be? Okay, everyone could’ve, but seeing it play out?

Wow. Just wow.

To wit, Vanderpump Rules Season 5 Episode 14 focused on a spa day, which had to be the most stressful and least enjoyable ever.

Prior to that, we learned that Katie and Tom forgot to put room on their wedding invitations for people to include … wait … their names.

They may know the number of guests, in other words, but they don’t know who’s coming. Minor details. If only that was as bad as it got …

Katie, falling more into the traditional Bridezilla role by the minute, ominously tells Kristen Doute that people “need to start falling in line.”

Uhh, okay Steve Bannon.

Ariana Madix, meanwhile, fills Lisa Vanderpump in on what happened at James Kennedy’s DJ set, as if LVP weren’t already well aware.

Oh, and Tom Sandoval is attempting to reboot his modeling career … with a shoot at Joe Simpson’s house. Can’t make this stuff up.

Tom Schwartz, who tags along, is star-struck by Jessica’s father. Sandoval is just star-struck by himself, or the feeling he gets at least.

“When I get my photo taken, it’s giving my soul life,” Sandoval says, and as ridiculous as that is, we gotta say we love the guy for it.

He is unabashedly himself.

Plus, Tom and Ariana are downright normal compared to other couples on this show, namely James and Raquel, who has trust issues.

James is still somehow denying he cheated on her even though everyone saw it and there are photos of it, but hey, it’s Trump’s America.

Lie enough and people start to buy it, or grow too exhausted by refuting the lie that they resign themselves to quieting down, or both.

In other toxic couple news, Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor take her mother’s advice and go to church. The sermon is about anger.

Stassi, while this is going on, is at her mother Dayna’s house, showing us a rare selfless side of her caring for her mom post-hysterectomy.

Her brother Nikolai, 11, counsels Stassi about her split with Patrick. For Schroeder, an 11-year-old’s advice might actually be an improvement.

After a brief interlude in which Tom plays a hologram in Peter’s new sci-fi movie (let that sentence sink in for a sec) it’s bridal shower time.

Also known as unrelaxing spa day time.

Scheana attempts to strike a peace accord between Ariana and Stassi, which worked well until Katie issued more threats about negativity.

The irony is lost on her, apparently.

As Katie rails and warns against toxic attitudes and bad behavior among members of her bridal party, the accused finally speak out.

Scheana brings up that Katie is a mean when she drunk texts, which leads to a fight and a sad reminder that they are like 30 years old.

Seriously. Thirty years old.

Finally, on the bachelor party side, Schwartz’s (or the producers’) request is for the guys to dress in drag on their New Orleans trip.

Thus, they head over to Lisa’s (where else, because it’s clearly the producers’ idea) to try on the boss’ finest dresses and jewels.

All is right with the world, until Tom and Katie get into yet another argument later in which she’s upset about him defending Ariana.

As she storms out, leaving Tom alone with the check he would probably bounce if he paid by check, we have to wonder aloud:

Why are these two getting married exactly? And if they do, will it possibly last? Hit the comments and discuss all things Pump.

Teen Mom O.G. Recap: Seven Skeletons in Matt Baier"s Closet

Monday night on MTV’s Teen Mom O.G., a whole lot of drama went down with the fab four, but Matt Baier’s past took center stage …

When Teen Mom Season 12 Episode 6 got underway, Gary Shirley decided to do some sleuthing and dropped a BOMB on Amber.

Those who watch Teen Mom online know that Amber Portwood’s fiance is much older and started off as … a fan. It’s a tad unconventional.

Well, there may be more to it than that, too. According to Gary’s detective work, Matt Baier has a lot of kids. We’re talking a lot a lot.

Not two, not three. Amber’s fiance has seven children from five different women, and Shirley is a little uneasy about this fact.

“He moved to Indiana for some girl, but he has seven kids at home that he probably ain’t seeing like he should,” Gary complained.

“And then he wants to come and father my kid? Man, come on.”

Amber’s response: “You should talk to me, or you should talk to him before you do something like this in front of the cameras.”

“Everybody in the world will think something else. Now I’m gonna have to prove, in front of millions of people. This is ridiculous.”

Maybe so about how Gary handled it, but are his facts wrong?

Matt Baier clammed up pretty quickly, then told the MTV staff to “Get the f–k out of my house. Get your s–t, and don’t come back.”

MTV aired audio from inside Amber’s house after the camera crew got the boot, and Portwood definitely didn’t let him off the hook.

“If you have that many kids, then you’re a deadbeat father. I don’t know about half that s–t. I thought I did,” she tore into her fiance.

“F–k with me, and watch what happens to your life.”

The next day, Amber broke down crying to an MTV producer, “I wanna believe the man who I’ve been with,” she explained.

“But if it’s true, then I’m just gonna look like a naive little girl, and it breaks my heart. ‘Cause I don’t love a lot of people, and I love him.”

“But if it is true, I’m gonna feel really stupid.”

“I’m breaking,” she added. “I just want my kid, and I just wanna be happy with her. I don’t even care about anything else.”

To be continued, though it doesn’t look like Amber and Matt have called it quits, and they’re still on track for an October wedding.

No word on how Gary feels about that.

Elsewhere, Tyler Baltierra’s mom began to notice signs that Catelynn Lowell might be suffering from postpartum depression.

Cate denied that she is, saying “That’s just ridiculous, I think. No, I definitely don’t have postpartum. I would know, for sure.”

“I’ve struggled with depression – I know what that feels like. And I’m on antidepressants. Sometimes, I just need a break.”

Tyler ended up agreeing to spend more time with their baby girl Nova, so hopefully Cate will get the breaks she deserves.

Down in Farrah Abraham Land, she decided to let her parents take care of Sophia while she was in England on business.

Sounds nice, yes? Well, naturally, this rapidly devolved into a situation in which Farrah threatened to exile her mom and dad:

“It seems like there’s something plotted against me, so that when I’m gone, people can just do whatever the f–k they want.”

Fortunately, Abraham’s therapist got real:

“I wonder if your life would be a little easier, for all involved, if you didn’t have such high standards. A more realistic set of expectations.

“They are forfeiting jobs and moving across the country to support you,” she told Farrah. “Why can you not focus on that?”

(Because she’s Farrah. Obviously.)

Finally, Ryan Edwards and Maci Bookout got along better than ever at Bentley’s birthday party, and it’s all because … Ryan is single.

“He’s completely different when he has a girlfriend,” Maci said. “We take a family picture of the three of us every year on [Bentley’s] birthday.”

“We don’t have one from last year because Shelby wouldn’t let him, and got mad about it. We just need to find Ryan a girlfriend who’s cool.”

Gotta love Ryan Edwards, though. Why?

He still talks to Shelby, and sort of wants her, but won’t tell Maci about this situation “’cause I think it’ll just cause drama.”

Instead, he will tell … MTV cameras.

This Simpsons Character Will FINALLY Come Out Of The Closet This Season!

Well this is pretty big!

The Simpsons just started their 27th season on Sunday and they’ve already started to make some changes to their show!

There were several stories over the summer about the hit cartoon show ranging from Homer and Marge splitting, to Sideshow Bob getting to kill Bart!

Related: This Beer From The Simpsons Is Actually Going To Be Sold IRL!

We’re even getting a couple great guest stars this season!

But a new report confirms that Smithers, Mr. Burns trusty right-hand-man will FINALLY be coming out of the closet! WOO-HOO!

Executive producer Al Jean said in a statement:

“In Springfield now, most people know he’s gay, but obviously Burns doesn’t. We deal with that in two episodes… We actually do a lot with Smithers this year; he gets fed up with Burns not appreciating him and considers his options.”

This is fantastic news!

We’ve always loved The Simpsons and applaud any show that widens their diversity!

What do you think, are you happy with their decision or should they just keep things they way they are?
