Kelly Dodd: Fire Vicki Gunvalson! She"s Past Her Expiration Date!

Season 14 of The Real Housewives of Orange County will be here before any of us know it.

Kelly Dodd is well aware, but revealed on The Talk she thinks that the cast needs one major mix-up before filming begins.

She thinks that most of her colleagues should return, and she has specific reasons for that.

But she thinks that Vicki Gunvalson needs to go.

And her metaphor in explaining why will be enough to curdle your blood.

Take a look:

1. Kelly Dodd says Vicki is old news

2. Kelly on Shannon:

“I’m obviously friends with Shannon [Beador],” Kelly says. “I talk to her every day.”

3. Kelly on Tamra:

“I talk to Tamra [Judge] every day,” Kelly adds.

4. The show wouldn’t be the same without those two

Emily Simpson SLAMS Kelly Dodd for Vicious Attack on Husband!

Though viewers saw Vicki Gunvalson flip out on The Real Housewives of Orange County, she wasn’t the only Housewife to get a little hot under the collar.

When Kelly Dodd criticized Emily Simpson’s husband — when she called him a “b–ch” — Emily lashed out, even threatening to kill Kelly.

Emily cooled off and apologized, and she’s owning up to her words and actions. But she says that she’s the only one who’s doing so.

“I am in no way proud of my behavior at Tamra’s party,” Emily admits in a Bravo blog post.

In her own defense, Emily says: “I feel like any wife who respects her marriage and her husband would have become as irate as I did.”

“However,” Emily adds. “I am the ONLY one taking any responsibility for my own actions that evening.”

“And let’s be honest,” Emily says, preparing to school her co-star. “For a ‘death threat’ to be actionable, the other party has to have an imminent and reasonable fear that their life is in jeopardy.”

“The fact that Kelly continued to scream, ‘Hit me! Hit me!’ and was laughing means she was not scared for her life,” Emily reasons.

She says that Kelly has been targeted Emily’s words so that she does not have to look inward.

“Kelly’s constant focusing on what I said that night is simply a deflection from dealing with her own abhorrent behavior,” Emily says.

“I have to say I’m quite disappointed in the other ladies,” Emily continues.

Emily asks: “Did anyone else notice that Tamra, in her last blog, says Shane likes to cause drama when all he did was stand at a table and have a nice, quiet conversation with Steve?”

Tamra’s last blog was more or less all about accusing Shane of being dramatic.

Emily spies hypocrisy in Tamra’s accusations.

“Yet she makes ZERO mention of Kelly’s behavior,” Emily points out. “Can Shane ever catch a break? Is he ever allowed to speak?”

Emily then points out that Shane was in a no-win scenario.

“If he said nothing, he would be attacked for being spineless,” Emily imagines. “If he speaks up, he’s attacked for causing drama.”

“At the very least, it is laughable that the queen of ‘That’s my opinion!’ is telling Shane to stay out of it,” Emily says, referring to the famous meme of Tamra screaming.

“I am happy that Kelly and I had the opportunity to sit down face to face and work it out,” Emily writes.

Emily continues: “I truly believe you can work things out by owning your own actions, forgiving, and moving on.”

“I feel that we both said what we wanted to say,” Emily says. “And we both took responsibility for our own part in the evening.”

Emily adds: “I even texted Kelly after meeting with her and reiterated how I was happy that we chatted and worked things out.”

Despite that peacemaking, Emily points out that Kelly hasn’t given up on her insistence that Shane is a “b–ch.”

It’s part of human nature for people to get upset and defensive when their loved ones are targeted for criticism and ridicule.

And it goes with the Real Housewife franchise’s territory for people to have explosive arguments on camera. Viewers expect it.

It’s how the stars respond after the fact that shows fans what their character is really like. Emily, at least, is owning what she did and what she said.

We do hope that, in the future, Emily avoids issuing any death threats. It’s not cool.

Kelly Dodd and Vicki Gunvalson: Feuding Over Ex"s Hookup

Kelly Dodd finished her divorce from Michael Dodd, but responded with understandable outrage when Vicki Gunvalson appeared to be playing wingman for Michael and helping him hook up on a Vegas trip.

Ouch.

The upside to this whole messy situation is that we’ll get to see it all play out next season on The Real Housewives of Orange County. But here’s what we know:

There’s some great news in Kelly Dodd’s personal life that she’s been just bursting to share.

On February 23rd, the Real Housewife took to Twitter to make the happy announcement:

“My divorce is final today!! Over the moon happy!”

Divorces are among the most stressful experiences that a person can have — short of staying in a doomed, miserable marriage.

That’s not really a surprise, since we all saw Kelly Dodd’s marriage in shambles on The Real Housewives of Orange County last November.

Some divorces take years of court battles, so it’s wonderful news that Kelly Dodd got her divorce in such a short time.

However, Kelly’s (former?) friend, Vicki Gunvalson, has become the subject of Kelly’s ire over her ex’s hookup.

See, while in Vegas, apparently Vicki and her boyfriend, Steve Lodge, more or less set up Kelly’s ex, Michael, with a mutual friend.

Kelly was furious to see Vicki appear to give Michael aid and comfort. That’s pretty understandable.

RadarOnline has the scoop on this drama that is unfolding between Kelly Dodd and Vicki Gunvalson.

For starters, it sounds like Vicki is denying everything.

“Vicki has tried doing everything she can to back pedal on this one, and she insists that she did not purposely try to set Michael up with her and Steve’s mutual friend.”

So … it just happened?

“She told Kelly that the hookup happened organically while they were on vacation, and that she didn’t mean to hurt her at all.”

We wonder how Kelly took those assurances.

Just kidding — no need to wonder.

“Kelly obviously thinks that Vicki is full of s–t and so does the rest of the cast.”

That’s a bold claim.

“Vicki was supposed to be her friend, and now Kelly just thinks that she is nothing but a backstabbing b—h.”

There are clearly a lot of emotions at play, here.

“But Kelly is moving on from this and is not going to waste any more time worrying about her ex-husband — and ex-friend!”

Oh goodness. Will this be a new longstanding feud, or will they mend fences at the end of this storyline?

Unfortunately, it sounds like Vicki’s stubbornness might cost her a friendship.

“Vicki isn’t even trying to kiss Kelly’s a– at this point because she really believes that she did not do anything wrong.”

Even if you don’t think that you did anything wrong, sometimes it helps to apologize and take steps in that direction.

It sounds like Vicki’s loyalties are torn.

“Vicki honestly likes Michael, and she cannot change the fact that Michael and Steve are close friends now.”

A lot of people end up being friends with each other’s exes. It’s part of life. Most don’t vacation with them, but still.

And it looks like some are just blaming Steve.

“Kelly knows that the two are friends, so for her to try and put the blame on Vicki is just complete crap!”

It’s worth noting that RadarOnline reports that this drama will play out, on camera, on the next season of The Real Housewives of Orange County.

In other words, viewers and fans will get to see Kelly Dodd explode over this on camera.

Is Kelly Dodd right — did Vicki betray her (and the unwritten “girl code”) by enabling Michael Dodd to hook up?

Is Vicki Gunvalson right — is Kelly freaking out over something that was beyond Vicki’s control, with Vicki merely being polite to her boyfriend’s friend and an organic hookup taking place?

Perhaps, as the storyline plays out on television, we’ll all find out together.

Kelly and Michael Dodd: Divorcing!

Kelly Dodd has proven to be very impulsive during her time on The Real Housewives of Orange County. Whether she’s throwing shade or crazy rumors around about her cast mates, she makes for pretty good TV.

But, there’s a whole new storyline headed her way that will make for some solid episodes of the Bravo reality TV series. That storyline involves her divorce from Michael Dodd.

That’s right, you guys. Kelly is apparently divorcing Michael, and we are not entirely surprised. Their relationship has been all over the place since they married 11 years ago.

If you watch The Real Housewives of Orange County online, you will already know that their relationship has been a rocky road. While Kelly has a mouth on her that cannot help but say negative things about her co-stars, Michael is considerably more subdued.

Maybe he knows there could be repercussions to everything he says because he’s aware everything he says could be edited by RHOC producers to construct a coherent (we kid) storyline.

“Our marriage is over, I’m out of there!” Hurricane Kelly dished to the Daily Mail about the split.

“We’ve had problems for years, and I’ve had enough, I’m done with our marriage.”

“We aren’t good together, maybe we’ll be better to each other when we are divorced and are friends,” she added.

“But right now we are both miserable, and it’s not good for either one of us, let alone our daughter.”

When you think about it, it’s not like they did not try. The duo was initially set to divorce back in 2012, but they mysteriously got back together before Kelly started filming with RHOC.

But, the drama never really died down, and the police were called to the couple’s home six times in July after some very big arguments that had some people concerned.

“I filed for divorce against Michael in 2012, and we never had any resolution the case is just sitting there. So I’m going to ask my attorney to file a motion so I can get a bifurcated divorce.”

“I want out of my marriage as soon as possible. We can figure out the financials of our divorce down the road,” said Dodd.

In any case, it seems like their relationship has seen better days and Kelly is now ready to get out before they get hurt some more. In fact, she’s trying to get a bifurcated divorce.

That would allow her to be legally divorced before the details have been finalized. Could this be a tactic to make sure she actually gets out of the marriage this time around?

Maybe she knows there’s a chance they could end up rekindling their relationship and the speedy divorce would probably make that more difficult.

Kelly has been an utter delight on RHOC. Her witty comments and her no BS attitude have helped reinvigorate the series somewhat. She runs her mouth without thinking anything through, and that makes for TV gold in our eyes.

It’s unclear whether the show is filming right now, or if there will be a miraculous time jump between seasons and a lengthy opening message from Kelly about what happened.

Either way, we cannot wait to get all the details on the matter!

What do you think about all of this?

Sound off below!

The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 11 Episode 9 Recap: Kelly Dodd Defends Herself

On The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 11 Episode 9, Kelly Dodd once again sought to explain her rough behavior this far.

For a new cast member, KD is already notorious, and The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 11 Episode 9 was proof of this.

To be the focal point of so much drama so soon is pretty impressive, but after the Battle at Beadors, well, Dodd’s notoriety is well earned.

This week, she put it all out there on the table.

“I feel like we were getting along really well,” Heather Dubrow said of herself and Shannon Beador, Kelly Dodd’s newfound rival.

“But that sushi dinner?”

“I’ve just never been involved in something like that. The screaming and vulgarity? I felt like I was suffocating and I had to leave.”

Dodd’s response?

“I was kind of shocked that you got so upset at me because I wasn’t talking to you,” she said, feigning incredulity fairly well.

“It was a nightmare, and I’m really ashamed of myself, quite honestly,” Dodd added, but Dubrow said she wasn’t buying it.

Heather told the Bravo cameras that “I think it’s great that Kelly’s showing remorse and she’s ashamed of her behavior.”

BUT …

“But the last two times I have been with Kelly, she has acted in a way that I think is not acceptable,” so why assume she’ll ever change?

It’s a good point she raises.

Dubrow also asked Dodd why she made fun of her behind her back: “I leave and I hear you imitated me and made fun of me?”

“Why would you do that?”

Dodd’s response is that Dubrow wanted her to leave, and well, that’s just kind of ridiculous. “That wasn’t your party!” she said.

“That wasn’t your place.”

Heather’s take on that?

“When you start calling people the c-word and ‘dumb f—k’ screaming in the middle of restaurants, you lose all right to say.”

Okay then.

Dodd seemed at least partially humbled by that one, walking it back by saying, “I didn’t mean it towards you. I was wrong!”

“I admitted it. I’m not saying my behavior was right … it was wrong. That’s not my personality at all. I do not behave that way.”

“And I don’t hang out with women like that at all. It was probably the alcohol. And I felt like I was being attacked. She struck a nerve.”

“I was emotional. Do you understand how that made me feel?” Dodd said through tears. “I don’t just attack people. I don’t do that.”

She later broke down to the cameras, adding: “I know I have a problem with my anger, but I’m a mom and I’m a damn good mom.”

Dodd continued in her own defense:

“I have never been inappropriate around children … ever. When anybody accuses me of something untrue, the feeling of hurt is the reaction.”

“And I’m a very very emotional person,” she said, wishing this could all go away. “I feel like I’m treading water and I’m drowning.”

Did Dubrow buy it? Yes and no.

“It seems like Kelly’s tears were real,” she revealed. “She seems remorseful. But every time I see her it’s a different personality.”

What more can she say?

It’s hard to just assume everything is fine and let bygones be bygones when someone’s track record suggests otherwise, but here’s hoping.

“I guess we’re just going to have to wait and see,” Heather added, and if you watch The Real Housewives of Orange County online, you can do the same.
