As you’ve no doubt heard by now, Justin Bieber is engaged to Hailey Baldwin.

And unlike the many, many other times that the media has claimed Justin is getting engaged, this time it’s the real deal.

Yes, Bieber and Baldwin have confirmed their engagement, which means the Summer of Wealthy Early-Twentysomethings Getting Engaged to People They’ve Only Been Dating For a Few Months is in full swing.

And it’s just as annoying as it sounds.

Naturally, fans have been wondering what Justin’s most famous ex, Selena Gomez, thinks of all this.

We’ve heard rumors that Selena is pissed about the engagement, which would certainly make sense.

Then again, there also been reports that Gomez is glad to be rid of Bieber for good and actually feels bad for Baldwin.

As is so often the case with this sort of thing, it seems that the truth is less interesting than the rumors.

According to People magazine — probably the most reliable outlet to report on Selena’s reaction — the singer simply couldn’t care less about the state of Justin’s love life.

“They haven’t spoken in months,” a source tells the publication.

“She hasn’t been talking about him since they ended things again earlier this year.”

Obviously, no one will know for sure what Selena makes of the situation unless she decides to speak out on the matter herself.

But this take sounds about right.

By most accounts, Selena wasn’t too broken up following her latest split with Justin, and she finally realized they just weren’t right for each other.

After the sixth or seventh breakup, you probably stop thinking of the other person as your one and only.

Besides, Selena’s career is going better than ever these days, and sources close to the singer says she’s the happiest she’s ever been.

She may have experienced a pang of sadness upon realizing the ex she dated longer than anyone else is getting married.

But we’re guessing it didn’t last long.

And if Selena ever doubts that she dodged a bullet, she need only look at a pic of the mustache Bieber is rocking these days.

That thing is truly unfortunate.

Selena Gomez: I Hope Hailey Baldwin Enjoys Justin Bieber"s LIES!!

Over the weekend, Justin Bieber proposed to Hailey Baldwin. These two, who were exes until very recently, are now engaged.

But what does the Biebs’ most famous ex, Selena Gomez, think? She was dating him (again) just a few months ago.

Now, a source close to her is sharing exactly what she thinks about Justin and Hailey’s sudden engagement.

A source close to the beautiful and talented Selena Gomez reveals to Life & Style exactly what she thinks of Justin’s abrupt proposal.

The insider says that Selena “knows that he will come running back eventually.”

Well, he certainly has in the past. Again and again and again.

Selena is so confident, the source says, “because she has no doubt in her mind that the two of them will break up, as they did before.”

It’s hard to argue with that. Has enough changed for Justin and for Hailey to prevent history from repeating itself?

Just because Selena believes that Justin will come back to her doesn’t mean that she’s looking forward to it.

“This whole thing with Hailey is the exact reason why Selena doesn’t want him anymore,” the insider explains.

Justin has definitely changed. He might not have the alleged sobriety issues of his past, but he’s swapped that for 100 hours of tattoo work on his body.

Also, in his most recent photos, he kind of looks like somebody’s stepdad. Not a specific person, just the concept of a stepdad. It’s partially the facial hair.

But Selena has more issues than that, it seems.

“He can never be without a woman” the source explains about Selena’s frustrations. “And she does not believe any of his lies anymore.”

If you’re thinking good for you, Selena! You’re free! … well, you’re not alone.

Sources close to Selena’s family, and particularly to her mother, Mandy Teefey, say that the sentiment is a popular one.

“Her family feels that no one has ever gotten under her skin like Justin,” the insider dishes.

That is very difficult to dispute. Between her songs about him to how many times they’ve gotten together, he’s clearly left a lasting impact on her.

(Anyone else suddenly nostalgic for that time when Selena was still shading Justin about being short and they hadn’t so much as kissed? Good times)

“And,” the source continues. “Ultimately, he affected her in a deeply negative way.”

Sometimes, even the longest and most impactful relationships are toxic. And Selena is going through a lot with her ongoing battle with Lupus.

“Mandy really believes that Selena will be able to heal faster without him,” the insider concludes.

Fans were also quick to link news of Justin’s engagement to Hailey with thoughts of Selena.

“I can’t be the only one who thinks Justin Bieber only proposed to Hailey Baldwin to get Selena Gomez’s attention,” one fan tweeted.

That same Twitter user continued, writing: “I feel like he will always love Selena and everyone else is a rebound.”

Perhaps so.

Another person wrote: “Justin is engaged to Hailey Baldwin after a month of dating.”

They continued: “and people making it a big deal because Hailey was his rebound from Selena years ago.”

Some of those folks wonder if Hailey is once again Justin’s rebound.

Selena Gomez has her own life to live. She’s an actress and an extraordinary singer.

She and her life are not defined by Justin Bieber.

But the news of Justin and Hailey’s engagement came as relief to no shortage of Selenators who want to see Selena live her best life.

Jelena, they believe, can remain where it belongs in the ashes of history.

Selena Gomez: PISSED About Justin Bieber-Hailey Baldwin Engagement!

As you’ve likely heard by now, Justin Bieber is reportedly engaged to Hailey Baldwin.

Beliebers the world over were stunned by the news, but perhaps no one was more shocked than Justin’s most famous ex, Selena Gomez.

Justin and Selena just got back together for the 40 bajillionth time earlier this year, and many fans assumed that if Justin were to propose to anyone, it would be Gomez.

Sources close to the singer say Selena was utterly blindsided by the report that Justin and Hailey are planning to get hitched.

“Selena was totally shocked and stunned to hear it’s being reported that Justin proposed to Hailey,” one insider tells Hollywood Life.

“She honestly can’t believe it. Selena didn’t think they were even that serious, so the thought of them getting married is just mind-boggling to her.”

Like pretty much everyone who’s familiar with this situation, Selena is mystified as to what Justin was thinking when he popped the question to a woman he’s only been with for a few weeks.

“Selena can’t help feeling that Justin has some ulterior motive going on, like, he’s trying to make her jealous, or he’s proving a point to her that he really is grown up and ready for commitment,” our source added.

“She just can’t get her mind around it otherwise.”

Obviously, Selena is far from alone on that one.

A different source claims Selena blames her mother for her latest breakup with Justin.

“We could easily be talking about Justin and Selena being engaged right now, but the strain that her mom brought to that rekindled relationship basically was the last straw for them to be a forever couple,” the insider says.

“They tried and there was push-back from her family to him and he didn’t want to deal with that the rest of his life. So that is why he found love elsewhere.”

One insider says the quickie engagement has led Selena to question whether Justin’s declarations of love were ever sincere:

“If it is a serious proposal, and Justin is being totally genuine in wanting to marry Hailey, then Selena can’t help questioning what he really felt about her, and if her really did love her, because it was only a few months ago that he was declaring his undying love for her, and swearing he couldn’t live without her,” the source claims.

Of course, that doesn’t necessarily mean Justin was lying to Selena.

We get the feeling this is a guy who falls in and out of love very easily.

Like, we wouldn’t be surprised if dude proposed to an Egg McMuffin this morning.

Selena Gomez: All Smiles Amidst Justin Bieber Engagement Bombshell

Have you heard the stunning news?

Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin are engaged.

Multiple outlets have reported that the singer proposed to the model while the two were on vacation in the Bahamas and, of course, she said yes.

We know, right? EEEEK!!!

And also: WTH? Really?!?

Bieber and Baldwin carried on a fairly brief romance toward the end of 2015 and the beginning of 2016, with the latter even admitting at the time that the stars were very casual and not exclusive.

They were basically just banging.

But Justin and Hailey reportedly kept in close touch after they went their separate ways and then started touching each other’s private parts again just last month.

The Internet saw photos of Baldwin and Bieber kissing, yet this same Internet was still woefully unprepared for this earth-shattering, life-altering engagement news.

Seriously, did any of you see this coming?!?

Naturally, however, there’s only one person whose take is truly desired right about now.

What, pray tell, must Selena Gomez be thinking at the moment?

The artist dated Bieber off and on for many years, culminating in a reconciliation this past fall that many assumed would lead to the Jelena wedding for which we’ve all been waiting.

Alas, the rekindled romance barely got off the ground before it ended… by Selena’s hand, nearly all insiders have indicated.

Still, just because she pulled the plug on Bieber, this doesn’t mean she’s totally cool with him asking someone else to marry him.

Right?

Wrong, perhaps.

On the same day Bieber proposed to Baldwin, Gomez was hanging out in New York City with friends and looking like this:

Close friend and assistant Theresa Mingus shared the above snapshot on her Instagram Stories Sunday, just after the Bieber-Baldwin engagement news went viral.

It’s unlikely that Selena was actually aware at the time of her ex-boyfriend’s proposal, but we’d still like to believe she simply smiled broadly and shook her head upon learning what transpired.

Last we heard, Gomez was absolutely fine with Bieber dating Baldwin, having moved very far on from the man who treated her so poorly over the years.

“Selena doesn’t care what Justin does with his love life anymore,” a source said three weeks ago, adding:

“In the end, Justin turned out to be exactly the same person he [always was], a selfish and immature kid who only cares about himself.”

This may be true, but his engagement must still sting for Selena.

And for all those fans who fantasized that she would end up with Bieber in the end.

It’s also important to remember that Gomez has checked into rehab on multiple occasions to deal with bouts of depression and anxiety.

This makes us a bit concerned over her emotional state right about now.

Let’s just hope the singer’s support system is strongly in place and let’s just hope the above quote is accurate.

She can do so much better than Bieber and she better know it.

Selena Gomez: Hollywood is Killing Me ... I Need to Escape!

Selena Gomez has really been through the wringer. Falling back in and out of love and facing multiple major health scares isn’t easy and it will take its toll.

She’s even scared some of her fans. And those are just a handful of the issues with which she’s grappling on a daily basis.

Now, a report says that she knows the solution: she needs to get the hell out of Hollywood.

According to Life & Style, Selena plans her exodus from L.A. in order to live a more authentic, less stressful life.

Their insider reports: “She says she’s done with the Hollywood life and all the fakeness that surrounds it.”

Hey, we get it. L.A. is full of fake lunch plans, fake body parts, and astrology.

“She’s leaving LA,” the source says. “She just wants to get away from it all.”

Think that it sounds like a good idea? Longtime Selena bestie Taylor Swift thinks so, too.

The insider says: “Taylor’s been raving to Selena that it was one of the best decisions she’s ever made.”

“Selena’s still deciding where to move,” the source explains.

In the mean time, Selena has apparently been spending time being low key in both London and Nashville.

The insider says that she’s still weighing her options, “but [her native] Texas is an option.”

Selena is a Texas girl and may just return.

Apparently, she has a particular fantasy for how her life mgiht go.

“She’d love to live in a huge farmhouse,” the source reveals. “And build a studio so she can continue writing and working on her music.”

Well, that wouldn’t be for everyone — but if that’s her dream, she should probably follow her bliss.

As we are all-too-aware, Hailey Baldwin has been enjoying Selena’s slopping seconds. By which we mean that she’s dating Selena’s many-times ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber.

This source says that Selena is well-aware that her former friend and former boyfriend are once again hooking up, and she’s not exactly thrilled.

“She can’t stand looking at the photos of them,” the insider reports.

Plenty of people find it a little nauseating, even though Hailey is very easy to look upon — and, despite his creepy mustache and covering his body in 100 hours worth of tattoos, so is the Biebs.

But for Selena, this isn’t about looks. It’s about emotions.

“She’s traumatized by it,” the source claims.

That sounds a little hyperbolic, but it is easy to imagine her watching Justin seduce another ex with the same church dates and feel sickened that she fell for it herself.

Speaking of Selena’s feelings, there is also the matter of designer Stefano Gabbano claiming that Selena Gomez is “ugly.”

He’s clearly wrong and awful for saying it. But while Selenators and everyone else with basic human decency (and eyes!) were filled with fury, Selena felt wounded.

The insider describes: “Selena was so hurt”

We totally understand that.

What a nasty fellow.

There is apparently another reason that Selena wants to leave Hollywood — and it’s for her health.

“It’s hard to steer clear of the party scene there,” the insider reports. “Selena’s determined to avoid temptation. It’ll be easier if it’s not in her face.”

That makes sense.

“Hollywood made her a star,” the source admits. “But it’s also been hellish for her, mentally and physically.”

And she can’t afford to take any risks as she continues her battle with Lupus.

“Selena needs a fresh start,” the insider concludes. “And that’s exactly what she’s going to get.”

Selena Gomez Horror Video Scares the Bejesus Out of Fans

Despite what one moronic designer said recently, Selena Gomez is not ugly.

She is very, very pretty in fact.

This very clear fact said, the singer did just frighten the ever-living heck out of her fans via her appearance… although not for the reason you may think.

Gomez didn’t get a weird haircut or don some unusual ensemble on the red carpet of some event.

Instead, the former Disney Channel star returned to her acting roots by teaming up with her close friend, Canadian artist and director Petra Collins, for a new strange and nightmarish short horror film.

It’s titled “Love Story.” But that appears to be a misnomer.

Rolled out exclusively on Instagram’s new long-form video platform IGTV, the film is filled with disturbing imagery, as teased by a few excerpts Collins shared late yesterday.

In an extended clip, for example, Gomez is totally nude and taking a bath with a prosthetic face in the water.

She wears the eerioe flesh on various parts of her body, including her own face, before it appears as if she leans in to kiss it.

We told you: This is creepy stuff!

Oh, and Gomez also sucks on a singular eyeball at one point and lies at the legs of a woman with a face made out of a dismembered fingers.

Later, the ex-Justin Bieber lover just casually scrapes icing off her own leg with a knife — and eats it.

Many fans appear to be legitimately upset by this footage, accusing Gomez of having become someone they don’t recognize and apparently don’t like very much.

“I think you changed Selena. I miss Selena in 2016 and I want in 2016 and I want it back … I’m afraid,” one fan commented in response to the footage, while another added:

“This has a serial killer vibe to it!”

It’s certainly true that Selena has grown up a lot.

She isn’t the innocent Disney star who first burst on the scene as the lead cast member in Wizards of Waverly Place.

But there’s nothing wrong with that. People grow and evolve and change. This ought to be encouraged for the most part.

Collins and Gomez previously worked together on the singer’s 2017 music videos for “Bad Liar” and “Fetish,” the latter of which featured its own fair share of strange imagery (including Gomez flailing around the kitchen, eating lipstick and glass).

The two are very close and have often talked about a collaboration of some kind.

Moreover, Gomez has never been shy about her affection for the horror genre.

“I love The Exorcist and the things that come from inside you, the things that are a little more subtle, and things that you deal with from inwards,” Collins told Vanity Fair last May, adding:

“I feel like it’s something Selena and I both love talking about … that topic is sort of dear to us.”

For her part, the 13 Reasons Why producer opened up about working with Collins in a July 2017 interview with Dazed:

“People don’t know but my personal life ties into the work we do together because [she] knows things about my life that nobody knows and I know a lot about [her] life that nobody knows.

“It comes out, somehow.”

Selena Gomez to Hailey Baldwin: Enjoy My Sloppy Seconds!

Selena Gomez knows a thing or two dozen about getting back together with Justin Bieber.

So, with the latter singer very clearly having reunited recently with ex-girlfriend Hailey Baldwin, what does his other ex-girlfriend have to say about this development?

LOL! Good luck with that, Hailey, basically sums it up.

Gomez, of course, jumped into bed once again with Bieber late last year, shortly after her split from The Weeknd and also shortly after she underwent a kidney transplant.

Sources claimed at the time that it took this sort of life-altering procedure for Bieber to realize how much he truly loved Selena and to realize that he couldn’t live without her.

The Internet thought that maybe this reconciliation would be the final one and the stars truly would end up together.

Instead, they broke up after just a few months.

Most insiders agree that it was actually Selena who ended the latest version of this romance, as she clashed with loved ones over Justin’s influence on her and, we guess, at last concluded that the artist just wasn’t worth her time.

She could do a lot better.

Fast forward to a few weeks ago and rumors that Bieber was dating Baldwin, with whom he had enjoyed a fling back in 2016.

The model and the singer were spotted making out in public this past weekend during a visit to New York City, prompting many to wonder how Selena must be feeling at the moment.

And Radar Online claims to have the answer:

She’s feeling just dandy, thanks for asking!

“Hailey must recognize now that she will always be Justin’s second choice,” Radar quotes a friend of Selena’s as saying, adding:

“Selena doesn’t care what Justin does with his love life anymore.

“In the end, Justin turned out to be exactly the same person he [always was], a selfish and immature kid who only cares about himself.”

Wow, well… okay then!

Bieber may not be touching her bush any longer, but Gomez apparently isn’t interested in beating around any bushes, either, when it comes to her take on her ex.

Don’t get this report wrong, though.

It’s not as if Gomez is sitting back and refreshing her social media feed every two seconds for an update on Justin and Hailey. She has moved on.

“Selena is relaxing on vacation in Italy with a hot European hunk,” this insider actually tells Radar, concluding:

“Justin is the farthest thing from her mind right now and she is just glad that she decided to leave him when she did.”

Amen, sister!

You deserve SO much better than Justin Bieber and we’re confident you will someday find it.

Just keep doing you, girl. Oh, and keep doing whichever hot Italian hunks you please as well. Well earned.

Loser Designer Blasts Selena Gomez as "Ugly," Fans React in Horror

You can say many things about Selena Gomez.

You can say you don’t like her music because you’re entitled to that opinion.

You can say you she has bad taste in men because Justin Bieber has never treated her well.

You can say she makes poor decisions with her hairstyle at times.

But you cannot say what Stefano Gabbana just said about the singer, not if you want to avoid very deserved backlash from millions of people on social media.

The Italian designer, who co-founded the fashion label label Dolce & Gabbana, went out of his way on Instagram this week to attack Gomez.

In the comments of a photo on The Catwalk Italia’s Instagram account, Gabbana wrote the following alongside a collage of Selena picture:

È proprio brutta!!!

This translates, very simply and extremely rudely, to: She’s so ugly.

The insult was many things; unprovoked, cruel, sexist and objectively untrue.

And while Gomez has thus far taken the high road, refusing to even acknowledge Gabbana’s existence, her friends and fans online have been unable to show similar restraint.

“@stefanobabbana you’re tired and over. your homophobic, misogynistic, body-shaming existence will not thrive in 2018,” Tweeted 13 Reasons Why actor Tommy Dorfman, who plays Ryan Shaver in the Netflix drama.

He added:

“it is no longer tolerable or chic. please take many seats.”

And then there was this from a Gomez follower:

“Shame on you for online bullying. Doesn’t matter if 1 million people see it or 1 person, it’s bullying. It’s wrong.”

And then this from another Gomez follower, who kept it short and simple and supportive:

“We love this beautiful queen.”

Julia Michaels, a singer-songwriter and close friend of Selena’s tweeted:

“@selenagomez just here to tell you that you are one of the most beautiful women I know, inside and out. I love you always.”

This really is true.

While the merits of what Gabbana said are really beside the point, it might as well be pointed out while we’re here:

Selena Gomez is a very pretty young woman. Full stop. This statement really can’t be debated.

Over the years, Gabbana has bullied stars on social media numerous times, including Kate Mossand Victoria Beckham.

Most recently, he went after Kate Moss on the same Catwalk Italia Instagram page, dissing a Saint Laurent look she was wearing … just because.

In 2015, celebrities such as Elton John, Courtney Love and Ricky Martin boycotted the fashion brand over insensitive comments Dolce and Gabbana made about IVF and LGBTQ families.

Moreover, the brand released a $ 245 “#BoycottDolceGabbana” graphic T-shirt inspired by the negative response to First Lady Melania Trump wearing their designs.

In other words: it courts controversy like this.

So the best thing to do is what Selena has done, which is to totally and completely ignore the misguided and pathetic messenger.

This will be the last time we write about him.

Jennifer Aniston Cutting Ties With Justin Theroux ... Because of Selena Gomez?!

It’s been four months since Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux ended their marriage, but they’re a modern couple with a lot of mutual friends, so they’ll probably stay on amicable turns, a la Chris and Gwyneth, Ross and Rachel, right?

Wrong! It turns out this situation is closer to when Rachel left that dentist at the altar or … every other non-Hollywood divorce you’ve ever heard about.

According to Life & Style, Jen and Justin are at war, and Aniston is planning to go nuclear on Justin’s career and social life.

But it wasn’t the breakup that left her so angry.

No, those who know them best say Jen and Justin parted on good terms.

Unfortunately, after the fact, the fact Justin went tom-catting about town with various young starlets, a practice that Jen took as his attempt to embarrass her publicly.

Sources say Aniston was particularly upset over rumors that Theroux is dating Selena Gomez, a woman with a well-known affinity for Justins.

“As far as Jen’s concerned, it’s her or Justin and she doesn’t want to be a part of Justin’s social chain,” a source tells L&S.

Selena may have been the final straw, but she’s not the first young starlet Justin’s been spotted with.

“Jen was angry enough to see [Justin] at dinner with Emma Stone, whom she considers a friend,” says the insider.

“But then she has to contend with new photos of him schmoozing all over Selena Gomez and it’s really tipped her over the edge.” 

Unfortunately for Jen, it seems she might be seeing a whole lot more of Jen and Justin canoodling.

“They’ve known each other for years through their manager,” the source claims.

“Initially, they leaned on each other for emotional support after going through messy breakups.”

The insider adds that Jen and Justin have “become closer than ever” in recent months, adding:

“It’s turned into something more than friendship.”

And if the insider is to be believed, Aniston has come up with a sort of sad revenge plan:

“Jen’s telling friends that she wants to date a younger guy,” the insider claims.

Seems to us that getting back together with Brad Pitt would be an even bigger eff-you, but maybe that’s just because we want to see that happen.
