Derick Dillard ROASTED by Fans Over New Haircut, Awful Diet!
We’ve seen Derick Dillard with long hair and with short hair. While TLC has fired Derick for his transphobic tweets against Jazz Jennings, fans can still see his haircut mishaps on social media.
And his latest haircut, though neither his longest or his shortest, might be his worst ever. Fans are roasting him over it, left and right.
We don’t want to go so far as to say that the haircut is a divine punishment, but Derick Dillard’s disastrous ‘do might be a natural consequence of the awful things that he says.
At the risk of perpetuating stereotypes … if you’re super anti-LGBT+ and you’re also not the sort of person who associates with many women outside of your family, your hairstyling might suffer.
Maybe that’s not a priority for Derick Dillard?
But though there are absolutely heterosexual men who are hairstylists, in addition to plenty of straight male barbers (I’m not clear on how barbers are different from hair stylists and at this point in life I’m too afraid to ask) …
… We almost wonder if homophobia and some nervousness about women is behind the fact that Jill always cuts Derick’s hair.
Plenty of people cut their own hair or their partner’s hair, but they’re being frugal.
As we saw when Jill and Derick shared those tone-deaf date night photos, the Dillards are not shy about spending money that many believe may have come from their dubious fundraising.
So it may be that Derick is afraid that going into a salon and letting a woman who isn’t his wife (some vile temptress!) or perhaps even a gay man cut his hair would test either his marriage or his faith.
But, you know what?
We should also consider that Derick Dillard’s bigotry isn’t necessarily behind his weird haircuts.
Maybe he just likes letting Jill cut his hair, no matter how it makes him look.
Because, for all of Derick’s many, many flaws, he loves his wife and it’s something that they can do together.
Again, this is just our speculation, but that’s almost sweet.
Speaking of sweet, the “best” (worst) photo of Derick’s new hair comes with him eating cookie dough (the best way to eat cookies) in a snap that Jill shared to Instagram.
Jill wrote the caption:
“My sweet hubby @derickdillard #livingontheedge eating some raw #cookiedough #lol”

If you think that we’re overreacting to this 1970s-era horror-show and merely assuming that fans had the same response, think again.
Commenters wrote:
“I’m sorry, but everything about this photo is creepy.”
Many thought that he looked like a creepy uncle from decades past.
“I like this family but this guy looks like someone on the 70’s show.”
That’s a reference to That ’70s Show, and they’re not wrong.
(Note, the emover that was so very fashionable around 2007 is not the same — it had much more body and gave a more sculpted, sleeker look)

That last comment was less about Derick Dillard’s haircut, we think, and more about his recent eating habits.
Remember how Derick Dillard came back from his controversial mission trip, looking as gaunt as Jesus is sometimes depicted?
Fans were worried.
Now, he seems to be snacking on junk food exclusively. We all like junk food, but things like his corndog-and-twinkie “midnight snack” have fans feeling alarmed.
Catastrophic weight loss followed by binging on junk food can be worse than just binging on junk food alone. We’re not shaming Derick Dillard for his eating habits (heck, I don’t even shame Trump for his eating habits), just confirming that his concerned fans have some validity.
As you can imagine, the fan responses to the photo of Derick have now broken down to debates over Derick Dillard’s transphobic tweets against Jazz Jennings and the trans community.
Those calling out Derick for his bigoted stances are themselves being accused of “bullying” by Derick’s defenders.
While posting comments teasing Derick over his hair sounds like classic bullying — it is, ultimately, his choice, we don’t see how pointing out that Derick’s recent controversial statements are bigoted is bullying.
Because his statements about trans kids and about trans teen Jazz Jennings have been … well, inflammatory.

Kendall Jenner Debuts Super-Short Haircut, Becomes Kris Jenner Doppelganger
Kendall Jenner has been in the news quite a bit in recent months, but not for reasons that have anything to do with her modeling career.
First, there was the uproar over Kendall’s ridiculous Pepsi commercial that attempted to use racial unrest and the historic Black Lives Matter movement as gimmicks to sell carbonated sugar water.
Shortly thereafter, Kendall’s relationship with Blake Griffin (and the attendant rumor that she’s been banned from the Staples Center) made tabloid headlines.
And then there was the epic social media roasting that ensued after Kendall was named “Fashion Icon of the Decade” as part of some New York Fashion Week publicity stunt.
Needless to say, it’s been a rough year for the only member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan with a real job.
(We’re sure there are many who would argue that modeling doesn’t really qualify as a real job, but it certainly comes closer than reality TV star or “social media influencer.”)
Kendall has endured a string of PR nightmares that would leave many celebs plummeting toward the D-list.
Usually, Kenny would turn to her mom to get her out of a tight spot like this, but now that she’s grown and rocking Fashion Week on her own, it looks like she’s decided to take the reins of her career by literally becoming Kris Jenner.
Okay, she didn’t literally become Kris, but Kendall’s looking a lot like the world’s most famous momager, thanks to the dramatically shorter pixie cut she’s rocking these days.
Kendall debuted her new look on the NYFW runway last night, where she presumably stopped strutting long enough to accept her Most Important Person in the History of Ever Award.
She posted the above pic on Instagram as a means of sharing the moment with us plebes who weren’t able to attend the Tom Ford show.
Because this is 2017, the internet has much to say about KJ’s new ‘do.
Remarkably, the response has been overwhelmingly positive.
We say that’s remarkable not because it’s an unattractive look, but because Twitter has reveled in dogpiling Kendall lately.
But the knives have apparently been put away for this one.
Naturally, many are reading way too much into the look, speculating that it may mark the beginning of a new era for Kendall.
We don’t know about all that.
We think she just looked in the mirror, asked herself what Kris Jenner would do, grabbed the scissors and started chopping.
Then she called 75 publicists because that’s Kris’ answer to everything.

Johnny Depp Hangs With Controversial Friend, Sports Dumb Haircut
Last week, it was widely reported that Johnny Depp was hiding out on his private island and planned to continue doing so until the controversy surrounding his ugly divorce from Amber Heard begins to subside.
So you can imagine our shock when Depp popped up in LA this week sporting a hipstery new ‘do and hanging with comic Doug Stanhope and noted Taylor Swift songbook interpreter Ryan Adams.
Depp’s return to LA isn’t even the most surprising thing about this photo.
Rather, it’s the fact that he’s hanging out with Stanhope, who’s been a magnet for bad press throughout Depp’s divorce, in part due to some remarkably asinine comments he made in a blog post that was later published on The Wrap.
As you may recall, the boozy, cultishly adored comic (whose age is unknown according to Wikipedia) was one of the many celebs who rushed to Depp’s defense in the days after Heard’s domestic violence accusations went public.
Stanhope took things a step further than the rest, accusing Heard of blackmail in a scathing takedown.
In a recent interview with Howard Stern, Stanhope clarified that he didn’t choose the headline “Johnny Depp is Being Blackmailed By Amber Heard – Here’s How I Know,” but that doesn’t change with the fact that it fit the article that followed just fine.
Several media outlets have described Stanhope as Depp’s “best friend,” a title that formerly belonged to the ghost of Hunter S. Thompson who’s been known to visit the actor while he’s in the throes of the morning D.T.s.
Tim Burton remains unable to transcend his “Morrissey-loving goth who gets to sit at the cool kids’ table” status.
Anyway, sources say Depp not only posed for photos but jumped on stage at the famous Comedy Store on Sunset Blvd., thus confirming that he has zero f–ks to give about negative press.
Is he a modern day pirate with swagger to spare, or a wet-brained, tone deaf star who’s blissfully unaware that he’s in the midst of a potentially career-ending controversy.
You be the judge.
All we really be sure of at this point is that Johnny may have pulled off the nigh-impossible by beating out Ryan for the Dumbest Hipster Haircut in the Photo award.
A prestigious honor.

Jenelle Evans FREAKS OUT On Nathan Griffith Over Son"s Haircut! WATCH!
It doesn"t take much to set Jenelle Evans off.
In fact, we"re pretty sure she splits custody of her two sons with as many people as possible just so that she has more targets for her psychotic rage.
Just kidding, the courts made her do that because she"s a terrible mom.
Anyway, in a new clip from the upcoming episode of Teen Mom 2, Jenelle absolutely flips the f–k out, as is her wont, all because her son Kaiser"s hair is so infinitesimally shorter that someone had to point it to her, or she probably wouldn"t have noticed.
You may remember Nathan Griffith"s girlfriend, Jessica Henry, from the time that Jenelle got arrested for assault after throwing a glass at her.
We know it"s tough to keep track of all of Jenelle"s assault victims, but apparently Jessica has reached full-blown mortal enemy status, and Jenelle is pissed – pissed! – to find that she might have taken a few centimeters off of her son"s bangs.
"I"m changing my number right now, and if you want to see Kaiser, you can take me to court for visitation," she screams at Nathan…while driving…with her kid in the car.
The Jenelle-Nathan custody battle is still going on so we assume she"s really holding a grudge over that possible haircut.

Kylie Jenner Debuts "Dope" New Haircut
Kylie Jenner would like fans to focus on a new body part please.
Those huge lips? Those are so last year. Those buttocks? Sure, you can go ahead and stare at them.
But the 18-year old reality star is now asking followers to raise their eyes a few inches… because she has a fresh hairstyle!
“Thanks for the dope blunt haircut,” Jenner captioned a slow-motion video of herself on Instagram over the weekend, showing off her locks and giving celebrity hairstylist Priscilla Valles a shout-out.
Kylie, of course, is known for changing up her hair color more often than her half-sister changed up her position in the Kim Kardashian sex tape.
“It makes me feel like a new person,” Jenner said on her app last month of why she so often mixes up her look.
“I love feeling different and I love leaving the house knowing that nobody has ever seen me this way.”
Jenner can afford to talk about her hair more now because she and her family have received very good news concerning Lamar Odom:
After worrying for days about their loved one’s status, it now appears as if Odom is on a long roard to recovery.
So Kylie is able to go from one truly hairy situation to a literal hair situation. What do you think of her new ‘do?
