Ami Brown: Hospitalized Again During Battle with Cancer

We miss the days when Alaskan Bush People news had to do with finding materials or battling the elements, instead of Ami Brown’s battle with stage four lung cancer.

Despite everything, the Brown family has been forging on and making a new life in Colorado, this time a short distance from a hospital in case things with Ami at home should take a turn for the worse.

Having medical care nearby was a good call, because the latest update on the Brown family says that Ami is back in the hospital.

The Brown family, the stars of Alaskan Bush People — even though they’re now in Colorado — had been grappling with Ami Brown’s tragic cancer diagnosis.

They’ve been dealing with it on camera this season, but the fight for her health and for her life continues off camera, too.

Though Alaskan Bush People fans implored the Brown children to not close Browntown, the family had clearly had enough of roughing it in Alaska.

Honestly, everyone had expected that, between Ami’s cancer diagnosis and how long the series had been running, that the Brown family would just move on and use their reality TV money to live normal lives.

You know, back in civilization.

(Of course, some Alaskan Bush People fans claim that the show is fake because the Brown family has supplies that aren’t foraged, but … no matter what your stance on that might be, the Brown kids weren’t living normal lives)

But the show has still been running strong, and a while back it was reported that they were going ahead with yet another season.

We just hope that Ami Brown can hold on and get more time with her family.

But, as you know, she’s returned to the hospital.

The Facebook page known as Alaskan Bush People: Exposed has kept the world abreast of knowledge of the Brown family that doesn’t quite make it on camera.

They posed this oddly cheerful update:

“Just a quick update Ami is in the hospital and still being treated with chemotherapy. We will update as soon as any more details become available. Have a great weekend!”

This doesn’t sound like it was an emergency treatment, so it’s better than Ami having been rushed to the emergency room.

(Which sometimes happens with cancer patients)

Alaskan Bush People: Exposed haven’t provided any other updates or clarification, but we hope that this is just another scheduled round of chemo to help give Ami more time with her husband and her children.

In the mean time, Ami Brown’s young daughter, Rain, has gotten blasted on social media for posting selfies on Instagram while her mother has cancer.

This kind of criticism is absurd, but sadly not uncommon — people who’ve never had a loved one get a cancer diagnosis often don’t realize that life goes on, no matter the circumstances.

Rain Brown posting flower crown selfies to Instagram and enjoying her life is exactly what Ami Brown wants for her daughter to experience.

We’ve seen this with other celebrity kids whose parents are sick.

We’ve even seen this kind of thing with the Brown family.

Some fans have slammed Noah Brown for “abandoning” his family when really he’s just living his life and going places with his fiancee, as if visiting a zoo and loving his mother are mutually exclusive.

Fans who expect every Brown family social media post to be some sort of weeping, black-and-white tribute to Ami Brown don’t understand family, or grief, or life.

We’re all rooting for the Brown family matriarch to pull through.

Fans just wished Ami Brown happy birthday last week, and they aren’t prepared to see her go.

Neither, we’re sure, is Ami’s large if unconventional family.

We don’t know what will become of the family or the series if Ami loses her battle, and it’s hard to imagine the entire Brown family going on as before without Ami.

For now, though, she’s getting these chemo treatments to fight tooth-and-nail for her life. That’s all that anyone can do.

Prince Philip Hospitalized in London: Find Out Why!

Prince Philip, Queen Elizabeth II’s husband, has been hospitalized.

Buckingham Palace confirmed the news on Wednesday morning that he was admitted to King Edward VII Hospital in London Tuesday night “as a precautionary measure” to treat an infection “arising from a pre-existing condition.”

Prince Charles has been tapped to fill in for the Duke of Edinburgh at the State Opening of Parliament Wednesday, where he will join the Queen.

“Prince Philip is in good spirits and is disappointed to be missing the State Opening of Parliament and Royal Ascot,” Buckingham Palace said, adding, “Her Majesty is being kept informed and will attend Royal Ascot as planned this afternoon.”

During the speech, the Queen is expected to reveal the government agenda. This will be Charles’ third time attending the event with the Queen.

It was recently revealed that the 96-year-old was retiring from public appearances, with his final one scheduled for August.

A statement was released at the time by Queen Elizabeth II’s private secretary confirming the news.

Prince Philip “has decided that he will no longer carry out public engagements from the autumn of this year. In taking this decision, The Duke has the full support of The Queen.”

The Duke of Edinburgh “will attend previously scheduled engagements between now and August, both individually and accompanying The Queen,” the statement continued.

“Thereafter, The Duke will not be accepting new invitations for visits and engagements, although he may still choose to attend certain public events from time to time.”

“The Duke of Edinburgh is Patron, President or a member of over 780 organizations, with which he will continue to be associated, although he will no longer play an active role by attending engagements,” the statement continued.

“Her Majesty will continue to carry out a full program of official engagements with the support of members of the Royal Family.”

We wish Philip a speedy recovery.

Beyonce"s Twins: Why Are They Still Hospitalized?

Earlier this week, The Hollywood Gossip became the first outlet to reveal a pair of very cute Beyonce baby photos.

Granted, it was a joke, but it mostly well received by our readers.

The following update on Beyonce, Jay Z and their kids is not a joke, however. It’s actually (sort of) serious.

As previously mentioned here and on other websites across the Internet, Beyonce gave birth about a week ago.

We don’t know the exact date and we don’t know the names of the children.

We aren’t aware of their measurements and we think one is a boy and one is a girl, but even those pieces of crucial information cannot be verified at this time.

Multiple sources have confirmed, however, that Beyonce actually remains in the hospital with her twins.

The artist is fine, she’s simply keeping a watchful eye over the newborns.

But the babies are suffering from what was originally described as a minor health issue.

As you’re about to find out below, this may be true. But try telling any new parent that his or her newborn has been diagnosed with a “minor” health issue.

Nothing is minor when you just welcomed a tiny human into the world.

According to TMZ, Beyonce gave birth several days early.

The kids were born prematurely and are therefore “under the lights,” a medical source explains to the website.

Not many other specifics are available, but this term typically means the babies have jaundice due to elevated bilirubin levels, a common issue for kids that are not carried to full term.

The lights are meant to lower bilirubin in the blood to eliminate the jaundice.

The problem is not considered serious.

But, again, it’s serious enough for the twins to still be under doctors’ care.

Neither Beyonce nor Jay has said anything about their children just yet.

They have not confirmed this medical condition or even the fact that baby number-two and baby number-three now exist.

But Matthew Knowles, Beyonce’s semi-estranged father, Tweeted that he’s now a proud grandfather over the weekend, drawing the ire of some Beyonce fans who think he stole his daughter’s thunder.

They believe it should have been left to Beyonce to break this exciting news.

Of course, a multitude of websites had already done so and Knowles didn’t reveal anything about the kids except for the fact that they now exist.

We’ll continue to keep fans updated with the statues of Beyonce and her twins.

We don’t expect any real photos of the kids to be released any time soon, but it wouldn’t surprise us if the famous couple made a short and simple statement once everyone was home safe and sound from the hospital.

Until then, we’ll continue to send our prayers.

And we’ll continue to speculate on possible names as well. Hmmm….

Beyonce: Her Twins Remain Hospitalized for Health Issue

By now, you’ve surely heard the good news.

Beyonce has given birth to her twins!

The world feels different now, doesn’t it? More beautiful. More pure. Just better in an oddly tangible way.

The twins were born days ago, most likely on Monday — that’s why we’ve been hearing whispers and rumors all week, and also why Jay Z and Beyonce haven’t been spotted in a while.

We still don’t know the names of the new babies, and since it’s taken nearly a week to learn of their entrance into the world, we don’t expect to hear them anytime soon.

But multiple outlets are reporting that Beyonce gave birth to one boy and one girl.

It’s enough to bring a tear to your eye, isn’t it?

Unfortunately, according to some new information from TMZ, there is an issue with the babies.

There aren’t many details, but a source has told the site that doctors have noticed a “minor issue” with the twins, but it’s significant enough that they’re keeping them hospitalized.

As of now, there’s no word on what that issue could be, but the source insists that it’s not a huge deal.

Beyonce is still in the hospital too, but she’s said to be healthy.

The source says that doctors aren’t sure when everyone will be able to be released.

While this sounds alarming, and while it makes sense that you’d be rushing to your Beyonce altars to pray, there are plenty of reasons why the twins are staying in the hospital for now.

They could have had a low birth weight, which isn’t uncommon for twins.

They could also have jaundice, which would also make sense if they’re on the smaller side.

It could also be a number of other things — there are plenty of “minor issues” that could affect newborns enough to require hospitalization.

Whatever the issue is, it sounds like it’s under control, and that it’ll just take time to get the babies to the point they need to be to go home.

And it can’t be too bad — Beyonce’s father, Mathew Knowles, seems pretty happy about his new grandchildren.

“They’re here!” he wrote on Twitter, along with a sweet little card that read “Happy Birthday to the twins! Love, Grandad.”

Beyonce and Jay Z still haven’t made the official announcement — we’re sure they have other things on their minds at the moment.

But we’re sure it’ll be coming soon now.

Again, congrats to the new family of five!
