Audrey Roloff Addresses Single Ladies: Nevet Netflix and Chill!

About a year ago, Audrey Roloff stirred up a bit of controversy by doling out advice to fellow married folks.

First, she compared marriage to war, saying husbands and wives enter a “battlefield” on a regular basis.

In a semi-rambling blog post, the Little People, Big World star asked the following:

“What are you doing to protect your marriage against the dangers of, porn, workaholism, worry, pride, stress, fear, loss, addiction, comparison, social media, emotional cheating, that girl at the gym, in-laws, hormones, or idolizing your kids?”

Roloff got a lot of pushback for her comments, which she followed up suggesting that married couples she often recite their vows to each other.

In bed. During sex.

“I’ll spare you the details, but it was the most intimate thing we have ever done in our marriage,” Roloff wrote at the time. “And probably the most intimate thing I have ever done in my life.”

Roloff also received some Internet side-eye for this recommendation.

Therefore, perhaps sick of getting flak for what she has to say to other wives and their husband, Audrey has shifted her focus.

In her latest Instagram post, the reality star has directed her attention to single ladies around the world.

This is her Beyonce moment, people!

“To all the single girls out there… wait for the kind of man who wants to sit and talk with you by a campfire more than he wants to sit by you watching Netflix on a couch,” Roloff writes, expanding on this theme as follows:

“Wait for a man who comes to your door when he picks you up instead of just texting, ‘I’m here.’

“Wait for a man who is more dedicated to pursuing Jesus than he is to pursuing his career ambitions.

“Wait for a man who wants to get to know your friends and family instead of always insisting on hanging out alone.

“Wait for a man who you’d want to be the father of your children instead of a man who’s still acting like a child.”

Audrey has clearly found a man that fits these qualifications.

She has been gushing over Jeremy Roloff for many weeks and months now, especially in light of the couple expecting its first child this September.

“I know it may seem harsh, but I say these things to encourage you and give you hope,” Roloff said, seemingly aware that she may be inviting more criticism with these words of advice.

She concludes with a message of hope:

“That kind of man is out there. Don’t believe the big fat lie that tells you, “Oh I’ll never find someone like that.” Jeremy is not an exception.

“Men like this DO exist. Pray for him and wait for him.”

Audrey added the hashtag “#beating50percent” to her post, which is a reference to the fact that one-half of all marriages in the U.S. end in divorce.

She and Jeremy are beating those odds at the moment.

And soon they’ll be changing diapers!

The TLC stars started dating in 2011, got married in 2014 and will become parents this fall.

As you can see above, Audrey has been keeping social media followers well apprised of her baby bump status on Instagram, while the cable network is expected to air new episodes of Little People, Big World in a few months.

It’s very safe to assume that Audrey’s pregnancy and delivery will be a central storyline when the popular series returns.

Dave Chappelle Comedy Specials: Headed to Netflix!

Dave Chappelle is officially, 100%, totally and completely back.

The comedian, who received rave reviews for his Saturday Night Live hosting stint on November 12, has signed a pretty major deal with Netflix.

Scroll down for details…

The streaming company has announced on Twitter that it will release a trio of new comedy specials from Chappelle at various points in the near future.

No release dates have been revealed as of this writing.

However, we can confirm that one of the specials will be an original set filmed exclusively for Netflix, while the remaining two wil be from “Chappelle’s personal comedy vault” and were filmed at Austin City Limits Live and the Hollywood Paladium.

The following Tweet is the extent of the information Netflix has provided us with:

netflix tweet

“Dave Chappelle is a legendary voice in comedy – searing, vital, and now more than ever, essential,” said Lisa Nishimura, VP of Original Documentary and Comedy said via statement, adding:

“Dave’s three new specials promise to be some of the most anticipated events in comedy, and we are honored he will mark his global return on Netflix.”

Always a beloved and respected comedian, Chappelle struck it huge in 2003 with his Comedy Central sketch program, Chappelle’s Show

It was a critical and ratings hit and the network at the time offered him $ 50 million to film three more years of the series.

After initially agreeing to this deal and setting May 31, 2005 premiere date for Season 3, Chappelle stunned fans and the entertainment industry when he abruptly left during production and took a trip to South Africa.

It was reported by some at the time that he suffered some kind of nervous breakdown.

“Coming here, I don’t have the distractions of fame. It quiets the ego down,” he said at one point during his international sabbatical.

“I’m interested in the kind of person I’ve got to become. I want to be well-rounded and the industry is a place of extremes. I want to be well-balanced. I’ve got to check my intentions, man.”

Chappelle remained mostly out of the spotlight ever since taking this hiatus.

But he hosted SNL for its first show after Donald Trump was elected President, striking the perfect balance of seriousness, comedy and insight and pretty much announcing his comeback in the process.

Now, thanks to his deal with Netflix, he’s likely on his way back to making up for a lot of the $ 50 million he left on the table over a decade ago.

Farrah Abraham: New Reality Show Coming to Netflix???

Really, Netflix? Is it true?

We here at THG are seriously questioning whether the streaming service would do such a thing, but a certain controversial reality star is promoting a sure-to-be controversial reality show starring herself on Netflix.

It’s Farrah Abraham.

The Teen Mom OG personality and amateur porn actress appears to be announcing a new show called Farrah & Chill on her Instagram.

Farrah captioned the image simply “#Netflix #Farrah&chill.”

Of course, it’s missing the Netflix logo and the branding looks entirely off, so it’s possible Farrah just had this created of her own volition.

Fans also weren’t clear if this show has actually been greenlighted.

“Is this for real?” asked many followers.

Response to the idea of a Farrah reality show were a mixed bag.

Some hated the idea: “I’d rather stab my eyes out.”

While some loved it: “I legit cannot wait to watch this. Talk about entertainment.”

Still others loved and hated it simultaneously: “Ew that’s disgusting. But I kinda wanna see her doing porn.”

Indeed, many assumed that since Farrah was in it, the series would be pornographic in nature.

“I’m going too cancel my membership if this is real! Porn on Netflix…smh!” wrote one user.

We couldn’t find news of “Farrah & Chill” anywhere, so it’s possible the mom of one is using this as a tactic to pitch Netflix – or she’s just trying to create publicity for herself.

Like when she called Blac Chyna a “monkey” on Instagram in an obvious attempt to get press.

Luckily, Chyna never responded and the story died quickly, but another controversy soon arose, shockingly not initiated by Farrah herself.

Earlier this week, a Jonathan Lee Riches claimed that he was the true father of Farrah’s daughter Sophia. But that’s not the best part.

He also revealed that he impregnated the star when she was a minor at the behest of his mentor, Josh Duggar.

There’s no doubt a reality show about Farrah would be entertaining, but for the sake of this country’s integrity, we hope it never comes to fruition.

John Stamos Plays John Stamos, Only on Netflix

Netflix has been Stamos"d, and one has a feeling the masses won"t have a problem with it.

The streaming service and John Stamos pulled an April Fool"s prank on us, those silly geese.

"A VERY exciting new original documentary unlike any other," Netflix tweeted today.  John Stamos: A Human, Being comes to Netflix April 31

(spoiler alert – there is no April 31st).

Clad in a black turtleneck and sitting confidently in a director"s chair, Stamos explained how his feature came to be.

"I guess it was the fall of 2015 when things looked to be going a little south for those guys at Netflix.  My friend (fellow Greek-American) Ted Sarandos, the head of content, came to me and he said, "John.  You my friend, you have built more than a life for yourself.  You have built a brand.

""Please let us use your beloved brand to take Netflix to that next level.""

The image on Netflix"s social media acount features a backshot of Stamos against a spotlight, with the caption: "Lights, Camera, Stamos."

Members of Netflix have the pleasure of selecting categories such as:

– Popular Like John Stamos Was in High School

– Trending Now Like John Stamos

Fuller House: Renewed by Netflix!

Have mercy?

More like… thanks, we’ll have another!

Netflix announced via Twitter today that it has picked up Fuller House for a second season.

Just a few days after this sitcom spinoff hit the streaming service, the company took to the show’s official social media account to wrote the following:

“You list will get even fuller,” the verified Fuller House page wrote alongside a short and sweet video featuring Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber.

It added: “Season 2. Coming soon to @Netflix. #FullerHouse.”

Fuller House kicked off on Friday, February 26 with a Tanner family reunion.

This gave fans of the original series a glimpse at such veteran stars as John Stamos, Bob Saget and Lori Loughlin.

Picking up two decades after the events of Full House‘s series finale, though, the crux of Fuller House centers on DJ (now a widowed mother of three) and Stephanie (now a jet-setting deejay with no children or roots of any kind) moving back into their childhood home.

They are joined there by Best Friend Forever Kimmy Gibbler, who now works as a party planner.

Throughout the opening season, original cast members made cameos as these three women navigated their new lives as “sister wives” (hey, that was their term!) and D.J. began dating once again.

Are you excited for Season 2 of Fuller House?

Netflix Teases House of Cards Via Fake Campaign Ad

On Tuesday night, Donald Trump once again went at it with his fellow Republican nominees for President of the United States.

But it was an actual President of the United States who stole the show at CNN"s GOP debate.

Okay, not an actual President of the United States. But a fictional President of the United States.

During a debate commercial break, Netflix revealed the streaming date for House of Cards Season 4, which, of course, features Kevin Spacey as Frank Underwood.

"It’s a new day in America," the promo began, going on to tour Underwood as President on this award-winning drama:

"Today, more people will go to work, return home to their families and sleep more soundly than ever before.

"All because one man refuses to settle, putting people before politics.

"That man is Frank Underwood."

Underwood then goes ahead and approves this message.

Underwood’s fictional policy appears to be “getting things done,” as he’s launched a website called FU2016.com, which is up and running right now, as we type.

“These are my mottos. I have no patience for useless things – like political gridlock and stagnation," reads the website.

"And neither should you. Join me. Let’s roll up our sleeves together. Let’s plow through the stubborn and smallminded and send Washington a message loud and clear."

We"re on board! Frank Underwood forever!

Oh, and House of Cards Season 4 returns with new episodes on March 4, 2016.

Blac Chyna Gets Naked, Netflix & Chills With Amber Rose

A few weeks ago, Amber Rose hosted a “slut walk” event that was supposed to be attended by all of her closest friends, several of whom were scheduled to take the stage.

Blac Chyna was conspicuously absent from the proceedings, and shortly thereafter, it was announced that Amber and Blac’s reality show had been shelved, which of course led to rumors of a feud. We guess that’s all over with now:

That’s Amber and Blac preparing to do…we’re not quite sure what in a bathroom together.

There’s a lot to unpack here, including the fact that Blac is naked and Amber’s phone case appears to be shaped like a bottle of Windex.

That might seem like an odd thing to notice when naked Blac Chyna is standing right there, but trust us  – we’ve spent a long time studying this photo.

We could probably sketch it from memory at this point.

Anyway, Blac and Amber are clearly besties again, which is great, because Blac really use some gal pal support these days.

It seems, Blac is dating Future, but the rapper is still openly banging other chicks.

Blac says she knows the score and she’s cool with it, which doesn’t quite mesh with the the fact that she recently got Future’s name tattooed on her hand.

Amber captioned that pic “Netflix & chill with Blac Chyna??? Yes please!” and we know that’s a phrase the kids use these days when they’re talking about gettin’ it in (Do people still say that?), but we think a night of actually just watching Netflix and chilling with her BFF is exactly what Amber needs right now.

Gilmore Girls to Be Revived as Limited Netflix Series (!!!!!!!)

It really is happening, people.

We really will learn what those final four words were.

Netflix has confirmed that it has finalized a deal with Warner Bros., creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and executive producer Daniel Palladino to bring back Gilmore Girls for a special limited series event.

No original cast members have signed on the dotted line just yet, but sources tell TV Line that key players Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Kelly Bishop and Scott Patterson are almost assuredly on board.

The revival will reportedly consist of four 90-minute episodes/mini-movies/whatever-you-want-to-call-them-but-the-point-is-that-Gilmore-Girls-is-on-the-way-back.

Over the summer, Sherman-Palladino certainly sounded open to an arrangement such as this at the ATX TV Festival.

“It would have to be the right everything – the right format, the right timing,” she said. “If it ever happened, I promise we’ll do it correctly.

We believe you, Amy.

And we can’t believe we’re going to get the chance to find out for real!

Gilmore Girls premiered on The WB network in 2000, before transferring to The CW in 2006 for its final season.

As you can see below, we consider it to be the best series in the history of this network.

NOTE: Looking to watch Gilmore Girls online prior to this shocking return? Follow the preceding link to do so via TV Fanatic.
