Katie Holmes Shares Throwback Picture of Suri Cruise: See It Here!

Katie Holmes has always kept her daughter, Suri Cruise out of the public eye, but she’s been surprisingly more open about her of late. 

It’s definitely a good idea when you consider how many young stars have very public meltdowns in their later years. 

Katie took to Instagram on Thursday to show off a picture of her 10-year-old daughter as a toddler with a cute caption. 

The cute picture above was accompanied by the following caption: “#tbt my sweet angel.”

It sure was a throwback, and a welcome one at that. 

With all of the questions about when Tom last saw his daughter, maybe the throwback picture will help him realize how much of her life he has missed. 

Katie married Tom in 2006, but their marriage came to a conclusion in 2012, with there being no solid answer given for the parting of ways. 

That’s not to say there was not a lot of rumors swirling about what happened. When a celebrity couple is dubbed “TomKat” by fans, you can bet your bottom dollar that there will be a lot of media attention when they break up. 

Katie shocked the world when she uploaded a picture of Suri in November because nobody knew what she looked like because of the media blackout that surrounded her. 

You can see that picture below. 

“Strong little girls that will become strong women. Let’s keep fighting to make it a better world for our children,” Holmes wrote at the time. 

Like we said earlier, it is a wise idea to keep the young ones away from the cameras. Katie is obviously a doting mother who cares very much about her welfare. 

Even Katie keeps quiet about her own personal life. Sometimes, it’s best to let the world speculate, and that sure seems like what Katie wants to do. 

Either that, or she does not want her ex-husband to know what the heck she gets up to.

Halle Berry Shares Rare Picture of Son: What a Cutie!

Halle Berry may not have starred in a hit movie in many years, but the actress is quickly becoming quite a big hit on the Internet.

To close the month of March, for example, Berry treated her 1.3 million Instagram followers to a gorgeous photo of herself without a bra on.

“Me when someone says ‘I’m coming over and I’ve got snacks,"” Berry wrote as a caption to the photo down below, eliciting quite a few VERY positive reactions online.

“Um @halleberry…I’m coming over and I’ve got snacks? #TheNewAllStateMantra,” wrote Questlove, for instance.

Late last week, meanwhile, Berry made headlines for a social media snapshot of a very different kind.

The former Oscar winner gave fans a rare glimpse at son Maceo Martinez, who was enjoying a positively radiant glimpse of the deep blue ocean himself.

“When you find a pair of pj’s that rock your world,” the 50-years old star captioned the sweet image of the three-year-old dressed in rumpled white pajamas, peering out through a window.

The peaceful picture was snapped from behind and does not show the boy’s face.

Berry has always been extra careful to protect her kids from the limelight. She knows how dangerous fame can be for children.

On the rare occasion that she does share photos of little Maceo or her nine-year-old daughter, Nahla Aubry, she makes sure to obscure their eyes, noses and mouth.

We admire Berry for this strategy.

But some idiots out there have actually criticized her for it.

Last October, the actress clapped back at an Instagram troll who somehow took issue with Berry for cropping her kids’ faces out of a photo.

“I’ve noticed you have said this several times now so let me be clear – I’m not at all ashamed of my children,” Berry was forced to write, adding:

“I try to find creative ways to incorporate them into my feed because they are the biggest part of my life, but I also work very hard to keep their identities as private as I can considering they are only children.”

Despite this being an obvious and admirable point of view, Berry continued.

She concluded her reply to this online moron as follows:

“It’s my belief, and I’m not criticizing others who have different beliefs, that it’s my job as their mother to protect their privacy as best I can.

“When they grow and they’re of age and they want to share their images on the internet, that will be for them to decide, not me. Feel me? Have a beautiful day.”

Berry shares young Maceo with ex-husband Olivier Martinez and Nahla with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry.

She was also previously married to former Major League Baseball outfielder David Justice and singer Eric Benet.

Indeed, Berry hasn’t had the best of luck when it comes to men.

But she has had the best of luck when it comes to her looks (see slideshow, above) and when it comes to producing precious children.

Those are pretty important things, too.

Mariah Carey and Bryan Tanaka KISS in PDA-Filled Picture

Mariah Carey and Bryan Tanaka are still going strong… at least according to the singer’s latest Instagram post. 

The 46-year-old singer uploaded a photo of herself and her cute boy to the social media site on Tuesday. 

It’s clear the pair are not concerned with PDA. 

Have a look at the picture below.

There’s no denying that they make a great couple, but the picture is not the issue here. 

“No one knows what it means, but it’s provocative … it gets the people going!”

Mariah seems to think people will be so excited over the “provocative” picture, but it’s pretty much the norm these days that couples would take to social media to show off their love. 

It’s sickening to some, but that’s what happens. 

The very notion that Mariah thinks the picture will have her fans clamoring for more is pretty ludicrous. 

Hey, she’s got to find a way to put the New Year’s Eve fiasco behind her, but this is not the right way to go about it. 

If you watch Mariah’s World online, the chances are that you already got to lay eyes on the couple getting up close and personal, so this is nothing new. 

Mariah started dating Tanaka in late 2016 after her engagement to James Packer came to a grinding halt. 

Packer’s appearances in the E! reality series were heavily edited, so we never got to see much of their relationship play out. 

It was all about Mariah and Bryan. To be fair, they did make for great TV, and the show successfully showed the singing sensation in a new light. 

It’s just a shame that Mariah’s problematic New Year’s Eve performance is going to hang over her career like a dark cloud for some time. 

Mariah’s performance was marred by technical difficulties, which found the star claiming that she was set up.

Celebrities got involved, with the likes of Jenny McCarthy pointing out that Mariah’s voice is not what it once was and that’s part of the reason why she never sang without the backing track. 

Either way, we’re sure Mariah can take solace knowing she has Bryan Tanaka to kiss all over Instagram to show off how AMAZING her life is.

Steve Harvey Responds to Best Picture Flub: I"ve Been There, Folks!

Steve Harvey suddenly has something significant in common with Warren Beatty.

But it has nothing to do with the massive number of women with whom Beatty has had sex.

Instead, it’s the embarrassment of making an epically famous mistake on a national awards show stage.

In December of 2015, Harvey concluded the Miss Universe Pageant by announcing Miss Colombia as the winner.

The only problem at the time? Miss Colombia was not actually the winner.

That honor actually belonged to Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach of the Philippines, a gross error that Harvey was forced to come out and admit minutes after misinforming the audience initially.

It was quite the snafu, although it didn’t do much harm to Harvey’s career.

Considering he was invited back to host the same beauty pageant a year later.

On Sunday night, meanwhile, Warren Beatty was at the center of the greatest gaffe in Academy Awards history.

Due to an envelope mix-up that really was not his fault, the legendary actor helped tell the world that La La Land had won Best Picture for 2017.

Except it hadn’t.

Moonlight had won Best Picture for 2017.

Oscars 2017 Best Picture: There’s Been a Mistake!

Soon after the proper victor was crowned, host Jimmy Kimmel tried to lighten the tense mood, quipping on stage:

“Guys, this is very unfortunate what happened. Personally, I blame Steve Harvey for this.”

It was a pretty good line, but it also gave Harvey a chance to milk the situation for as much attention as he possibly could.

“Good morning everybody! Went to sleep early last night. So…what I miss? #Oscars,” the comedian Tweeted this morning, prior to using the mistake as a PR opportunity.

“Tune in to @SteveHarveyFM at 8 AM ET today for my response to last night’s #Oscars . YOU KNOW I have something to say,” he added.

On his radio show, Harvey proceeded to wax at length about the Oscars flub.

“I know all about this. I know more than anyone else in the world about this,” said the 60-year-old. “I am the creator of these moments. The epicurean of this.”

Harvey went on reference a number reactions made on social media to the televised mistake.

“Because Warren made a mistake, does he have to die?” Harvey joked. “Should he lose his life? Y’all wanna kill him? Well he needs security because of this.”

Prior to the cast and crew from Moonlight accepting the Best Picture prize, Beatty jumped back on the microphone and explained what happened, saying he was confused the second he opened the envelope because it read “Emma Stone, La La Land.”

Since this snafu took place, PricewaterhouseCoopers, the auditing firm that tallies the Oscars votes, issued an apology and took responsibility.

“Me and Warren handled it great. It’s me and Warren’s thing,” added Harvey.

“We handled it great. At least the producers of the Oscars walked out with him… and they corrected the mistake on the night.”

Concluded Harvey on his show:

“Warren I know your pain!”

“I can help Warren get through this. I’m [going to] show him how to handle it with dignity and grace. Thank God for producers who stand with their talent. Unlike waiting the next day to handle it with the press, as it was suggested in my ear…

“I can help Warren get through this. Call me Warren, baby.”

Oscars 2017 Best Picture: The Winner Is... Incorrect?

Well… that was awkward.

The climactic moment of the 2017 Academy Awards proved to be both anti-climactic and rather historic, although not for the reasons many expected.

No, La La Land did not set the record for most Oscars won in a single year. Nor did it even win the trophy for Best Picture.

But presented Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway DID initially call out La La Land as the winner of last night"s most prestigious honor, prompting that movie"s cast and crew to go out on stage and accept the award.

Except there was a mistake. Beatty had been given the wrong envelope.

After Jimmy Kimmel, Beatty and an Oscars representative came out to whishper in his ear about what happened, La La Land producer Jordan Horowitz took to the microphone and said:

"Guys, I"m sorry. There"s a mistake. Moonlight, you guys won Best Picture. This is not a joke. I"m afraid they read the wrong thing."

It was understandably confusing. We needed to see a close-up of the actual envelope to actually believe that Moonlight was the Best Picture champion.

"Guys. This is very unfortunate, what happened," Kimmel told the crowd, joking, "Personally, I blame Steve Harvey for this."

Said auditing firm PricewaterhouseCoopers in a statement:

“We sincerely apologize to Moonlight, La La Land, Warren Beatty, Faye Dunaway, and Oscar viewers for the error that was made during the award announcement for Best Picture,” it read.

“The presenters had mistakenly been given the wrong category envelope and when discovered, was immediately corrected. We are currently investigating how this could have happened, and deeply regret that this occurred.”

What a bizarre occurrence. What a huge upset!

Niall Horan SLAMS Fan Who Took Picture Of Him

Niall Horan is not impressed with a fan who decided to take pictures of him while he slept on a plane. 

The One Direction singer previously made it clear to the fan that he didn’t want to take pictures. 

Add in the fact that Niall was sick, you can understand why he would want to just rest and have the flight be over. 

How would you feel if someone took a picture of you while you were sleeping?

The fan crossed a line. 

Everyone is entitled to privacy. 

Horan is super popular, so he must get picture requests every single day of his life. 

All he wanted was to take a break, but one fan took it upon herself to take a picture anyway. 

She then hit social media boasting about her time in Europe and the fact that she met Niall on her plane. 

She wrote, “And to sum up the PERFECT European adventure, I sat directly next to Niall from One Direction for 9 hours on my flight home from London last night.”

“He was sick and asked for no selfies, but here is a pic I snapped while he was sleeping lol he was so friendly!”

“Talked about Ireland LSE, lolla, and more. Not a British duke… But an Irish Popstar will do. thanks for treating me so well Europe!”

Niall was quick to speak out after the fan posted the picture. 

“I think this sh*t is unreal. I mean if you can’t sleep on a plane without people taking photos of you, what can u do?”

It’s not very often that celebrities blast fans like this, but it’s clear that this was only the first of many similar instances for the One Direction star.
