Jersey Shore Recap: Ohhh! Bloody Hell!

Buckle up, readers!

Because on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation last night, one cast members was unbuckled from his seat in the car and prepared to exit…

… when his girlfriend and baby mama sped away and dragged this individual down the road for a long period of time, resulting in a few ugly wounds and an arrest for the violent perpetrator.

Have you figured out the two people involved yet?

They were Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Jen Harley.

Shocking, right?

Following several episodes in which the reality stars went back and forth in vicious fashion – including one confrontation that ended with Jen spitting in Ronnie’s face – this relationship hit it physical and emotional climax on Thursday evening’s installment.

It all started after everyone except Ronnie and Jen headed back to New Jersey.

“I’m a little concerned about leaving Ron,” said a prescient Vinny Guadagnino at one point early on, adding of Ronnie and his custody battle with Jen:

“We did our best setting him up with the tools that he needed to succeed. He has a lawyer now, so he has a good support system around him. We can just hope for the best.”

Alas, the worst transpired.

jen/ronnie

As previously detailed on The Hollywood Gossip, Jen was arrested back on June 24 and charged with domestic battery.

According to various reports, she and Ronnie got into an argument in the car on the way home from a barbecue.

Just as Ronnie was attempting to exit the passenger seat and extricate himself from the situation… Harley reportedly stepped on the gas and actually dragged him down the road for at least several feet.

(The couple’s infant daughter, naturally, was in the backseat at the time.)

Harley was booked on a charge of domestic battery at the time — and here is her mug shot:

The actual footage of this incident was unavailable, of course.

We never saw any of it play out.

But we did see the reaction of the Jersey Shore cast to this crazy situation.

“The relationship is toxic,” Vinny said. “It’s insane staying in it.”

“Homeboy is destroyed right now,” JWOWW said. “He texted me yesterday [saying] he’s at urgent care.”

“Literally, flesh was coming out of his arm. It was not okay,” said Snooki, while Deena added that Ronnie’s face was “all f-cked up.”

Once the cast members reunited at the house in Jersey, Ronnie FaceTimed in from Las Vegas with his arm in a sling.

He was scheduled to spend time with them back East, but all agreed that he was probably best served to just chill by himself and focus on his own effed up life for awhile.

“He just needs to sit this one out, work on himself,” Vinny said. “Hopefully, this was a huge wake-up call for him and he can just figure it out on his own.”

“I love, love, love Ron,” Jenni added. “It’s just like, one of those crazy cousins or brothers or sisters that you have that you wish just made better life choices.”

Tragically, however, it doesn’t appear as if Ronnie took any of this advice.

Despite the arrest… despite the arm in a sling… despite the lost flesh… he and Harley are back together.

Altogether now: SIGH.

Grey"s Anatomy Recap: Who Got Fired?

Alex Karev is the interim Chief of Grey Sloan Memorial, and he’s messing everything up.

Thursday’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy chronicled the manchild’s first day on the job, and it did not bode well for his future at the hospital.

Allow us to explain…

Alex was on a high with his promotion and set out to approve just about everything anyone asked of him. The most ridiculous thing he approved was a 3D printer that allowed Link to change the color of prosthetic limbs.

While $ 500 per colored prosthetic sounds semi-reasonable, the hospital needed the 3D printer that would cost $ 65,000 to order in.

By the end of the day, Alex was in a tense standoff with Bailey who wanted to know why he was approving everything on his first day.

That’s when Alex showed his cards, revealing the biggest blunder of his entire career. According to him, he was still below budget for the month.

After Bailey looked at his figures, it became glaringly obvious he was looking at the figures for the quarter and not the month.

Alex had spent the hospital’s budget for the entire quarter.

Yikes.

But Alex did make a good decision. Who would have thought it?

Vik, who blackmailed Bailey and the hospital to get his job back at the end of last season, finally got his comeuppance.

He failed to recognize that a man with a nosebleed was about to die.

“I need an attending!” he yelled upon realizing he messed up.

The patient died in the operating room, and Vik refused to take responsibility.

I’m just an intern,” Vik cried. “This isn’t on me.”

He didn’t want to call the time of death, so he rushed off into a room with Nico showing off his abs to Levi.

Alex followed Vik and decided to fire him on the spot. He had it coming, you guys!

The medical mystery on Thursday’s installment revolved around a school teacher who fell asleep while operating a saw.

It resulted in multiple students being rushed into the O.R., and Webber took action when Levi said there was a high alcohol level in the blood.

“The more sober he gets,” Richard said, “the worse he’s going to feel.”

The teacher was against the notion that he got drunk in the classroom, and Webber seemed to think the man was trying his best to deflect the situation.

Alex ultimately had to remove Webber from the room … maybe because there was a lawsuit on the horizon if he was wrong.

However, Webber persisted and brought some vodka to the man as he was recovering. The next thing we knew, the man was supposedly drunk again.

Thankfully, Webber did not give the man the drink and confirmed he had a rare condition that meant the sugar in his body would make him drunk.

Crisis averted then, right?

Elsewhere, Maggie was trying to set Amelia up with anybody she could, presumably to soften the blow of Teddy’s pregnancy when it is revealed.

Amelia took notice of it and asked her to stop because she was no longer on the market.

Okay then.

What Maggie failed to realize was that she might be back on the market. Jackson sent an email into the hospital taking a leave of absence.

This was news to Maggie who was visibly annoyed. Jackson was having a crisis of faith, but he could at least let her know what was going on with him.

The Voice Recap: Who Won Night 4 of the Blind Auditions?

After Monday’s Blind Auditions brought some of the worst auditions yet our way, five more people advanced to the next stage of the competition on Tuesday.

But were these five more worthy than the bunch that made the first episode of the week such a big drag?

Let’s break down Tuesday’s performances!

Reagan Strange (Team Adam) – “Meant to Be”

This 13-year-old appeared on the stage and shocked everyone. With her mature attitude and dizzying vocals, she emerged as quite the contender.

As seems to be the norm on this NBC hit, first performance nerves can cause some problems, and that’s what happened here.

In the end, she joined Team Adam, and her future in the process will hinge on whether she can battle the nerves and whether Adam chooses the right songs for her.

Foushée (Team Adam) – “Redbone”

Foushée appeared on stage and had all of the makings of a global sensation. Being the daughter of a drummer, she knew what she had to do to secure a place post-audition.

That’s why she made her way to Team Adam. It would have been fun to see what Kelly did with her, but Adam might be the next best thing.

Chris Kroeze (Team Blake) – “Pride and Joy”

Chris shocked both the audience and the coaches. Adam thought he was a woman because nobody expected such a sweet voice from a man who looks like a country rocker.

That said, being put in Blake’s team might prove to be the biggest mistake, because Blake is going to throw every country song at him to see what sticks.

MaKenzie Thomas (Team Jennifer), “Big White Room”

Makenzie returned after not getting anywhere during Season 14. Her aim here was to get the chairs turning because her nerves got the best of her the last time.

There was a great voice there, but a lot of work is required to make sure the teenager does not sound as pitchy as she did during the audition.

Thankfully, she’s on Team Jennifer, and we could not think of a better place for her!

SandyRedd (Team Kelly), “River”

This 35-year-old mother of two brought her A-game Tuesday night. With vocals that people can only dream of, the coaches rewarded her with a four-chair turn.

It was the biggest surprise of the night because the spots on each team are starting to look hella full, but SandyRedd was worth it.

In fact, she was so worth it that Jennifer Hudson threw both of her shoes at her. Is it a big compliment? We hope so.

In the end, she opted to go with Team Kelly.

Dancing with the Stars Recap: Who Went Home?

The dancers went from New York City to Las Vegas Tuesday night as Dancing With the Stars turned up the heat and had all of the competitors perform a second routine in one week.

Yes, the stakes were higher than ever before!

But who managed to stay in the game, and who was given the boot following another awkward dance?

Let’s break down the performances, and the results, shall we?

Juan Pablo Di Pace and Cheryl Burke

Juan and Cheryl danced the Foxtrot to “Why Don’t You Do Right?” by Peggy Lee. It was a sultry performance that continued to keep them in good standing with the judges.

The minor niggle came from Len, and it was all about Juan’s frame, but who the heck cars when you can dance as well as Juan does?

Judges’ Score: 26/30

Milo Manheim and Witney Carson

“Put on your heels, the sky’s the limit,” said Celine Dion ahead of the duo dancing the Tango to “Ashes.”

Milo and Witney took that quite literally because they went all out with their latest number, and the judges were even shocked by it.

Judges’ Score: 26/30

Danelle Umstead and Artem Chigvintsev

Danelle and Artem went with the Quickstep to “Luck Be a Lady,” and it highlighted what could go wrong for Danelle.

Her disease rendered her blind, so she was scared of the Quickstep because it was a high energy and high stakes routine.

While the other couples are improving every performance, it seems these two have already peaked.

Judges’ Score: 19/30

Alexis Ren and Alan Bersten

Despite being the surprise success of the season, Alexis was blindsided by how demanding this routine actually was, and she left Alan in rehearsals.

Their Tuesday performance that included the Salsa to “Booty” by Jennifer Lopez took a hit as a result, but it was still solid when compared to some of the others.

Judges’ Score: 24/30

John Schneider and Emma Slater

John has struggled since the season premiere because he’s rather wooden. His Jive to “King Creole” by Elvis Presley was not all that.

He has a lot of energy but he struggles actually to put that into the performance, and that’s what could ultimately cost him his place in the competition.

Judges’ Score: 20/30

DeMarcus Ware and Lindsay Arnold

After building up a lot of momentum with their first two performances, that all slowed down with the Quickstep dance to “Ladies Man” by Boyz II Men.

There was something really off with this performance, and it could be down to the height of DeMarcus. They look mismatched as a result.

Judges’ Score: 23/30

Joe Amabile and Jenna Johnson

Joe may be improving, but there’s still a lot wrong with his dance moves. He lacks the skill, and Jenna wants to try and drum into him the fact that they’re skating around the bottom of the leaderboard.

The Jazz to “The Gambler” by Kenny Rogers highlighted the fact that these two might be ready to dance out of the ballroom.

Judges’ Score: 18/30

Evanna Lynch and Keo Motsepe

Evanna and Keo are going from strength-to-strength and their high energy Jive to “Heat Wave” by Martha Reeves & The Vandellas was excellent.

Judges’ Score: 24/30

Bobby Bones and Sharna Burgess

It turns out, there is such a thing as too much energy in the ballroom! The judges were not all that enthused by the Quickstep Bobby, and Sharna went with to “That Old Black Magic” by Sammy Davis Jr.

Could their exit be on the horizon?

Judges’ Score: 19/20

Nancy McKeon and Val Chmerkovskiy

Nancy is another middle of the pack performer who seems to have fizzled out early on. Her Paso Doble to “Storm from KA” by Cirque du Soleil was not her best dance yet.

She needs to adapt quickly if she wants to remain in the competition.

Judges’ Score: 20/30

Tinashe and Brandon Armstrong

Tinasha has already performed with Britney Spears, so it was unsurprising that she went with “Circus” by the Queen of Pop.

Tinashe and Brandon have the chemistry sorted, so that was a huge positive. They could actually win, you guys!

Judges’ Score: 26/30

Mary Lou Retton and Sasha Farber

Mary Lou continued to build on her early success with the Samba to “Copacabana” by Barry Manilow. It was a rock-solid performance that proved she was willing to take risks.

The judges were happy with it so that reflected in the scores.

Judges’ Score: 24/30

At the end of the night, it was Danelle and Artem and John and Emma that were in danger. Danelle and Artem were sent packing.

It’s surprising Grocery Store Joe gets to dance again, but he could be leaving in the next week or two.

The Voice Recap: Are These the Worst Auditions Ever?!

After some genuinely surprising performances last week, the action slowed down Monday night, and we got to meet a group of middle of the pack performers.

But where did they end up?

Let’s break down the performances, shall we?

Dave Fenley (Team Blake) – “Help Me Hold On”

This 39-year-old Texan native was such a hoot that he got Kelly and Blake advocating to be associated with him.

His Travis Tritt cover was solid, but his confidence and personality are what really set him apart from the others.

Blake seems like the likely candidate to give this one time to shine. His voice matches what Blake generally goes for, so there’s that.

Audri Bartholomew (Team Jennifer) – “Never Enough”

It was only a matter of time before The Greatest Showman songs did the singing competition circuit, but we wish Audri was better.

Her vocals are most certainly there, but there were some moments that made it seem like her microphone had some interference.

She got one chair turn, and that was from Jennifer, but could this be a sign that she’s not the best performer?

Um, yes.

Rachel Messer (Team Blake) – “I Wanna Be a Cowboy’s Sweetheart”

This small-town girl made her way to L.A. with the aim of making it big. The 19-year-old hit the stage with a song that was perfectly suited to her voice.

She has the vocal ability, but she needs the star quality and confidence to match it.

Chevel Shepherd (Team Kelly) –  “If I Die Young”

Chevel was another one who probably shouldn’t have made it through. Her vocals were all over the shop, to the point it seemed like she actually wasn’t going to get a turn.

Being on Team Kelly, there’s a chance she could switch things up. But if first impressions are everything, then this was not a good start.

Delaney Silvernell (Team Kelly) – “In My Blood”

Was Monday night the sub-par Blind Auditions, or what? Delaney had a heartwarming story, and she seemed destined for stardom.

There was nothing remotely memorable about her, and that’s problematic on a show that focuses on viewer votes in addition to judging critiques.

Anthony Arya (Team Adam), “Danny’s Song”

Anthony struggled a lot with the vocal side of things, but the coaches collectively agreed that he looked like someone who would have a big following.

Adam seemed to find something to like about the voice since he opted to take him on board. Was it a mistake?

Time will tell.

Natasia Greycloud (Team Jennifer) – “I’m Not the Only One”

Natasia was quick to point out that she had been inspired by Kelly, but that didn’t mean she was going on her idol’s team.

In the end, she wound up on Team Jennifer, and that was probably for the best. She was a fantastic performer, but the true test will be whether the song choices will match her voice.

Teen Mom OG Recap: Welcome to the Dysfunctional Family!

They are officially on board.

Teen Mom OG kicked off Season 8 on Monday, October 1 with an intense 90-minute episode that introduced a pair of new faces to the franchse:

  1. Bristol Palin, the daughter of former Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

  2. Cheyenne Floyd, a former cast member on MTV"s The Challenge who has a daughter with another Season 8 addition, Cory Wharton.

What were this pair up to on the opening installment?

We learned just how complicated of a relationship Floyd and Wharton find themselves in, while we also got a pretty good idea of why Bristol and Dakota Meyer recent filed for divorce.

Scroll down for a recap of all the events from an interesting and emotional Season 8 premiere…

1. Her Life Isn’t Perfect

Bristol arrives

This was a message Bristol said she wanted to send, although it’s not clear why anyone would think that a 27-year woman with three kids by two men – with a famously polarizing mother – would be living a perfect life. Regardless, the premiere gave us a look look at the difficulties in her marriage.

2. Yup, It’s Sarah Palin

Yup its sarah palin

We’re just saying. The woman who came close to being the second most powerful person on Earth made a cameo early in the premiere.

3. Worlds Apart

Bristol and dakota

While Bristol and Meyer live together in Austin, Bristol was off in Arizona with her mom celebrating her sister Piper’s bachelorette party to opem the premiere, while Dakota took the kids to see his parents in Kentucky. Palin told the camera that her husband’s PTSD has been “hard on our marriage.”

4. PTSD?

Ptsd

Yes. Meyer received the Medal of Honor after 2009’s Battle of Ganjgal, where he witnessed the deaths of his entire team. He’s been battling those demons and scars ever since.

5. What are Things Like for This Veteran?

Bristol palin with dakota meyer

Speaking with his dad and the show’s producers, Meyer talked about joining the Marines. “When I joined, it was 110% that you will be going to war soon,” he said on air. “Joining, I could have never knew what I was getting into. You can say, ‘Yeah, I’m ready to get shot at,’ but you’re talking at a 17 year old kid.”

6. More from Dakota:

More from dakota

“We got in a big gunfight and everybody with me is dead,” he continued. “When I first came home, train wreck is not even, that’s an understatement. Anxiety got me real bad.” Meyer added that his children are the “reason I get up every day,” saying they “add to the quality of life, they’re everything.”

90 Day Fiance Recap: You"re an Alcoholic!

An Uber was used to take one couple to a certain destination on 90 Day Fiancé: Before 90 Days this week.

But a fight between this same couple in this same car left us unsure just where their future was headed.

Allow us to explain…

On the latest installment of this oddly popular reality show, Jesse traveled to New York because he thought it was time to end things with Darcey… for good.

However, the latter was optimistic about meeting her man and thought he was only coming to America in the name of eternal love and happiness.

“The way this relationship has been going, I don’t know exactly why he’s here. I just hope it’s to work things out,” Darcey said. “He wouldn’t come all this way if he didn’t truly love me.”

What an adorable and unfortunate way to look at things, right?

Once the two got in a the aforementioned Uber to head to the hotel, though, hell broke loose; chaos reigned; and accusations flew.

The reality stars started yelling at one another because Jesse discovered that Darcey was arrested for hitting her sister and never told him.

He also added that she needed to “get therapy for (her) alcoholism,” prompting Darcey to storm out of the car.

“You don’t love me. You never did, you liar,” she screamed. “Get out of my life.”

Elsewhere on this explosive episode:

Rachel and her child headed to Great Britain to be with Jon before their wedding day.

What should have been a glorious occasion, however, turned sour after she learned that Jon was corresponding with one of his exes over social media and voiced her very understandable concerns.

Evidently, Jon told his former girlfriend that he had loved her in the past, which is what really hurt Rachel the most.

Makes sense, right?

“It was like I was stabbed with a knife, and when I saw the world ‘love,’ the knife twisted,” she said sadly.

Jon tried to clear things up by explaining he was telling his ex about his great relationship and needed to apologize for breaking her heart. But this didn’t smooth things over much.

“I am ashamed of the person I was,” Jon said.

As for the other couples? A quick rundown:

– Angela gave Michael an engagement ring AND an American flag — and he reciprocated! It was a double proposal!

“It’s the best day of my life,” Michael said. “Donald Trump, I’m coming to see you.”

– Ximena was willing to forgive Ricky for coming to Columbia for another woman, as long as he leaped into a freezing cold lake.

“For Ricky to regain my trust if he wants, he will have to show me,” she said.

Ricky obeyed, the crew rushed in to help him — and then he proposed and she accepted!

– Karine decided NOT to divorce Paul so they could raise their kid in a loving home, leaving Paul very excited, yet also a tad bit nervous about being a dad.

Tragically, Karine then learned she had suffered a miscarriage.

“I was praying for him to be OK but it wasn’t like that,” she said. “It was unexpected for me to find out he wasn’t OK.”

– Finally, despite family members not approving of their romane, Tarik and Hazel pushed on.

“I definitely love you and I don’t care what anybody says,” the former said.

On the final day, the pair reconciled and Tarik proposed to Hazel by playing her a rap he wrote about her. A very awkward silence followed.

“She took a long time,” he said, and then turned to Hazel. “Why did you take so long?”

90 Day Fiance: Before 90 Days airs Sundays on TLC at 8/7c.

Grey"s Anatomy Recap: Meredith is Sleeping With WHO?

Meredith Grey has been at the center of the drama on Grey’s Anatomy since it debuted, but if one thing was clear on the premiere of Grey’s Anatomy Season 15, it’s that she’s yearning for love.

The closest semblance of a relationship since Derek’s death was Nathan, but with the love of his life returning from the dead, well her relationship fell apart.

During Thursday’s season premiere, Meredith was having wild dreams about her getting hot and heavy with none other than DeLuca, Jackson, and Koracick.

There was even a guest appearance from the new Ortho God in said dreams, but it was clearer than ever that Meredith needed some loving.

A woman who fell asleep at the wheel and knocked a young girl off her bike wanted to play the hospital matchmaker, and Meredith was not having it.

The surgeon wasn’t quite ready for a relationship despite her wild dreams saying otherwise. What we did learn is that she shared a kiss with DeLuca at the wedding, so there’s that.

Despite all of the drama with her sex life, Meredith wanted to keep Jo and Alex in Seattle, so she was happy to try and get Bailey to take on Jo’s idea to keep the newlyweds around the hospital.

Bailey declined, but later changed her focus following her plan to take a “stress sabbatical” from Grey Sloan Memorial.

Jo got what she wanted, and Alex was made interim Chief. This was surprising when you consider that Teddy was supposed to be getting the job.

But Teddy changed her mind when she realized that Owen and Amelia were getting closer and that they likely had a kid.

Teddy had to tell Maggie everything because she was worried her unborn child was in danger. Maggie helped her, and she was sent on her way.

Amelia started to worry when she realized Teddy was back on the scene and set out to find a way to express her feelings.

After a cautionary tale from Koracick about how he let his wife go and regretted it, she plucked up the courage to say her feelings out loud.

It all resulted in Owen reciprocating them, but they were not out of the woods. Amelia worried that this big life change could kick her off the wagon.

They decided to take things slow.

Jackson wondered about faith following what happened with April, and because DeLuca had saved he and Maggie from the car at the top of the installment.

However, Maggie later realized he had PTSD and it was only further fueled when he failed to save the cyclist.

He and Maggie chatted about the future and they were in a good place.

And Meredith went back to the matchmaker who didn’t want the donor heart when she learned that the kid from the accident died.

Meredith asked for assistance in finding a man, thus, giving the old woman a reason to live. Talk about the season of feels!

There was also a new relationship on the horizon: The show’s first gay male surgeon, Nico showed up, and he had an instant connection with Levi.

But Levi had no idea what was going on. This could be interesting!

Okay then.

What did you think of the episode?

Sound off below.

Grey’s Anatomy continues Thursday on ABC.

Jersey Shore Recap: A Bromance for the Ages

Jersey Shore: Family has been all about relationships on Season 2.

We’ve watched as Ronnie and Jen Harley have screamed and yelled at each other, with fists and saliva occasionally flying back and forth between the parents of poor little Ariana.

Jersey Shore Family Vacation

We’ve also been present when JWOWW filed to divorce Roger Matthews and when she had a major falling out with the other love in her life, Snooki.

But all this focus on affection and romance still didn’t prepare us for Thursday night’s finale…

… on which Pauly D and Vinnie got married!

Yes, MARRIED!

For real! Sort of!

Last week, of course, the men sent the ladies off to the airport under the assumption they were right behind them. But they lied. And stayed behind to fit in one more “guys night,” making the absolute most of their testosterone-fueled time together.

In a manner of speaking.

At one point early on, Pauly D popped the question of a lifetime to Vinny Guadagnino, making a mockey of the entire concept of marriage and asking for his hand in this blessed union.

He said yes, and the two headed to a local chapel to make their bromance nice and legal.

Mike and Ronnie attended Pauly and Vin’s brommitment ceremony, with The Situation holding the cake and, naturally, eating most of it while the vows were exchanged.

From there, Pauly placed a gold band on Vinny’s finger, although the new husband wasn’t thrilled over the rather plain looking ring.

“The guy is covered in diamonds,” he told the camera. “Like, you could’ve given me a little bit of ice. C’mon!”

This was their first fight as newlyweds.

Of course, the real point of this supposed wedding was to given the fellas a reason to party on The Strip one final time.

And to say things such as this, courtesy of The Situation:

“Right now, it is madness. I feel like I’m in The Matrix right now, dodging all the thotties.”

“I feel like I’m at one of Pauly’s gigs,” added Ronnie. “This whole cabana is DTF!”

And Vinnie: “They say it’s the thought that counts, but right now, I’m counting thots.”

On a more serious note, meanwhile, Ronnie chose to stock his house with all-new baby supplies for his infant daughter, following a heated altercation with her mom. Yet again.

“With everything being so crazy with Jen and the baby, I think that me and Jen need to work on ourselves separately,” he explained, adding:

“I’m just in the mindset of not really thinking about me and Jen, I’m just thinking about the baby.

“Jen just moved into the other house and she has all the baby stuff, and I want Ariana to have everything that she needs, the basics.”

Enlisting the assistance of his male pals, Ronne proceeded to go on a major diaper and car seat run.

“I’m very proud of Ron,” said Mike. “He’s taking steps to address some of the life situations that he’s facing. He’s really going through it. His life is, unfortunately, similar to a dumpster fire.”

Is Ronnie really a changed man?

Does he really have a renewed focus on his job as a parent?

We’ll see on Season 3 of Family Vacation, as well as on the Internet over the next few months.

But it sounds promising so far.

“I could sit around and be miserable and mopey, but what does that solve?” he said at one point, concluding:

“All that’s doing is breaking me down more and killing me inside when I’m supposed to be becoming a better person and a better father for my daughter…

“When I do get Ariana and she starts spending time with me, I want her to have everything that she needs.”

How to Get Away with Murder Recap: Who"s Dead Now?!

Does How to Get Away with Murder know what viewers want?

It certainly seemed that way on How to Get Away with Murder Season 5 Episode 1 which gave birth to a whole new mystery that is poised to find another key player getting, well, murdered.

The murder in question takes place at Connor and Oliver’s wedding, and based on the slap Annalise hurls at Frank upon hearing about the unlucky player bleeding out on the snow, she’s pissed about it.

Before we got much in the way of answers, this series went back to the beginning of the school year.

A brand new year at Middleton University got underway, but there was a striking difference from the previous year:

Annalise Keating was back, and in good graces with the faculty.

Did you really think her Class Action lawsuit against the justice system was going to result in her retiring?

Um, no. Annalise returned… with new wigs, and the same old attitude.

Celebrating her return to the school, she admitted off the bat that there would be a brand new clinic and that the surviving original members were not guaranteed a spot.

That meant, Asher, Connor, Michaela, and Laurel aka the core four who have been associated a little too heavily with all the previous murders would have to impress her if they wanted to remain part of her team.

Frank wanted to be part of the class, but he was relegated to the waitlist. Is he really wanting to be part of this class to find out more about the elusive Gabriel Maddox?

It sure seemed that way, but anything is possible with this show. Speaking of Frank, he was getting a little too comfortable with Laurel staying at his.

It led to them having lots of sex. Frank was all too happy to throw his clothes off at any given moment, but there was heartbreak in store for him.

Laurel decided it was best to move out before things got too serious. That’s when Frank got down on one knee and actually proposed to her.

Did Laurel accept this offer to be with a man who murders when the going gets tough?

Nope. She dumped him and moved in with Connor, Michaela and Oliver, so there’s that.

The only silver lining in all of this was that he got to be Cristopher’s godfather. It seems Laurel is not quite ready for a relationship, you guys.

In the meantime, Frank wanted to know what Gabriel Maddox was up to and whether he was this kid who was supposed to be dead.

Thankfully, Frank was on hand to pull some strings. Even when this dude is away from Annalise, he still manages to find himself in crazy situations.

He learned that Gabriel was the kid, but we never learned whether he was the child of Annalise or the child of Bonnie.

This show certainly knows how to keep viewers wanting more.

Annalise made her decision about the clinic and left Asher out in the cold.

The reason?

She’s tired of hearing about him pining after Michaela. In her eyes, he needs to grow up and stop acting so god damn childish.

Simply put, Annalise had a lot on her mind. She needed to find the right law firm to support her clinic.

That meant fielding a lot of offers that would rake in a lot of $ . Just when it seemed like she was ready to get what she wanted, she was dropped like a hot potato from every firm.

Taking on the justice system came back to bite her in a huge way.

That’s when she returned to Caplan & Gold with a brand new offer. When they declined, she stormed out of the building.

But she later got a call saying she should return to sign on the dotted line. Annalise has still got it, it seems.

The final scene featured the biggest bombshell of the night:

The person bleeding out on the snow was right next to baby Christopher.

Could it be Laurel?!

Would the show really kill off Laurel?

We’ll need to tune in this fall to find out!

American Horror Story Recap: Who Survived the Outpost 3 Bloodbath?

American Horror Story: Apocalypse got off to one of the best starts in franchise history, but it all fell apart with a weak second episode.

American Horror Story Season 8 Episode 3 picked up the pace with Michael trying to establish who would be making their way to the elusive Sanctuary.

During a conversation with Mallory, she opened up about feeling like there’s something inside of her trying to claw its way out.

That’s when she unleashed some sort of power that could have brought a fiery end to Michael if he was a human.

What this revealed was that Mallory could be a witch and that Michael was scared of her. He quickly got to work to plead for answers to the person who controls him.

Things got downright weird when we learned that Miriam was having memories of raising a young blonde boy, but she had no idea why.

Desperate for a place in this safe haven, Miriam and Venable made a plan to kill everyone in Outpost 3 meaning they would absolutely have to go to this new place.

Their plan picked up steam when a bunch of flawless apples was delivered by The Cooperative, and the duo got to work in putting snake venom into them.

Unbeknownst to the pair, Coco’s ex actually survived the end of the world and was hiding under the carriage.

He later murdered one of their henchmen to make his way inside to find Coco to get revenge on her.

In a surprising twist, Brock murdered Coco at a Halloween party while posing as Michael.

Venable’s plan worked, and everyone else died as a result of the poisonous apple, but not all of them stayed dead.

Venable and Miriam went on a mission to take down Michael for good, but we learned that Miriam was actually crafted as Constance Langdon, and he gave her the memories she was looking for.

Miriam/Constance then turned the gun on Venable, ending her reign of terror once and for all.

Downstairs, Cordelia, Myrtle, and Madison appeared and saved Coco, Mallory, and Dinah from a certain death.

Oh yes, the witches are back, and it seems like there are more of them than ever, you guys.

“Surprise bitch, bet you thought you’d seen the last of me,” Madison said to Mallory, confirming they had a history.

What the heck is going on?

So. Many. Twists.

And we have to wait another week to find out how all of this is going to play out.

Big Brother Recap: Who Won Season 20?

Big Brother brought the jurors together one final time to crown a winner Wednesday night, but did the right person win?

There was one last blindside, a surprise engagement and one final “I’m Julie Chen Moonves,” and it all resulted in one of the best finales for this veteran CBS reality series yet.

When the episode got underway, the first part of the final HOH played out, but Tyler was battling with whether to follow through on his plan to throw this part.

BB Final 3

When JC fell to the ground, it was time for Tyler to do his thing. However, he decided against it in that final moment, and Kaycee fell next.

“This is the #1 biggest dream of my entire life,” Tyler explained of his decision to viewers, confirming there was no mistake.

He worried that Kaycee was going to take it personally and that it would come back to bite him. Kaycee was annoyed but knew she needed to keep it together for part two.

She and JC went to battle for the second heat of the competition, and Kaycee secured the win. That meant she got to face Tyler in part three.

Would she go back on her word if she won?

We then caught up with the jurors who had the typical meeting with Dr. Will to decide who was worthy of winning the game.

Angela joined them and quickly got to work to expose Kaycee as a rider of Tyler’s coattails, and that she only won when she needed to.

“Are you saying this because you’re secretly in a showmance with Tyler?” Bayliegh wondered, lapping up the role of the bitter juror because she ruined her own game.

Then the unthinkable happened:

Rockstar seemed to think that JC was a deserving finalist because he got so far with his manipulation skills. Be that as it may, he failed to win all but one competition.

While there was a lot of back and forth, the editing made it seem like there was a case for all three to win. That’s pretty laughable, but whatever.

The final HOH competition came to a close with Kaycee narrowly beating Tyler in the battle to recall memorable events from the season.

Kaycee then got to choose whether to take Tyler of JC out of the running. To the surprise of nobody, she stuck with her ride-or-die despite his lie earlier.

After JC’s unsurprising elimination, the jury got to ask questions about the gameplay of the finalists. Tyler had a way with his words and managed to get everyone nodding.

Kaycee floundered, and it seemed like all hope was lost for her.

Before we learned who won, Julie wanted to find out which showmances were going to be a thing on the outside.

Haleigh and Fessy, and Tyler and Angela are a go, but Swaggy and Bayliegh opted to take their romance to the next level.

Swaggy clung to his final minute of fame by proposing to Bayliegh, the girl who he spent 23 days with inside a house.

Bayliegh accepted the proposal.

How did the final vote pan out?

Here are the results:

JC votes for Tyler

Angela votes for Tyler

Sam votes for Kaycee

Brett votes for Tyler

Haleigh votes for Tyler

Scottie votes for Kaycee

Faysal votes for Kaycee

Rockstar votes for Kaycee

Bayleigh votes for Kaycee

There were tears, cheers and more tears as Kaycee won by a vote of 5-4.

But who won America’s Favorite Player?

That honor went to… Tyler!

The Voice Recap: Who Won Night 2 of the Blind Auditions?

The Voice returned Monday with a brand new twist, and some of the best vocalists in the show’s fifteen season history.

Did Tuesday’s episode manage to keep up the pace?

Well, there were some excellent performances and some terrible ones.

Let’s break down the latest string of contestants making their way to the next round.

Keith Paluso (Team Blake) – “Way Down We Go”

This Kaleo classic is not an easy song to perform by any stretch of the imagination, but 30-year-old park ranger, Keith, made it his own.

There wasn’t a bad thing to say about the performance. It was flawless and put a new spin on this song that has been used a little too much for emotional scenes on drama series.

Team Blake should be good to Keith if the song choices are right for him.

Claire DeJean (Team Kelly) – “Hurt Somebody”

Meh. That’s about all there is to say about this performance. Clair is 17-years-old and teaches acting and dance.

Her vocals were bland, and there was nothing to really distinguish her from some of the other performers who did not make the cut.

Kelly took her on, but we think this is going to wind up being a big mistake.

Franc West (Team Jennifer) – “(Sittin’ On) The Dock of the Bay”

This was another sub-par performance. This 38-year-old took up singing while he was in the Navy, but he didn’t have the wow factor you expect from the people who advance to the next stage.

Being on Jennifer’s team, there’s every reason to believe she will do her best to find the right genre of music for him.

If she does not, he won’t make it very far.

Michael Lee (Team Blake) – “The Thrill Is Gone”

Michael flew through his performance. It was so fast-paced that it made the judges wonder what the heck was going on.

But there was a solid voice in there, and one that could be nurtured by spending some time on Team Blake.

Thankfully, he made his way to Mr. Shelton’s country crooner club.

DeAndre Nico (Team Adam) –  “When I Was Your Man”

This NBC reality series usually saves the best for last, and DeAndre’s Bruno Mars cover found him with a four-chair turn.

With vocals that reached dizzying heights, we think it’s fair to say that DeAndre performed better than Mars himself. He was THAT good.

Before his performance, we learned that he was hit hard by Hurricane Harvey.

Okay, what did you think of Night 2 of the Blind Auditions? Did the right ones make it through to the next stage?
