Dancing with the Stars Recap: Who Got Booted First?

When ABC scheduled four hours of Dancing with the Stars for premiere week, many thought that meant four hours of dancing.

However, Tuesday night’s installment consisted of just five performances.

The reason?

ABC opted to plug Dancing with the Stars: Juniors by announcing with kids would be appearing on the upcoming spin-off.

Yes, the network is actually pressing on with a spin-off despite the parent series slumping almost 40 percent in the rating year-to-year.

But which couples actually had to dance again for a nice dose of safety?

Mary Lou Retton and Sasha Farber, Danelle Umstead and Artem Chigvintsev, Nikki Glaser and Gleb Savchenko, Alexis Ren and Alan Bersten, and Nancy McKeon and Val Chmerkovskiy.

No, your eyes are not deceiving you here:

Joe “Grocery Store Joe” Amabile and Jenna Johnson managed to evade the danger zone despite their paltry 14/30 score on Monday.

It turns out, viewers voting at home are buying into that smile the former The Bachelorette contestant seems to be donning in every single scene.

It’s frustrating because this is supposed to be a dancing competition, not a popularity one.

In any case, let’s break down those five performances and find out who got the boot from Season 27 first.

Mary Lou Retton and pro Sasha Farber (Cha-Cha)

Mary Lou built on her success from Monday night with a performance that was more polished, and very pleasing to the eye.

The audience lapped it up, and the improvement was reflected in the score.

Judges’ Score: 21/30

Danelle Umstead and pro Artem Chigvintsev (Foxtrot)

This Tuesday night performance from Danelle was much of the same. There was nothing much different from her previous night’s performance, and that could come back to bite her down the line.

Judges’ Score: 18/30

Nikki Glaser and pro Gleb Savchenko (Salsa)

Nikki was very rusty on Monday night, but she was much more at ease during her second performance of the season.

With fast-paced moves, it really elevated her to a new level, but was it too late?

Judges’ Score: 18/30

Alexis Ren and pro Alan Bersten (Jive)

Despite being part of the most random cast ever, Alexis Ren continues to impress. With a flexible body, she owned the ballroom on Tuesday night, and she has a lot left to give.

Judges’ Score: 23/30

Nancy McKeon and pro Val Chmerkovskiy (Quickstep)

Like most of the others, Nancy opted to switch things up in order to prove that she could adapt to the feedback from the judges.

With a perfectly rehearsed routine, she moved up the ranks.

Judges’ Score: 21/30

The audience was given just five minutes to vote for their favorite routines before it was revealed which couple was first out of the battle for the mirrorball trophy.

The unlucky couple was… Nikki and Gleb. It was a real shame because they were the most improved couple night-to-night.

“I hope that I just proved that I did the scariest thing I’ve ever done, and I tried my best,” Glaser said following her elimination. “It was so fun. Thank you for having me.”

What are your thoughts on the first big goodbye?

Big Brother Recap: The Surprise Eviction Divides the House

It was the end of the line for one houseguest on Wednesday’s special eviction episode of Big Brother.

The host once again introduced herself as “Julie Chen Moonves,” meaning she’s brushing off all of the controversy she stirred up on Thursday night.

When the episode kicked off, the houseguests looked genuinely blindsided when they were told eviction night was coming one night early.

“One should always expect the unexpected,” said Julie, who was clearly surprised the houseguests were not shocked.

We then got to learn about what happened over the past few days, and Sam was pissed to be put on the block for the fourth time.

“These people don’t want to hurt me,” she says. “They just want the money.”

While that made sense, Sam was adamant she wanted to win the “motherf—— veto.” Sam felt safe … for now.

In her mind, Tyler was going to keep her safe until final two, so she felt like JC would be the one heading out the door during the surprise episode.

Kaycee, Angela, and Tyler watched JC from the HOH room, and they could see that he was visibly defeated.

He was alone following Brett’s eviction and feels like he has no fight left in him.

JC used this to his advantage when he chatted with Tyler about being on the block.

“I need to remind you I’m your friend, not your pawn,” JC said, adding:

“If you win the veto and you pull me off, [Angela] has to put Kaycee.”

But this only further turned Tyler against him because he felt like JC was putting him in an impossible spot.

At the veto competition, Kaycee continued her winning streak, and Tyler continued to worry even after she decided against using the power.

“Dammit, I hate this game sometimes, man,” Tyler said to viewers. “I gotta do what I gotta do to win, but that means I have to backstab some of the best people.”

At the eviction, Sam was sent packing with a vote of 2-0, and she was surprised.

Upon exiting, she stayed classy and asked someone to deal with her belongings. In her chat with Julie, she never threw anyone under the bus, but she looked mad as hell.

Kaycee, Tyler, and JC competed in the “What The Bleep?” competition and it played out as follows:

  • Round 1: JC & Tyler get a point

  • Round 2: JC gets a point

  • Round 3: No one gets a point

  • Round 4: Everyone gets a point

  • Round 5: Everyone gets a point

  • Round 6: JC & Tyler get a point

  • Round 7: JC & Tyler get a point

Oh yes, JC actually won a competition! Given that Tyler has been the one not keeping his word, it would make sense for him to be the target.

However, there’s still a veto to play. Will Kaycee win ANOTHER veto?

Who will go home?

We don’t have long to wait to find out because another episode airs tonight at 9/8c on CBS.

American Horror Story Recap: Where Are the Witches?!

The latest installment of American Horror Story: Apocalypse was heavy on the rubber, but light on the witches.

We kicked things off with Michael Langdon parading around Outpost 3 with hair that looks very similar to his mother, Vivien’s.

He wasted no time in asserting his power in the lair, and Venable was livid. If you watch American Horror Story online, you know that Venable had a lot of rules about sleeping arrangements.

Primarily, she did not want anyone in the Outpost sleeping with each other. For those at home yelling about how it won’t be possible to repopulate the Earth, we hear you.

Timothy and Emily decided they wanted to have fun, and by that, they wanted to sleep with each other. It’s the end of the world, so why not?

They weren’t buying what Venable was selling about abstinence, so they broke into Michael’s room and found a conveniently placed laptop.

There, they found emails between Michael and The Cooperative. That’s when they found out that Venable was lying about not having sexual contact.

Venable was furious when the two teenagers went forward and had sex with each other. Venable ordered their deaths, but Timothy and Ash fought back.

Miriam wound up shot, but there was something amiss with her flesh. Is she even a real person?

As for Michael, he had a lot of sexual chemistry with Mr. Gallant, so much so that it seemed he was dressing up as the Rubber Man from Murder House and having sex with him.

But Michael was adamant he was not the one dressing up, and that he should try to find out the truth on his own.

Evie, Mr. Gallant’s mother, witnessed the sex between him and the Rubber Man and took the news to Miriam and Venable.

The pair tried to whip him to get the answers, but they realized when they looked down that he was getting off on the pain.

In a truly stunning shock, the Rubber Man showed up again, but Mr. Gallant opted to stab him because he was done with the mind games.

That’s when we learned that Evie had been body-swapped and was dead at the hands of her grandson. Well, at least she won’t be ratting on him any longer.

Elsewhere, Michael confronted Venable for lying to everyone about the rules, but Venable was not ready to back down.

She said that she was sent the rules, and she was following them. However, she did not have a copy of them at hand for Michael to cast his eye on.

Michael said that he was the one who sent the rules, calling her bluff. Oh, yes, there’s a power struggle between these two, and we’re all in for it.

While the episode had a lot of action, the preview for it claimed the witches would make their entrance into Outpost 3.

That did not happen, and the only excuse for that is that FX was trying to stop the typical week two drop the franchise has been known for.

What are your thoughts on this installment?

Counting On Recap: Jinger Duggar Learns She"s Having a Girl!

Counting On suffers from the same problem as so many reality shows nowadays, in that its stars are so famous and so popular on social media that it’s very easy to stay up to speed with what’s going on in their lives.

Some have argued that these circumstances render reality TV obsolete, but Counting On remains as popular as ever, and last night’s episode provided some potent reminders of why that is.

The installment served up major developments on different fronts, as the two most rebellious Duggar siblings each prepared for the next stage in their life.

Back in July, Jinger Duggar welcomed her first child, a girl named Felicity.

But at the time that Monday’s episode was filmed, the young couple was still clueless as to the baby’s sex.

“There was a lot of anticipation waiting to find out the gender,” Jinger told the cameras of prior to her doctor’s appointment.

“Who’s the baby going to look like? We were both so thrilled.”

Jeremy — clearly overwhelmed by seeing an image of his daughter for — struggled to put the profound moment into words.

“That’s incredible,” he said at one point.

“This was my first time ever being in an ultrasound, and the fact it’s my child was astonishing,” Vuolo later added.

“I was almost at a loss for words.”

Despite some initial misgivings, Jeremy and Jinger opted to find out the baby’s gender as early as possible, and lucky for us, the emotional moment was caught on camera.

“We opted not to be surprised so maybe we could have more time to reflect on the name, and maybe down the road we may choose to be surprised,” Vuolo said.

“When the technician told us what we were having, we were both overjoyed,” Jinger told the cameras.

“We just could not believe it.”

Just a few months later Felicity Nicole Vuolo entered the world at 8lbs. and 3oz.

And so far, fans have continued to share in every moment of her young life.

Of course, Jinger and Jeremy weren’t the only ones gearing up for a life-changing moment on last night’s show.

Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson got married in June, and on Monday’s Counting On, fans got a peek at the preparations as Lauren attempted to find the perfect dress for the occasion.

The Duggars and their fundamentalist community are typically very big on gender roles, but Lauren broke with tradition by bringing her dad along on her dress-shopping excursion.

“Before Josiah came into the picture, my dad was my very best friend,” Lauren told the cameras.

“He was someone I always would talk to about anything if anything was wrong, and I really value my dad’s opinion.”

Of course, there are downsides to shopping with the guy who’s footing the bill:

“I really wanted him to be part of it. My dad will probably be more concerned about the price, just knowing my dad,” Lauren said.

“He’s very frugal. I don’t necessarily like to pick the expensive things. I don’t tend, to but that happens.”

Clearly, Lauren’s not as conservative as the Duggars — so it’s a good thing that she found happiness with the most non-traditional of the Counting On clan.

Floribama Shore Recap: The Stalker Returns

Just when the cast of Floribama Shore gets it together, something happens that drives them further apart.

The latest installment of this MTV hit picked up mere moments after Jeremiah learned of his grandfather’s death.

There were tears, fights and more tears, and we’re going to unpack all of the big developments from the episode right here.

Everyone rallied around Jeremiah to make sure that he felt at ease, and Candace said a prayer for him and his family before he exited the house to be with his family.

Before his exit, however, he wanted to hit the bar with his roomies and have a drink to celebrate his grandfather’s life.

Everyone made their way to The Salted Goat. Yes, that’s actually the name of the bar. It’s ridiculous, but the cast is probably barred from every other fine establishment in Florida, so they had to make do.

While most of the houseguests were upset, and drinking slowly, Nilsa partied a little too hard when she laid eyes on her ex-husband’s friend.

It resulted in her running backward and forward to the bar to get some shots. It did not go unnoticed by the others, who were under the impression this was a quiet family night.

Things got worse when a man appeared at the table asking about the cast. Kirk and Codi were happy to answer questions, but Nilsa was rude as hell.

“Bye, bitch,” she yelled while waving her hand at the man.

She continued to be rude, and the man ultimately left the situation red-faced.

Back at the house, Nilsa flat-out refused that she was rude to anyone, and even asked the following:

“What bar?”

This further irked her friends because they were only in one bar the whole night. Nilsa denied that she was drunk, and got especially mad when her BFF Aimee did not defend her.

Aimee was right not to defend her. Nilsa was in the wrong and all the others wanted was for her to own it, and they could move on.

But Nilsa called her friend, Shayla, and got ready to leave the house. The only thing that kept her there was a hug from Kortni (of all people!).

Nilsa still played dumb the next morning, but Aimee said she was not ready to forgive her because the man was friendly, and that it’s no way to treat a nice person.

Jeremiah made his exit, but Kortni put a letter in with his packed lunch for the road. She told him that she would always be there for him.

That was enough to confuse Jeremiah because he knows there’s a burgeoning romance there, but he needs to decide whether he wants to leave the one night stands behind and get in a relationship.

In a real shocker, Codi and Jeremiah managed to put their feud aside. As you will recall if you watch Floribama Shore online, Codi’s grandfather died last year, so they bonded over that.

It’s amazing, but these two were so against each other earlier in the summer, but if they manage to put it aside, something good will come of it.

The ladies went away on an all-female trip, leaving Kirk, Codi and Gus to do their own thing.

The boys went to a bar and Gus opened up about his issues growing up. He recalled the time he found his mother sleeping with another man, and it paved the way for his father to leave with another woman.

It was heartbreaking, but the biggest shocker was saved for the final scenes:

Logans Fairbanks aka Kortni’s stalker left flowers, a letter and images on the doorstep of the house at 3 am.

How will Kortni react to her stalker’s return?

We’ll find out next Monday at 10/9c.

The Real Housewives of Orange County Recap: Vicki Gunvalson Flips Out

Vicki Gunvalson and Kelly Dodd’s friendship might never be the same again.

Monday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County picked up in the aftermath of the fight that found new housewife, Emily Simpson, threatening to kill Kelly.

But Vicki wanted to know how her boyfriend, Steve Lodge, wound up being put on blast. If you watch The Real Housewives of Orange County online, you know that Kelly was livid to learn that Steve was friends with her ex-husband.

For Kelly, it was like a betrayal, and it was made worse that her then-BFF Vicki failed to see the issue with all of it.

Gunvalson unpacked what went down with Tamra Judge and Emily.

“Kelly thinks Steve’s mad at her, and I don’t know what’s going on,” Gunvalson solemnly said to her friends. “And now, Steve doesn’t want anything to do with her.”

“Shane neither,” said Simpson as though anybody cared whether her pot stirrer husband would be friends with the newest cougar in Orange County, adding “he doesn’t have time for it.”

In all honesty, Shane was the one who butted in when Dodd was trying to get the answers from Steve, so if anything, he should be apologizing to Kelly for trying to sink her storyline to get one of his own.

Emily then went on to say that she was wrong about the way she reacted to Kelly.

“I probably shouldn’t have said, ‘I’m going to kill you, but obviously it’s a figure of speech,” she said, trying to defend her actions.

“[Kelly] said the entire time, ‘I just wanna go talk to Steve and fix it,"” added Tamra of the whole scenario.

“She doesn’t give a rat’s a— about Steve, and I guarantee you she wants to see our relationship fold because she doesn’t want anyone happy,” Gunvalson balked, adding:

“Miserable people like miserable people. I was there.”

That’s when Tamra opted to light the fuse on the dynamite and secure her contract with the show for another season.

“She said that Steve is only with you for your money,” she said while acting like it was not going to cause another war between the housewives.

“I thought it appropriate to tell Vicki about what’s being said because the worst thing in this group is a rumor going to another person, another person, another person and not the person who’s directly involved,” Tamra said in defense of her actions.

“Of course Kelly says that!” Gunvalson screamed as she stopping chopping vegetables.

“Shame on her for talking about my relationship. It’s bulls— that everybody’s always after what I have! Leave me alone! And by the way, I don’t have that much money.”

For what it’s worth, we did get to see Kelly and Tamra have that conversation earlier in the episode.

“Do you think that guy is hitting it and quitting it?” Kelly asked, of Steve to Tamra.

“My friend was dating the girl that Steve was dating. He told the girlfriend that he’s only using Vicki for money. Swear to God. Dinero! Money talks and bulls— walks.”

“In my book, Steve’s a bad guy,” she added. “He’s hiding something. And everyone should know what kind of a person he is.”

While Tamra was trying to imply she was being nice to Vicki by telling her about the earlier comments, there was also footage that suggested she, too, was not taken in by Steve.

“She doesn’t love him,” Judge said during a group dinner sans Gunvalson. “I’m sorry, she does not love that man.”

Never one to come to a party without some proof, she reminded the ladies of Shannon’s matchmaker.

“When I was talking with the matchmaker with her, she was like ‘Maybe I should go to him too?’” Judge recalled.

While everyone seemed to be against Gunvalson’s relationship, it was all playing out swimmingly for the cameras.

“You better not let me down,” she told Lodge as they celebrated her birthday.

“I feel great at 56. It’s been a bumpy couple last three years, but now that Steve’s in my life, I finally feel like I’m at peace.”

“I don’t need a man for money, and he doesn’t need me for money,” she continued. “I don’t care about stuff. I care about the person.“

“I would date a trash collector if that’s who I fell in love with.”

Lodge seemed to agree. “I think in her mind she feels, ‘I’m successful I don’t need another man’s money, so I’m going to fall in love not because he has money,’ ” he said. “Unlike some other people we know.”

That last little bit of word salad was very likely a jab at Kelly.

Oh yes, it’s on.

Big Brother Recap: Who"s in Danger?

Brett is out, but who’s next?

The stakes are at an all-time high as Level Six is very close to having the remaining three members make up the final three of Big Brother Season 20.

JC knew he was close to eviction after Angela and Tyler took Brett out of the game during the double eviction. He knew there was something amiss, and also that Tyler was not to be trusted.

We quickly learned that Brett met up with Tyler during the double and Tyler played along with the plan to get either Angela or Kaycee out of the house.

That explained why Brett was so blindsided to be put on the block, to the point that he couldn’t say much during his final plea for safety.

For JC, he got scared during the double that he was going to be taken out, but Tyler was adamant that JC should trust him.

As we know, it worked, but that’s not stopping JC from wondering how long he has left in the game.

Sam also did some damage control for her hurtful comments towards Angela, presumably because Angela was still in the game and was in good standing with Tyler.

While Angela accepted, she said in the diary room that “this bitch is going to send your ass home.” Wouldn’t it be hilarious if Sam won the HOH, and actually sent Angela home?

That would be a blindside that would sway the jury in Sam’s favor in the finale.

When Tyler tried to quell JC’s fears, it was obvious JC was mad.

“I didn’t know you were working that close to the girls,” he yelled, but Tyler was adamant the girls would be targeting Sam for eviction.

When all is said and done, Angela secured another competition win, and it was her third HOH win of the summer.

Angela was open and honest about who she was targeting: Sam. While JC is the bigger threat, it seems Angela wants Sam out of the equation in case Tyler takes Sam instead of her at the end.

However, Tyler worried that JC could be the one to flip the tables on him and got to work to get him made the target.

“I really need to start thinking about who I want to be sitting next to if I can get to the end,” he revealed to the diary room.

JC continued to self-destruct and yelled to Tyler that he should win the veto, save him, and naturally, Kaycee would be on the block.

With that, the houseguests were treated to a performance by Bebe Rexha, but it was obvious there was a lot of tension in the house.

Angela closed the episode by nominating JC and Sam, noting that she could not win against either of them because she has not played the most loyal game.

She has a point, despite the competition wins, she’s one of the most unlikable houseguests in the history of the series.

What do you think of all of this?

Jersey Shore Recap: "I Will F-ck You Up!"

Move over, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Jen Harley.

Two new combatants stepped into the figurative ring on Thursday night, as Jersey Shore: Family vacation featured yet another ugly confrontation between cast members.

A week after Angelina Pivarnick arrived in Las Vegas, due to an invitation by MTV producers Snooki, the tension between this former regular and Jenni “JWOWW” Farley reached record levels.

And it was largely because Angelina tried to make nice with JWOWW.

Well, it was really because Angelina referred to JWOWW as a “Jersey Whore” back in May, but Jenni warned her foe last night that if she just kept her distance, everything would be okay.

Angelina failed to heed this advice, however.

Jenni tried to simply steer clear of Angelina, who she said was “like a pet you don’t really want.”

When the group went down to the pool, for example, JWOWW refused to clink glasses with Angelina during a toast, thinking that ignoring her rival would basically make her go away.

But it had the opposite effect. It turned Angelina into an irritating pest.

“Why would she all of a sudden say cheers to me?” Jenni asked Nicole. “I’m just trying to f-cking enjoy my last couple of days. I’m a mom now. If I’m gonna be getting bullied and dumb shit, I’m out.”

It was clear that the situation was merely escalating with every passing moment.

At one point, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino warned Angelina to “proceed with caution” when it came to her relationship with Jenni (he should know… remember when she punched him?), but Angelina continued to do annoy JWOWW.

In a cab on the way to the club that evening, Snooki tried to get Angelina to apologize to Jenni for the whore comment.

But…

“You were acting like a f-cking whore,” she told JWOWW.

When Nicole reprimanded her for repeating the insult, Angelina replied:

“Not a whore like that, you ass! Like a freaking bitch. You were acting like a bitch!”

Jenni then tried to explain to Angelina that there was a difference between a “whore” and a “bitch,” but it fell on deaf ears.

“It’s obvious that Jenni still has resentment towards me, and I’m to blame a little bit, but I’m trying genuinely to be friends with her and maybe we can squash this eventually?” Angelina told the cameras, as she attempted to sit on Jenni’s lap and dance with her at the club.

Bad move there, Angelina.

“I just want to party and let loose and have fun, and she’s just not having it,” Angelina said. “I don’t know if my approach is wrong, but I’m trying.”

(Editor’s Note: We knew. Everyone there knew. You’re approach was definitely wrong.)

Continuing down the clearly wrong path, Angelina tried to drop some ice down Jenni’s shirt while at the club, a so-called prank that only served to anger the star.

“Don’t touch me!” Jenni boomed “You’re out of your damn mind! What is wrong with you? Stop. Stop, or I will f-ck you up!”

“I don’t know what Angelina’s thinking messing with Jenni,” Ronnie said hilariously, referring to Jenni’s husband and adding:

“Roger don’t even do that yet, and he’s been married to her for eight years!”

This was a lesson Angelina did not learn, however, which is how she ended up scuffling with JWOWW on the dance floor and getting caught in a headlock.

Angelina eventually squirmed her way out of Jenni’s grip and slapped her in the face with the back of her hand.

“Bring me home, or I’m gonna go to jail,” JWOWW said to The Situation, apparently convinced she broke the law.

Finally, to close out yet another violent and intense episode, Jenni told everyone at dinner the next night that she was going home early.

Big Brother Recap: Two Evictions Rock the House!

Julie Chen returned to CBS Thursday night, and got ready to evict two houseguests, but what did she say about Les Moonves?

Double eviction episodes of the reality series are generally the most dramatic, but the biggest source of drama came from the final few moments when the host paid a stunning tribute to her embattled husband, Les Moonves.

“I’m Julie Chen Moonves. Goodnight,” she said to audiences as the second evictee of the night sat next to her.

Julie does not typically say “Moonves” on the series, usually referring to herself simply as “Julie Chen,” so it was immediately evident it was a message of support for her husband, who was fired by the network earlier this week.

As for what went down in the world of Big Brother, let’s get to it.

Sam and Haleigh were still on the block to be evicted from the house. Everyone at home knew fine well that Haleigh was going out.

But how did the votes pan out?

Tyler votes to evict: Haleigh

JC votes to evict: Haleigh Brett votes to evict: Haleigh

Angela votes to evict: Haleigh

Haleigh was evicted!

We then moved on to the HOH competition. It was the booth-style one with the houseguests answering questions based on video clips shown to the house.

Round 1: Sam & Tyler get a point

Round 2: JC gets a point

Round 3: Tyler & Brett get a point

Round 4: JC, Sam, Tyler, & Brett get a point

Round 5: Sam, Tyler, Angela, & Brett get a point

Round 6: Everyone gets a point

Round 7: Sam, Tyler, & Angela get a point

Tyler won the HOH competition and immediately got to work to pick who he was evicting. He held one-on-one meetings and told Brett to throw the POV because he was going to make a big move.

He moved on to nominate Sam and JC for eviction. Neither was impressed, but Tyler had a much bigger plan to play.

Angela won the power of veto, and she immediately met the others one by one. Tyler told her to use the veto on JC and that he would nominate Brett to be sent home.

It’s not often a plan comes together in Big Brother, but it Angela, Tyler, and Kaycee got their wish and Brett was put on the block in JC’s place.

JC votes to evict: Brett

Kaycee votes to evict: Brett

Angela votes to evict: Brett

Brett was sent out of the door by a vote of 3-0!

He was blindsided but admitted to Julie that he respected that it was a game move. Now he has to go to the jury house and explain to Haleigh why Angela and Kaycee’s exit speeches threw him under the bus.

With less than two weeks left, Julie dished that there will be evictions on Wednesday and Thursday next week.

Bachelor in Paradise Recap: What the Actual F--k, Man??

Just prior to Fantasy Suite night on Bachelor in Paradise this season, at least one contestant faced her biggest nightmare.

But we’ll get to that in a moment.

Monday evening’s installment of this controversial ABC series depicted TWO couples calling it quits, although one split went far smoother than the second.

Let’s start with the amicable before we get to the ugly, shall we?

Joe and Kendall (pictured above) were seemingly in a good place when he joked about getting engaged.

At least we thought he was joking.

Perhaps there was a serious nature to the reference as well — but, either way, the mere topic caused Kendall to pump the breaks on their romance. Hard.

“There’s a part of me that obviously loves you, and I’ve known that for a while, but I don’t know what kind of love that is,” Kendall attempted to explain in response, adding that she thought thers sta were pursuing a relationship because they “had to,” not because they really wanted to.

Ouch.

“I’m with you all day long. I’ve been falling in love with you since day two. I haven’t been able to express it because all you’ve said is… ‘I want to keep things open,"” Joe replied, pointing to her past with Leo and John and adding:

“The truth is, you don’t know how you feel about me… you’re looking for so many excuses not to be with me.”

sad woman

And, with that, Joe was basically done.

“We’re just not in the same place. That’s what I’ve been scared about this entire time… The fact that you’re not happy about where we’re at after everything is really just the answer,” he continued.

“That’s it. I’m going home. Alright, I’m leaving. Bye.”

The guy was serious, too.

He got into a limo and, like Keyser Soze, was gone.

“I have a huge fear that I’m never going to see Joe again,” Kendall lamented on air. “My heart breaks imagining not being with him. I’m going to leave feeling regret.”

Remember, now… we said this was the AMICABLE break-up.

Elsewhere, Kevin also decided to end things with Astrid.

“I’m like, having an actual mental breakdown right now,” he confessed, aiming for sympathy and earning none whatsoever.

Kevin cried about how his former experiences with fantasy suites and how the evenings didn’t pan out as he’d hoped.

“I don’t know if it’s forever,” he said of his relationship with Astrid.

UMMMM…..

“Are you breaking up with me?” Astrid asked, bursting into tears and then turning angry:

“What the actual f-ck, man? I don’t eve know what to say. I’m mind-boggled… The one thing I asked you not to do was blindside me!”

Lik Joe before her, Astrid then left to pack her things, leaving Kevin a tear-filled on the daybed.

“She’s going to hate me,” he said. “She’s going to be embarrassed. This is a nightmare.”

Finally, Bachelorette alum Robby Hayes showed up!

He tried to ask out Jenna, only to be shot down and then told off by Jordan for making a move on his woman.

“From what I understand, he cheated on Amanda Stanton … after Paradise,” Jordan told his fellow contestants. “I mean, cheating on a single mom? C’mon.”

The man makes a solid point there.

“Robby’s a tool, he’s just a tool,” Jordan added to the cameras.

“He dated Amanda for the social media following and then he broke up with her in the way that he did to look like a player. Like, ‘Oh I don’t need Amanda in my life."”

Still, Shushanna agreed to go on a date with Robby and then confronted Hayes about the Stanton allegations prior to the rose ceremony.

He claimed he never cheated on Amanda…but did she on another ex in the past.

Shushanna ended up giving Hayes her rose during the final ceremony.

However, when the remaining couples were faced with either heading to the fantasy suites or going home, the new twosome chose to pick things up back in the United States.

“I don’t think in 48 hours that our relationship is there,” Hayes told Shushanna of having sexual intercourse. “But we’ll hang out when I’m in Utah. We can grab dinner, or I can take you on a date.”

Where will all the other relationships head to close out Season 5?

Find out when the finale of Bachelor in Paradise airs on ABC on Tuesday, September 11 at 8/7c.

Keeping Up with the Kardashians Recap: A Literal Family Feud

This season of Keeping Up with the Kardashians has featured one very prominent feud between family members.

Loyal viewers have watched as Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian have teamed up and tried to bring down Kourtney Kardashian due to her lack of committment to hanging with her siblings.

On Sunday night, however, a different kind of family feud broke out.

A literal family feud broke out.

Because these same siblings and their loved ones were featured on… you guessed it by now probably… FAMILY FEUD!

The game show!

All did not go smoothly leading up to this special appearance, however, as Kris Jenner discovered that the family’s opponent, Paris Hilton and her relatives, had dropped out just 24 hours prior to taping.

Talk about a major crisis!

Why not Kanye West and his family, Kim suggested quickly, almost as if this had been the scripted plan all along?

So it was then decided: Kanye, Kim and his cousins would take on Kris, Khloe Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and their cousin Cici Bussey.

Due to the uneven numbers, Jonathan Cheban was asked by Kim fly out from Miami at 4 a.m. to participate on Kris and Khloe’s squad.

There was just one problem wth this plan, Khloe pointed out:

“Love Jonathan and all but he’s not a Kardashian.”

Others agreed and, therefore, on the day of the taping, a suggestion was floating for Kris Jenner’s mom, Mary Jo, to take Jonathan’s spot on the show.

“Jonathan should not be on our team,” Khloe said, to which an annoyed Kim shot back:

“How do I break the news to Jonathan that he’s not gonna play, and he just got on a plane at the drop of a dime.”

(Editor’s Note: This may, literally, have been the biggest First World Problem of all-time.)

Could Cheban just go on Kim and Kanye’s team?

“Jonathan’s a big boy … I’m not going to kick one of my family [members] off TV,” the rapper replied. “It’s their first time on TV.”

“Jonathan gets on TV all the time.”

To conclude this enthralling debate, host Steve Harvey stepped in said producers could put Kris and MJ on the same mic and have an uneven number of teammates.

Upon losing against her own family, Kim directed the blame right at Kanye’s cousins, saying:

“Kanye’s cousins sunk it for us, not gonna lie.”

Elsewhere, Kourtney and Scott Disick went at it.

HARD.

The former was angry about the latter introducing his young girlfriend, Sofia Richie, to the ex-couple’s three children.

“So last night we got home, the kids were there. So, of course, they met my girlfriend,” Scott told her simply.

Kris then appeared to take Scott’s side.

“I don’t understand why she can introduce her boyfriend to the kids but you can’t introduce your girlfriend,” she told him.

The latest disagreement between these exes featured Scott accusing Kourtney of being “overly controlling.”

This is a word she REALLY hates being used against her. The mother of three defended herself as follows:

“We have rules. Kids need rules. It’s not hard.”

In a confessional, Kourtney added that being controlling or not has nothing to do with the situation.

“He gets everyone on his side and tries to play the victim,” she explained.

In the end, Scott did apologize for not giving Kourtney a heads up about the meeting between Mason, Reign, Penelope and Sofia.

As a result, the episode’s second feud came to a rather quiet conclusion.
