Scheana Marie and Mike Shay: It"s Over!
If you watched the premiere of Vanderpump Rules Season 5 on Monday night, you may have noticed that someone was missing, and sadly, that person was not James Kennedy.
Despite the fact that he’s played a larger role in the show these past two seasons, Scheana Marie’s husband, Mike Shay, did not appear in the episode.
It was more than a little odd, as much of the episode took place not at SUR, but at an OK! magazine party at which the other castmembers were joined by their significant others.
In the hours leading up to the premiere, rumors that Shay had gone missing began to circulate on social media.
Insiders claimed that the troubled aspiring musician had relapsed after battling a prescription painkiller addiction last year and fled from Scheana and his other loved ones.
Tabloids claimed he had emptied the couple’s join checking account before he disappeared.
Shortly thereafter, an unnamed friend of Shay’s informed Radar Online that Mike was not missing but that Scheana and Shay were headed for divorce.
“He’s been with his parents and brother. Everyone knows and has known exactly where he is,” says the source.
“It was inevitable.”
Now, it seems the situation is more severe than the temporary trial separation that the insider describes.
Radar is now reporting that Scheana and Shay have called it quits.
“Mike found out some things about Scheana on Wednesday, and was furious,” claims a source close to the couple.
The insider adds that the relationship is now “beyond repair.”
Part of the problem, it seems, is that the formerly unemployed Shay is beginning to find work as a session musician and producer, and while Scheana thought that’s what she wanted, she’s beginning to feel overshadowed:
“Now that things have started to click for him, there’s been some jealousy.”
Shay recently took to Instagram to report that he’s not missing, and his maintained his sobriety.
Scheana, interestingly enough, refused to comment but did cryptically claim that “the truth will come out” on the new season of Vanderpump.
It’s an ironic tagline for a show on which everyone is constantly lying to one another.

Scheana Marie and Mike Shay: Headed For Divorce?!
Earlier today, we reported that Mike Shay, husband of Vanderpump Rules star Scheana Marie Shay, had gone missing after draining the couple’s joint bank account.
Neither half of the couple has commented on the situation on social media, but a new report from Radar Online debunks the rumor that Mike “fell off the wagon” and slipped back into his old destructive habits.
Unfortunately, just because Shay is still sober, that doesn’t mean his marriage is entirely healthy.
Insiders tell the site that Mike and Scheana are living in separate homes and my be headed for a divorce.
“He’s been with his parents and brother. Everyone knows and has known exactly where he is,” says one source.
“He’s doing great, focusing on his family and his music.”
The insider (who describes himself as “very close” with Mike) says the substance abuse rumors were propagated by Scheana’s PR team with the hope of placing the blame for the failed marriage entirely on Mike.
The first report appeared on TMZ just hours after Mike skipped a Vanderpump Rules Season 5 premiere event, and the source claims that’s no coincidence.
“They knew people would ask questions when Mike didn’t show up to the premiere,” the insider says.
“It was inevitable.”
Mike and Scheana got married in 2014 in a wedding that was documented by Vanderpump cameras.
The relationship began to show signs of strain last season, when Mike’s substance abuse nearly drove Scheana away.
After several days apart, they eventually moved back in together, but sources say their relationship never quite got back on solid ground.
Production sources say the difficulties that the Shays have encountered in their brief marriage will be a central focus point for the show this season.
Sadly, it seems their unhappy ending is currently playing out in the tabloids just as the season begins.
On the bright side, at least they’ll have plenty of drama to fuel an eighth season!

Scheana Marie Shay: Husband Reportedly Goes Missing, Empties Bank Account
The fifth season of Vanderpump Rules debuts tonight on Bravo, and while some developments in the stars’ lives have emerged as a natural result of their growing fame, producers have done a solid job of keeping most of the drama under wraps.
However, one major shake-up in the lives of the show’s most beloved couple has gone public just hours before the heavily-hyped premiere.
According to TMZ, Scheana Marie Shay’s husband, Mike Shay, went missing last week and the SUR girl/aspiring pop star immediately became concerned that he had suffered a relapse.
Mike previously struggled with a prescription pill addiction, but has been sober since the beginning of this year.
Sources say Scheana immediately became concerned when she couldn’t get ahold of him, as she had recently lost an uncle and expected Mike to be at home to console her.
Fearing that he had fallen back into his old habits, she canceled his credit cards.
Shortly thereafter, however, Mike reportedly drained the joint checking account he shares with Scheana.
As of this writing, several media outlets are claiming that Shay is still missing, though it’s worth noting that he promoted the Reality Television Awards with an Instagram after he’d reportedly gone MIA.
Thus far, the Shays have been quiet about reports that their marriage is in trouble, but they could be complying with producers’ demands.
After all, the problems in their relationship made for last season’s most compelling storyline, and going public about a separation would serve as a major spoiler.
Scheana was heavily criticized last season for being dismissive of her husband’s addiction and encouraging him to drink despite his history of substance abuse.
It may be some time before we find out what’s going on with the Shays and their marriage (several media outlets have reported that they’re headed for divorce).
But this is a case where we’re sure to get the scoop eventually.
After all, being candid about their marital troubles helped these two claim center stage on one of TV’s most drama-packed reality shows.

Scheana Marie Shay: "Scary Skinny" on Instagram?
Last time we checked in on everyone’s favorite SUR girl/aspiring pop star, it was because Scheana Marie Shay got caught photoshopping a bikini photo that she had posted on Instagram.
The response to that pic were funny. The comments on her latest selfie … not so much.
Scheana posted the above photo earlier this week as part of an obvious promotion deal with HydroxyCut.
She captioned the photo:
“Getting some stretching in before my workout today! Want to take your workouts to the max? Grab some of this stuff…@hydroxycut #SP snapchat: scheanamarie addressing you haterzzzzzz”
But some hater-ish “fans” seem to think that the diet supplement has worked too well for Scheana.
Some of the uglier comments on the above pic include:
“You need all you can eat and repeat.”
“Holy sh-t ur teeeeeeny! Dont lose anymore or u will literally disappear! U must be a size 0!”
“Sorry!! Not a hater at all but you looked stunning and voluptuous before!! Thought you were beautiful!! Way too skinny now!”
“I don’t think you need to take that, your already sick skinny.”
Yes, Internet trolls be trollin’, as always, but we’d like to take this opportunity to remind of a cardinal rule of human behavior:
Just don’t comment on anyone’s weight ever, for any reason.
Not online, not in real life, not quietly behind people’s backs after they leave a room.
We’re not saying you can’t make fun of public figures, just don’t speculate about their health in idiotic fashion in public forums.
Look, if you feel the burning need to make fun of Scheana Marie, we recommend you start with her music career.

Scheana Marie: Caught Photoshopping Bikini Photo on Instagram!
If you watch Vanderpump Rules online, then you probably know Scheana Marie Shay as one of the more sane and trustworthy members of the SUR staff.
But at the end of the day, she still works in what might be the world’s most superficial restaurant, where there’s so much pressure to be hot at all times that servers and hostesses sometimes have to go the extra mile to get a leg up on the competition.
Scheana’s currently on vacation in Hawaii with her husband, Michael, and she posted the above photo, which has raised two important questions:
- Who still takes Hydroxycut? and
- What the hell happened to her left leg?
Unless she had a run-in with a shark that she’s not telling us about, Scheana has done some serious body modifying here, and we’re not talking about that dumb Almost Famous tattoo on her forearm.
Scheana, of course, is no stranger to controversy:
There’s her secret porn past. There’s her controversial response to her husband’s drug problem.
And of course, there’s the scandal that brought her to the spotlight in the first place – sleeping with Eddie Cibrian while he was still married to Brandi Glanville.
But this is the first time Mrs. Shay been busted ‘shopping her own pics.
Like all of the the ladies at SUR, Scheana openly admits to using Botox and every other artificial beauty enhancer on the market, so we doubt she’ll be terribly humiliated by this.
Frankly, if that dumb ink on her arm doesn’t embarrass her, we’re pretty sure nothing will. #ItsAllHappening

Vanderpump Rules Reunion Recap: Ariana vs. Scheana! Stassi vs. Lisa!
On the second part of Vanderpump Rules’ Season 4 reunion special, Scheana Marie and Ariana Madix explored their rocky friendship.
Also, Stassi Schroeder and Lisa Vanderpump had it out, while Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright gave us an update on their relationship …
When the second part of the reunion, a.k.a. Vanderpump Rules Season 4 Episode 22, picked up where last week’s absurdity left off …
Brittany explained her dubious decision to move in with Jax (or associate with Jax in general) despite all that we all know about him.
Jax acknowledged that he does “stupid s–t,” the understatement of all time, but called Brittany his rock. Which he might even marry.
“Maybe he can steal her a wedding ring,” Tom Sandoval said.
Speaking of marriage, “I really, truly wanted Katie to abandon all hope,” Tom Schwartz said of his unorthdox proposal to Katie Maloney.
She totes loved it, but they didn’t consummate it that night.
Or for the next 14-15 nights, now that you mention it.
“We technically should have had sex that night, but I went to put taquitos in the oven, and [Katie] passed out after I got back,” Tom said.
A hopeless romantic, that Tom Schwartz.
In all seriousness, he said that he looks to Scheana and Mike Shay’s marriage for inspiration, as they’ve been through hell and back.
Scheana has also been through a different kind of turmoil with Ariana, with whom she has an … interesting, complex friendship dynamic.
Ariana mentioned the fact that Scheana Marie bashed Tom Sandoval to Ariana’s mom via text while they were in Hawaii on vacation.
Lala Kent said it best, “If someone did that to me and my mom, I best believe someone would be going down, and it would be you.”
Not going down in the hot sense, either.
Katie, for her part, feels like Ariana thinks she’s too good for everyone, while at the same time carries herself like a “Debbie downer.”
Ms. Madix fired back that “this is the most toxic environment I’ve ever witnessed in my life,” before everyone ganged up on Ms. Kent.
According to Katie, Lala is a rude, immature, shady liar who can’t make any friends. She has no problem landing boyfriends, however.
As for Jax and Lala’s weird relationship, we all know he lied to Lala about Brittany coming into town to try to get her to go out with him.
Brittany, obviously, was not happy.
Jax denied, however, saying certain flirty things to Lala, while Lala just wanted him to own it because she owned up to flirting back.
This is middle school at its best.
One thing both of them agreed on is that if they had wanted to bone, they would bone, since we know both enjoy that act personally.
Okay, hard to argue that point.
Meanwhile, Stassi Schroeder appeared to explain why she decided to return back to the Bravo show after leaving for 12 installments.
Stassi claimed she had to “have a rock-bottom moment” to work on herself and finally turn things around and make it right with the group.
Was the group having it?
Not Jax and Tom Sandoval, who felt that Stassi had ulterior motives for returning, and zeroed in on Kristen Doute because she’s weak.
They don’t mean she’s weak in the physical sense – Kristen can deck people as hard as anyone – but emotionally. Easiest to manipulate.
Tom Sandoval was mad about the way Stassi treated Katie, but Stassi feels that Tom is out to get her and just has a weird vendetta.
Lisa just can’t take it.
“I think that if there wasn’t this show, none of you would have ever heard from Stassi Schroeder again,” Lisa said, and well, she’s right.
She, too, is pissed about the way Stassi spoke about her on camera, and we’re guessing Stassi’s apology fell upon deaf ears Monday.
“I feel that you hold things over my head, like I owe the rest of my life to you all of the time, and I feel like that’s not fair,” Stassi said.
Wait, what’s that … can you hear something? Somewhere, the world’s smallest violin is playing a sorrowful ode to Stassi Schroeder.

Scheana Marie: Secret Porn Past Revealed!
If you watch Vanderpump Rules online, you know this has been an especially revealing season for the newly-dubbed Mrs. Scheana Marie Shay.
We’ve learned that Scheana’s marriage is in trouble; we’ve seen her go full mean girl on Lala; and we witnessed the truly unfortunate Madonna costume that she wore to her 30th birthday party.
But apparently, Scheana has shown audiences even more of herself in the past.
According to a new report from Radar Online, Scheana worked on several softcore porn projects when she was just starting out in LA.
Specifically, Scheana was a recurring character on Femme Fatales, a short-lived Cinemax anthology series that sounds like it was basically The Twilight Zone with boobs.
“I really liked working with her a lot,” the show’s director Robert Meyer Burnett tells Radar.
“We were always at odds with the actors we could get and obviously you want to get good actors, but at the same time you were like, ‘You have to get naked and simulate sex.’”
Apparently, Scheana was willing to get down and dirty in more ways than one:
“Not only did she have to have sex in the show, but then she had a huge cat fight in the kitchen at the end where she is battling with knives and pots and pans,” Burnett says.
“She really went for it – I’ve got to give her all the credit in the world because she was awesome…I had a lot of fun with her. I thought she was great. Total trooper: she did everything that we asked of her.”
Burnett says he was disappointed when Scheana (not surprisingly) later tried to leave her porn past behind her.
“I had put a 2-minute directing montage of my footage from the show and I tagged everybody that was in my montage,” the director says. “She was actually the only one who objected to it.
“She wrote me back, and said, ‘Look, I want you to untag me and please don’t put me on any of your stuff anymore because I’m not doing this anymore and I’m in a different phase of my career.’
“I kind of felt bummed out…I thought she was good. I wish she looked back on doing those shows as fondly as I do.”
Yeah, Scheana – don’t be ashamed of your past, girl. Have you seen Vanderpump Rules? It’s really not much classier than porn.

Vanderpump Rules Season 4 Episode 4 Recap: Scheana Marie Is The Worst
Following the reveal of Shay’s secret, Lisa and the SUR crew forced a reeling Sheena to rethink her life on Vanderpump Rules Season 4 Episode 4?
Meanwhile, Kristen and James entered couples counseling, while so much else went down with sub-human Jax, Tom S-quared and the WeHo gang …
Scheana’s sad about her marriage and wants everyone to know it. But the show must go on, and model for Pucker & Pout she will.
Back at Sur, Jax sidles up to the hostess stand to ask Lala about her home state of Utah, and how Mormon women stay virtuous while simultaneously getting their rocks off.
Thankfully, Lisa put us out of our misery and sent him back to the bar to serve sh– drinks.
Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval acted as the episode’s moral compasses, suggesting that the days of hourly rates, print modeling and no health insurance may have passed.
It’s time to start acting (or at least think about acting) like a grown-up.
The Toms have this brilliant idea to take Lisa’s Sangria line national.
To “St. Louis!” they declared at Villa Rosa, ready to tell Lisa, Pandora and Jason the businessman model how they can expand Lisa’s empire to a few restaurants in Sandoval’s hometown.
“Boys, we’ve just come back from abroad,” Jason tells the Toms, explaining that he and Pandora have already gone global with the product.
The dumb dumbs, who have dressed ambitiously for the meeting (Lexus commercial-ambitious, to be exact), were ready to walk out of that meeting with a salary and benefits package.
Pandora promptly took the wind out of their sales and instead asked for a business plan.
St. Louis will have to wait.
On a more serious note, Vanderpump Rules is has done the impossible by turning a pill addiction into the cross Scheana must bear.
The Toms stage the most half-assed intervention (they did the best they could) for Scheana’s husband, Shay, whose been hiding out at his parents’ house in an attempt to figure out his life.
Shay’s eight-year pill addiction admission fascinates/horrifies the dumb dumbs, who spent half their time telling Scheana that she was ruining their intervention by making it about her. They were right.
The storyline gets worse later in the show, when Scheana suggested that instead of taking pills and drinking to an extreme, Shay work on getting a nice buzz.
This would make Scheana’s life easier since she runs with a party crowd, and changing that is not an option.
So, Shay can learn to get his buzz on, or he can get out of dodge.
Get out of dodge, good man. Get. Out.
Scheana’s also administering drug tests for Shay. Which….what?
Bless Lisa for being the actual grown-up in a situation that requires a very grown-up attitude.
Scheana stops by Pump, looking thrilled that the weight of her husband’s “problem” has more or less been lifted off her shoulders.
Not so, according to Lisa. Shay has a problem that he’s been hiding from his wife for eight years, and there is an addiction there that needs to be dealt with.
Nah, Scheana claims. He doesn’t need rehab. He’ll just sip his libation and work on a buzz.
Lisa advises Scheana to get her life together and open those Japanese anime eyes. Shay needs help. Not a off-market drug test.
Do we even bother talking about Kristen and James? At what point in a relationship do you throw your hands up and admit that you’re together because you’re both pathetic and lonely?
Kristen dragged James’ hungover ass to couple’s therapy, which was a bad idea from the start. The therapist watched in horror as James gave Kristen a colorful tongue-lashing.
James’ present-day Instagrams are full of him and Lala, so hopefully the audience will be put out of its misery soon enough.
Katie’s hair looks great, by the way.

Scheana Marie Asks Fans Not to Bash Her Troubled Marriage
If you watched Vanderpump Rules Season 3 Episode 4 last night, you know that there’s some serious trouble in paradise for newlyweds Scheana Marie and Doormat McGee Mike Shay.
Just months after walking down the aisle, Scheana tearfully confessed to her co-workers (and boss, because traditional workplace rules don’t apply at SUR) that Shay moved out of their apartment and hadn’t spoken to her in days.
Sadly, it seems as though Shay is suffering from serious substance abuse issues, as Scheana revealed to Lisa that he drinks heavily and pops up to five Vicodin pills a day.
We imagine it was a difficult episode for Scheana to watch, and before it got underway, she asked that fans refrain from any sort of haterism:
“Tonight is a very emotional #PumpRules episode for me,” Scheana tweeted. “I ask that you kindly keep your negative opinions to yourself.”
A reasonable request, but that didn’t stop folks from accusing Scheana of pretty serious hypocrisy:
As you may recall, Scheana slept with Eddie Cibrian while he was still married to Brandi Glanville.
There have been no rumors of infidelity in Scheana and Shay’s relationship, but it is a bit ironic that Scheana is pleading for sympathy and compassion when it comes to her own marriage, despite having fairly recently played an active part in destroying someone else’s.
Perhaps it would be different if Scheana had apologized to Brandi, or even shown the slightest remorse for sleeping with her husband, but instead she’s gloated about it on several occasions.
None of that means that Scheana deserves her current situation, but hopefully the image of a smugly grinning Brandi briefly flashed through Mrs. Shay’s mind as she composed that tweet.

LeAnn Rimes & Scheana Marie: Bonding Over Banging Eddie Cibrian?
Back in 2009, Eddie Cibrian was living the life of a Hollywood playboy and banging anything with a pulse.
That would be all well and good, were it not for the fact that Eddie was married to Brandi Glanville at the time.
Everyone knows that Eddie cheated on Brandi with LeAnn Rimes, but many have forgotten that LeAnn wasn’t Eddie’s only sidepiece.
Because one mistress apparently wasn’t enough, Eddie was also sleeping with Scheana Marie, who’s best known as one of the stars of Bravo’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills spinoff, Vanderpump Rules.
Yes, Scheana works for Brandi’s friend Lisa Vanderpump. Awkward.
Even more awkward? The fact that Scheana and LeAnn are apparently BFFs, despite the fact that Scheana used to bang LeAnn’s husband while LeAnn was dating him.
LeAnn and Scheana have even been known to give one another shout-outs on Twitter, such as when the reality star was rocking out to one of Mrs. Cibrian’s forgotten pop jams over the weekend:
“Rocking out on Pop2k with @MusicKillsKate and Can’t Fight the Moonlight comes on! Next karaoke song for me? @leannrimes lol,” Scheana tweeted.
Moments later, LeAnn tweeted back, “@scheanamarie @MusicKillsKate if there’s no video it never happened! #mustfilm.”
So we might soon have video of one of the women Eddie Cibrian cheated on his wife with singing a song by one of the other women Eddie Cibrian cheated on his wife with.
We imagine that’ll be pretty weird for Eddie.
Hey, maybe this means LeAnn and Brandi can be friends one day, after all!
