Scott Disick: Will He Fall Off the Wagon Following Sofia Richie Split?
Over the weekend, the world learned the not-so-shocking news that Scott Disick and Sofia Richie have ended their relationship.
Nothing about the situation was surprising, including the fact that the breakup allegedly happened because Disick got caught cheating.
And now, if everything proceeds apace, and Scott continues being so predictable, the next step will have him embarking on a Nicolas Cage in Leaving Las Vegas-caliber bender.
And that’s not just us being cynical.
Before he met Sofia, Scott was drinking so much that friends were reportedly afraid for his life.
And if we’ve learned anything from watching Disick endlessly repeat his mistakes for the past decade it’s that the man is a creature of habit to the bitter end.
So it comes as no surprise that those who know him best are deeply worried about the possibility that the newly-adrift Scott will spiral out of control.
Also not surprising — the most concerned party is Kourtney Kardashian, a woman who would no doubt love to cut ties with Scott for good, but is forever tethered to him by the three children they have together.
“Her concern is that Scott will go back to partying every day and be MIA,” a source tells People magazine.
As you may recall, Scott’s last bender was prompted by his breakup with Kourtney.
While the rest of the world might have seen Disick’s relationship with Richie as the ill-advised fling that it was, Scott reportedly believed they were both in it for the long haul.
And now that they’ve called it quits, it’s widely expected that Scott will suffer another meltdown.
Though Kourtney always felt that Sofia, 19, was much too young for Scott, 35, she appreciated the stabilizing effect Richie seemed to have on Disick.
“Sofia was a good influence on Scott,” the source says.
“Since she has been around, he has been drinking less and acting more like an adult,” said a different insider when Scott and Sofa were still dating.
“The kids are all very happy that Scott is around and Kourtney would hate for that to change,” the source added.
Hopefully, Scott can keep his kids at the forefront of his mind in the weeks to come.
It’s probably tough to transition from dating children to raising them, but we have faith in the Lord.

… and it’s our biggest takeaway right now after reading that Richie may take Disick back despite his duplicitous penis wandering.
“It’s likely not totally over,” an insider tells People Magazine of Richie and Disick, adding:
“They’ve broken up multiple times since they started dating and always ended up back together.
“No one would be surprised if they’re out again together in a few days or weeks.”
One sign that Richie must at least be contemplating a return to Disick’s arms is that she is yet to take down his photos from her Instagram account.
Go visit Sofia’s page and you’ll be inundated with stomach-churning PDA images such as the one above and the one below.
Heck, mere days before Disick supposedly banged some other woman and then also was spotted getting close to a different woman at Kanye West’s listening party in Wyoming, he turned 35 years old.
And he did so while on vacation in St. Bart’s with Richie, who told the online world at the time that she loved him.
But that was, like, two weeks ago.
Just a short while later, another source confirms to people, “he cheated on her, and she confronted him” and the relationship was over.
Forever and ever? We’ll see.
But Sofia’s famous father sure hopes so.
“Lionel hasn’t approved of the relationship since the beginning,” says this same insider. “He joked about it publicly but he was livid.”
Well, yeah.
D’uh.
Would you want your daughter dating someone such as Scott Disick?
We’ve never met him and all the reports we read about him may be inaccurate, but this is a guy who has always seemed like he prefers to drink alcohol than be a responsible human being.
Apparently Lionel Richie was someone who chose to watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians online or on TV each week, because he was keyed in from the get-go about Scott’s reputation.
“Lionel knows Scott’s playboy ways, and he doesn’t want to see his daughter get hurt,” People writes, making a point to add that Lionel did not voice this opinion in public very often.
Unlike Disick, he has some class.
Scott and Sofia got together in Cannes last May.
No one expected the romance to last more than a few weeks, yet it somehow went on for a full year.
They went to Italy and Mexico and New York City and lots of other cool places together, very often sharing pictures of themselves on a private plane while doing so.
And it’s conceivable that Richie may now forgive Disick, despite his drunk, sloppy and sex-laden ways.
“Scott seems fine,” an insider told People after this break-up news went viral over the weekend. “He even thinks she might change her mind. He isn’t really taking it seriously.”
Yup. He sure sounds like a keeper.

Scott Disick and Sofia Richie: It"s Over! Because Someone Cheated!
Scott Disick rose to fame, of course, as a cast member on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
Which is kind of ironic, it turns out.
Because Scott Disick cannot keep it in his pants.
Indeed, multiple celebrity gossip outlets are now reporting that Sofia Richie has broken up with Disick because she thinks he cheated on her with another woman.
We’ll wait for you to pick up your jaw from the floor before continuing with any further detail…
All ready? All set? Has the complete and total shock of this news worn off? Okay then:
“He cheated on her in Miami and she found out and told [her father] Lionel,” a source tells Us Weekly, adding:
“He said he is going to cut her off and write her out of his will if she continues her relationship with Scott as he thinks he’s extremely toxic for her.”
Yikes.
Lionel Richie has made it clear in the past that he hopes his daughter cuts Disick loose.
E! News, meanwhile, an outlet typically locked in to the happenings surrounding anything or anyone Kardashian-related, echoes this account.
An insider tells this website the same thing:
Disick stepped out on Richie in Miami, not very long after the stars returned from a romantic trip to St. Bart’s, and Sofia’s dad really did play a key role in the break-up.
The couple was also still technically an item when Disick was spotted getting very cozy with some woman at Kanye West’s album listening party in Wyoming just a few days ago.
Sofia “is upset and sad but feels like she had no choice and she couldn’t stand for being cheated on and being in such a toxic relationship,” says an E! source.
This same individual adds that Disick “unphased by [Richie’s] decision” and “doesn’t seem to care too much.”
Disick, who has two daughters and a son with Kourtney Kardashian, may now “spiral out of control immediately without Sofia around,” E! continues.
Scott and Kourtney were together for about nine years (off and on, that is) until Disick spent a few weeks partying too much in the summer of 2015.
Aside from once again putting booze before his loved ones, Disick allegedly hooked up at the time with an ex-girlfriend.
He’s always had difficulty remaining loyal as a boyfriend.
So it’s hard to say we’re blown away by these reports, although the timing is rather incredible, even for someone we trust as little as Disick.
He and Richie had just taken a vacation together, during which the latter shared the following image and also wrote, in celebration of Scott’s 35th birthday, that she loves Disick.
It now looks as if the dropping of this L-Bomb has blown up in Sofia’s face.
Writes E!:
“She is relying on her family for support and they are trying to keep her busy. She is spending her time with them and with her close friends.”
People Magazine also confirms this split and also confirms that Disick’s “sloppy” actions when drunk are what led to the parting of ways.
But will it be permanent?
Maybe not, in Disick’s misguided view.
“He thinks she might change her mind. He isn’t really taking it seriously,” a source tells People.
Disick and Richie were together for about a year.
Folks were taken aback to see them together in Cannes in May of 2017… and then even more taken aback when the relationship ended up being more than a fling.
Although, in Disick’s mind, let’s be honest: everything in life is a fling.

Kylie Jenner: Dumping Travis Scott for Being Too Controlling?
Look, this may be hard for you to believe, but it sounds like Kylie Jenner might have a little personal drama going on in her life.
No, no, we know what you’re thinking.
Kylie, dealing with some drama?! No way!
Rich and famous 20-year-old reality stars who have just had a baby with a guy they’d been dating for a few weeks when they got pregnant are usually so chill, right?
But, against all odds, Kylie is going through some stuff.
We’ve heard plenty of rumors about Kylie lately — some about her relationship with Travis Scott, some about the paternity of precious little Stormi, then a few more about Travis.
So it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise that this latest rumor is another one about Kylie’s relationship.
Unfortunately, it’s not great news.
Even though there’s been some speculation lately that Kylie and Travis may be engaged, a source tells Radar Online that that’s “definitely” not the case.
In fact, she’s been “feeling totally smothered” by him these days.
“She is glad that she has a baby with him,” the insider says, “but he has been way overbearing and trying to control her entire life.”
“Travis wants to tell Kylie what she can wear and where she can go and she is way too independent for all of that.”
To be clear, the source states that Travis “doesn’t give her any freedom.”
It doesn’t sound great — controlling relationships never are.
But it does fit along with another report we’ve heard recently, one about how Travis wanted Kylie to give up her career to be a stay-at-home mom.
Remember, that source claimed that he’s “worried” that she’s “going to morph back into her socialite and partying ways and not put Stormi first.”
Apparently she’d told him that she was gearing up to “get back into her work and her branding,” but he wants her “to scale back her work and social life and be a stay-at-home mom for the time being.”
It sounds like they both want completely different things, right?
That’s why you should probably get to know someone a little before having a baby with them.
And the “working mom” thing isn’t the only issue — a source close to Travis claims that “things have moved incredibly fast and it’s becoming too intense” for him.
“He’s very much his own man and feels like he’s not getting to have his say in anything anymore.”
Welcome to the family, buddy.
“Travis loves Kylie,” the insider adds, “but he isn’t used to being in the spotlight in this way.”
“The harsh reality of what being a Kardashian boyfriend really means is slowly starting to dawn on him and he’s struggling with it.”
… Again, welcome to the family. That’s just sort of how this whole thing works.
As for Kylie, “She honestly doesn’t know if she wants to stay with him for the long haul.”
Well, it might be time to figure that out, kids.

Sofia Richie Drops L-Bomb on Scott Disick
Folks, this is serious.
We’ve said that before, we know.
But it still hasn’t settled in, no matter how many times Sofia Richie and Scott Disick express extreme affection for each other.
The latest example came to us on Saturday, after Richie shared the romantic photo of herself and Disick on Instagram, wishing her boyfriend a very happy 35th birthday in the accompanying caption.
“Happy Birthday babe! Thank you for being you. Love you,” wrote Sofia.
Yes, she loves him.
It’s safe to assume no one saw such intense feelings coming when these two hooked up last year.
Richie had semi-recently been scorned by Justin Bieber; Disick spent all his time drinking and/or pining over Kourtney Kardashian.
And yet they started posing for photos together on social media… the romance continued to heat up… and now many celebrity gossip fans barely even bat an eye when a message such as the one above is relayed.
Heck, there’s even been talk that Disick wants to put a baby inside of Richie.
The reality star is allegedly “putting pressure on Sofia to have a baby,” according to an anonymous Life & Style source, which is hilarious and troubling on many levels.
One of which being that Richie is 19 years old.
We’re also pretty sure that three kids spawned by Scott Disick is already three kids too many.
(No offense, Mason, Reign and Penelope. You’re all cuties and we wish you nothing but the best.)
In the image above, Richie and Disick are on vacation in St. Bart’s.
They seem to take many trips together, often snappng pictures while on board a private jet or on some tropical location.
They also seem to spend a lot of time with Disick’s aforementioned children, which has supposedly prompted some backlash from their mother.
“Kourtney flipped out and she told Scott that Sofia needs to back the f-ck off right now before she makes her back off,” an insider said of Kardashian in March.
Richie’s response, according to this same report?
“She doesn’t care what Kourtney thinks.”
Despite their age difference, meanwhile, Scott and Sofia are still going strong after almost a year of dating.
That much is very clear at this point.
They “have gotten more serious the past few months,” an insider recently told E! News, adding:
“They have definitely had their ups and downs, but lately everything has been really good between them.”
The stars were spotted getting cozy on a yacht in Cannes about a year ago at this time, in May of 2017.
Then, in September Disick seemingly confirmed their romantic status by posting a photo of the two of them in Miami.
There are no questions about it now, however. These two are hot, heavy… and headed to the altar?
Crazier things have happened, right?
Such as anyone wanting to date Scott Disick in the first place.

If you thought that Lionel Richie hoped they’d break up before, it sounds like he’ll have extra cause for concern.
This insider claims that Scott thinks that a lovechild will adhere him to the Richies.
“He loves living a lavish lifestyle and pushing Sofia to have a baby is a way into her wealthy family.”
Now, our first thought — of many — was: wait, isn’t Scott Disick rich?
Because he is definitely rich. He’s worth an estimated $ 16 million, and many assume that he has been paying for his lavish vacations and private jet adventuring with Sofia.
But Sofia’s father is Lionel Richie, who is worth an estimated $ 200 million.
I’m no mathemetician, but 200 is more than 16. Heck, it’s more than two 16s.
According to Life & Style, Scott has concerns about his own financial future.
Banging his way through the world’s strategic reserve of 19-year-old models might sound like a fun way to spend the last few years, but it hasn’t exactly endeared him to the Kardashians.
And why is Scott famous? For his role on Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
“He’s concerned he’ll gradually be forgotten.”
As he continues to get edged out of a show on which he was once a star, the source claims that he worries that various revenue streams willd ry up.
“Which will mean less endorsement money.”
See, people don’t pay you as much to push their ridiculous weight loss products or whatever on Instagram when you’re not a big star.
“He’ll do whatever it takes to continue living the lifestyle he’s become accustomed to.”
But a source tells HollywoodLife that Scott’s golddigging ploy isn’t likely to work — because Sofia isn’t ready to become a pregnant teen.
“Sofia is already over mommy duty, after just a few days away with Scott and his kids.”
Remember when Sofia and Scott vacationed with Kourtney’s kids?
It was apparently quickly clear to Sofia that having children, even with a small army of nannies at your disposal, is a whole lot of work.
Sofia, if you’ll recall, is the youngest of her siblings. Older siblings who also serve as primary caregivers learn how much work parenting is when they take care of their younger siblings.
We imagine that playing stepmom with Scott was an eye-opening experience for Sofia, to say the least.
It is entertaining to hear that Scott is trying to pull a Blac Chyna on Sofia.
But is it true? We can’t help but consider that perhaps a source is misreading his motives.
Scott may have discussed the idea of having babies with Sofia, but wouldn’t that be because he’s at a stage in life where having children is an appropriate behavior?
He’s already a father of three.
Sofia is 19. This is not the time to have babies. This is the time to make friends and party and discover who you are (and, for normal people, to launch a career or go to school or both).
As for Scott’s alleged plot to impregnate Sofia to land her family’s cash, quite frankly, we’re not sure that Scott is thinking that far ahead right now.
