Kailyn Lowry Takes Sad, Solo "Babymoon" Vacation
From the moment the rumors first began to circulate online, Kailyn Lowry’s third pregnancy has been fraught with speculation, drama, and intense online scrutiny.
Now, just weeks away from becoming a mom for the third time, Kailyn has clearly made the decision to devote some time to herself with a relaxing vacation in one of her favorite destinations – Puerto Rico.
Unfortunately, there’s a tinge of sadness to the trip, as Kail is reportedly traveling solo.
Lowry is no longer dating Chris Lopez, the father of the child, having parted ways with her fellow Delaware State University student after a fling that lasted only a few weeks.
Currently, her two sons are both visiting their fathers, which means that when it came time to get in one last vacation before welcoming another bundle of Joy, Lowry made the decision to go it alone.
“She wanted to go back to Puerto Rico before the baby comes,” a source close to Lowry told Radar.
“The boys were with their dads so she went for a few days.”
No word on how she got down there (Many fans have wondered if Kailyn is flying during her third trimester.), but it seems the 26-year-old is enjoying her “me time.”
“Baby Lo and I just went for our first ocean swim of the summer,” Kail tweeted.
“I should’ve bought my GoPro so I could be entertained while I’m in the water by myself.”
There’s a note of melancholy in some of Lowry’s social media posts that creates the impression she would prefer to have a traveling companion.
A recent Snapchat photo featured a plate of pasta with a caption reading, “Dinner for one.”
Kailyn’s conflicting emotions may have to do with the fact that she’s coping with a breakup and preparing for the pressures of becoming a single mother of three at the same time.
“She wants to give him the opportunity to see his child being born,” says one insider on the subject of Lowry’s breakup with Lopez.
“She never said Chris couldn’t be involved with his child. She would hope he would want that, but she won’t force it or chase him to do so.”

Kanye West Not Attending MET Gala, Kim Kardashian Going Solo
Kim Kardashian will not have the support of husband, Kanye West at this year’s MET Gala in New York.
“Kanye West will not be attending the MET Ball tomorrow,” the source says.
“Kim will be going solo. He’s still very much enjoying his time off from public events.
In case you’ve been living under a rock, we’ll school you on Kanye’s self-imposed exile from the public eye.
The poor guy broke down late last year, just weeks after Kim was robbed at gunpoint in Paris, France. Since his hospitalization, he has steered clear of the spotlight.
Now, it’s not uncommon for someone to want a break after a horrifying ordeal. Kim did just that after the horrible stuff that happened to her.
We’re sitting here wondering whether he will ever return. Could you imagine if Kanye never graced the MTV VMAs stage again?
He sure loves to throw some shade and start a conversation.
“He’ll be staying back in L.A. with their kids,” the source added. Maybe Kanye just wants to spend every minute with his kids.
“Everything is great with him and Kim, and he’s supportive of her going solo.”
Well, it’s not like Kim would have said no to the event. Despite Kanye staying at home, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star will have the support of her sisters, Kylie and Kendall Jenner.
See?
She does not need Kanye to follow her around everywhere like a lost puppy. Not when she has her equally as glamorous sisters to have on each arm at the event.
Kim and Kanye have been regulars at the MET Gala ever since they made their debut as a couple there in 2013, so this does feel like a tradition is being broken.
Either way, we’re sure we can count on Kim to show off some amazing fashion. She’s slated to wear a design from Vivienne Westwood, so we’re excited to see the pictures.

Tarek and Christina El Moussa: We Hate Each Other and We Want Solo Shows!
They’re putting on a good front, or at least trying, but Tarek and Christina El Moussa are “desperately trying” to launch their own solo careers.
According to reports, the Flip or Flop stars are “terrified” their TV careers are over and are pulling out all the stops to ensure they survive.
Even if the marriage that helped launch said careers is kaput.
While Christina El Moussa dating Gary Anderson quietly and insisting everything is fine with estranged ex Tarek, we’re not so certain.
Tarek El Moussa has dropped Christina from his real estate business amid their split, recently rebranding his agency Tarek and Associates.
Christina, 33, is also pursuing her own career goals, but according to Hollywood Life, there probably going to be an adjustment period.
“Unfortunately, they are terrified of going back to ‘civilian’ life off TV,” a source said, and that isn’t exclusive to the female Flip or Flop star.
“Christina loves being on TV and wants to parlay Flip Or Flop into a bigger career in front of the camera,” says the insider.
As for El Moussa’s soon-to-be-ex-better half?
“Tarek’s also about the perks that come with being a TV star,” says the insider, though Tarek’s enjoyment of that is somewhat different.
“He loves the attention he gets from women.”
Despite the fact that his partnership with Christina is at the crux of Flip or Flop, Tarek’s actions prove he’s ready to move on from her.
Both professionally and personally.
He’s reportedly circulating ads in Orange County, California with only his picture and information on it, and has started working with Sotheby’s.
In other words, she can say filming Flip or Flop with Tarek is great and put on a good front on Instagram, but that facade is crumbling.
Everyone who knows them knows.
“Tarek and Christina were definitely putting on a show for the public,” an eyewitness dished after the El Moussas’ first post-split appearance.
“When the cameras weren’t pointed at them the smiles dropped and there was [a lot of] tension between them,” one source explained.
“They did not look happy to be together, at all.”
“It’s clear they’re just going through the motions in an attempt to save their show,” and the likelihood of that remains uncertain at best.
If so, Christina’s going through them well.
She shared a candid shot of the crew, including her ex Tarek, on February 15, gushing about the whole team effort that is Flip or Flop.
“I’ve never met a group of more positive, fun-loving, funny … all around amazing guys,” writes the HGTV star and mother of two.
“Filming 7 seasons of #FlipOrFlop has been a breeze because of them. I <3 each and every one of you,” Christina added in the caption.
Again, it’s not fooling anyone close to her.
In Touch claims that Christina cheated on Tarek with Anderson, and that she may have been spotted with Gary before anyone knew about it.
The celebrity gossip publication alleges that Tarek caught her sending explicit text messages to the contractor, once employed by the couple.
In the fight that ensued – which led to a 911 call and, months later, TMZ knowing about it, Tarek reportedly pulled a gun on his spouse.
They both chalked this up to a misunderstanding, with Tarek surrendering all (legal) weapons to the cops and no criminal charges filed.
Still, it was never the same between them after that, and allegedly, Tarek made a habit of demeaning his wife in front of the whole crew.
“When she said the wrong thing and they had to do a retake, he got pissed. He often made her cry,” an HGTV insider told the magazine.
“Tarek found humor in humiliating his wife in repeated verbal attacks,” one source close to production claims, and it was bad … really bad.
“Some of his bad behavior was even caught on camera [in footage that never aired]. Tarek called Christina a ‘whore’ on set many times.”
There is even a claim that Tarek threatened to rape Christina within earshot of people working on Flip or Flop, which is just horrifying.
We hope that’s not true and that they really can work through whatever issues they have for the sake of their young son and daughter.

Hope Solo: Suspended By U.S. Women"s Soccer!
Soccer star Hope Solo has been suspended from the U.S. Women’s National Team for six months, the organization announced on Wednesday.
The athlete will be ineligible to compete until February.
Here disciplinary action comes after the goalkeeper, who helped Team USA to gold in the 2008 and 2012 Olympics, lashed out in Rio.
Hope slammed the Swedish women’s soccer team after the U.S. was stunningly defeated and knocked out of medal contention early.
Sunil Gulati, the president of the organization, criticized “the comments by Hope Solo after the match against Sweden at the 2016 Olympics.”
Solo’s comments “were unacceptable and do not meet the standard of conduct we require from our National Team players,” Gulati said.
“Beyond the athletic arena and beyond the results” of the match, “the Olympics celebrate the ideals of fair play and respect.”
The USWNT felt Solo didn’t live up to those ideals.
“We expect all of our representatives to honor those principles,” Gulati said, explaining the suspension, “with no exceptions.”
After the August 12 defeat, Solo said she thought the losing Team USA played a “courageous game,” while Sweden … did not.
“I think we showed a lot of heart. We came back from a goal down. I’m very proud of this team,” the controversial star began.
“But I also think we played a bunch of cowards,” she said.
“The best team did not win today. I strongly believe that.”
Obviously, her comments did not go over too well.
Swedish coach Pia Sundhage, who previously coached Team USA to those two Olympic gold medals, blasted the goalie for her attitude.
“We won the game. They played more attacking football than we did. We defended very well,” Sundhage told The Los Angeles Times.
“It’s OK to be a coward if you win.”
In response, Solo retweeted Sports Illustrated‘s full transcript of her much-discussed quote and admitted that she’s not the best loser.
“Losing sucks. I’m really bad at it,” she wrote.
That wasn’t sufficient to avoid a suspension, but at least it was honest; Hope does not mince words, or hold back her actions.
After posting photos that some felt were disrespectful about the host nation, Solo was taunted with “Zika” chants earlier in the games.
This isn’t Solo’s first brush with trouble.
In 2015, she was benched for 30 days for “an incident that occurred during the current WNT training camp” that was held in Carson, Calif.
Allegedly, there was drunken driving of the team van by her husband, who’s been by her side throughout a few of Solo’s lower points.
Hope was arrested for domestic violence in 2014, and has been involved in some eyebrow-raising incidents with Jerramy Stevens (below):

Hope Solo Taunted by "ZIKA" Chants in Olympic Opener
Hope Solo did not allow a single goal during the U.S. Women"s opening Olympic soccer match on Wednesday, helping the team shut out its opponent by a score of 2-0.
In the minds of fans at the match, however, this victory was hollow.
Because Solo is a actually a big loser.
The controversial goalie did not endear herself to Rio de Janeiro residents in the lead-up to this summer"s Olympics, sharing multiple social media messages that referenced the region"s Zika virus outbreak.
Last month, Solo joked about her preparations for these Games, first posting a photograph of herself in a mosquito net.
"Not sharing this!!! Get your own! #zikaproof #RoadToRio," she wrote as a caption to the image below.
She then put up another picture, this time depicting a bed with excessive amounts of bug repellent laid out for packing.
"If anyone in the village forgets to pack repellent, come and see me…#DeptOfDefense #zikaproof," she penned as the caption this time around.
"If I had to make the choice today, I wouldn"t go [to the Olympics]," she told Sports Illustrated at the time.
"The Zika virus is definitely a concern to me … I do know that it"s spreading and they don"t really have a vaccination to treat it, so it"s definitely worrisome."
It is, that much is true.
Zika is especially dangerous for pregnant woman because contracting it can give you baby a strong chance of being born with birth defects.
Solo says she understands the odds of getting the disease are slim, but she just wants to take every precaution possible.
Which is understandable. But she may have overdone it online.
She also doesn"t have the best reputation overall, having been accused of attacking her half-sister and nephew in June of 2014.
Just ask Maksim Chmerkovskiy how he feels about Hope Solo.
Asked after the game about the taunts you can clearly hear below, Solo blew them off as being part of the sport.
"Often times it"s part of the football culture to boo the goalkeeper. I"m okay with that," she told the press.
"I was pretty focused on the game. What goes on around me in the stadium, honestly, it doesn"t really matter."

Maksim Chmerkovskiy: I"d Like to Kill Hope Solo!
Back in 2011, Hope Solo competed on Dancing With the Stars along with fan-favorite Maksim Chmerkovskiy as her coach and partner.
The duo performed respectably, finishing in fourth place, but their working relationship is remembered as one of the most volatile in the history of the show.
Rehearsal footage showed Chmerkovskiy getting rough with Solo during rehearsals, and neither of them had anything good to say about the other after their time on the show was through.
Just when it seemed that they had quietly gone their separate ways, Solo dropped a bombshell in her memoir, claiming that Chmerkovskiy slapped her during one of their final rehearsals together.
Maksim swears that incident never happened, but Hope still sticks to her story three years later.
So we suppose it’s not surprising that Maks didn’t have a lot of kind things to say about the former USWNT goalie in a recent podcast interview:
“She’s just a sh-tty person,” Maksim says. “You can have a sh-tty life growing up, but if you’re a bad person, there’s no excuse for that.”
The remark was made during a game of “F-ck, Marry, Kill” and not surprisingly, Chmerkovskiy stated, “I would definitely kill Hope Solo” (hypothetically, of course).
