Mackenzie Standifer: I"m Standing By Ryan Edwards!

Back in June, Ryan Edwards married Mackenzie Standifer in a rushed ceremony that took place in a parking lot while Ryan was struggling to maintain consciousness.

Despite those auspicious beginnings, married life hasn’t been particularly kind to the Edwards.

For starters, there was the business of Ryan driving to his wedding high on prescription painkillers.

He checked into rehab shortly after saying “I do,” but that’s still a pretty major hurdle for a couple young newlyweds to clear right at the outset.

And things only got more complicated from there.

Most recently, Ryan was caught using Tinder to try and cheat on Mackenzie, who – let’s take a moment to remember – he’s only been married to for two months.

Ryan was caught red-handed soliciting sex from a 19-year-old fan, which is a pretty humiliating development for both Edwards and Standifer.

Quite understandably, Mackenzie remained tight-lipped on the situation at first, but now she’s giving fans some insight into how she feels about her flaming trainwreck of a marriage.

“Strength is what we gain from the madness we survive,” Mackenzie she recently wrote on Instagram, sounding very much like she’s quoting Littlefinger from Game of Thrones.

“The things I’ve been through in my life that were meant to break me have made me who I am today,” Mackenzie added.

It seems Mackenzie meant for the cryptic comments to serve as a confirmation that she and Edwards are still together, but they were widely misinterpreted by fans.

Some felt it was her way of saying that she and Ryan had split, and one went so far as to cite a tabloid story as evidence that the marriage was over.

That’s when Mackenzie decided to get specific and clarify the matter.

“It’s false,” she wrote. “He’s actually right here next to me.”

So there you have it.

For better or worse, Mackenzie and Ryan are still a married couple.

We suppose it’s a good thing that they’re still trying to make it work.

We just hope Ryan realizes he has an insanely deep hole to try and dig his way out of.

Corinne Olympios" Boyfriend: I"m Standing By Her!

For the first time since the Bachelor in Paradise sex scandal first came to light, some fans breathed a sigh of relief after Warner Bros. investigators determined that no sexual assault took place.

But it turns out that Corinne Olympios’ boyfriend, Jordan Gielchinsky, isn’t reassured that Warner Bros. determined that their own property hadn’t engaged in any wrongdoing.

For some reason, he’s going to believe his girlfriend and multiple witnesses with whom he’s spoken. Imagine!

Jordan tells E! that he’s standing by Corinne Olympios, and that previous rumors about his feelings were just speculation at best.

Gielchinsky

“I have known Corinne for over 10 years and as a friend or boyfriend, she will continue to receive my unwavering loyalty and support until I decide that there is a legitimate reason not to give it.”

That’s pretty straightforward.

And super honest — he’s not claiming that he’s going to be by her side until the end of time.

He also speaks … very formally.

Now, it could be that he went over his statement with an attorney or something, but some people just talk like that.

Like, I did as a teenager. And then I realized that talking is about communication with others and, since nobody else talked that way, I needed to adjust, and I did.

But Jordan clearly hasn’t. The rest of his statement is even more formal.

“Anything the public may perceive that is coming from me is pure speculation.”

There have been rumors flying around about how he felt, but he clearly doesn’t believe that she cheated.

It’s not cheating if you didn’t choose to do it, folks.

He’s still pretty careful with his words, which comes across a little stilted, but it’s smart.

Especially given the circumstances.

“There is an ongoing inquiry that must follow a course to its conclusion before I can fully comment.”

It sounds like he’s talking about more than just the Warner Bros investigation.

“I pay very little attention to the media and try to ignore all the conjecture surrounding my relationship with Corinne.  The only two people who know the true disposition of our relationship is Corinne and I.”

He might be formal but he’s having some subject-verb agreement issues there at the end.

Also that sentence should definitely end with “Corinne and me.”

Other than that, though, he seems to be a good guy when it counts.

As in, his response to Corinne Olympios talking about being a victim isn’t to break up with her or to join the people who are blaming her.

There’s so much that we don’t know about what happened on the Bachelor in Paradise set.

There’s so much that Corinne Olympios herself doesn’t know, and that’s kind of the whole problem.

We’ve seen no indications that DeMario Jackson is responsible for what happened.

He was, after all, apparently nearly as drunk as she was.

DeMario has been understandably very defensive ever since, as — given the unpleasant and ongoing history of racism in this country — some people may perceive him as some sort of predator.

But if they were both too drunk to give consent, then the question of sexual assault is a lot more complicated.

And potential finger-pointing might be directed at producers and crew members who might have encouraged the pool romp to take place in a misguided attempt for better ratings.

If there really wasn’t a sexual assault, then it’s possible that the producer who reported what happened overreacted and then proceeded to mislead Corinne Olympios.

We may end up getting more of the story as Corinne’s lawyers conduct their own investigation.

Or, at the very least, Corinne should learn more.

In the mean time, Warner Bros is apparently so confident that nothing horrible happened on their set that they’re resuming filming of Bachelor in Paradise.

We’re assuming that, this time, the cast will be a little different.

Frankly, some folks were looking forward to Corinne’s antics.

Before this upsetting story broke, that is.

Because of the legally complicated situation, we don’t know if they’ll work contestants talking about the scandal into the show as a storyline.

But we know that a lot of people will be tuned in just to catch a whiff of the pool sex romp aftermath.

Tim Allen: Stunned, Irate Over Last Man Standing Cancelation

Tim Allen has broken his silence over the cancelation of Last Man Standing.

And he isn’t very happy about it.

Earlier this week, ABC announced that it was giving the axe to the long-running sitcom, which has helped anchor its Friday night block of comedic programming for years.

For six years, to be exact. Last Man Standing was canceled after six seasons.

This is far more time on the air than most programs get to enjoy, yet a controversy has broken out over the reasons why ABC decided not to bring the series back.

Some believe the choice was made due to Allen being one of the few outspoken Republicans in Hollywood.

In March, remember, the actor told Jimmy Kimmel that being conservative in Hollywood was akin to living in Nazi Germany in the 1930s.

“You’ve gotta be real careful around here,” he said as a guest on the talk show, explaining why as follows:

“You get beat up if you don’t believe what everybody believes. This is like ’30s Germany.

“I don’t know what happened. If you’re not part of the group, you know, ‘What we believe is right!’ I go, ‘Well I might have a problem with that.’ I’m a comedian, I like going on both sides.”

This reference did NOT go over well.

In response to the cancelation of the sitcom, meanwhile, a Change.org petition, which calls for a boycott of ABC, has garnered more than 170,000 signatures.

“Last Man Standing is one of the only shows on broadcast television, and the only sitcom, that is not constantly shoving liberal ideals down the throats of the viewers,” the petition reads.

“And sadly, that is likely the real reason the show has been cancelled.”

Is Allen discouraging this mindset?

Not really.

On Tuesday afternoon, he reacted as follows on Twitter:

Stunned and blindsided by the network I called home for the last six years. #lastmanstanding

Tim Allen tweet

Allen, of course, doesn’t directly mention any sort of political agenda in that Tweet.

But he’s clearly aware of the controversy and is not-so-subtly doing his best to stoke the angry flames.

Earlier on Tuesday, during a conference call with reporters, ABC entertainment president Channing Dungey defended her decision to cancel the show.

She acknowledged the ratings have been decent, but said the network simply chose to go in a dramatic direction Fridays this fall.

“A large part of these jobs are managing failure and we’ve made the tough calls and canceled shows that we’d otherwise love to stay on the air,” Dungey said, adding:

“That’s the job. I canceled Last Man Standing for the same business and scheduling reasons that I canceled Dr. Ken, The Real O’Neals, The Catch and American Crime.

“And Last Man Standing was a challenging one for me because it was a steady performer in the ratings, but once we made the decision not to continue with comedies on Fridays, that was where we landed.”

Will this explanation satisfy those threatening to boycott ABC?

We don’t know.

Do people out there truly believe that a network would employ an actor for six seasons on a series that brought in a lot of money… and then suddenly think of non-business, political partisan reasons to fire that actor?

Yes, evidently they do.

Rasheeda: I"m Standing By Kirk Frost!

Rasheeda Buckner-Frost is standing by her man.

Strongly. Forcefully. With passion.

According to a third-hand, anonymous source, that is.

Over the past few months, this marriage has teetered on the verge of disaster, due to ongoing reports that Frost didn’t merely cheat on Rasheeda…

… but he went ahead and knocked up his side piece, a woman named Jasmine Washington.

In an incredible coincidence, Washington is now a full-time cast member on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, showing off on the Season 6 premiere to shock Rasheeda and Kirk with news of the latter’s alleged paternity.

She gave birth last summer to a boy named Kannon and swears that Kirk is the father.

This isn’t the first time Kirk has been accused of infidelity, of course; he was captured on camera getting it on with two women in a hot tub back on Season 2.

He was also accused last year of possessing an apartment that he claimed to be using as an “office,” only it was an open secret that he really took other women there.

To have sex with, in case that wasn’t clear.

So, what is Rasheeda’s reaction to these latest rumors? To the possibility that Kirk is the dad of another woman’s child?

“Rasheeda [has] invested has so much of her life into Kirk that she can’t help but believe him,” an insider tells Hollywood Life, adding for emphasis;

“That’s her man, her world, and she loves him. Her entire life and her ability to trust anyone, especially a man, would come crumbling down if Kirk’s the father of [Jasmine Washington]‘s baby.”

Rasheea and Kirk have been together for 17 years. They have two children of their own.

When you watch Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta online, however, it’s not hard to wonder about the couple’s future.

They don’t seem especially stable.

Adds this Hollywood Life source:

“It was be a huge blow to Rasheeda’s spirt and she’d start unraveling quickly [if Kirk impregnated Jasmine]. She’s sticking by her man. She has to to keep her sanity and her life in check.”

Hey, we get it.

Learning that your husband is the father of his mistress’ baby would be difficult for anyone.

Rasheeda may therefore be comforted by another recent report, one that calls into question the entire Jasmine Washington baby story.

According to In Touch Weekly sources, Washington has been pulling a con on Frost since late last year.

An insider claims Jasmine knows that an ex-boyfriend named Logan is the father of little Kannon, but she’s working with Mimi Faust’s ex, Rod Bullock, to pull one over on Kirk.

She’s hoping to extort him for a lot of money and some time in the spotlight.

“In upcoming episodes, this information will be revealed as Jasmine and Rod are trying to set up Kirk,” In Touch writes, previewing future installments of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.

Looking further ahead, the tabloid mole teases:

“When Logan (the real father of the baby) shows up to film a scene about the entire situation, Jasmine is blindsided and runs out the room because she realizes he is about to blow up her entire false story.

“Jasmine had no idea the producers dug up her ex-boyfriend.”

Sounds dramatic!

Sounds almost like this entire thing has been scripted by VH1 from the very beginning!
