It’s been less than a month since Teen Mom 2’s Chelsea Houska and Cole DeBoer confirmed they are getting hitched.
In the midst of their excitement though, there is drama brewing. Imagine that.
Last season on Teen Mom 2, Chelsea revealed that her daughter Aubree, 6, was calling her boyfriend Cole “dad” when he moved in.
Aubree’s real dad is Chelsea’s ex-boyfriend Adam Lind. So when little Aubree started calling Cole dad, things got confusing.
Like really confusing. So much that Adam recently claimed that little Aubree was confused about was who is her real father.
Now, Adam Lind is setting the record straight–both with his daughter and his social media followers.
Adam posted a picture of his daughter on Instagram with the caption, “BTW everyone aubree does NOT call Cole dad.. Nor she’s even want too …”
Aubree’s biological father even stated that he had to sit down with Aubree and explain that he is her dad.
“I asked Aubree about it cuz she seemed confused …” he explained. “So I helped my 6 yr old from being corrupted thinking another man will step in and take my place.”
According to Adam, Aubree understood the difference after a short explanation that differentiated the roles of he and his ex’s future husband. “Aubree is smart and she knew right away who her real daddy is,” he wrote.
Then, of course, Adam threw shade at Chelsea and the hit MTV reality show: “Chelsea only asked Aubree that for drama of the stupid worthless tv show y’all are glued too.”
The drama between Adam and Chelsea extends far beyond snarky Instagram posts. Earlier this year, Adam threatened to take Chelsea to court (again) to demand full custody of their daughter.
He even claimed on social media that he was awarded full custody of his other 2-year-old daughter Paislee. He fathered Paislee with ex Taylor Halbur.
However, his claims about receiving full custody of Paislee were false.
According to a source, Adam only had visitation rights, allowing him to see Paislee “every other weekend and one night a week only if he gives Paislee’s mother 24-hour notice.”
Not only did he lie about receiving full custody of Paislee, Adam Lind was also arrested for failure to pay child support earlier this year.
We aren’t legal experts, but we have a hunch that Adam won’t be awarded custody any time soon–or ever.
