Prince William to Kate Middleton: Stop Flirting!

Go on, you two!

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are competitive with one another, so it came as no surprise when they went head-to-head for the most donations during ICAP’s Charity Day on December 9th.

At one point, Catherine was brokering a deal via phone with a bloke named Andrew.

“Catherine, I think you can stop flirting with them now,” William teased, according to the Daily Mail‘s Rebecca English.

He then turned to a broker and joked, “sorry, my wife’s just embarrassing me!”

Catherine, who sported a new haircut, was indeed turning on the charm, advising Andrew to “ask nicely, pretty please.”

Well, Andrew did just that, and Catherine wished him a Happy Christmas.

The charity day sees all funds raised donated to worthy causes, and the Cambridges had selected three – SkillForce, Sportsaid and Place2Be.

Employees don outlandish costumes for the occasion, and one group chose to go as “Dave” from England’s “MoneySuperMarket #EpicStrut” campaign.

In the commercial, Dave struts his stuff down the street (in a jacket, tie, hot pants and heels) after saving money on car insurance to the tune of Pussycat Dolls’ “Dont Cha.”

William was fascinated, and couldn’t get over the heel height.

“That was the first thing he asked me – where on earth did I get them from,” Dan Lebau told English of meeting the Duke.

“I’m a size ten and it wasn’t easy. I told him we were quite enjoying it but I had new respect for women.”

Today, Catherine visited  Action on Addiction’s Centre for Addiction Treatment Studies in Warminster Wiltshire, to see its work providing training, education and professional development for those working in addiction and other related fields.

Meanwhile, William awarded medals to members of the British army who treated patients with Ebola in West Africa.
