Caitlyn Jenner apparently doesn’t care that Donald Trump has a respectable penis.
She’s voting for Ted Cruz this year.
The transgender reality star has made no secret that she remains a Republican despite her change in gender, telling The Advocate this week that she’s on Team Cruz.
“I like Ted Cruz,” Jenner says. “I think he’s very conservative, and a great constitutionalist, and a very articulate man … he’s an evangelical Christian, and probably one of the worst ones when it comes to trans issues.”
But that isn’t enough for Cruz to lose Caitlyn’s vote.
In the first official trailer (below) for the new season of I Am Cait, which premieres on March 6, Jenner can be seen happily meeting with Hillary Clinton, a strong advocate for LGBT rights and the presumptive Democratic nominee for President.
Nevertheless, Jenner urges her fans to vote Republican.
“I get it. The Democrats are better when it comes to these types of social issues. I understand that,” Caitlyn says of her party’s lack of support for those in the LGBT community.
“[But] if we don’t have a country, we don’t have trans issues.”
You can’t really argue with that logic.
Jenner has met Cruz and labels him as a “nice man.”
This is why she will be voting for him:
“We need jobs. We need a vibrant economy. I want every trans person to have a job.
“With $ 19 trillion in debt and it keeps going up, we’re spending money we don’t have. Eventually, it’s going to end. And I don’t want to see that.
“Socialism did not build this country. Capitalism did. Free enterprise. The people built it. And they need to be given the opportunity to build it back up.”
Cruz is opposed to gay marriage, to gays serving in the military and has even said he may put an end to gay pride parades.
But Caitlyn is undeterred. Could she serve as his trans ambadassor of some kind?!?
“Let’s say he goes on to be President,” she says. “And I have all my girls on a trans issues board to advise him on making decisions when it comes to trans issues.
“Isn’t that a good idea?”
