But the controversial reality star’s daughter has given Richards a reason to be excited about her life once again.
Because Kim Richards is going to be a grandmother!
Kim’s daughter, 27-year old Brooke Wiederhorn, broke the exciting news on Instagram on Sunday, sharing an Easter basket filled with baby toys and explained the reason why in her caption.
“Happy Easter,” she wrote. “Can’t wait to meet our baby BOY!”
So there you have it.
Richards even knows the gender of the grandchild on the way.
This happy family news comes along just as Richards keeps trying to strengthen ties with her sisters, Kyle Richards and Kathy Hilton.
All three of them took a trip to to Palm Springs, California, for the weekend to celebrate the Easter holiday.
As those who watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills online know quite well, tension has existed for a long time between siblings.
“It was hard. It was very difficult,” Richards told Andy Cohen of moving past the pain caused by her fights with Kylie.
“For myself, I have to take the hurt – the hurt won’t ever really go away. But there’s certain things that she had done toward me that I personally have to – things that happened between us, that I have to put aside if I want to move forward.”
And what better way to do that than with a new, precious member of the family!
