Over the past couple years, Kendall Jenner has quietly established a reputation for herself as the most rebellious, independent-minded member of her family.
The funny thing is, she earned the title by not dating D-list rappers or starring in sex tapes.
Say what you will about the Kardashian-Jenner girls and their supposedly lackluster work ethics, Kendall knew from a young age that she wanted to be a high-fashion model, and she’s accomplished exactly that.
Kendall claims her famous name was a liability early on in her career, but obviously her connections helped her rise to the top of a wildly competitive field in less than two years.
Now, however, Kendall is eager to prove that she can do it on her own, without the help of her famous sisters – or even her notorious momager, Kris Jenner.
Kendall recently struck a deal with Estee Lauder to develop a signature makeup line, and it seems she completely cut Kris out of the negotiation process.
“Kendall got his Estee Launder line on her own,” a source close to the situation Radar. “She wanted to do her own thing and she did not want to share any of the profit with her mom.
“Kris is really pissed off at Kendall because she did not include her in this and she went off on her own. She feels completely betrayed by her own daughter.
Yes, it seems Kris is especially angry because she was able to cash in big time on Kylie Jenner’s lip kits, and she was hoping to repeat that success with Kendall.
“Kylie’s lipstick company has been a huge money-maker for Kris, and she was hoping that Kendall would join in on her sister’s gig. But it’s clear now that Kendall wants no part of it.”
So Kendall didn’t want to shill overpriced crap to her youngest and most gullible Instagram followers and then split the profits with her mom? How dare she!
