Kelly Clarkson may need to catch her breath.
Because she just experienced a moment like this that likely has her staring down at a tiny human being right now and saying: my life would suck with you.
Indeed… Clarkson just gave birth to her second child!
The singer herself confirmed this blessed news via a message on Twitter, writing this morning:
“Our little baby boy has arrived!! Remington Alexander Blackstock was born 4/12/16 & he is healthy & we couldn’t be happier or more in love!”
Hooray!
Along with Brandon Blackstock, Clarkson is already the parent to an adorable little girl named River Rose.
She announced her second pregnancy during an August 2015 concert at Los Angeles’ Staples Center, stopping halfway through a performance and saying:
“I was not planning on announcing this but … I’m totally pregnant!”
And this is why we love Kelly Clarkson.
“I’m familiar with all-day sickness,” the artist told Gayle King on CBS This Morning in November. “I have to get IVs and fluids because I get so dehydrated. It’s really bad.”
However, she noted, the opportunity to “pop out magical unicorns” such as River Rose makes the entire struggle worth it.
And this is also why we love Kelly Clarkson.
