She put off proceedings in order to help take care of him, but it might be time for Khloe Kardashian to legally end things with Lamar Odom.
“Kris [Jenner] is telling Khloe that it is time to end things with Lamar,” a source tells Radar Online. “There was a reason to be in charge of him medically for a while, but that time has passed.”
It’s clear that the family cares about Odom, having stuck by him as he recovered from a near-fatal overdose in October 2015.
They’ve also supported Khloe as she spent days on end by his hospital bed, including Thanksgiving.
“Kris really loves Lamar. She loves all of her kids and their partners, but she doesn’t think that Khloe has a future with Lamar. And she doesn’t want her to wait around for him anymore.
“Kris talks all the time to Khloe about Lamar and she pointed out that Khloe isn’t that involved in Lamar’s life on a day-to-day basis,” the source said.
Now, though, it might be time to give Khloe that push she needs to finalize her divorce from Odom, for her own sake.
“Khloe has told Kris that she wants to get married and have babies, like her sisters, and Kris gently told her that she didn’t think that was possible with Lamar anymore,” the source added.
“That maybe he had too many problems for them to have a successful life together.”
