“Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a daughter at 8.34am,” Kensington Palace tweeted on May 2nd, 2015.
2. Will and Kate Take Princess Charlotte Home
Merely ten hours after giving birth to her second child, the Duchess of Cambridge left St. Mary’s Hospital for Kensington Palace.
3. Snug In a Bonnet
Charlotte wore a knitted bonnet and was swaddled in a matching blanket, a gift from her nanny’s Spanish mother.
4. All In The Family
The little princess, weighing 8 lbs 3 oz at birth, was born in the same Lindo Wing as her father, uncle and older brother.
5. HRH The Princess of Cambridge
On May 4th, Kensington Palace confirmed that the baby’s name would be Charlotte Elizabeth Diana.
6. And Baby Makes Four!
Charlotte is fourth-in-line to the throne after her grandfather, father and older brother.
