Leah Messer deals with two ex-husbands, both of whom also happen to be her baby daddies.
A few days ago, Messer’s second ex-husband, Jeremy Calvert, posted a meme to his Instagram account.
No caption was provided, but the message was clear:
You don’t post this sort of a photo without expecting a reaction, so let’s assume that Calvert is trying to get his ex’s attention.
Messer hasn’t responded to the Instagram publicly, probably because she’s so busy tweeting mantras about finding oneself and ignoring the haters.
Teen Mom 2 fans spoke on Messer’s behalf, though.
“Pathetic, and I really liked you Jeremy. So this means you can go to a club but Leah can’t. Double f–king standard!” one person commented.
“I see what you’re doing, and it’s only going to come back to bite you in the ass,” wrote another. “If you can’t say something nice, you shouldn’t say anything. People are always watching and waiting for you to f–k up and be immature and post things like this.”
Calvert and Messer have a three-year-old daughter, Adalynn. They were married for three years before divorcing in 2015 (Messer signed papers while in rehab for depression and stress).
Last October, Messer addressed her second marriage during a fan Q&A on Facebook.
When asked why things didn’t work out with Calvert, Messer kind of put the blame on her ex.
“I do love Jeremy, but when you say for better or worse you don’t give up easily on that person!” she said, insinuating that Calvert was the one who threw in the towel on their union.
“I’m just thankful we do what is best for our daughter and always have her best interest at HEART!”
While we can’t say what their relationship is like now, back then it was fine. We think?
“We get along great! He sees Addie anytime he’s in and we just really work together on when she sees him and when she sees me. We let her decide.”
Things may have changed after Messer saw the above meme, we’re guessing.
