Kylie Jenner may not be as inked-up as her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Tyga, but the girl certainly loves her tatts.
At last count, Kylie has four tattoos, and small as they are, she seems to enjoy tinkering with them.
You may remember when Kylie got a tattoo on her hip that says “sanity” (spelled out phonetically, for some reason).
Well, apparently she felt the tiny red text didn’t convey the right message.
For reasons that are as unclear as why she got the tatt in the first place, Kylie recently decided to alter her ink.
As TMZ reported today, Kylie’s hip now reads “before sanity.”
The reality star and makeup magnate posted the following clip of herself getting the new tattoo earlier this week:
We’re surprised anyone noticed the clip amidst the endless commercials for Kylie’s new eye shadow that now make up the majority of her Instagram and Snapchat accounts.
Naturally, Kylie hit up Tyga’s personal tattoo artist, Rafael Valdez, to give her her new ink.
Everyone from Johnny Manziel to Iggy Azalea has gone to Valdez, and he’s believed by many to be the best in the business.
Sporting his work on your body is considered to be something of a status symbol these days, so naturally, Kylie had to become one of his celebrity clients.
Not sure why you would need to shell out for one of the top tattoo artists in the world (Valdez charges $ 200/hour, with a $ 600 minimum.) to draw a tiny red circle on your arm, but that’s Kylie’s prerogative.
Anyway, as for the meaning of the “before sanity,” your guess is as good as ours.
Kylie probably has some high-minded explanation, but we’re guessing it’s a load of B.S.
