Taylor Swift: WIPED From Social Media! Was She Hacked? New Album on the Way?

As of today, Taylor Swift has been wiped from social media.

Her accounts are still there, but every photo that she’s ever shared, and even her profile pictures, are gone as if they’d never been there.

Today is actually a big deal for Taylor Swift, so — whether she was hacked or did this herself — the timing is not a coincidence.

Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr (she used to be very, very active on Tumblr) show zero activity on Taylor’s accounts.

Taylor Swift’s abrupt social media cleanse has fans buzzing.

That’s very understandable.

There was absolutely zero warning.

Sure, Taylor’s been less active in recent months on social media than she had been int he past.

Just this summer, she broke what had been months of social media silence to congratulate Selena Gomez on Selena’s new music.

Some wonder if this is just paving the way for what’s to come.

Others worry that Taylor’s been hacked — that someone got access to all of her accounts and decided to just wipe them out.

Her Instagram account looks like this now:

Taylor Swift, Blank Instagram

Aside from little details like her follower count, that looks like a brand new account instead of one belonging to one of the most popular celebrities in the world.

But today, August 18th, isn’t just any day.

Today is the three-year anniversary of Taylor Swift dropping “Shake It Off.”

Today is also the three-year anniversary of Taylor Swift announcing her 1989 album.

Yeah.

So, barring some very unlikely malfunctions that occurred simultaneously on multiple social media platforms, there are two possibilities.

One, that someone wanted to hurt the singer — because they could — by wiping out years of hard work.

Two, that Taylor is preparing for something.

Think of it this way:

1989 marked Taylor’s foray into the true mainstream.

Her previous albums had enjoyed tremendous popularity, but they’d already had a strong Country element that limited their appeal.

1989 had none of that.

However, last year, with Taylor already fearful of overexposure and weakened by Calvin Harris’ treachurous tweets at her after their breakup, Taylor Swift faced Kim Kardashian’s carefully timed attack.

So many fickle fans turned on her, calling Taylor a “snake.”

(Now, Taylor Swift is 100% a Slytherin, but that’s no insult and also not what people meant)

It’s been more than a year than that shameful time, and it feels like the time is right for Taylor to come back.

So today could mark preparations for Taylor to drop a new album.

We cannot tell you how exciting that is for us.

She’s wiped the slate clean and can be reborn anew, rising stronger.

Taylor has already vanquished a foe in court this week, winning her court battle against the man she says groped her.

She’s also been putting her money where her mouth is and donating to help other women who have been sexually assaulted.

Now sounds like the perfect time for a grand resurrection of her career.

Whatever Taylor has planned, we can’t wait to see it!

Miley Cyrus Debuts "Younger Now" Video, Teases New Album

Miley Cyrus has changed a lot over the course of the past year.

In a few short months, she"s reconciled with Liam Hemsworth, shed the candy-colored aesthetic of her Bangerz period, and taken her music in a more traditional (some would say more generic) direction.

Miley even quit smoking weed, a move that would"ve been unimaginable throughout much of her career.

Miley"s new sound seems to reflect the stability she"s found in her personal life, and the lyrics address the quiet contenment she"s enjoying these days.

The first single off her forthcoming album, "Malibu", was an emotional ode to Hemsworth and the new life the two of them had built together.

The second track, "Younger Now", was released today, and lyrically, it"s more focused on the personal transformation Cyrus has undergone in recent months.

The song seems to contain something of a mantra for the New Miley:

"No one stays the same," Cyrus sings at one point, a line so significant to her that in the video, it"s written across the screen in large red letters.

In addition to dropping a new single and video (in which Miley mimics the look and moves of her longtime musical idol Elvis), Miley also revealed the release date for her next album.

The record, also titled Younger Now, is set for release on September 29.

It"s looking more and more as though the eternally unpredictable, toungue-wagging, weed-smoking Miley has left us for good.

But if the popularity of her new music is any indication, fans are happy to embrace this blissed-out, more mature Miley.

Jay-Z Album Title 4:44 EXPLAINED by Mind-Blowing Fan Theory on Twitter!

We briefly wondered why Jay-Z’s album was titled 4:44. Like, is it a time of day? And then we were distracted by all of the major bombshells that the lyrics contained.

Well, one fan posted a theory with a photo that would absolutely explain it and its deep meaning.

Of all of the bonkers conspiracy theories that have ever surrounded Jay-Z and Beyonce, this is the most plausible.

Okay, so … you remember that elevator video of Solange Knowles attacking the f–k out of Jay-Z?

That question’s rhetorical, because we all remember.

Solange seemed to fly into a rage, leaping at and attacking Jay-Z in that elevator.

Well, the elevator was at a hotel called The Standard.

And one very observant fan had an epiphany, took a photo, and shared it to Twitter.

4:44 Theory

That’s amazing, right?

And it would basically confirm that Solange’s fury was about Jay-Z’s cheating and the stress from his cheating (possibly) causing Beyonce to have miscarriages.

(We kind of knew that after Lemonade dropped, to be honest)

If the address is 444, then 4:44 as an album title makes a lot of sense, right?

Except that the truth is … somewhat stranger.

See, 444 is the address of Le Bain, which is a rooftop bar above The Standard.

The Standard’s address is 848 Washington Street.

Now, Jay-Z and Beyonce and Solange were coming back from Le Bain when the incident occurred.

But they were in an elevator within The Standard, which does not have that address.

In case you think that we’re being nitpicky, Jay-Z has already explained the name of the album.

4:44, the album, is named after “4:44,” the song.

And “4:44” is so named because Jay-Z woke up at 4:44am (a much more reasonable time to go to bed than to wake up) and wrote the song, confessing to sabotaging his marriage to Beyonce with his compulsive cheating.

So … we’re thinking that the address of Le Bain is probably a huge coincidence.

No number of explanations are going to put at ease the conspiracy theorists out there.

Remember, we live in a world where there are real people who believe that NASA has a child sex slave colony on Mars and that there’s a cloning factory where replacement celebrities are grown.

Every year, you see another detailed analysis of the Superbowl’s Halftime Show.

In real life, the Halftime Show is just the only part of the sportsball game that’s actually interesting or worthwhile.

In the minds of conspiracy theorists, these performances are all elaborate Illuminati rituals that are also Satanist and also Masonic even though those are different things and one of those is made up.

These conspiracy theories absolutely include Beyonce (who’s been part of a couple of Halftime Shows over the past several years) and Jay-Z. And even their children.

When Blue Ivy was born, the top trend on Twitter was a proposed acronym for Blue’s middle name: “Illuminati’s Very Youngest.”

While we admire such creativity, it’s worrisome that people actually believe any of these things.

So, yeah, anybody who believes this kind of stuff is probably going to believe literally whatever they want about Jay-Z’s album title.

But, let us assure you: it’s not that deep.

Jay Z: Confesses to Cheating on Beyonce, Slams Kanye on New Album

It’s been four years since Jay Z dropped a new album, and in that time, a lot has changed in the life of the business mogul and hip hop pioneer.

Most recently, of course, Jay and wife Beyonce welcomed twins, but there have been so many other major developments in Jay’s life between 2012 and now that it can be hard to keep track.

It’s appropriate that Jay is addressing these matters through his music, as some of his most tabloid-ready drama of the past few years began with some scathing lyrics.

On her groundbreaking album Lemonade, Beyonce accused Jay of cheating on her with the now-infamous “Becky with the good hair.”

On 4:44, Jay appears to address those rumors, comparing his situation to that of Halle Berry’s first husband, Eric Benet.

“You almost went Eric Benét, let the baddest girl in the world get away,” Jay raps.

He goes on to liken his plight to the breakup between Future and Ciara, referencing the fact that Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson now seems to be playing a father figure role in the life of Future’s child:

“I don’t even know what you woulda done/In the future, other n–gas playing football with your son,” he raps.

In the same track, Jay addreses his famous elevator fight with Solange Knowles in lyrics that read:

“You egged Solange on,” Jay rhymes, “knowing all along all you had to say you was wrong.”

Speaking of feuds, elsewhere on the album, Mr. Carter vents some frustration with his former protege, who slammed Jay and Beyonce in a mid-concert rant last year.

In one of the most scathing verses on the album, Jay raps:

“I know people backstab you, I feel bad too / But this ‘f–k everybody’ attitude ain’t natural / But you ain’t the same, this ain’t KumbaYe / But you got hurt because you did cool by ‘Ye”

“You gave him 20 million without blinkin’ / He gave you 20 minutes on stage, f– was he thinkin’?/ ‘F–kin’ wrong with everybody?’ is what you sayin’ / But if everybody’s crazy, you’re the one that’s insane.”

There’s no denying that the last four years of Jay Z’s life have been tumultuous ones, with much of the turbulence created by the rapper himself.

In the end, however, he appears to have found redemption through the forgiveness of his wife and family, and 4:44 is peppered with references to beginning a new chapter with the birth of his twins:

“Took for these natural twins to believe in miracles. Took me too long for this song, I don’t deserve you,” he rhymes.

“My heart breaks for the day I have to explain my mistakes and the mask goes away.”

Wait … natural twins?

Is he confirming that Beyonce’s first pregnancy was fake?!

We kid, of course – but such speculation is a good reminder that millions of fans will never tire of scrutinising the lives of the Carters.

Will Katy Perry Trash Taylor Swift on New Album?

It seems like just yesterday Katy Perry released her fourth studio album, Prism.

That album was released in 2013, and we’re feeling a little old. Naturally, fans have been questioning when the 32-year-old will drop her fifth album.

Perry opened up to Entertainment Weekly about her break from the music industry, new album details and an update on whether she will be firing a song back at Taylor Swift after Bad Blood.

In the interview, Katy confirmed that she did, indeed, take a break from the limelight after her grueling Prismatic World Tour. She hit up Santa Barbara, California for some respite.

The energy is just totally different — it’s not thirsty or desperate or clingy,” Perry tells EW.

“It’s a really beautiful kind of Zen-like feeling place. I just went there to gather myself, and I started making a record in June of last year.”

Being in the public eye must be a tough experience when you’re promoting an album, attending public appearances and embarking on a world tour, but at least Perry admits to taking breaks.

There are some stars out there that just don’t stop, and it likely ruins the fun of being one of the most popular singers on the planet.

Perry confirmed that she wrote 40 songs for her new album, but had to whittle that down to 15 to have the album made. The star never let the publication in on the big secret about the title of her latest album.

Instead, she detailed the sound of it.

“It’s really quite brave,” Perry continued.

“Sonically, it’s fun and dance-y and dark and light. It’s all of these things. It definitely is a change.”

Katie also admitted that her latest effort will chart her move into her 30s.

“I left my 20s, and I’ve gone to my 30s,” she says.

“I’ve embraced. I’ve surrendered. I’ve healed some of my issues with my family, with my relationships. Today I’m sober, but I don’t know about tomorrow! One day at a time, right? [Laughs] It’s all kind of beautiful. I built up Katy Perry, and she was so fun. And I still am Katy Perry, and I love her so much but, at the core, I’m Katheryn Hudson, and I think that’s being revealed as I embrace who I really am.”

On new song titles, Perry confirmed two, with “Bigger Than Me” and “Swish Swish” will be released later this year with the album.

Another pressing topic discussed was whether Katy planned to target Taylor Swift for allegedly making “Bad Blood” about her and if the song was actually about Perry in the first place.

Her response is pretty eye-opening.

“Well, that’s not my question to answer — if it’s about me. I think [my new album is] a very empowered record. There is no one thing that’s calling out any one person. One thing to note is: You can’t mistake kindness for weakness and don’t come for me. Anyone. Anyone. Anyone. Anyone. And that’s not to any one person and don’t quote me that it is, because it’s not. It’s not about that.”

“Honestly, when women come together and they decide to unite, this world is going to be a better place. Period end of story. But, let me say this: Everything has a reaction or a consequence so don’t forget about that, okay, honey. [Laughs] We got to keep it real, honey. This record is not about anyone else!”

“This record is about me being seen and heard so that I can see and hear everyone else! It’s not even about me! It’s about everything that I see out there that I digest. I think there’s a healing in it for me and vulnerability. If people want to connect and be healed and feel vulnerable and feel empowered and strong, God bless and here it is.”

It sure sounds like Katy is playing coy about the whole thing. Maybe she and Taylor are actually friends and are sitting giggling like school girls over some wine that the internet thinks they’re against each other.

What do you think about all of this?

Sound off below!

Taylor Swift: Working On New Album!

Taylor Swift has been MIA from the public eye for quite a few months now.

The award-winning singing sensation was once everywhere, with stories about her fashion, relationships, and feuds taking center stage.

After some very public bust-ups, it appeared that Taylor was slowly losing her place as the innocent woman with a great voice.

But does this self-imposed exile signal the dawn of new music?

ET Online picked up on the lack of public appearances since her pre-Superbowl performance in Texas on February 4.

A source close to Swift confirmed she “has been busy working on her upcoming album.”

Apparently, Swift is debating the specifics of the new album and whether it would be a good idea to continue towards a pop sound as opposed to country.

Her last album, 1989 was a critical and commercial success, cementing Taylor as a vocal prowess who proved she could change her sound up if she wanted to.

2016 was a tough year for Taylor.

She had a very public feud with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, which resulted in people on Twitter claiming Taylor was over.

The feud went nuclear when Kim revealed details about it on an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

All of the details from Kim made Taylor look like a liar.

On top of that, Taylor had a very public relationship with Tom Hiddleston that had everyone questioning whether it was the real deal. Yes, it seems like eons ago.

People need a break, and it seems like Taylor is doing just that while returning to her roots in Nashville.

“She comes here to get away from the paparazzi,” an eyewitness suggested.

What do you think about all of this?

Are you excited for the new music?
