Grey"s Anatomy Season 14 Episode 8 Recap: Who Hacked the Hospital?!

The action went into high gear on Grey’s Anatomy Season 14 Episode 8 when it emerged that the hospital had been hacked.

Everything was calm in the opening scenes of the hospital, with Meredith wondering what her next big milestone would be while preparing for surgery.

During an interview about the Harper Avery win, Meredith was surprised when she realized her surgery time was diminishing.

So, she cut the interview short and went to grab an intern for her surgery. Jo was struggling to play a mean doctor, and Meredith took Schmitt off of his hands.

Meredith’s patient needed her spleen operating on, so she prepared the woman for surgery. They went the keyhole route because it would leave the least amount of scarring.

Things took a horrifying turn when the hospital was hacked and Meredith and Schmitt had to act fast. Meredith realized that she needed to open the woman up, so she sent Schmitt for blood.

The issue was that the blood room’s passcode was changed during the hack, meaning Meredith had a woman who needed blood on the operating table.

Schmitt ultimately gave up some of his own blood and it helped garner him some brownie points with the award-winning surgeon.

Bailey had a snafu with the FBI when she asked them to let Jackson pay the $ 20 million ransom out of his own funds, and it made the FBI go crazy because they did not want it to get out.

Jackson and Maggie worked together to save a man, but they had to take him to a local hospital because if the electricity shut off, the man would not be able to breathe.

On the helicopter, the man’s tubing came out and blood sprayed across the whole helicopter, but it did not seem as if the patient was going to make it out of this mess alive.

Alex and Jo worked with a child who was in trouble because he may or may not have another clot in his brain. As his condition deteriorated, the doctors scrambled to find out whether the kid had been given a vital vitamin.

They could give him a drug if he had been given it, but Alex and Amelia decided to go ahead with the drug because they thought it was a chance worth taking.

However, Jo found the doctor who was supposed to administer the vitamin, and learned that he did not give the kid it. As Jo raced back to stop Alex from giving the drug, she bumped into a familiar face.

Her abusive ex-husband was in Seattle Grace! Oh, and Alex gave the kid the drug.

What the hell is going on?

We’ll find out January 18 when Grey’s Anatomy returns to ABC!

Kristen Stewart, Miley Cyrus Hacked: Another Fappening?

There are some truly terrible people in this world. Unfortunately, some of them have some serious hacking skills and are only too happy to make celebrities into their victims.

That’s right — fears right now are that another incidence of The Fappening has struck.

The latest victims include Miley Cyrus and Kristen Stewart, among others. … Including Tiger Woods.

We all remember past instances of this.

Sometimes, someone gets a hold of a celebrity’s camera or sometimes a star trusts the wrong person.

But these mass leaks aren’t from one very lucky terrible person who’s gotten sexts from tons of celebs and decides to release them all because they’re some sort of amoral monster.

No, these massive leaks happen when hackers manage to access cloud storage of photos, penetrating security and violating people’s privacy.

It can take a long time to identify and bring these creeps to justice.

It was almost three years ago that Jennifer Lawrence’s nudes leaked, among others, back in October of 2014.

You know when the hacker behind the leaks was finally arrested?

March of last year. That’s a year and a half later.

This time around, victims include Kristen Stewart, Miley Cyrus, Tiger Woods, and actress and singer Katharine McPhee.

Just as when this has happened in the past, celebrity lawyers have raced into action.

Kristen Stewart and her girlfriend, Stella Maxwell, immediately had their legal representation begin instructing websites to take down their photos.

Reportedly, photos leaked of Kristen Stewart include images of her topless, images of her topless in the bathroom with her girlfriend Stella, and close-up images allegedly of her, showing her breasts, butt, and genitals.

It’s creepy that they’re out there, and we of course hope that they can all be erased from the web.

Kristen Stewart’s lawyer, Scott Whitehead, says that posting the pics is illegal because they belong to his client and cannot be posted or reposted without her consent.

This isn’t a “well the cat’s out of the bag” situation here, folks — anyone posting those images could be sued.

Tiger Woods’ attorney, Michael Holtz, hasn’t been mincing words, promising serious consequences to sites that don’t take down images of his client.

(We just wish that everyone who’s been victimized in this manner — even ordinary, non-celebrities — could immediately afford top-notch legal representation, you know?)

We should note that while photos belonging to the other stars were reportedly hacked from their phones (well, the cloud storage from their phones), Tiger Woods’ photos were said to come from the phone of his ex-girlfriend, Lindsay Vonn.

Katharine McPhee, a singer and actress who starred on that unwatchably awful Scorpion show but who’s also done good things, has also lawyered up with the same intention as the other stars.

It’s clear that these hacks weren’t just about lust, not that “but I really wanted to see them” is an excuse.

Kristen Stewart and Miley Cyrus have both appeared topless before. There’s really no mystery about what they look like naked.

(Again, that would not have been an excuse)

These violations are clearly about power, about invading the privacy of these people — and specifically, of women.

There are some sick people in this world.

Let’s hope that he perpetrator is caught and concentrate on the photos that these starlets have voluntarily shared with the world.

Taylor Swift: WIPED From Social Media! Was She Hacked? New Album on the Way?

As of today, Taylor Swift has been wiped from social media.

Her accounts are still there, but every photo that she’s ever shared, and even her profile pictures, are gone as if they’d never been there.

Today is actually a big deal for Taylor Swift, so — whether she was hacked or did this herself — the timing is not a coincidence.

Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr (she used to be very, very active on Tumblr) show zero activity on Taylor’s accounts.

Taylor Swift’s abrupt social media cleanse has fans buzzing.

That’s very understandable.

There was absolutely zero warning.

Sure, Taylor’s been less active in recent months on social media than she had been int he past.

Just this summer, she broke what had been months of social media silence to congratulate Selena Gomez on Selena’s new music.

Some wonder if this is just paving the way for what’s to come.

Others worry that Taylor’s been hacked — that someone got access to all of her accounts and decided to just wipe them out.

Her Instagram account looks like this now:

Taylor Swift, Blank Instagram

Aside from little details like her follower count, that looks like a brand new account instead of one belonging to one of the most popular celebrities in the world.

But today, August 18th, isn’t just any day.

Today is the three-year anniversary of Taylor Swift dropping “Shake It Off.”

Today is also the three-year anniversary of Taylor Swift announcing her 1989 album.

Yeah.

So, barring some very unlikely malfunctions that occurred simultaneously on multiple social media platforms, there are two possibilities.

One, that someone wanted to hurt the singer — because they could — by wiping out years of hard work.

Two, that Taylor is preparing for something.

Think of it this way:

1989 marked Taylor’s foray into the true mainstream.

Her previous albums had enjoyed tremendous popularity, but they’d already had a strong Country element that limited their appeal.

1989 had none of that.

However, last year, with Taylor already fearful of overexposure and weakened by Calvin Harris’ treachurous tweets at her after their breakup, Taylor Swift faced Kim Kardashian’s carefully timed attack.

So many fickle fans turned on her, calling Taylor a “snake.”

(Now, Taylor Swift is 100% a Slytherin, but that’s no insult and also not what people meant)

It’s been more than a year than that shameful time, and it feels like the time is right for Taylor to come back.

So today could mark preparations for Taylor to drop a new album.

We cannot tell you how exciting that is for us.

She’s wiped the slate clean and can be reborn anew, rising stronger.

Taylor has already vanquished a foe in court this week, winning her court battle against the man she says groped her.

She’s also been putting her money where her mouth is and donating to help other women who have been sexually assaulted.

Now sounds like the perfect time for a grand resurrection of her career.

Whatever Taylor has planned, we can’t wait to see it!

Sarah Hyland Nudes Hacked AGAIN!

This is just awful.

Sarah Hyland, the beautiful Modern Family actress, has had her personal photos hacked, which means that there are once again nude photos of her circulating on the internet.

The worst thing about this is that it’s happened before. …

Sarah Hyland’s shown serious sideboob before to show off a tattoo, but that was her choice.

This is different.

This happened to Sarah Hyland once before, in 2014.

This time, the pictures appear to show Sarah Hyland topless (and bottomless) while wearing a robe that covers basically nothing.

Some celebrity nude hacks reveal celebs in some serious sex acts, but this isn’t a case of Sarah Hyland “getting off easy” — this is a violation.

We don’t yet know the origins of the hack or who might be behind it, but we hope that investigators are able to get to the bottom of things.

Sarah Hyland deserves that much.

And she wasn’t the only one in these photos. …

At least one of the photos is said to feature a topless Sarah Hyland kissing her ex-boyfriend, Matt Prokop.

You might remember that she was granted a three-year restraining order against Matt Prokop after revealing that he had choked her, threatened to burn down her home and also threatened her dog.

It was reportedly part of abusive behavior that had gone on for years.

Monstrous but sadly not surprising. Abuse is no rare thing.

(At least Matt Prokop isn’t as popular as Johnny Depp, or maybe he’d still have hordes of people trying to defend him)

These days, Sarah Hyland is dating hottie Dominic Sherwood, known for his role in Taylor Swift’s “Style” music video and best known for his role as Jace Wayland (or, arguably, Jace Herondale — it’s complicated) on the Freeform supernatural drama series, Shadowhunters.

Things seem so, so much better for Sarah Hyland these days.

Sarah Hyland is 26, an adult by any standard.

(Arguably not a grown-up, since that really begins around 30 … or so … but that’s not a knock on her)

For this hack, which appears to have happened yesterday, as with every hack, trolls are going to come out of the woodwork to claim that it’s somehow her fault.

“If you don’t want your nudes to leak, don’t take them,” is usually the general gist of what they say.

That’s victim-blaming, usually with a heavy dose of slut-shaming.

Having something doesn’t entitle others to steal it from you and share it with the world.

We somehow doubt that those trolls would argue that it’s somehow the owner’s fault if their television or jewelry is stolen.

Nudes, stolen from a phone or computer or private social media account or ripped form the cloud, are no different.

Hell, even actresses who have gone nude for roles deserve privacy for their personal photos. How much you show of your body should always be your choice.

If a porn star’s nudes are stolen, it’s still a crime.

Sarah Hyland’s now had to deal with anorexia rumors, two hacks of her nudes, and a horrifyingly abusive relationship.

That’s more than enough for anyone.

Whatever drives people to punish celebrities for existing by obtaining and releasing their nudes to the public, it needs to stop.

Sarah Hyland has reportedly vowed legal action against anyone who publishes these ill-gotten goods, so we hope that this will be enough of a deterrent before too many people see her nude.

One of the only sources of consolation in these cases is that real nudes are often lost among the endless photos with poorly photoshopped images of celebrity faces on bodies that are clearly not their own.

But that’s a small comfort.

Katy Perry Twitter Hacked: What Did She Supposedly Say?

Are Katie Perry and Taylor Swift about to put their bad blood aside?

If you were reading Katy Perry’s Twitter feed on Monday night, you were probably fooled into thinking that was the case.

A string of Tweets were sent from Katy’s account on the social networking site and one of them had people thinking that Katy and Taylor were about to reunite.

This is what the message read:

“Miss u baby @TaylorSwift13.”

The Twitterverse reacted in excitement and in surprise… but it didn’t take long for word to leak that Perry did not actually write this post.

There’s no denying that the two singers making it up would set the Internet ablaze, but Katy really wasn’t the person who sent the Tweets out.

There’s no word on who was behind the hack, but whoever it was should really try to be a little bit more believable next time round.

Any sane person would know that the Tweets are not from Perry. We somehow doubt she really misses her ongoing nemesis.

Moreover, Perry doesn’t write in broken English. Take a look at what the Tweets actually said:

Katy Perry Twitter Feed

Also, Perry was probably too busy reading about the latest rumors of Orlando cheating on her to care about all of this nonsense.

If you thought things couldn’t get much worse, they did.

A quick refresher, for those who may have forgotten:

Perry and Swift were once pretty close.

But then Taylor accused Perry of stealing a backup singer for one of her tours, igniting a passive aggressive feud that culminated with Swift penning the track “Bad Blood,” implying rather strongly that it was about Perry.

Early last year, Perry pretty much confirmed a rivalry with Swift.

Neither side has spoken directly about the tiff and the gossip world has more or less moved on.

With the exception of one hacker, apparently.

Who out there wants to tell this individual that Katy and Taylor will never make up? We call not it!

Rachel Roy: Email Hacked! Truth About "Becky" Exposed?!

Well, this complicates things.

Rachel Roy was trying to be all low-key since getting herself involved in the year’s most sordid love triangle, but it appears that things are about to get worse.

While fans still try to figure out who “Becky with the good hair” is, The Sun reports that Roy’s email has been hacked.

F-M-L, said Roy. And Jay-Z.

Sources tell the British newspaper that “personal information” has been stole from the designer’s computer.

“Rachel has confided to friends about the stolen emails,” the source said.

“She has no idea how they’ve been swiped but is aware how much harm they can cause.”

Uh yeah.  Like, a lot of harm.

“From a personal level, she wanted to distance herself from the furore after initially playing up to the link as Jay Z’s rumoured other woman,” the source added.

“But now she fears the spotlight will be well and truly back on her, Jay Z and Beyonce if these conversations end up online.”

What’s worse?  Roy allegedly has emails about her affairs with other married men.

Roy dug herself a hole by posting an Instagram in response to the lyric from Beyonce’s new single, “Sorry.”

“Good hair don’t care, but we will take good lighting, for selfies, or self truths, always,” she wrote.

“Live in the light #nodramaqueens.”

The thing is, no one really suspected Roy was “Becky” until she posted the Instagram.

Roy was then forced to issue a statement denying any involvement with Jay-Z.

“I want to put the speculation and rumors to rest. My Instagram post was meant to be fun and lighthearted, it was misunderstood as something other than that,” Roy said.

“There is no validity to the idea that the song references me personally. There is no truth to the rumors.”

“Consequently, online haters have targeted me and my daughters in a hurtful and scary manner, including physical threats.

“As a mother – and I know many mothers would agree – I feel that bullying in any form is harmful and unacceptable.”

Mark Salling: Could His Computer Have Been Hacked?

Mark Salling has a shady incident in his past.

He was once accused of sexual assault, settling the lawsuit out of court for millions of dollars.

Mark Salling has a reputation as a ladies’ man.

“He loves going out and has always been a big flirt – constantly hitting on women at parties,” a Hollywood insider tells People Magazine of the actor, adding:

“He came across as skeezy.”

But still.

Despite these facts and claims, those close to the former Glee star still cannot wrap their heads around the star’s arrest this week.

Early Tuesday morning, Salling was arrested on charges of child pornography.

Partly based on an interview with an ex-girlfriend of Salling’s, police obtained a search warrant and used it to comb through Salling’s desktop computer, along with his tablet and cellphone.

According to TMZ, they discovered hundreds of images on the computer, many of which featured kids under the age of 10 in sexual situations.

Could some kind of mistake have been made, though?

“This isn’t the guy I know at all,” a friend of Salling tells People. “I have to believe his computer was hacked.”

It’s understandable that someone close to Salling would think this, of course.

The actor was booked in downtown Los Angeles and later released on $ 20,000 bail on Tuesday.

A court date for the actor behind the Glee character of Noah Puckerman has been set for January 22, 2016, according to L.A. County Sheriff’s Department records.
