Michael Phelps & Nicole Johnson Celebrate Wedding With New Year"s Bash!
Back in June, Michael Phelps married Nicole Johnson in a small, private ceremony in Arizona.
Phelps and Johnson had recently welcomed their first son, and they were eager to tie the knot, but sought to keep the news under wraps, so as to not distract from his preparation for the Rio Olympics.
Now, Phelps has retired as the most decorated Olympian of all time, which means he’s finally free to party like all the non-superhumans he shares a planet with.
Phelps and Johnson celebrated their marriage in style on New Year’s Eve, with a huge party for their families, as well as for the many friends who weren’t able to attend the previous, more low-key reception.
Celebrity-ish guests in attendance included Olympic swimmers Allison Schmitt and Elizabeth Beisel, as well as Johnson’s makeup artist, Lisa G.
“I am headed over to get Nicole, her mom and besties makeup ready for the evening!!” Lisa wrote on Instagram before the party.
“I can’t wait for all of the festivities and to dance the night away!!”
Phelps and Johnson had a second ceremony back in October, and now they’ve celebrated their love once again with a Gatsby-themed soiree that would put Fitzgerald to shame.
We guess when you’re one of the most celebrated athletes in American history, your have your wedding last all year and no one will complain.
As for why the couple decided to get hitched in June rather than just waiting until after the Rio games, Phelps says they were motivated by logistics:
“Simple reason,” Phelps recently told Sports Illustrated.
“Boomer’s last name was Phelps and Nicole’s was Johnson, and that was going to make overseas travel more difficult.”
He added:
“We were getting married anyway, so we just did it.”
Phelps has said little about how he plans to spend his retirement, but it seems like he’ll be focusing on family life and shooting Intel commercials with Sheldon from The Big Bang Theory.
Hey, with everything he’s accomplished, the guy could spend the rest of his life in a recliner and still get mobbed for autographs when he leaves the house to stock up on Hot Pockets and Miller High Life.
He may never return to the pool for competition, but at least swim fans can look forward to the Olympic debut of Lil Boomer.

Beyoncé Has Huge Birthday Bash: See the Pics!
Beyoncé turned 35-years-old on September 4, but just how did she celebrate her birthday?
With a party, of course. Seriously, it was a star-studded affair that had a lot of her celebrity pals throwing it back to the 70s.
What more could one want on their birthday?
Being one of the hottest singers on the planet, it was obvious any party Beyoncé held was going to pretty spectacular.
Based on the pictures alone, it was.
There’s no better way than celebrating your birthday your family and friends dressed up and dancing away.
Fans had been sending their well wishes to the star over the weekend after it emerged that she wouldn’t be able to get in Formation with the New Jersey crowd until October 7.
The news came on the heels of strict doctor’s orders to give her voice a rest, forcing her to delay the date of her performance.
Poor Bey!
Maybe her gigantic performance at the 2016 MTV VMAs took it out of her.
It was definitely one of her more strenuous performances.
Either way, Queen Bey was not about to let her throat ruin her birthday celebrations.
Michelle Williams was very much in attendance and looked pretty darn great.
Heck, even Kelly Rowland dropped by to try and upstage her former band mate.
We’re hoping Destiny’s Child joined up for some sort of performance.
It would be rude not to. Right?
Guests at the party were treated to a brilliant dance between Beyoncé and her husband, Jay Z.
Maybe their chemistry in the video will put all of the rumors about the end of their relationship to rest.
The two of them seem as strong as ever.
As is the case with celebrity couples, rumors about relationship breakdowns are always around.
The party was not just for adults.
Blue Ivy stopped by to wish her mother a happy birthday.
As you would probably expect, she did so in the most beautiful way.
Blue Ivy made headlines after attending the MTV VMAs 2016 with her parents.
This paved the way for idiotic internet trolls to target her.
Yet again, trolls proved that they don’t care about their target being able to defend themselves.
They really will never learn.
Alicia Keys also showed up to join in the fun with the other celebrities.
She looked fantastic all dressed up in her 70s attire with Swizz Beatz.
The two of them looked like they were having a great time.

There’s also a good chance that they won the award for the best dressed couple.
Maybe not the best dressed, but they certainly must have turned some heads.
Everyone looks like they had a great time… even Solange Knowles.
Thus far, there are no reports of her arguing in an elevator with any of the other guests, so it sounds like things went pretty well.

James Kennedy: Vanderpump Rules Star "Too Drunk" To Fly Back From Las Vegas Bash
Go home, James. You’re drunk.
If not you’re not familiar with British drunk slob kebob James Kennedy from Vanderpump Rules, he is the skinny, tank top-wearing fruit fly who goes around insulting female cast members and irritating Jax Taylor to the point where he wants to punch him in the face.
In fact, James makes Jax look almost likeable.
James is a DJ, and was hired to spin/co-host the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s Rehab Pool Party over Memorial Day weekend with Rules co-star, Lala Kent.
According to Entertainment Tonight, James was too sauced to board his Southwest Airlines flight back to Los Angeles on May 30th.
“He and LaLa were screaming at each other in the terminal,” a source told ET.
“It looked like a classic drunken fight between friends…I’m pretty sure it was LaLa telling James to get it together before getting on the plane.”
Lala reportedly yelled, “I hate you” to James and then boarded the plane.
“Right before they closed the doors, the airline worker said James couldn’t get on because he was too drunk,” the source added.
“LaLa got on the plane and Raquel stayed back at the airport with James.”
Another source told E! that Kennedy was able to travel on a later flight.
A spokesperson from Southwest Airlines told the entertainment site the have no records of Lala and James fighting.
Then again, this is Las Vegas. Southwest probably sees this kind of thing happen all the time. Their policy probably allows for drunken antics to take place so long as no one is killed, vomits on gate agents or holds fast food employees hostage.
James has a history of surly drunkeness on Vanderpump Rules. On one episode, he got into a fight with an employee from Sur’s sister restaurant, Pump, which got him fired as a DJ and demoted back to his position as a bus boy.
He cried. It was awkward.
Neither James nor Lala have commented about the incident, most likely because they’re both still hungover.

Rob Kardashian Family Birthday Bash at Nobu: PHOTOS
Rob Kardashian turned 29 on March 17, St. Patrick"s Day, and his family threw him a spirited birthday bash two days later at the world-famous Nobu in Malibu.
The whole fam damily was on deck, including Rob"s mom Kris Jenner and sisters Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner.
Significant others also came, including Kanye West, Tyga, Corey Gamble and even Scott Disick, Kourtney"s ex. Little tykes Mason Disick, Penelope Disick and North West were also in attendance.
The only family member missing was Rob"s sister Khloe, who tweeted that she was sick.
But there was one other person who was conspicuously absent: Rob"s girlfriend Blac Chyna.
Looks like Rob"s mom and sisters aren"t quite ready to accept her into their brood. It may take some time, since the family, particularly Kylie Jenner, has been feuding with Blac for more than a year.
Earlier reports stated that Rob"s mom Kris Jenner had planned a celebration for him on the day of his birthday, but Rob bailed out to spend it with Blac.
Nevertheless, it appears that the family eventually came together to honor Rob, and it looks like they had a helluva time.

Justin Bieber Throws Self Early Birthday Bash: Who Was Invited?
It’s about to be Justin Bieber’s birthday…
… and he’ll invite all the ex-lovers he wants to.
The artist, who turns 22 years old on March 1, threw himself a wild and crazy party a couple days early this past Saturday.
It was held at a mansion in Bel-Air and it included a couple of guests who have allegedly both seen Justin Bieber naked.
According to various sources, per Us Weekly, both Kourtney Kardashian and Hailey Baldwin stopped by the shindig.
Kourtney, of course, was linked romantically to Bieber toward the end of 2015, with multiple outlets reporting that Kardashian was hooking up with Justin.
But Bieber then kicked off 2016 by taking a vacation with Baldwin, a young model who has pretty much confirmed that she’s having sex with Bieber.
Others in attendance at this early birthday party included Scooter Braun, Joe Jonas and Sean “Diddy” Combs.
The music mogul gifted The Biebs with a Bad Boy letterman jacket that Bieber tried on in front of guests at one point.
“Had to give lil bro that official #BadBoy Jacket for his Birthday,” the rapper captioned an Instagram post that referenced the event over the weekend.
Kardashian, meanwhile, posed in a photo booth with some of Bieber’s closest friends, most notably good call Alfredo Flores, who posted the image on Instagram:
Then there was Braun who is also the singer’s longtime manager and who Instgrammed another photo, writing as a caption:
“All grown up. Happy bday @justinbieber. Love yah buddy.”
