The Big Bang Theory may be coming to an end after 12 seasons, but the record-smashing and also controversial comedy series will leave fans with countless episodes to watch and rewatch.
But which episodes are the very best?
Everyone has their own opinions on which episodes are the best, but we took a look at how the episodes are rated on IMDB to figure out which are the most beloved by fans.
There are a lot of holiday episodes.
Also, a lot of episodes with the word "excitation" in the title. Mere correlation or is there a causal factor?

19. The Bath Gift Hypothesis
Season 2, Episode 11 — a Christmas episode and also the highest-rated episode. While Sheldon agonizes over what to get for Penny, because he wants to match her thoughtfulness instead of going overboard or giving her less than she deserves, Leonard is preoccupied. See, his buddy David has taken an instant shine to Penny and Leonard is having all kinds of feelings about it.
18. The Opening Night Excitation
Season 9, Episode 11 — in a truly preposterous turn of events, Sheldon has only just now realized that Amy’s birthday is on the same day as the Star Wars premiere, as if everyone doesn’t spend the three months before any new Star Wars film worrying and stressing over it. Sheldon does confide in Penny and Bernadette that he’s ready to get physical with Amy.
17. The Staircase Implementation
Season 3, Episode 22 — honestly, this one is a lot of people’s all-time favorite episodes. Leonard tells the story of how he ended up living with Sheldon and while he overlooked Sheldon’s personality quirks, as if Sheldon’s friendship weren’t an absolute gift. Also, fans finally learn why the elevator doesn’t work.
16. The Adhesive Duck Deficiency
Season 3, Episode 8 — Leonard is with Raj and Woolowitz in the desert to witness a meteor shower. Sheldon stays home, but ends up bonding with Penny, who is sick. He accidentally touches her in a way that neither of them had intended. This was all leading up to fanservice, however, because he sings a new version of “Soft Kitty” to her.
15. The Maternal Capacitance
Season 2, Episode 15 — Christine Baranski is love, Christine Baranski is life, and she play’s Leonard’s mom. You know how you sometimes really bond with a friend’s parent? That happens with her and Sheldon, while she’s very critical of Leonard … and just about everyone else. Leonard and Penny get a little closer as a result of her visit, though.
14. The Thanksgiving Decoupling
Season 7, Episode 9 — in yet another holiday episode on this list, awkwardness abounds at Thanksgiving. Sheldon is awkward around Bernadette, but her dad takes to Sheldon (and not to Howard Woolowitz) right away). In the mean time, Leonard does not love learning that Penny accidentally married her beautiful idiot boyfriend Zack years ago in Vegas. Whoops.

Chelsea Houska Shares New Maternity Photos, is the Actual Best
Pregnant Teen Mom 2 star Chelsea Houska is marking the final days of her third pregnancy with some stunning new maternity photos.
We don’t throw the word “stunning” around lightly, but let’s be real: Chelsea’s latest maternity shots certainly earn that designation.
The Housk gave photo credit to Kate Jones and baby credit to husband Cole DeBoer on Instagram when sharing the above image.
You know, because she took the breathtaking photos of her, and he put the baby in there. Well done, both of you. Good work.
Naturally, because it’s Chelsea, the responses were much more positive than you’d normally see on the Internet these days.
Especially for a cast member of Teen Mom 2.
“I so wish I would have done a pretty maternity shoot when I was pregnant,” one woman wrote, in the ultimate compliment.
“I always [thought] that it was corny,” the Houska fan added, “but @ChelseaHouska has changed my mind. STUNNING.”
Chelsea is changing lives, people.
In all seriousness, Houska actually agreed, responding to that tweet by revealing that she had similar thoughts about this process.
She writes: “I’ve never done them either, definitely out of my comfort zone! But the photographer talked me into it and I’m SO glad I did!”
It’s hard to argue that the pride of South Dakota makes pregnancy look maternal and sexy, which is not the easiest thing to pull off.
Good lighting helps, but still.
It’s even harder to argue that Chelsea has defied the odds by settling in to a very happy, drama-free and quiet life these days.
With the exception of the dark cloud that is Adam Lind hanging over her as he always will to some degree, she’s on cloud nine.
As her dad, Randy, says, she flies so far under the radar that MTV forgets she exists. Maybe not quite, but you get his point.
For a show focused on drama – on and off the air – this is no easy feat, especially in today’s 24-hour news and social media enviroment.
We’ve now reached the point where producers are accused of enabling or encouraging feuds, as Chelsea and Kailyn Lowry alleged.
The fact that Chelsea and Cole continue to share their lives with TV viewers, yet maintain their boundaries and stability, is impressive.
We’d argue she’s the real MVP of the show.
Houska, of course, shares a daughter, Aubree, with Lind. She recently welcomed Aubree’s little brother, Watson Cole DeBoer.
With the arrival of her third baby next month, her precious family is ready to become even cuter, if that’s humanly possible.

Kaley Cuoco Shares the BEST Wedding Photo, Featuring Her Furbabies
Three weeks ago, Kaley Cuoco and Karl Cook got married! And while their honeymoon was wasn’t exactly picture perfect, the actual wedding was beautiful.
Now, Kaley has taken to social media to share the best wedding photo of them all.
It features the newly married couple with their five most important guests.
“#tbt,” Kaley wrote on Instagram late Thursday evening. “To what I think is the best family wedding photo ever.”
While some would argue that it’s not really a throwback if it’s from a few weeks ago and you’re only now sharing it, it’s difficult to dispute the rest of her claim.
In this precious photo, we see Kaley and Karl … and their family.
Their four dogs stand lovingly with them, but that’s not all.
Look in the background and you’ll see Kaley’s horse.
Kaley and Karl actually have a number of pets, including a couple of rescue pit bulls named Shirley and Norman.
In the photo at the top, you can see Kaley holding little Ruby in her arms for the portrait.
The couple has multiple show horses, plus a mini-horse named Shmooshy.
Kaley is particularly passionate about pit bulls, in part because they have a massively unfair reputation that leads to their mistreatment and even death.
Contrary to how they are portrayed by alarmists and in the media, pit bulls are naturally gentle dogs with a caretaker’s disposition. Like humans, they can become aggressive if they have been tormented with violence or otherwise mistreated.
Biologically, the most aggressive dogs are actually dachshunds. (Yes, really)
Before Kaley and Karl even began to date, she was telling friends and family that her next man needed to be a dog lover.
It is so important for couples — particularly those looking for a long-term commitment with each other — to have certain things in common.
Sometimes, religious differences can be managed — especially if a couple isn’t planning on having children.
But if one loves dogs and the other does not, that’s a potential problem.
And plenty of dog-lovers would consider someone not lovings dogs to be not just a deal-breaker, but a huge red flag.
As we mentioned, their wedding was great. Their honeymoon wasn’t exactly a romantic dream.
In fact, Kaley Cuoco spent the honeymoon in the hospital, undergoing some much-needed shoulder surgery.
Fortunately, the surgery was not emergency and had been planned about a year in advance.
It was non-urgent, and Kaley decided that she’d rather wait to recover from surgery (recovery is usually painful and is never fun) until after she and Karl tied the knot.
She’s spent the past couple of weeks recovering at home.
If Kaley’s family wedding photo rubbed you the wrong way — maybe because you object to the idea that dogs (or a horse) can be family — keep that in mind.
Specifically, when you’re dating. If you don’t feel that special connection to dogs or horses or other animals, maybe find someone who feels the way that you do.
We’re so glad that Kaley found Karl, because the two of them can share their passion for their furbabies within their relationship.

Jana Duggar: Secretly Dating "Best Friend" Laura DeMasie?
The news that John David Duggar is courting Abbie Burnett has revived interest in Counting On fans’ very favorite question:
Namely, why is it that Jana Duggar is still single?
Jana is only 28, but in the Duggars’ world, that’s dangerously close to old maid territory.
Jana and her sisters were taught from a young age that procreation is second only to praisin’ the lawd on the list of a woman’s reasons for being.
While her siblings took that lesson to heart, with most of them marrying young and getting pregnant on their honeymoons, Jana has chosen a different path.
From what we’ve seen, that path mostly involves helping to care for her younger siblings, and lots and lots of gardening.
But if a new fan theory is to be believed, Jana’s existence isn’t quite as lonely as we’ve been led to believe.
If you’re a longtime Duggar aficionado, then you might recognize Jana’s longtime friend Laura Demasie.
Jana and Laura have been so close for so long that Demasie has even helped Jana with the homeschooling of her younger siblings.
So perhaps it should come as no surprise that many Duggar fans now suspect that Jana and Laura are more than just friends.
The subject is a common topic of discussion on Duggar-focused message boards on Reddit.
Many point to Jim Bob Duggar’s cryptic 2017 comment that Jana “preferred the company of women” as evidence.
It certainly sounds suggestive, but we’re pretty sure Jim Bob didn’t mean to imply that Jana might be gay.
We say that not because she’s definitely not gay, but because we highly doubt Jim Bob would ever publicly acknowledge that fact if she were.
It’s no secret that several Duggar children have rebelled against Jim Bob’s authoritarian rule in recent years.
But women wearing pants instead of floor-length skirts is one thing — coming out as homosexual would be quite another.
Hard it is to believe in 2018, there are still families that consider being gay to be a disownable offense.
And the Duggars are one of them.
Sadly, if Jana and Laura were actually in a relationship, they would likely be forced to keep it a secret for the rest of their days.
Even if the rumors about Jana were true and she wanted to come out she would likely realize that doing so would lead Jim Bob to force all of his other children to cut ties with her.
And for someone as family-oriented as Jana, that would be tantamount to a death sentence.
As if any of us needed another reason to dislike Jim Bob.
