Taylor Swift: Crushing ALL the Records with New Music Video!
Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” music video is rich in not-so-subtle symbolism but also features at least one “easter egg,” revealing who is in and out of Taylor Swift’s squad.
It’s also a really good music video. The song, compared to highlights from 1989, isn’t as strong, but we cannot think of a Taylor Swift music video that can match it.
Apparently, the internet agrees — because “Look What You Made Me Do” is smashing records with a vengeance. It’s coming for you, next, “Despacito.”
Part of the power that Taylor Swift wields is that, even though “Look What You Made Me Do” is controversial and even hated by some people, it’s crushing records.
The video and the song, both.
So, whether you love Taylor’s comeback with a vengeance or you can’t stand her or fall somewhere in between (there really are some indifferent folks out there), it seems that nobody can ignore her work.
Let’s go through some of the milestones that “Look What You Made Me Do” has hit.
Most First-Day Lyrics Views:
Taylor Swift’s song, which came out at the end of last week, was accompanied by a lyrics video.
(Remember the old days, when you had to just hope that the physical CD that you’d bought included the lyrics in the cover packet? That was hell)
That lyrics video alone received 19 million views within its first 24 hours.
The previous record belonged to the song “Something Just Like This,” by the Chainsmokers and Coldplay.
(“Something Just Like This” is a great song but the lyrics are so unintelligible that I once wrote out my “best guess” based upon what I was hearing after dozens of listens, and it was nuts — so it’s no wonder that so many people looked up those lyrics)
It’s been less than a week since “Look What You Made Me Do” dropped, but as of 1pm on Thursday, the lyrics video has more than 50 million views.
Most First-Day Spotify Streams:
Music Business Worldwide reports that “Look What You Made Me Do” was streamed almost 8 million times during the first 24 hours after Taylor released her new single.
Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran are friends (he’s even part of her squad), but he was the previous record-holder (“Shape of You” got 7 million streams on its first day) and Taylor ground that record under her heel.
Keep in mind that Spotify streams are just one of many ways to listen to music.
They don’t take into account listens by those of us who bought the song on iTunes (you get that single automatically when you preorder the Reputation album).
It also doesn’t count radio plays, all of the people listening on one video or another on YouTube, and of course the millions who immediately pirated the song.
Most Video Views During the First 24 Hours:
The “Look What You Made Me Do” music video was released during the VMAs on Sunday night.
It also got almost 30 million views during those first 24 hours.
Adele’s “Hello” got 27.7 views during its first day, which was all kinds of impressive.
But clearly Taylor Swift intends to reach ever upward.
As of 1pm on Thursday, not even four days after the video was released, the official “Look What You Made Me Do” music video on Taylor’s VEVO channel has over 78 million views.
Taylor also bested one of her personal records.
Taylor Swift’s Biggest YouTube Debut:
As you can imagine, Taylor’s previous personal best for a YouTube release was the music video for “Bad Blood.”
Despite Kendrick Lamar rapping over parts of the song, the star-studded music video was absolutely breathtaking.
It got an impressive 17 million views just during its first day.
Obviously, that doesn’t quite hold a candle to nearly 30 million views in the same time period.
Amazing that Taylor Swift at her current, “weakened” state is netting more views than she did when she was at the absolute height of her popularity.
We cannot wait to hear the rest of this album and see what other music videos she produces.
She’s set the bar pretty high.
Of course, if she wants to break the “Despacito” viewing record of 3.4 billion, Taylor will need all of the ambition that she has.

Kylie Jenner: Totes Crushing on Aaron Judge!
When it comes to Aaron Judge, the verdict is in:
This New York Yankees slugger is extremely good at baseball, having just tied the team’s rookie record for home runs in a season (29) in about half the number of games it took Joe DiMaggio to reach this same figure.
Fans in The Big Apple have been rising to cheer Judge since the very first game of the season.
And now a new report claims that Kylie Jenner wants to make Judge’s penis rise in bed, if you catch our very obvious and very sexual drift!
“Kylie thinks that Aaron is super hot and doesn’t know what she would do if she was in the same room as him,” an insider tells Hollywood Life, adding of the reality star:
“And with her saying that, her friends think she is 100% on the road to be officially single because, with her mind on other guys she hasn’t even met, it doesn’t bode well for Travis Scott.”
That’s sort of true.
Then again, it’s far healthier for a relationship if one side is merely fantasizing about an athlete she doesn’t know… as opposed to having lewd thoughts about an actual person in her life.
Right?
Admittedly, however, it does NOT bode well for a romance when one party is accused of cheating on the other on, like, 10 separate occasions.
If Kylie really is looking to move on from Scott, Judge would be an appropriate choice.
He plays a professional sport, which members of the Jenner-Kardashian clan have always loved. He’s only 25 years old.
And he’s on the verge of superstardom, if he hasn’t already achieved this status with an historic opening half to the season.
Judge has an OPS of 1.145, although Jenner is likely more focused on making him say “Oh, Please, Yes!” in bed.
His legend continues to grow with each long and hard home run, which probably makes Jenner just want round the figurative bases with his long and hard unit.
For several weeks now, Judge has been wielding serious wood at plate, although cares more about the type of wood that isn’t made of white ash people.
Simply put, Judge has been smashing the baseball all season, earning the attention of someone who would love nothing more than to smash hi,m between the sheets.
Is there actually a future for Kylie Jenner and Aaron Judge?
We know the former is over Tyga, and it sounds like she’s done with Travis Scott as well.
She hasn’t actually met Judge, however.
And while the right fielder has been hitting for a high average since May, we can’t say for certain that he wants to hit it with Kylie.
In conclusion, when it comes to Jenner and Judge and whether they’ll actually score as a couple, the jury is out.

O.J. Simpson: Crushing on Kris Jenner AND Caitlyn Jenner From Prison?!
O.J. Simpson has been back in the news in recent weeks, due mainly to the fact that the miniseries based on his famous murder trial proved to be a major ratings success for FX.
The renewed interest in O.J.’s bizarre life and times has revealed that despite the fact that he’s been locked up since 2008 there’s still plenty of drama in the world of the Juice.
In addition to the recent controversy over a knife that was found on Simpson’s property and briefly thought to be the weapon he used to kill Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman (DNA testing eventually proved that it wasn’t.), O.J.’s story has now become intertwined with the lives of reality TV’s most famous family.
As you may already know, Simpson was a long time friend of the Kardashian family before his fall from grace.
He even credits patriarch Robert Kardashian, Sr. with helping him beat the murder charges against him.
But while the Kard clan has gone on to experience unprecedented levels of celebutante fame, O.J. has been serving a lengthy prison sentence on theft and kidnapping charges.
But that doesn’t mean he’s forgotten about the Kardashian-Jenner family.
According to UK tabloid The Sun, O.J. is already thinking about his post-prison romantic prospects (He’s up for parole next year.), and they include not only Kris Jenner, but also her ex-husband, Caitlyn Jenner:
“O.J. has had a crush on Kris forever,” a source close to Simpson claims. “He believes the relationship that Kris is in now with Corey Gamble is a sham.
“He believes he is the man for her and intends to pursue her when he gets out of prison. There is definitely a long history there.”
But O.J.’s fondness for the women of the Jenner family doesn’t end with Kris:
“O.J. is obsessed with Caitlyn,” says the insider. “He is struck by how she has captured the hearts of the world and said with a straight face, ‘When I get out of here I would consider dating her too.’”
Apparently, Simpson’s intentions aren’t purely romantic, as he also views his relationships with Kris and Caitlyn as his best chance to restore his shattered public image:
“O.J. definitely has a plan when he gets out of prison and he intends to be around the Kardashians,” the source claims.
“He is going to pitch to them about getting a spot on the show. He is broke, he needs money and he feels his only chance to get back on TV — which is his dream — is to hook up with his old ‘family.’”
Don’t worry, O.J. We’re someone will offer you a reality show pretty much the day you’re out of the clink.

Kody Brown: Sister Wives Star Facing JAIL TIME After Crushing Legal Defeat?!
It probably wasn’t a good idea for Kody Brown and his four wives to venture into the world of reality television.
Sure, it brought them fame and fortune, but it also brought them the attention of Utah law enforcement officials, who launched an investigation into the Browns’ polygamous lifestyle not long after the first episode of Sister Wives aired back in 2010.
The Browns have avoided prosecution thus far, in part by relocating to Nevada.
In 2011, the family filed a lawsuit claiming that Utah’s laws against polygamy were a violation of their constitutional rights.
Today, however, that suit was rejected by the Tenth Circuit Court, a move that could have devastating legal consequences for the Browns.
Interestingly, the Browns have yet to be charged with a crime, despite more than 100 hours of televised evidence.
This despite a recent statement from Utah State Police confirming that an investigation into the Browns possible criminal activities began “the day after the first episode aired.”
It’s possible that the DA didn’t want to go ahead with the charges due to the unclear nature of the state’s anti-polygamy statutes.
Now that a separate legal body has confirmed that the Browns are not protected by the constitution, however, law enforcement could decide to strike.
In all likelihood, however, Kody and company will never be prosecuted.
For starters, they’re protected by a stipulation that law enforcement in Utah would only pursue charges against polygamists in cases where the parties “(1) induce a partner to marry through misrepresentation or (2) are suspected of committing a collateral crime such as fraud or abuse.”
Additionally, by most accounts their run from the law was dramatized for the sake of television.
The Browns have been accused of faking much of the drama on Sister Wives, and that may end up helping them in this case.
Basically, if everything portrayed on the series was accurate, they’d be vulnerable to prosecution, but because many involved with production have confirmed that the show is largely scripted, they may be in the clear.

Amber Rose: Totally Crushing on Ronda Rousey
It"s been three weeks since Ronda Rousey suffered a shocking defeat at the hands (and feet) of Holly Holm in UFC 193.
At first, it was rumored that the beating was so severe that Rousey would require plastic surgery.
The fact that Ronda hid her face from paparazzi during her first post-fight public appearance only added fuel to the fire.
Fortunately, in her first interview since losing her title, Rousey says she"s doing just fine, and her face is healing nicely. (Although she admits she still can"t eat an apple.)
Even better, as evidenced by the video below, Amber Rose is still sporting a serious crush on Rowdy Ronda.
Asked by a TMZ cameraman if her affection for Ronda has waned now that she"s no longer the champ, Rose responded, "I have lesbianic feelings for Ronda."
What"s a little public ass beating when Amber Rose wants to put you in a leg lock?
Hopefully, Amber"s comment made Ronda smile…but not so wide that she re-split her lip.
Rousey has already promised that there will be a rematch with Holly Holm.
Hopefully, after that, she"ll take on Amber. Now that"s something that we"d shell out those ridiculous pay-per-view prices to watch.
